Space development has been led by the state due to huge investment, risks of development failure, and restrictions on international cooperation on technology development and transfer. For this reason, it has been developed mainly by some advanced countries and industrial network formed among them. However, Korean space industry is being promoted by the successful launch of 'KSLV-I' and 'CAS 500-I' and the space launch vehicle "KSLV-II" under development. Recently, Korea and U.S. agreed to end bilateral missile guidelines. Therefore it is expected that development of Korean space industry will be accelerated due to the disappearance of the constraining factors for the development of space launch vehicles. Accordingly, this study examined the development and formation of the Korean space industry through the framework of network analysis. Based on this, the effect of structural position in the industrial network as a resource on the performance of Korean space companies was examined. Panel analysis was applied. Through this study, ideas for fostering the domestic space industry and implications for national policy related with building an industrial ecosystem are derived. It contributes to the development of space industry in Korea.

The purpose of this study was to investigate job stressors, job stress symptoms, and job performance of workers in fashion industry. The data were obtained from questionnaire completed by 529 workers who were employed in textile or clothing manufactures located in Seoul, Daegu, Busan, and Masan area. The SPSS package was used for data analysis which included frequency, mean, correlation, and factor analysis. Job stressors consisted of environmental related stressors, job related stressors(task characteristics and role characteristics) and organization related stressors(organization climate and career development). Most of job stressors were significantly correlated with job stress symptoms but their correlation coefficients were low. Among job stressors, quantitative work overload was found to be a major stressor. Workers in fashion industry appeared to evaluate their job performance relatively good. Also, it was found that behavioral and psychological symptoms were negatively correlated with job performance.

The Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) sector is undergoing a fundamental transformation. Determinant factors in this transformation process are deregulations and technological advancements. From the value chain perspective, industry convergence plays the most crucial role in the transformation of the established telecommunications and media industries. The objective of this paper is to validate the impact of convergence on the business performance using empirical data. To identify the various effects driven by industry convergence, we analyzed the relationships between firm's degree of convergence and the business performance using regression analysis. From the empirical result with the 2002-2005 data, it was found that the convergence across ICT sectors improves the business performance measured by Tobin's q significantly and this is only a recent phenomenon. These results are consistent with the conjecture that higher degree of convergence is becoming more associated with higher market value.

There is a belief that timely and precise data are important to decisions and the better decisions are related to better firm performance. However, empirical research investigating the effect of data quality on firm financial performance is still scarce up to recently. Current study empirically explores such an effect of data quality on firm accounting performance in the Korean manufacturing industry during 2008~2010 with secondary data. The results show that better data quality does not impact on sales and operating profit, but positively and significantly impacts on EVA(Economic Value Added). Raising the level of data quality management maturity by one level can increase EVA by about 34% in manufacturing firms.

The purpose of this research is to investigate the current state of e-commerce for corporations in the steel industry and to analyze the factors that led failure in active use of e-commerce. Data from 51 companies are col looted. Factors that affect the e-commerce adoption and use of were analyzed. The influence of e-commerce utilization on corporate performance was also examined. It was found that several factors known to influence e-commerce use in the steel industry such as transact ion methods, preferences, and the level of information-orientation, did not actually have a significant impact. Rather items such as the maturity of e-commerce experience and perceptual compatibility between product characteristics and e-commerce turned out to have a significant influence on the utilization levels of e-commerce. The level of e-commerce utilization in system had a significant impact on each of the three performance dimensions : internal performance, external performance and financial performance.

The purpose of this study were to investigate a preference and demand performance of UV protective hat for outdoor sports activities. Data collected from 259 adults from survey were analyzed by frequence analysis, crosstabs, t-test, and ANOVA using SPSS 17.0. The results are as follows. A demand performanc of UV protective hats were a demand performance for designs, colors, fabrics, lightness, UV protection, and easy care. It showed that the respondents worn the hats for skin health and didn't wear for sun block. The demand performance of UV protective hat showed difference according to gender and age. The favorite type of UV protective hat was cap, and there was no difference between young and old age. Male preferred the cap styles, while female preferred the wide brim styles for UV protection. The preferred fiber contents of the respondents were cotton and functional fiber.

Social capital is a sociological concept, which refers to connections within and between social networks. Social capital explains the importance of using social connections and social relations in achieving goals. Social capital such connections and relations, is critical along with environmental dynamism and organizational characteristics in achieving goals for firm's performance. This paper draw the taxonomy of social capital and then analyzed the relationship of firm's performance, environmental dynamism and organizational characteristics such as innovative culture. The empirical results using 134 game corporations in Korea showed that the configuration between taxonomy of social capital was significantly related to organizational structure and innovative culture. And second, the taxonomy of social capital is significantly related to firm's performance.

There have been so many studies related to job stress or musculoskeletal disorders(MSDs) in the shipbuilding industry. However, study of employee performance evaluation that reflect on the industrial features of the deckhouse manufacturing industry has not been established. Therefore, this study aimed to evaluate workers' job stress and work ability through statistical significance tests according to age, work types, years of service, work forms and sex. For this, the study conducted a job stress test using the Korean Occupational Stress Questionnaire Short Form, and employee performance evaluations using the Work Ability Index(WAI) of the Finnish Institute of Occupational Health (FIOH) on 536 workers in the deckhouse manufacturing industry. MINITAB statistics program was used for statistics analysis and significance was verified with the Kruskal-Wallis test, a corporate body of nonparametric statistical analysis. As a result, employee performance had significant differences, depending on age, work types, years of service and sex, and job stress also depended on the number of service year and work form. Additionally, it was found that employee performance decreased more as job stress increased.

The creative industry has an important role in economic development, but creative economy entrepreneurs still face many problems in business development and sustaining their businesses. The purpose of the study is to investigate the effect of entrepreneurship orientation, innovative product advantages, and social network quality on business performance to help companies stay competitive. The research uses a quantitative approach with the population being the owner of the creative industry in Semarang City, Central Java, Indonesia. The sampling technique used is convenience sampling, obtained as many as 126 creative industry owners. Data was analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS). The findings of this study show that entrepreneurial orientation, innovative product advantage, and social network quality have a positive effect on the business performance of the creative industry in Semarang City, Central Java, Indonesia. According to the study, a company with superior resources can win the competition and achieve business sustainability. When compared to competing organizations, the benefits of resources and competitive ability will create a competitive edge. As a result, stakeholders such as the government, the corporate sector, and universities are expected to play a larger role in accelerating the growth and development of creative industries.
