We investigated the effect of both 4 types additives and $0.5wt\%\;Pb_3O_4$ which have been reported to show an improvement on the performance of Zinc anode. And Experimental methods such as corrosion potential measurement, potentiodynamic polorization test and charging-discharging cycle life test were carried out in $40 wt\%$ KOH with $Pb_3O_4(0.5, \;10\;&\;2.0wt\%)$ and 4 types additives $(0.4wt\%\;of\;Ca(OH)_2$, 0.025M of Citrate, Tartrate and Gluconate). Corrosion potential was shifted to high direction and also changed to high and low direction repeatedly with increasing of $Pb_3O_4$ quantity. However by adding $0.5wt\%\;Pb_3O_4$, corrosion potential shifted to low direction and showed stable condition. Furthermore it was well known that corrosion resistance was predominantly increased compared to no addition and improved charging-discharging property with adding additives. By SEM analysis, it was concluded that the morphology of surface in case of only $0.5wt\%\;Pb_3O_4$ addition was nearly the same as that of Tartrate additive and in the other additives such as $Ca(OH)_2$, Citrate, Tartrate and Gluconate, their morphologies showed dendrite growth. Eventually it was thought that the additive of Tartrate indicated comparatively good corrosion resistance effect as well as charging-discharging property improvement among those four types additives.
The amount of the contaminants that can be adsorbed on the drain was evaluated for the effective remediation of the contaminated soil, and the contaminants adsorptivity of the drain was evaluated by comparing the isothermal adsorption model after carrying out the contaminants adsorption test of the reactants coated on the surface of the drain. The reactant used in the experiment is a natural zeolite, and the contaminants are copper, lead and cadmium. The results that Freundlich and Langmuir adsorption isotherm model are compared to the adsorption amount according to the change of the initial concentration by the contaminants. As a result of the component analysis, because Si, Al and O are contained approximately 28%, 11% and 48%, respectively, it is identified that the material coated on the surface of the drain is the component of the zeolite which is the reactant for the adsorption of the heavy-metal (Cu, Pb, Cd) contaminants. The heavy-metal adsorption kinetic of the zeolite which is the reactant was decreased in order of lead, copper and cadmium. The important factor of the performance evaluation of the adsorbent is the reaction rate, and if zeolite is used as the reactant in the relationship between the maximum amount of adsorption and reaction rate, it can be utilized as the design factor that determine the removal order of the complex heavy-metal. In other words, because the maximum adsorption quantity of lead is smaller compared to copper but the reaction rate is relatively fast, it can be primarily removed, and copper can be removed after removing the lead. It was analyzed that Cadmium can be finally removed after that other heavy-metal is removed.
Deer antler tissue contains the most rapidly growing bone in the animal kingdom. Thus, it is likely that growing antler tissue is a rich source of local paracrine bone-stimulating factors. Growth factors, at least the insulin-like growth factor (IGF), control the bone-remodelling process. In this study, we tried to isolate and purify IGF-I from fresh antler tissue by the routine isolation and purification of protein. The purification involved ammonium sulfate precipitation, DEAE-Sepharose CL-60 ion-exchange chromatography, CM-Sepharose CL-6B ion-exchange chromatography, and Sephadex G-50 chromatography. Purified fractions from each step were analyzed by high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), SDS polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis (SDS-PACE), Dot-blot, and Western-blot methods. Furthermore, the quantification of partially purified IGF-I was calculated by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assays (ELISA) using antibody to human recombinant IGF-1. SDS-PAGE analysis of the final fraction yielded two molecular bands and the signal band was at 12 kDa on the Western-blot film. This purified IGF-I fraction showed a peak at retention time of eight min. The quantity of IGF-I in 20 g deer antler tissue as starting weight was calculated using a standard curve to be 2910 ng/ml, and total IGF-I amount is 0.291 g. The results show that IGF-I, which can be found in deer antler, can be partially purified and quantified by classic protein isolation methods.

Various types of ray-tracing methods are used to predict the quantity measures of radiation illumination, the uniformity of illumination, radiation performance of LCD BLU(Hack-Light Unit). The uniformity of radiation illumination is one of the most important design factor of BLU and is usually controlled by the diffusive-ink pattern printed on the bottom of light-guide panel of BLU. Therefore it is desirable to produce an improved (ideally, the optimal) ink pattern to achieve the best uniformity of radiation illumination. In this paper, we applied the Welder-Mead simplex-search method among various direct search method to compute the optimal ink pattern. Direct search methods are widely used to optimize the functions which are often highly nonlinear, unpredictably discontinuous, and nondifferentiable, The ink-pattern controlling the uniformity of radiation illumination is one type of these functions. In this paper, we found that simplex search methods are well suited to computing the optimal diffusive-ink pattern. In extensive numerical testing, we have found the simplex search method to be reasonably efficient and reliable at computing the optimal diffusive-ink pattern. The result also suggests that optimization can improve the functionality of simulation tools which are used to design LCD BLU.
The purpose of this research was to gain a better understanding of the characteristics of students' mathematical representations using additive strategy in ratio and proportion tasks. The additive strategy is the erroneous one used most often among the strategies reported in solving ratio and proportion tasks. It is a problem solving strategy that preserves the difference from one ratio to another. Students' additive strategies were categorized into four parts: subtracting without considering units of quantities, comparing the numbers that represent the whole subtracted from the part and same part, adding the difference, and subtracting the difference. In order to change from additive strategy to multiplicative strategy, the researcher asked to find out the unit quantity and found the characteristics of students' mathematical notations in the following: Firstly, the students made the number which they wanted by multiplying and adding same numbers. Secondly, they represented the mid-points between natural numbers. Thirdly, they related $a{\div}b$ to decimal number, not $\frac{a}{b}$. Fourthly, they were inclined to divide the larger number with the smaller number without understanding the context of the problem. These results are interpreted as showing that lower level of performance in the dividing operation with the notations of fraction hinders the transformation from additive strategy to multiplicative strategy.
Recently, MR Cholangiography used mainly bu controlling of patient's breathing. There is breathing hold techniques to get images within shopt time and gating technique adjusted to respiration cycle for high resolution image. In this study, the aim of this experiment is to know on clinical usefulness compared with PACE and RTG thchniques. This study's period is from 2006 in November to 2007 in January. A total of 21 patients investigated at MAGNETOM Sonata 1.5T (SIEMENS Erlangen) with use of 12ch body coil. MR acquisition protocol used 3D turbo spin echo coronal sequence. Scan parameters applied to potimal setting in use as gating techniques, respectively. Analysis of consuming timing evaluated with rapidness. As analysis of quantity, the common bile duct, gall bladder measured in signal intensities, then these data were calculated by signal to noise ratio and contrast to noise ratio. Qualitative analysis, experienced 2radiologists and 3 RTs were evaluated into 3groups about artifact, accuracy of lesions, sharpness of the common bile duct or gall bladder. As a result of analysis, when compared to PACE, consuming time of the RTG took less than PACE, On both CNRs and SNRs, PACE technique was slightly high values than RTG(p<0.05). Qualitative analysis' results, discrimination of lesions in the common bile duct, gall bladder get a significance level in both RTG and PACE techniques but presence's artifact of breathing and pulsation highly demonstrate in PACE techniques. In conclusion, both PACE and RTG methods at MRCP provided prominently clinical information for the common bile duct, gall bladder. If machines have not limitation with performance, induction of breathing holding also will help getting diagnistic quality.
In this paper, it has been studied about the CRCO to maintain or rehabilitate the aged JCP. The CRCO and JCO was constructed at useless section of Seo-Hae-Ahn express highway in South Korea. The performance evaluation was conducted. Especially, it was focused on the roll of longitudinal reinforced steels inserted into the CRCO. On crack survey results from field construction section, the reflection cracks at joint of the existing pavement occurred in CRCO. However, due to the constraints of longitudinal reinforced steels, crack width was small. Total crack length and quantity in the CRCO more than that in the JCO. And crack spacing in the CRCO was narrower than it in the CRCP. Through the bonding strength test results, if the cold milling and cleaning as well as surface treatment is applied, there will be no debonding problem at interlayer in the early age. From analysis of the horizontal behavior at the joint, the longitudinal reinforced steels constrained crack width which became wider than initial state over time. Also, that steel in the CRCO reduced the horizontal movement due to temperature variation(4 times than that in the JCO). But, if interface is debonded, the roll decreased. Vertical VWG data showed that CRCO did not occur debonding problem at steel location, but there was some problem in JCO. It was confirmed by field coring. The tensile strain appeared in the CRCO, But the compressive strain occurred in the JCO in early age. Through the FWD test result, deflection in the CRCO was less than that in the JCO. And K value in the CRCO was greater than it in the JCO.

With a trend of the utilization of computer vision for satellite images, cloud detection using deep learning also attracts attention recently. In this study, we conducted a U-Net cloud detection modeling using SPARCS (Spatial Procedures for Automated Removal of Cloud and Shadow) Cloud Dataset with the image data augmentation and carried out 10-fold cross-validation for an objective assessment of the model. Asthe result of the blind test for 1800 datasets with 512 by 512 pixels, relatively high performance with the accuracy of 0.821, the precision of 0.847, the recall of 0.821, the F1-score of 0.831, and the IoU (Intersection over Union) of 0.723. Although 14.5% of actual cloud shadows were misclassified as land, and 19.7% of actual clouds were misidentified as land, this can be overcome by increasing the quality and quantity of label datasets. Moreover, a state-of-the-art DeepLab V3+ model and the NAS (Neural Architecture Search) optimization technique can help the cloud detection for CAS500 (Compact Advanced Satellite 500) in South Korea.
A noticeable aspect of Korean firms' outward sequential FDIs to China is that they occur sequentially, which means that they implement the outward FDIs to China with a long-term perspective. To analyze the strategic advantages of sequential investment, we introduce Cournot type quantity competition model. According to the model, three important implications are derived. First, sequential FDIs enhances the Korean parents' production capabilities. Second, the parents are more likely to establish new Chinese subsidiaries as they stay longer in China. Third, the production effect of sequential investments incurs more sequential investments. Some regression models are tested for verifying the predictions. According to empirical results, three important results are found. First, initial entry mode affects the size expansion of the Korean parents. Second, the longer the duration of intial subsidiary in China, the more the sequential investment will be. Third, sequential investments are positively associated with the productivity of the Korean parents.
