요양보호사의 업무만족도에 미치는 영향요인분석 : 요양서비스 제공 태도를 매개하여 (Analysis of Factors Affecting Satisfaction on Job of Long-Term Care Worker : Attitude of providing care services as a Mediators)

  • Purposes: The purpose of this study is to analyze the factor of affecting on job satisfaction by mediating attitude of care service. Methodology: (1)Identify socio-demographic characteristics, work characteristics, the elderly support period, the presence of education related to the elderly, the presence of service associated with the elderly, and significant factors of the research subjects. (2)Identify changes in the number of education and services before and after obtaining a caregiver qualification. (3)Identify the attitude of providing care services and job satisfaction according to the characteristics of the research subjects. (4)Identify the direct and indirect factors influencing job satisfaction by mediating the service attitudes of the research subjects. Findings: First, age factors have positive effects and the volunteering experience have negative effects on job satisfaction by mediating attitude of care service. Although the number of education class has increased after qualification, educational factors had no significant effect. Second, the longer elderly support period had a positive effect on job satisfaction. Practical Implications: This study is meaningful in that it identifies the direct and indirect impacts on job satisfaction through care attitudes. In the future, it will be necessary to pay attention to improving the quality of long-term care services by analyzing the influence factors more.

유아교사의 교사효능감 영향요인 탐색을 위한 융합적 접근 (A Convergence Approach to Exploring Factors Affecting Teacher Efficacy of Early Childhood Teachers)

  • 본 연구는 유아교사의 교사효능감에 영향을 미치는 요인을 탐색하기 위해 현재 재직 중인 유아교사를 대상으로 자료 수집하여 202명 자료를 분석하였다. 대상자의 일반적 특성과 공감, 회복탄력성, 교사효능감에 대한 빈도분석, 상관분석, 다중 회귀분석을 시행하였다. 연구결과 유아교사의 교사효능감 영향요인은 교육경력, 직무성취도, 공감, 회복탄력성으로 확인되었으며 설명력은 57.2%로 나타났다(F=45.848, p<.001). 결론적으로 유아교사의 교사효능감은 회복탄력성(β=.480)이 높을수록, 직무성취도(β=.286)가 높을수록, 교육경력(β=.197)이 많을수록, 공감(β=.141)능력이 높을수록 증가되는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 유아교사의 교사효능감 증진을 위해 예비유아교사 시기부터 회복탄력성, 직무성취도, 공감능력을 증진시킬 수 있는 정규교육과 비정규교육과정을 융합한 교육과정 개발 및 교육이 요구된다.

119 구급대원의 임파워먼트와 직무만족과의 관계 (The Relationship Between the Empowerment and the Job Satisfaction of 119 Emergency Medical Technician)

  • Objective : The objective of this study was to survey the job-related empowerment and job satisfaction of 119 emergency medical technicians provide emergency patients with first aid, to examine the correlation between their empowerment and job satisfaction, and to provide basic materials for developing programs to enhance 119 emergency medical technicians' empowerment and job satisfaction. Methods : The survey was conducted with 249 119 emergency medical technicians working at fire stations in an area of Gyeonggi-do during the period from June 26 to August 21, 2009. Using SPSS 14.0 program, we obtained frequencies percentages, means, and standard deviations, and performed independent two sample t-test, one way ANOVA, and Pearson correlation analysis, and Cronbach's ${\alpha}$. Results : 1) The mean score of the subjects' empowerment was 3.32, and that of their job satisfaction was 2.94. 2) As to difference according to general characteristics, no statistically significant difference was observed in empowerment but job satisfaction was statistically significantly different according to gender(t = 2.296, p = .023). 3) As to difference according to job related characteristics, empowerment was significantly different according to license type(F = 3.767, p = .011), and job satisfaction was statistically significantly different according to position(t = 3.222, p = .042), fire fighting experience(t = 2.689, p = .035), and first aid experience(t = 3.991, p = .007). 4) Empowerment was in a positive correlation with job satisfaction(r = .502, p = .000) in general, and by the sub areas of job satisfaction, the correlation with empowerment was high in order of job itself(r = .695, p = .000), interaction area(r = .493, p = .000), organizational demand area(r = .328, p = .000), working condition area(r = .153, p = .015), and wage area(r = .137, p = .031). By the sub areas of empowerment, the correlation with job satisfaction was high in order of significance(r = .424, p = .000), influence(r = .397, p = .000), competence(r = .372, p = .000), and self determination(r = .259, p = .000). Conclusion : The 119 emergency medical technicians' empowerment was in a high correlation with their job satisfaction, and had a strong effect on it. This suggests that 119 emergency medical technicians' job performance can be enhanced by improving their empowerment. These results are expected to be useful in making human resource management plans to enhance 119 emergency medical technicians' job satisfaction by empowering them.

기혼간호사의 육아경험에 관한 현상학적 연구 (A Phenomenologic Study on the Married Nurse's Experience of Child Rearing)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine a married nurse's experience of child rearing through being applied to phenomenological research method. By exchanging their experiences, helping and understanding one another, married nurses can work with delight considering their own present job as their lifelong job. In addition this study can help single nurses overcome the female crises such as marriage, childbirth, and child rearing they will experience in the future. The subjects of this research was 26 married nurses who work for a university hospital in affiliation in Seoul and have children. The period of materials collection was from Feb. 1st to Mar. 3, 1995. The method of materials collection was primarily to write down a questionary with openhearted contents. In collecting it, the respondents were allowed to say at their pleasure through further interview. The materials were analyzed by Giorgi's phenomenological analysis method. The findings of this study are as follows ; 1) The responses of married nurses' experience of child rearing-[pleasure] [family solidarity] [maternal-infant attachment] [understanding] [toilsome]-were induced. That is, at once affirmative experience and hard experience coexisted. 2) The method of married nurses' child rearing-[rearing politely] [raising understanding] [having the sense of family community] [rearing with praying the heart] [careless]-were induced. 3) The support system of married nurses' child rearing-[having help family] [having help from others]-were induced. According to the above findings, the married nursed showed affirmative responses about their experience of child rearing, but at the same time they expressed painful when stayed apart from their children on account of their job or when their children were sick. In the method of child rearing, they tried to grow their children polite because there was much time for them to stay apart from their children. And they tried to give a better explanation in order that their children can have an independence spirit. They tended to compensate through frequent physical touch with their children. As the support system of married nurses' child rearing, they asked their parents or their parents-in-law to take care of their children, hired a nursery governess in their houses, or used a children's home, if they can't afford to. That is, the only one who has a firm sense of her profession, tries to inspire her accomplishment, and is receiving her husband' love and understanding is considered to perform two things simultaneously with harmony, having an recognition of lifelong job. Suggestions 1. The method to solve mental troubles on child rearing should be groped. 2. Their economical burden should be reduced by establishing children's home in their working places, and the increase of maternal-infant interaction should be contrived. 3. The chance of education should be offered in order that married nurses themselves might inspire self-conceit and professionalism on clinical nursing. 4. The familiar mood should be created through planning the programs to be accompanied with children as an annual event in hospital. 5. The part-time nurse system should be suggested to utilize. 6. The system of circulation working should be converted into the system of fixing working according to the characteristic of each department. 7. Programs for special activities such as learning foreign languages and computer should be supported positively.

Improving the Workplace Experience of Caregiver-Employees: A Time-Series Analysis of a Workplace Intervention

  • Background: Rapid population aging in developed countries has resulted in the working-age population increasingly being tasked with the provision of informal care. Methods: An educational intervention was delivered to 21 carer-employees employed at a Canadian University. Work role function, job security, schedule control, work-family conflict, familywork conflict, and supervisor and coworker support were measured as part of an aggregated workplace experience score. This score was used to measure changes pre/post intervention and at a follow-up period approximately 12 months post intervention. Three random intercept models were created via linear mixed modeling to illustrate changes in participants' workplace experience across time. Results: All three models reported statistically significant random and fixed effects intercepts, with a positive coefficient of change. Conclusion: This suggests that the intervention demonstrated an improvement of the workplace experience score for participants over time, with the association particularly strong immediately after intervention.

서울시 일부 치과위생사의 직무만족에 영향을 미치는 요인 (Seoul some dental hygienist in the factors affecting job satisfaction study)

  • Purpose : First, this study is to look into difference between dental hygienists' demographic characteristics and their job satisfaction by examining their demographic characteristics and job satisfaction. Second, this study is to analyze demographic factors of dental hygienists which influence their job satisfaction. Method : This study was made through mail survey with questionnaires for dental hygienists who are personally performing dental hygienist duties at dental clinics in Seoul between June 19 and July 24, 2008 by looking into factors influencing dental hygienists' job satisfaction in order to provide them as background data to enhance their job satisfaction. Total 180 questionnaires were distributed, and among these, 156 questionnaires excluding 24 questions of incomplete responses were statistically analyzed with SPSS 12.0. Result : First, the total mean of dental hygienists' job satisfaction was found to be 2.99 points out of 5 points, and that of their autonomy to be the highest as 3.26, and that of their salary to be the lowest as 2.55. Second, for relation between general characteristics and job satisfaction of dental hygienists, significant difference was found just in job experience(p<0.05), current position(p<0.05), average salary(p<0.001), and the expected period of engagement in dental hygienist duties(p<0.01). Third, descriptive power on demographic characteristics, which were used as an independent variable influencing their job satisfaction, was found to be 17.7%, and among the said factors, average salary had a statistically significant effect on their job satisfaction(p<0.01). Conclusion : The point of salary factor was lowest among 5 factors composing dental hygienists' job satisfaction, and as a result of multiple regression analysis, a factor influencing job satisfaction was average salary. Therefore salary system is required to be improved in order to increase their job satisfaction, and further studies on factors influencing their job satisfaction are also required to be made.

진로체험 참여 고등학생의 간호사 이미지와 진로 정체감에 미치는 요인 (Factors Influencing on Nurse's Image and Career Identity of High-school Students who Participated Job Experience)

  • Objectives: This study was conducted in order to examine the correlation between the image of nurse and career identity among high school students participating in a vocational experience program of a nursing department, to find influential factors, and ultimately, to improve the image of nurse and promote the establishment of career identity for the development of nursing career and to obtain strategic information for developing nursing departments' vocational experience programs. Methods: Data for this study were collected using a structured self-report questionnaire from 90 high school students participating in a vocational experience program executed at the Nursing Department of W University in G Province during the period from April 26 to July 19 in 2014. Results: According to the results of data analyses, factors influencing the image of nurse were career identity(${\beta}=0.339$, p=0.002) and satisfaction with the program(${\beta}=0.153$, p=0.043) in order of significance(F=9.51, p<0.001), and factors influencing career identity were the image of nurse(${\beta}=0.301$, p=0.002), satisfaction with the program(${\beta}=0.254$, p=0.010), and gender(${\beta}=0.231$, p=0.015) in order of significance(F=12.06, p<0.001). Conclusions: These results suggest that when high school students participating in a vocational experience program of a nursing department are satisfied with the program, the program is more effective in improving the image of nurse and promoting the establishment of career identity. Based on this study, further research is necessary to get strategic information for developing various vocational experience programs, to provide high school students with vocational experiences related to nursing through the programs, and to examine the effects of such programs.

융복합시대 에코부머세대의 직업 스트레스 궤적과 예측요인 (Job Stress Trajectories of the Eco-boomer Generation in the Convergence Era and Predicting Factors)

  • 본 연구는 종단적 연구를 통하여 융복합시대 에코부머 세대의 직업 스트레스 변화궤적을 추정하여 예측요인을 밝혀냄으로써 직업 스트레스 정도와 그 변화 따라서 개인의 경험하는 직업 스트레스 요인을 파악하여 향후 우리나라의 사회 중심이 될 에코부머 세대의 직업 스트레스로 인한 심리적 부담 완화를 위한 사회복지 개입 시 활용할 수 있는 기초자료를 얻고자 한다. 본 연구는 2차 자료를 활용한 종단연구로서 한국복지패널 1차년도 ~ 7차년도 데이터를 잠재성장모형(LGM)을 적용하여 분석 하였다. 에코부머 세대의 직업 스트레스 예측요인을 확인한 결과 자아존중감으로 나타났으며, 이는 대부분 에코부머 세대의 경우 초기 측정시점이 대부분 학생에 해당되어 직업 스트레스의 수준이 덜했으나, 시간의 변화에 따라 직업에 대한 부담이 점차 증가한 것으로 확인하였다. 본 연구에서 에코부머 세대의 직업 스트레스가 어떻게 변화하는지 또한 그 변화의 예측요인에 대한 실증적 근거를 제시함으로써 에코부머 세대의 직업 스트레스에 대한 이해와 기초를 마련하였다는 점에 그 의의가 있다.

여가활동에 참가하는 대학생들의 개인적 특성과 여가참가경력이 취업스트레스에 미치는 영향 (The Personal characteristics of university students participating in leisure activities and the impact of their leisure experience on job-seeking Stress)

  • 본 연구는 여가활동에 참가하는 대학생들의 개인적 특성과 여가참가경력이 취업스트레스에 미치는 영향을 규명하는데 연구의 목적이 있다. 2019년 9월 1일부터 10월 30일까지 설문지를 이용하여 C시의 대학생 총 264명을 대상으로 집락무선표집법(stratified clusterrandom sampling)을 이용하여 표본을 추출하였다. 연구결과, 첫째, 성별을 살펴보면, 남성보다 여성이 학업스트레스를 더 많이 받는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 학년에 따른 결과를 살펴보면 2학년, 3학년보다 1학년, 4학년이 성격스트레스를 더 많이 받는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 전공계열에 따른 결과를 살펴보면 사회계열보다 자연계열 학생이 성격스트레스를 많이 받는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 자연계열보다 인문계열 학생이 가족환경스트레스를 많이 받는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 용돈에 따른 결과를 살펴보면 40만원~50만원을 받는 학생과 50만원이상을 받는 학생보다 10만원이하, 10만원~20만원을 받는 학생이 가족환경스트레스를 많이 받는 것으로 나타났다. 다섯째, 여가활동 참가경력에 따른 결과를 살펴보면 여가활동 참가경력이 많을수록 전반적으로 취업스트레스가 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 대학생들은 취업스트레스를 낮추기 위해서 다양한 여가활동을 통해 자기조절을 할 수 있는 토대를 마련해야 할 것이다.

신규 간호사의 투약오류 인지 및 경험에 대한 조사 연구 (Perception and Experience of Medication Errors in Nurses with tess than One Year Job Experience)

  • Purpose: This study was carried out to investigate perception and experience of medication errors by nurses. Method: Data collection through a survey was performed using structured questionnaires over the period of September 1 to October 15, 2004. Questionnaire were delivered to 222 nurses from 15 hospitals; thereafter, 205 questionnaires were responded (i.e., 92% response rate). The subject in the study was a nurse who had been working in the hospital for less than one year. Results: The average perception rate was 87.5%. The perception rates of subjects in medication errors from four areas are 62% in wrong dosage form for drug administration, 61.5% in air into an IV set, 63% in crystals in an IV lines, and 83.5% in wrong time. The experience rates of subjects in medication errors from four areas are 85.5% in wrong time, 39.5% in wrong injection site, 34.5% in omission error, and 28% in wrong patient. Conclusion: The average perception rate and experience rates of medication errors were 87.5% and 23.5%, respectively. Education about the Five right in medication and knowledges about drugs would improve the perception of medication errors of nurses whose work experience is less than one year, and prevent them from medication errors.
