Background: This study aimed to examine the effectiveness of role-play in dental hygiene education by analyzing learners' perceptions and experiences of role-play classes. Methods: Role-play was used as a teaching method to run dental medical communication and practice classes for 31 3rd graders in the Department of Dental Hygiene to investigate the learner's perception of role-play classes, effectiveness of the classes, and learner's perception of the experience. The Mann-Whitney U test was used to analyze the differences in learners' perceptions of the role-play classes according to the main characteristics related to dental health communication education. Results: The correlation coefficient between awareness of dental communication education (4.74 ± 0.35) and awareness of role-play classes (4.44 ± 0.48) was an Rs of 0.634, showing a significant positive correlation (p<0.001). Conclusion: Learners recognized that dental hygiene communication competency is important for dental hygienists. In addition, a strategic teaching design is necessary to reduce the learner's burden on role-play considering the learner's experience, which is perceived as a disadvantage of role-play

The purpose of this study was to suggest strategies for effective food allergen labeling in order to prevent food allergies in school meal service. Food allergy experience, eating behavior, and perceptions of food allergen labeling in school meal service were surveyed and compared according to the food allergy experiences of middle school girls in Incheon. Seventy-eight students (17% of total subjects) experienced food allergies. For eating behaviors, students with food allergy experience had significantly higher scores for using nutritional knowledge in their life than inexperienced subjects. For the perception of food allergen labeling in school meal service, girls who had experienced food allergies more often checked labeling of school meals for allergenic foods than those who had no experience of food allergies (P<0.001). The most desirable method for displaying allergenic foods was an indication of the allergenic food name among students who had experienced food allergies and allergenic food number of the current method for students who had not experienced food allergies (P<0.001). Students who had not experienced food allergies showed significantly lower interest in food allergen labeling than subjects who had experienced food allergies (P<0.001). For the importance score of information items in nutrition labeling, allergenic food score was significantly higher in students who had experienced food allergies (3.9 vs. 3.4 points, P<0.001). These results indicate that students who have experienced food allergies are more interested in food allergen labeling of school meals and that they are more aware. Efforts to improve labeling method such as directly labeling allergenic food name and a more visible indication are required for efficient utilization of food allergen labeling in school meal service.

본 연구는 일부지역사회에서 성인을 대상으로 구강건강관리행태와 계속구강건강관리 경험정도를 알아보고자 하였다. 연구결과 연령이 증가할수록 계속구강건강관리 경험이 유의하게 높게 나타났으며, 연령이 증가함에 따라 구강건강관리에 대한 관심이 더욱 높아짐을 확인할 수 있다. 보조구강위생용품을 사용하는 군에 계속구강건강관리 경험이 유의성 있게 높게 나타났다(p<0.05). 정기적 치과를 방문하는 사람은 계속구강건강관리 경험이 높게 나타났다(p<0.05). 또한 예방치과서비스를 경험한 군이 계속구강건강 관리에 관련성이 높게 나타났다. 이 연구의 결과를 토대로 계속구강건강관리에 대한 경험과 영향을 분석함으로써 임상 치위생분야에서 계속구강건강관리 프로그램을 구성할 때 필요한 기초자료로서 활용될 수 있을 것이라 보인다.

Objectives This study sets out to examine treatment experiences of child patients with night crying based on the traditional Korean medicine. Also, the study traces the process in which clients chose traditional Korean medicine treatment, and proposes a possible future direction of Korean medicine treatment. Methods The investigator conducted a semi-standardized open-ended question interview with two main fosterers of a child who received traditional Korean medicine treatment for night crying, and examined two fosterers' experiences of a child with the traditional Korean medicine treatment. Their interviews were recorded with their facial expressions and acts for analysis. Collected data was analyzed based on the Grounded theory. Results The participants felt a sense of responsibility, worry, and fear for their children with night crying. They had easy access to traditional Korean medicine doctors who were in the community and had positive experiences with traditional Korean medicine treatment. They reported that some people had been forced to use traditional Korean medicine, had misunderstandings about traditional Korean medicine, and had prejudice that night crying is not a disease. They felt there was a room for improvement in terms of the high medical expenses and the absence of a cooperative system between Oriental and Western medicine. Conclusions As the first qualitative study on night crying based on the traditional Korean medicine treatment, this study proposed a future direction for traditional Korean medicine treatment for night crying in the shoes of fosterers. The findings showed that the fosterers chose traditional Korean medicine treatment for night crying child based on their feelings, accessibility and experiences with traditional Korean medicine. Fosterers felt a need for improvement of the general public's perceptions about Korean medicine treatment on night crying, and a cooperative system between Oriental and Western medicine.

본 연구의 목적은 미래학교 연구학교인 C 중학교의 스마트 기기를 활용한 과학 수업이 과학긍정경험과 과학 학습자 정체성에 미치는 영향을 살펴보기 위함이다. 이를 위하여 미래학교 1학년 학생들을 대상으로 입학 당시와 1학년을 마무리하는 시점에 과학긍정경험(Shin et al., 2017)을 탐색하기 위하여 대응표본 t 검증을 실시하였다. 또한 1학년과 2학년 학생들에게 과학 수업에서의 나의 이미지를 그림으로 그리고 간단히 그림에 대해 서술하도록 하여 수정·보완된 분석틀(Luehmann, 2009)에 의거하여 스마트 기기를 활용한 미래학교의 과학 수업에서 학습자 정체성을 살펴보았다. 연구 결과 스마트 기기를 활용한 과학 수업을 통해 과학관련 진로포부, 과학관련 자아개념, 과학학습 정서에서 유의미한 효과가 나타났다. 스마트 기기를 활용한 과학 수업은 주체성과 능동성의 수준을 향상시키고, 즉각적이고 충분한 피드백을 통해 궁금한 것을 해결하고, 과학의 본성에 대한 의미 있는 인식을 경험하는데 도움을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 반면, 스마트 기기를 사용하는데 미숙한 학생들은 수업 시간에 적지 않은 부담감을 느끼는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구 결과는 향후 이루어질 스마트 기기를 활용한 다양한 수업 맥락을 구상하는데 기초 자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

본 연구의 목적은 대학생활 동안 이성 친구와의 교제를 통해 어떠한 인식의 변화를 경험했는지에 대한 내용을 분석하여 의미있는 주제를 파악하기 위함이다. 연구방법은개인이 경험한 내용을 심층적으로 파악하기 위해 현상학적 분석 방법을 적용한 질적 연구이다. 연구 참여자는 C 대학교 3, 4학년으로 구성되어 있으며 이성 친구를 사귀어본 경험이 있는 대상자 중 자발적으로 연구 참여에 동의하는 자 18명을 대상으로 면담을 실시하여 최종 자료를 분석하였다. 본 연구 결과에서는 이성 간의 교제를 통해 경험한 내용이 5개의 주제로 '남녀역할에 대한 인식 변화', '의사소통의 영역 이해', '갈등 해결 능력의 강화', '감정조절 행동 변화', '인격의 성숙' 등으로 나타났다. 본 연구에서 나타난 대학생 시기의 이성교제의 경험은 다양한 긍정적 의미와 강점을 포함하고 있으며 이러한 경험은 추후 개인의 삶의 질을 높일 수 있는 기회이고, 이러한 경험을 통해 강화된 능력은 사회생활의 적응과정에서 강점으로 적용될 수 있다고 파악된다. 이에 본 연구의결과는 대학생 시기에 이성과의 친밀한 관계는 개인의 삶에 긍정적 결과를 가져올 수 있을 뿐만 아니라 다양한 영역에서의 역량이 개발 될 수 있다는 이론적 근거를 제시하고자 하는데 그 의의가 있다.

본 연구는 목적은 초보어머니의 건강한 임신에 대한 인식과 경험 및 요구를 알아보는 것이다. 연구목적을 위해 첫 자녀를 임신하거나 12개월 미만의 자녀를 양육하는 초보어머니 10명을 선정하여 포커스 그룹 인터뷰를 실시했다. 연구결과를 살펴보면 첫째, 초보어머니들은 '건강한 임신'에 대해 '어머니와 태아가 신체적으로 건강한 임신', '어머니가 정신적으로 건강하고 행복한 임신', '부부가 함께 계획하고 준비한 임신'으로 인식했다. 둘째, 초보어머니들의 임신과 출산을 위한 준비는 '임신 전 산부인과 검진', '임신 후 건강과 일과 관리 준비', '현실적 여건 대비'인 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 초보어머니들이 임신 중 경험한 힘들었던 점은 '입덧과 신체적 변화'와 '심리·정서적 변화'로 인한 어려움이었다. 넷째, 초보어머니들의 건강한 임신을 위한 지원에 대한 요구는 '임신으로 인한 심신의 변화에 대한 사전 교육'과 '임신 전 산과 상담 지원'인 것으로 나타났다.

Objectives : To explore the experiences of patients with chronic low back pain(CLBP) in a randomized controlled trial(RCT) of acupuncture. Methods : Five qualitative focus group interviews were conducted at three Korean Medicine Hospitals. Two to 4 participants from the same group(real or sham acupuncture) in the RCT of acupuncture for CLBP discussed their experiences and perceptions of the clinical trial and the acupuncture treatment. Transcribed data were read independently by researchers and analyzed to categorize information and identify themes. Results : A total of 14 participants were included. Most of them discovered positive aspects of being a study subject and a patient. They recognized the differences between experimental and real-world clinical settings such as formal procedures of treatment, and different acupuncture device. Participants also expressed the weaker sensation of acupuncture compared to the previous experience. Especially, they were well aware of the 'subjects' role themselves, thus they observed their changes of symptom closely. As subjects were generally satisfied with their treatment and they had a good feeling to acupuncture after the trial, they expressed their willingness to participate in the future clinical trial of acupuncture. Conclusions : Our finding suggests that the Korean patients' experience of participating in an RCT was generally positive. Their tendency to perform the 'subject' role might affect the trial's process or overall results.

본 연구는 기혼 유자녀 맞벌이 남성의 부성역할 수행 경험을 탐색하는 것으로 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 심층면담과 문서를 활용하여 자료를 수집하였으며, 맞벌이 아버지 10명이 연구에 참여하였다. 자료수집은 2012년 9월부터 12월 사이에 이루어졌으며, 수집된 자료는 분석적 귀납에 근거한 지속적 비교분석방법을 사용해 분석하였다. 자료의 분석결과 참여자들은 바람직한 아버지 상에 대한 인식과 실제적인 역할 수행의 불일치, 생계부양자와 돌봄 제공자 역할 수행으로 인한 긴장, 그리고 자녀에 대한 헌신과 직업적 성취욕구 간의 갈등을 경험하고 있었으며, 이러한 갈등은 점진적으로 가족 의사소통과정에서의 소외라는 결과를 가져왔다. 이를 토대로 아버지의 적극적인 가족생활 참여를 지원하기 위한 사회적 인식 제고방안과 함께 가족, 노동시장, 지역사회, 그리고 정부 차원의 다각적인 접근과 제도의 운영을 제안하였다.

This comprehensive study delves into the analysis of user review data across various metaverse platforms, employing advanced text mining techniques such as TF-IDF and Word2Vec to gain insights into user perceptions. The primary objective is to uncover the factors that contribute to user satisfaction and dissatisfaction, thereby providing a nuanced understanding of user experiences in the metaverse. Through TF-IDF analysis, the research identifies key words and phrases frequently mentioned in user reviews, highlighting aspects that resonate positively with users, such as the ability to engage in creative activities and social interactions within these virtual environments. Word2Vec analysis further enriches this understanding by revealing the contextual relationships between words, offering a deeper insight into user sentiments and the specific features that enhance their engagement with the platforms. A significant finding of this study is the identification of common grievances among users, particularly related to the processes of refunds and login, which point to broader issues within payment systems and user interface designs across platforms. These insights are critical for developers and operators of metaverse platforms, suggesting a focused approach towards enhancing user experiences by amplifying positive aspects. The research underscores the importance of continuous improvement in user interface design and the transparency of payment systems to foster a loyal user base. By providing a comprehensive analysis of user reviews, this study offers valuable guidance for the strategic development and optimization of metaverse platforms, ensuring they remain responsive to user needs and continue to evolve as vibrant, engaging virtual environments.
