Background & objectives: Understanding the awareness of policy targets and implementers about safety in the local community is the crucial to establish a systematic community safety policy. The purpose of this study was to identify the perception of local citizens and civil servants regarding community safety and its related factors. Methods: For achieving this research goal, this study conducted survey targeting 538 citizens and 404 civil servants in S-si, Kyunggi-do. Self-administred and web-based survey were used to collect data from April 1^st to 16^th 2021. Results: Civil servants scored higher in community safety perception than citizens, and S city's safety interest, information, and participation scores were also higher than those of citizens. Based on the results of multiple regression, thought about in interest of safety in S-si, providing and sharing about safety information to citizens, and participation of community safety policy were significantly associated with perception of community safety. Conclusions: Setting safety as the top priority in S city policy and paying attention to safety by the mayor, public officials, and city council members is an important way to raise citizens' awareness of local safety. Also, efforts at the city level are needed to foster safety knowledge through systematic education on safety.

본 연구의 목적은 지역사회 인식이 청소년의 삶의 질을 예측하는 경로과정에서 사회적 위축과 공동체 의식의 매개효과를 검증하는 것에 있다. 제시한 연구목적의 검증을 위해, 본 연구는 한국청소년정책연구에서 배포한 아동·청소년패널(KYPS) 4차년도 자료에서 고교 1년생 총 2,000명을 연구대상으로 추출하였다. 본 연구는 분석방법으로 AMOS 18.0의 구조방정식 모형(SEM)이 적용되었으며, 매개경로의 유의도 검증을 위해 sobel test 방식을 응용하였다. 제시한 연구방법을 통해 도출된 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 지역사회 인식이 청소년의 삶의 질을 설명하는 적접경로의 효과성이 검증되었다. 둘째, 지역사회 인식이 사회적 위축과 공동체 의식을 매개하는 간접경로의 효과성이 검증되었다. 이러한 연구결과를 기반으로 하여, 본 연구는 청소년의 삶의 질을 위한 개입방법과 후속 연구를 위한 제안점을 제시하였다.

The purposes of this study were to investigate the perception of community nutrition programs and the conditions to carry them out, for 32 directors of health centers where public health nutritionists are not employed. The results of this study can be summarized as follows. Nutrition intervention programs were not carried out actively except those for infants but the health center directors strongly felt the necessity of carrying out various nutrition programs. The factors that affect the selecting and priotizing of nutrition programs were the need of community residents, the perception of the local congressmen, and the head of the local government. The most urgent and important problem to be solved in order to intervene nutrition programs was employing public health nutritionists on a tenure basis. Other were securing necessary revenue, precise guidance, political support, hardwares, etc. These results showed the importance of employing public health nutritionists for intervening appropriate nutrition programs and improving the perception of nutrition services for health center directors, local congressmen and personnels in charge of formulating nutrition policies.

Responsible tourism attracting worldwide attention has supported local economy and community development as a type of alternative tourism. This study explored the perception toward fairness in tourism and operation status of responsible tour operators in South Korea by conducting in-depth interviews with probe questions. Ten responsible tour operators were interviewed with a semi-structured interview questionnaire for one upto two hours. From the interview data, six themes were identified as difficulties of responsible tour operators: lack of manpower, advertising and promotion, absence of marketing strategy, regulation, lack of budget and lack of recognition of responsible tourism. As government support identified through the interviews, there are the followings seven themes: a low entry barrier market, investment in human resources, resource utilization, community-based policies, connection with local produce, community support and connection system of responsible travel agencies with intermediate support organizations at a local level, The findings of this paper implicate the underlying subject of responsible tourism from a tour operators' perspective.

This study is an analytical study of changes in the perception of Covid-19 communities and surveyed residents aged 20 or older living in 00-gun, Gyeongsangbuk-do, to identify community awareness (anxiety, stability, economic problems, and director's intention) after COVID-19. As a result of analyzing community perception (anxiety about COVID-19, stability, economic problems, and intention to move) according to gender, age, and family specificity, the survey subjects showed the highest anxiety about COVID-19 among community perception with 4.94, followed by stability 3.92, director's intention 3.51, and economic problem 3.21. primarily aims to find ways to contribute so that residents can restore trust in the local community, rebuild healthy families, and settle down in their daily lives.

본 연구의 목적은 경상북도 유일의 예술영화관인 안동중앙극장이 지역문화자원으로써 지역민들에게 어떻게 인식되고 있는지를 분석한 것이다. 이를 위하여 지역문화자원 관련 선행연구 조사와 안동중앙극장 및 예술영화관 관련 자료를 토대로 지역문화자원과 안동중앙극장의 기능을 분석하고 상관성을 검토하여 지역문화자원으로써 안동중앙극장의 인식을 위한 분석틀을 설정하였다. 제안된 분석틀을 토대로 지역문화자원으로서 안동중앙극장에 대한 인식을 문화·예술향유로서의 인식, 역사성으로서의 인식, 관광지로서의 인식, 커뮤니티형성으로서의 인식이라는 네 가지로 구분하였다. 연구 결과 안동중앙극장은 지역문화자원의 세 가지 기능인 정체성, 전통성, 공동체성을 갖고 있다고 판단되며, 이에 따라 안동중앙극장은 지역의 문화자원으로써 기능을 하고 있음을 알 수 있다. 따라서 지역의 문화자원들은 단독으로 존재하기보다는 그 지역의 역사와 주변 환경의 흐름 속에서 기능을 수행하고 있었다. 안동중앙극장 역시 지역문화자원으로써 지역의 역사성을 지키며 문화예술의 향유공간이자 관광지로서, 대중과 소통하는 문화 공간으로써 그 기능을 하고 있다. 추후 안동중앙극장이 지역문화자원으로서 지속적으로 역할을 할 수 있는 구체적 방안에 대한 연구가 이어지길 기대한다.

본 연구는 중요한 사회적 문제로 주목받고 있는 학교폭력을 예방하고 감소시키기 위해 범죄예방환경설계에 대한 지역 주민의 인식을 분석하여 적절한 커뮤니티 CPTED 적용 방안을 찾아보는데 그 목적이 있다. 먼저, 학교 외부의 학교 폭력 발생 가능 장소를 유형화하기 위하여 계층적 군집분석을 사용하고 지역 주민의 인식을 지도화했다. 다음으로 학교폭력 예방에 대한 커뮤니티 CPTED 적용의 중요성과 그것을 적용했을 때의 효과성에 대한 지역 주민의 인식을 분석하기 위하여 IPA를 사용하였다. 그리고 학교폭력으로부터 학교 외부가 안전하다고 생각하는지에 대한 지역 주민들의 인식을 분석하기 위하여 순서형로짓모형을 이용한 실증분석을 하였다. 세 분석의 결과를 통합하여 학교 외부 공간에서 학교폭력 예방을 위한 커뮤니티 CPTED 적용의 우선순위를 도출할 수 있었다. 학교폭력을 학교 주변에서 효과적으로 근절시키기 위한 커뮤니티 CPTED 적용에 있어서 지역주민의 인식을 반영한다면, 속해 있는 커뮤니티가 학생들에게 안전한 환경을 제공한다는 것으로부터의 커뮤니티 구성원의 만족도가 증가할 수 있다.

Ports play a key role in international trade, as integral hubs where passengers and cargoes are loaded, discharged, and transshipped. However, the function of ports is becoming more diversified, expanding on roles as industrial clusters, as well as logistical centers. Such roles combined, reap numerous and significant benefits, mainly with growth of jobs and wealth creation, for the local population living in the city, and beyond. Citizens' awareness of the function and value of ports may not be positive, because of a range of negative factors such as emissions, noise, and road congestion, which can influence their perception. This study's contribution focuses on empirically evaluating the perception of Busan citizens of the local port, by applying Q methodology. The links connecting the port-city and local population, are assessed by identifying: 1) The level of awareness of the Busan citizens of the port; 2) Factors perceived as positive as well as factors perceived as negative by Busan citizens. There are four main factors, derived from the analysis: 1) Port functional knowledge; 2) Lack of social connectedness port-city; 3) Environmentally concerned and; 4) Absent port's ripple's effect. Policy recommendations suggest focusing on improving citizens' perception of the port, for each of the four main factors derived from the analysis.

Although the philosophy of sustainable community development does not give the cure-all solutions for the major problems faced in the communities, it is theoretically and practically recognized as a newly emerging paradigm toward community development theoretically and practically. However, more specific tasks and issues of sustainable community development remain unchallenged and descriptive statements. The main objective of this study was to find out the extensive community development practices through the review of current works in the area of sustainable community development indicator, local agenda 21 and the relative issues. The recommendations of this study were the following; 1) The sustainable community development indicators available in the community level should be selected. Also, how to integrate the objective condition and subjective perception in community development practices, and how to weigh the indicator item should be solved in order to compare and measure the implementation of community development works. 2) In relation to local agenda 21, how to secure the implementation mechanism is more important than the developing the local agenda 21. 3) The policies aimed to raise the resident's awareness, formation of community field, create community social capitals, and define strategies to the selective community development programs should be considered to make the philosophy of sustainable community development active in the field level.
