Z축 운전구조를 갖는 선형 영구자석형 동기 전동기 운전제어에 관한 연구 (A study of control system on Permanent Magnet Linear Synchronous Motor with Z-axis operation structure)

  • In this study a control system with variable gain schedule using real speed and moving direction is proposed to control a Permanent Magnet Linear Synchronous Motor (PMLSM) with Z-axis operation structure. The implementation of the controller is designed on the DSP TMS320C32 board. PMLSM is operated by using 4-point absolute positions profile with each velocity, acceleration and deceleration. The direction of the initial angle action for starting is set from the lower limit point to the upper limit point on PMLSM operation stroke. The effectiveness of a control system with variable gain schedule is demonstrated by some experimental results.

  • This paper centers on a method which can reduce calculating time and maintain accuracy of whole model FE analysis with one pole model for short secondary Permanent Magnet Linear Synchronous Motor(PMLSM). We use one pole model which considers the number of pole of stator and mover respectively in order to replace whole model to one pole model and calculate flux linkage and back e.m.f. with accuracy. Also we verify the validity of proposed method with comparision of results of whole and one pole model.

  • This paper deals with characteristic analysis of Permanent Magnet Linear Synchronous Motor(PMLSM). Parameters and characteristic variations are evaluated by using Finite Element Method (FEM) and Equivalent Magnetizing Current Method. PMLSM can be classified into the short primary type PMLSM and the short secondary type PMLSM according to their structural features. Especially, the short secondary type PMLSM is focused on because of good control characteristics. And this paper presents the difference of analysis results between the short primary type PMLSM and short secondary type PMLSM and investigates the end effect of two PMLSM's.

  • 이 논문에서, 우리는 PMLSM(permanent magnet linear synchronous motor) 시스템에서 발생하는 detent force의 ripple 저감을 위한 진동보상 모델과 제안한 구조에 대한 제어기 설계 방법을 제시한다. 본 논문에서 고려되어진 제어기는 feedforward 보상기, PID feedback 보상기, 그리고 adaptive feedforward 보상기의 세 부분으로 구성된 제어기를 사용한다. 특히, PMLSM의 위치 정밀성 향상에 관한 연구를 위한 정밀 위치 제어의 문제는 PM으로 인해 발생하는 detent force이며, 이를 해결하기 위해 출력신호를 웨이블릿 변환하여 추출 후 이를 보상하였다.

  • This paper deals with the optimal design of a slotless type of permanent magnet linear synchronous motor (PMLSM). Response surface methodology, one of the optimization methods, is used to consider multiple response of the PMLSM. That is, it is applied to obtain more average thrust and less thrust ripple than prototype PMLSM. To analyze quickly, characteristic analysis of the PMLSM is performed by space harmonic method and final results of optimized PMLSM are compare with those of prototype PMLSM through finite element analysis.

  • Detent force develops generally undesirable effect that contributes to the output ripple of machine, vibration and noise. This paper proposes detent force minimization techniques for a Permanent Magnet Linear Synchronous Motor (PMLSM). In addition, thrust according to each minimization technique is estimated to observe the change of machine performance. A two-dimensional Finite Element Method is used to predict detent force and thrust due to structural factors and non-linearity. And moving node technique for geometric models is proposed to reduce modeling time and efforts.

  • In this paper, a control method based on finite element analysis is presented to reduce the thrust ripple of the permanent magnet linear synchronous motor (PMLSM). In the control method, additional compensation current is added to the conventional control current according to the position of mover. The exact value of the compensation current is calculated from finite element analysis. To conform the validity of the presented method, a test set is built and experiments are performed.

  • This paper proposes a coordinated control for an independent multi-phase transverse flux linear synchronous motor (IM-TFLSM) based on magnetic levitation. The stator structures of the IM-TFLSM are composed of a two set, which has independent three-phase windings and a double-sided air-gap as opposed to the conventional Y-connected three-phase linear motors. A suitable control algorithm is necessary to operate the applied linear machine. This study proposes a coordinated control algorithm for adjusting the mover air-gap and thrust force of the IM-TFLSM in order to maintain air-gap and phase shifted current control of the independent 3-phase modules. In addition, the principle of operation and its special structures are described in detail and the validity and effectiveness of the control algorithm is verified through multiple experimental results.

  • The Slotless Permanet-magnet linear synchronous motors (PMLSM) have been developed for factory automation, transportation applications, wafer steppers, conveyance system, and so on[1]. The current analysis and design are treated in air-cored PMLSM. The main purpose of this paper is to provide a general design and analysis framework for the iron-cored linear permanent-magnet machines. Based on field solution using two dimensional analytical technique the magnetic field required magnet volume size, optimal winding thickness size, winding flux linkage and thrust will be discussed.
