  • This paper proposes a message transfer application using smartphone with NFC(Near Field Communication) and GCM(Goolge Cloud Messaging) technology for prevention of personal information leakage. In implementing for the proposed system, we design a NFC-based vehicle status alerts service which make it possible to communicate with smartpone message without phone-number between a car driver and an unspecified person. The application provides message communication mechanism without exposing the real phone number, using the NFC tag written with the driver's smartphone device ID and GCM push messages. Through the evaluation result of the actual implemented application, the proposed system can be efficient technology in protection for leakage of personal information such as personal phone- number in daily life.

  • Today, our society is exposed to cyber threats, such as the leakage of personal information, as various systems are connected and operated organically with the development of information and communication technology. With the impact of these cyber risks, we are experiencing damage from the virtual world to the physical world. As the number of cases of damage caused by cyber attacks has continued to rise, social voices have risen that the government needs to manage cyber risks. Thus, information and telecommunication service providers are now mandatory to have insurance against personal information protection due to amendment of "the Act on Promotion of Information and Communication Network Utilization and Information Protection". However, the insurance management system has not been properly prepared, with information and communication service providers selecting the service operators based on sales volume rather than selecting them based on the type and amount of personal information they store and manage. In order for the personal information protection liability insurance system to be used more effectively in line with the legislative purpose, effective countermeasures such as cooperation with the government and related organizations and provision of benefits for insured companies should be prepared. Thus, the author of this study discuss the current status of personal information protection liability insurance system and the issues raised in the operation of the system. Based on the results of this analysis, the authors propsoe tasks and plans to establish an effective personal information protection liability insurance system.

  • Information and time are very important for a modem life, and researches about the personal secretary system that provides specific information for each individual are being studied. In this research, we developed the personal secretary system called Genie which provides the user with desired informations such as weather, news, and traffic information with time. It is expected that the Genie system will provide information on news, weather, traffic information including bus arrival times, and memos with time so that users can find their own leisure time and live a comfortable life.

  • For a company operating lots of vehicle, such as taxi companies or delivery company, a system telling the position of each vehicle is essential. Conventional methods are based on personal communication between a operator in head-office and driver at the car. Since driver cannot respond to the communication while he drives or when lie is out of car. the communication often fails. So, a system identifying and reporting the vehicle position offers groat help to those kind of company.

  • We have implemented a personal prescription management system which enables resource-limited mobile device to utilize the optical character recognition technique. The system enables us to automatically detect and recognize the text in the personal prescription by using a optical character recognition technique. We improved the recognition rate over a pre-processing in order to improve the character recognition rate of the original method. The examples such as a personal prescription management service, alarm service, and drug information service with mobile devices have been demonstrated by using the our system.

  • This paper introduces a sea environmental monitoring system for measuring pH,DO, level and temperature. This system is developed using a personal computer(PC) and multiple single board computers. A PC communicates with the single board computers by awireless communication method and transfers data to another personal computer for processing data by a modem. The values of pH,Do,level and temperature, which are basic components to estimate sea environment, are real-timely processed in the single board computer at each stations, and transferred to the monitoring PC. These data are graphically shown on the PC monitor and logged on the data processing system in the form of file. Using the wire and wireless communication system, user can constantly analyze the acquired data and detect the sea contamination.

  • This paper proposes Personal Information Auto Detection(PIAD) System to prevent leakage of Personal informations in document and image files that can be used by mobile service provider. The proposed system is to automatically detect the images and documents that contain personal informations and shows the result to the user. The PIAD is divided into the selection step for fast and accurate retrieval images and analysis which is composed of SURF, erosion and dilation, FindContours algorithm. The result of proposed PIAD system showed more than 98% accuracy by selection and analysis steps, 267 images detection of 272 images.

  • Recently, with the development of ICT technology such as cloud and mobile, image utilization through social networks is increasing rapidly. These images contain personal information, and personal information leakage accidents may occur. As a result, studies are underway to recognize and mask personal information in images. However, optical character recognition, which recognizes personal information in images, varies greatly depending on brightness, contrast, and distortion, and Korean recognition is insufficient. Therefore, in this paper, we design and implement a personal information identification and masking system based on image recognition through deep learning application using CNN algorithm based on optical character recognition method. Also, the proposed system and optical character recognition compares and evaluates the recognition rate of personal information on the same image and measures the face recognition rate of the proposed system. Test results show that the recognition rate of personal information in the proposed system is 32.7% higher than that of optical character recognition and the face recognition rate is 86.6%.

  • In the high degree information society of the 21st century, along with the social activity becoming much more closer, our life style will also be very much changed. Recognition for obtaining various informations rapidly will be anticipated to enhance and the progress of a mobile communication system is greatly expected. This will enable the system to give and receive ″whenever, wherever, whomever, whatsever information.″ In our country, the car telephone and personal mobile communication services of radio calling etc. are diversified by the telecommunication system reformation and by the introduction of competive principle of the hereafter of 1988. Moreover, in accordance with the tariff, the number of subscrier is rapidly increasing. On the other hand, on the utility side of business, for the realization of a mobile communication which is abundant in functional nature, not only the hitherto voice but also non voice system of data communication is being introduced. The Ministry of Communications of Korea has been expediting the effective utilization of limited frequency band of qusai microwave band etc. as a concrete measures for an ever increasing demand. At the same time, to disseminate and promote a mobile communication most effectively, convenience, economic, and safety nature of the system, and in addition to these, international standardization is considered. For constitution of a new mobile communication, the Ministry has been promoting various policies designed for the digitalization of system, utility extention for home. personal level.

  • General location aware systems are only applied to indoor and outdoor environments using more than three transmitters to estimate a fixed object location. Those kinds of systems have environmental restrictions that require an already established infrastructure. To solve this problem, an Object Location Estimation (OLE) algorithm based on PTP (Point To Point) communication has been proposed. However, the problem with this method is that deduction of performance parameters is not enough and location estimation is very difficult because of unknown restriction conditions. From experimental tests in this research, we determined that the performance parameters for restriction conditions are a maximum transmission distance of CSS communication and an optimum moving distance interval between personal locations. In this paper, a system applied OLE algorithm based on PTP communication is implemented using a CSS (Chirp Spread Spectrum) communication module. A maximum transmission distance for CSS communication and an optimum moving distance interval between personal locations are then deducted and studied to estimate a fixed object location for generalization.
