한국 소비자들의 명품에 대한 개념 특성에 관한 연구 (Korean Consumers' Perceptions toward Luxury Products)

  • The emergence of the luxury market has led numerous academic researchers, as well as marketers in the luxury market, to pay attention to both identifying luxury brand features and measuring perceptions toward luxury brands. Especially, Korea is a significant emerging market for luxury goods. Young consumers and male consumers are getting into the luxury market fast and these new segments will keep increasing. There are only a few studies related to distinctive definitions of luxury brands and measurement development for the Korean market. However, there are some limitations in these previous studies in that they did not capture the nature of luxury due to their inappropriate of subjects and approach in data collection and to lack of a perspective of Korean specific features. Thus, the purpose of this research is to identify Korean consumers' perceptions toward luxury products and, ultimately, to develop a reliable and valid measurement items for the luxury products' features for the Korean market. Defining the three high constructs(functional, emotional, and symbolic aspects) as a key needs and benefits on luxury brands, we looked at four stages of development for generating and deducting items by luxury industry experts and luxury consumers, as well as for testing measures by 20th~60th consumers. As a result, this study confirmed that luxury brands consists of high quality, high price, unique design, and luxury store; the emotional aspect construct combines craftsmanship, VIP service, and high social status; and the symbolic construct includes brand heritage and being a well-known brand. Finally, 22 measurement items (Measures of Luxury Brand for Korea: LBK) were developed for the conceptual features for luxury brands from a Korean perspective. This study provided understanding of Korean consumers' perceptions toward luxury brands from an academic perspective. For the managerial implication of this study, LBK can be utilized to judge both luxury brands and mass brands, to diagnose current a brand's luxuriousness, from the customer's point-of-view, and, finally, to measure a Key Performance Index (KPI) of luxury brand companies.

최적화 기법을 사용한 실내 이동 로봇의 위치 인식 (An Optimization Approach for Localization of an Indoor Mobile Robot)

  • 본 논문은 실내 주행 로봇의 위치 추정을 위해 최적화 기법을 적용한 방법에 대해 기술한다. 주행 로봇의 위치 추정에 사용되는 베이지안 필터 방법의 경우는 측정값과 환경 요소에 대한 불확실성을 고려하기위해 사용하는 조절 파라미터에 따라 추정성능이 달라진다. 또한 로봇동작 및 센서 측정 모델의 비선형성에 의하여 성능이 저하될 수 있다. 최적화 기법은 조절 파라미터가 적고 모델의 비선형성의 영향을 적게 받는다. 본 연구에서는 최적화 기법의 위치 추정 활용성을 보이기 위해 최적화 방법에 의한 추정성능과 EKF방법에 의한 추정 성능을 비교한다. 사용한 측정 센서는 초음파 위성 시스템(USAT, Ultrasonic Satellites system)으로서 4개의 비컨으로부터 로봇까지의 거리를 측정한다. 측정값의 비정상 오차를 제거하기 위하여 마할라노비스 거리(Mahalanobis Distance)를 이용한다. 최적화 기법은 거리 측정값을 사용하여 목적함수를 설계하고 반복계산을 통해 위치의 최적 값을 찾는다. 반복 수행을 위한 초기 위치를 베이시안 필터 방법을 통하여 적절히 설정함으로서 제안된 방법은 위치 추정 성능을 향상시키고 실행 시간을 단축시킬 수 있다.

Effects of real-time feedback training on weight shifting during golf swinging on golf performance in amateur golfers

  • Objective: The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of real-time visual feedback weight shift training during golf swinging on golf performance. Design: Repeated-measures crossover design. Methods: Twenty-sixth amateur golfers were enrolled and randomly divided into two groups: The golf swing training with real-time feedback on weight shift (experimental group) swing training on the Wii balance board (WBB) by viewing the center of pressure (COP) trajectory on the WBB. All participants were assigned to the experimental group and the control group. The general golf swing training group (control group) performed on the ground. The golf performance was measured using a high-speed 3-dimensional camera sensor which analyses the shot distance, ball velocity, vertical launch angle, horizontal launch angle, back spin velocity and side spin velocity. The COP trajectory was assessed during 10 practice sessions and the mean was used. The golf performance measurement was repeated three times and its mean value was used. The assessment and training were performed at 24-hour intervals. Results: After training sessions, the change in shot distance, ball velocity, and horizontal launch angle pre- and post-training were significantly different when using the driver and iron clubs in the experimental group (p<0.05). The interaction time${\times}$group and time${\times}$club were not significant for all variables. Conclusions: In this study, real-time feedback training using real-time feedback on weight shifting improves golf shot distance and accuracy, which will be effective in increasing golf performance. In addition, it can be used as an index for golf player ability.

과제 지향적 훈련프로그램이 뇌졸중 환자의 균형, 일상생활동작 수행능력 및 자기효능감에 미치는 영향 : 예비연구 (The Effects of Task-Oriented Training Program on Balance, Activities of Daily Living Performance and Self-Efficacy in Stroke Patients : A Pilot Study)

  • Purpose : The purpose of this pilot study was to examine the effects of task-oriented training program on balance, activities of daily living(ADL) performance, and self-efficacy in stroke patients. Method : Two subjects with stroke in experimental group participated in the task-oriented training program, while two subjects with stroke in control group received traditional rehabilitation therapy for 4 weeks, 30 minutes per session, four times per week. The task-oriented training program consisted of four tasks with 4 difficulty levels. In two groups, balance was examined with using the Berg Balance Scale(BBS), ADL performance was examined with using the Modified Barthel Index(MBI), and Self Efficacy was evaluated with using the Self-Efficacy scale(SES) before and after 4-week training. Result : After 4 weeks training, all scores of measurement variables increased in both the experimental group and the control group, but the average rates of change differed between the two groups. After the training program, the scores of BBS, MBI, and SES in experimental group increased to 11.4%, 9.9%, 15.4%, respectively than pre-training. Conclusion : According to the results of this study, task-oriented training program might be proposed as a intervention to improve balance ability, ADL performance, and self-efficacy in stroke patients.

사고 통계기반 선박사고 예방지수 개발에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Development of a Preventive Index Based on the Statistical Data of Ship Accidents)

  • 선박, 항해기술 발달과 더불어 안전에 대한 교육 및 법제 강화에도 불구하고 해양사고는 지속적으로 발생하여 큰 피해를 주고 있다. 사고가 발생하면 생명, 재산 그리고 환경적 재해가 수반하게 되므로 예방활동이 강조되고 그를 위한 정책적, 교육적, 법제적 노력에도 예방성과는 미흡한 실정이다. 본 논문에서는 예방활동의 동기와 성과를 촉진하고 체계적인 안전관리를 위한 시각적이고 정량적인 지수를 개발하여 선순환적인 예방문화를 구축하고자 선박사고 예방지수(PISA)와 예방수준(PLSA)을 개념화하고 정량화하였다. 선박사고 예방지수를 설계하기 위하여 지난 5년(2009~2013)간 국내에서 발생한 사고통계 자료를 4개 영역, 즉 교육, 기술, 단속, 정보영역으로 구조화하고 예방요소와 인자를 추출함으로써 지수를 정의하였다. 정의된 지수 산정에 필요한 평가모듈을 설계하였으며, 설계된 모듈을 이용하여 화물선, 여객선, 유조선, 예선, 어선을 대상으로 지수를 측정하였다. 측정된 선박사고 예방지수 결과를 통계적, 사례적으로 위험성(Risk)과의 상관관계를 분석하여 유용성을 확인하였다. 제안된 선박사고 예방지수를 인증제도 등에 활용함으로써 선박별 맞춤형 성과기반 예방활동은 물론 예방중심의 안전문화 촉진과 선박사고 저감효과가 기대된다.

뇌졸중 환자를 위한 일상생활활동 평가도구에 관한 체계적 고찰 (A Systematic Review of Assessment Tools of Activities of Daily Living for Stroke Patients)

  • 목적: 본 연구는 뇌졸중 환자를 위한 일상생활활동 평가도구에 관해 체계적 고찰함으로써 임상 및 연구에서 자료로 활용되고자 하였다. 연구방법: 2001년부터 2016년까지 학회지에 게재된 논문을 검색하기 위하여 Pubmed, Embase, Cochrane, NDSL 데이터베이스를 사용하여"stroke AND activities of daily living AND occupational therapy AND assessment OR evaluation OR measurement"를 검색하여 체계적 고찰을 하였다. 평가도구의 종류와 사용빈도를 분석한 후 이에 대한 경향을 파악하였다. 또한 국제 기능 장애 건강 분류(International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health; ICF) 모델의 분류 기준에 맞추어 활동과 참여에 대한 평가도구를 분류하였다. 결과: 총 111개의 논문이 최종적으로 분석되었으며, 30개의 평가도구가 확인되었다. 최근 들어 뇌졸중 환자를 대상으로 한 연구 게재편수가 증가함에 따라 평가도구의 종류와 사용빈도가 증가하였다. 가장 많이 사용되는 평가도구는 기능적 독립성 측정(Functional Independence Measure; FIM), 바델 지수(Barthel Index; BI)와 캐나다작업수행측정(Canadian Occupational Performance Measure; COPM)이었다. ICF 모델의 분류 기준에 따라 분석한 결과 대부분의 도구는 활동에 대한 평가도구로 참여에 대한 평가도구 수는 매우 적었다. 결론: 본 연구는 뇌졸중 환자의 일상생활활동 수행능력을 측정하기 위해 사용된 평가도구를 체계적으로 고찰하였다. 연구 결과 FIM, BI와 같은 특정한 도구가 많이 사용되었다. 앞으로는 평가도구의 특성에 맞춰 적절한 평가가 이루어 질 수 있도록 다양한 평가도구를 사용한 연구가 진행되어 근거기반의 작업치료를 뒷받침 해 주어야 한다. 또한 ICF 모델의 분류 기준 중 참여에 대한 평가도구의 개발이 이루어져야 할 것이다.

재료분리 평가정수(EIS)에 의한 재료분리 평가법의 제안 (Suggestion of Segregation Evaluation Method based on Evaluation Index for Segregation(EIS))

  • 국내 외에서는 건축물들이 고유동 및 고성능 콘크리트의 사용량이 증가되고 있는 추세이다. 그러나 고유동 고성능 콘크리트는 유동성 향상을 위해 고성능 감수제를 다량으로 사용할 경우 유동성은 향상되었을 망정 재료분리가 발생하여 콘크리트 구조물에 악영향을 미치게 된다. 이러한 콘크리트의 재료분리 저항성을 판정하기 위한 방법으로 육안관찰, 굵은골재 씻기 시험, L Flow 철근사이의 통과성 시험, 점성측정에 의한 방법 등이 있는데, 이 같은 방법들은 매우 복잡하고 번거로우므로 실무적용에는 어려움이 있다. 그러므로 콘크리트의 재료분리 저항성을 보다 손쉬운 방법으로 평가하기 위한 방법으로 슬럼프플로우치를 슬럼프치로 나눈 EIS를 제안하기 위하여 기존 참고자료를 바탕으로 분석하였다. 그 결과 고유동 콘크리트의 경우 시방적 규정으로 재료분리 여부를 관리할 경우에는 EIS 값을 2.5 이하로 규정하면 타당할 것으로 사료되고, 성능적으로 EIS를 규정할 경우에는 1등급 2,2 이하, 2등급 2.2$\sim$2.4, 3등급 2.4$\sim$2.6, 2.6 이상은 재료분리로 관리하면 합리적일 것으로 사료된다.

Photochemical Response Analysis on Drought Stress for Red Pepper (Capsiumannuum L.)

  • The aim of this study is to determine the drought stress index through photochemical analysis in red pepper (Capsiumannuum L.). The photochemical interpretation was performed in the basis of the relation between Kautsky effect and Photosystem II (PSII) following the measurement of chlorophyll, pheophytin contents, and $CO_2$ assimilation in drought stressed 5-week-old red pepper plants. The $CO_2$ assimilation rate was severely lowered with almost 77% reduction of chlorophyll and pheophytin contents at four days after non-irrigation. It was clearly observed that the chlorophyll fluorescence intensity rose from a minimum level (the O level), in less than one second, to a maximum level (the P-level) via two intermediate steps labeled J and I (OJIP process). Drought factor index (DFI) was also calculated using measured OJIP parameters. The DFI was -0.22, meaning not only the initial inhibition of PSII but also sequential inhibition of PSI. In real, most of all photochemical parameters such as quantum yield of the electron transport flux from Quinone A ($Q_A$) to Quinone B ($Q_B$), quantum yield of the electron transport flux until the PSI electron acceptors, quantum yield of the electron transport flux until the PSI electron acceptors, average absorbed photon flux per PSII reaction center, and electron transport flux until PSI acceptors per cross section were profoundly reduced except number of QA reducing reaction centers (RCs) per PSII antenna chlorophyll (RC/ABS). It was illuminated that at least 6 parameters related with quantum yield/efficiency and specific energy fluxes (per active PSII RC) could be applied to be used as the drought stress index. Furthermore, in the combination of parameters, driving forces (DF) for photochemical activity could be deduced from the performance index (PI) for energy conservation from photons absorbed by PSII antenna until the reduction of PSI acceptors. In conclusion, photochemical responses and their related parameters can be used as physiological DFI.

Development of algorithm for work intensity evaluation using excess overwork index of construction workers with real-time heart rate measurement device

  • Background: The construction workers are vulnerable to fatigue due to high physical workload. This study aimed to investigate the relationship between overwork and heart rate in construction workers and propose a scheme to prevent overwork in advance. Methods: We measured the heart rates of construction workers at a construction site of a residential and commercial complex in Seoul from August to October 2021 and develop an index that monitors overwork in real-time. A total of 66 Korean workers participated in the study, wearing real-time heart rate monitoring equipment. The relative heart rate (RHR) was calculated using the minimum and maximum heart rates, and the maximum acceptable working time (MAWT) was estimated using RHR to calculate the workload. The overwork index (OI) was defined as the cumulative workload evaluated with the MAWT. An appropriate scenario line (PSL) was set as an index that can be compared to the OI to evaluate the degree of overwork in real-time. The excess overwork index (EOI) was evaluated in real-time during work performance using the difference between the OI and the PSL. The EOI value was used to perform receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve analysis to find the optimal cut-off value for classification of overwork state. Results: Of the 60 participants analyzed, 28 (46.7%) were classified as the overwork group based on their RHR. ROC curve analysis showed that the EOI was a good predictor of overwork, with an area under the curve of 0.824. The optimal cut-off values ranged from 21.8% to 24.0% depending on the method used to determine the cut-off point. Conclusion: The EOI showed promising results as a predictive tool to assess overwork in real-time using heart rate monitoring and calculation through MAWT. Further research is needed to assess physical workload accurately and determine cut-off values across industries.

여성 관리자의 자기결정적 직무동기가 직무성과에 미치는 영향: 직무창의성과 창의적 자아효능감의 조절적 매개모형 (The Effects of Female Service Managers' Self-determined Motivations on Job Performance)

  • Purpose - Our primary goal of this study is to investigate the positive relationship between female managers' self-determined motivations (i.e., RAI: relative autonomy index) and job performances with the mediation of their job creativity in service industries. This study also examines the moderating role of creative efficacy on the relationship between female managers' self-determined motivations and creativities. Finally, based on mediation and moderation hypotheses, we also tested moderating effect of creative efficacy on the mediation effect of job creativity. Research design, data, and methodology - Drawing on SDT(Self-determination theory) and COR(conservation of resources) theories, we developed three research hypotheses. Service female managers from a several service organizations(i.e. banking, retailing, and restaurant/hospitality service) in South Korea were surveyed using self-administered instrument for data collection. A total of 331 usable questionnaires were obtained after list-wise deletion. To test reliability and validity of measurement model, we employed the CFA(confirmatory factor analysis) using M-plus 8.1 Software. Also, internal consistency was tested by Cronbach's α. We, furthermore, used the SPSS PROCESS MACRO 2.16, which was suggested by Hayes (2013; 2015), to test mediation, moderation, and moderated mediation. Results - Our results revealed that self-determined motivation and job performance were positively and fully mediated by job creativity. Furthermore, the positive relationship between female managers' self-determined motivations and job creativities was stronger when their creative self-efficacies were high than when it was low. In addition, female managers' creative self-efficacies also amplified the positive relationship between their self-determined motivations and job performances with the mediation of job creativity. Conclusions - Our research empirically elaborated the previous model of self-determined motivation and manager/female creativity literature by presenting the findings that female managers' self-determined motivations significantly influence their job performances via job creativity and that creative self-efficacy effectively strengthen these positive impacts. Also, our research offered new insight for practitioners (i.e. top service managers) by suggesting that they may enhance female service managers' job performance if they pay more attention to employee creativity in service marketing.
