인터넷 쇼핑몰에서의 패션상품 구매의도 결정요인 (Discriminative Factors of Buying Intention in Fashion Internet Shopping)

  • The purposes of this study was to investigate discriminative factors of clothing buying intention on Internet shopping mall. The sample included 435 male(44.8%) and female(55.2% ) adults, and an instrument was developed based on previous studies. The statistical analysis used for this study were factor analysis, 1-test, and LISREL. The results of factor analysis showed that consumers evaluated apparel internet shopping attributes based on perceptional dimensions of internet shopping consisted of clothing quality and value. web service quality and value, and adoption of internet shopping. Each dimension has sub-factors as follows: (1) clothing quality was perceived as 'artistry' 'sociality' and 'practicality'. (2) web interface service quality was perceived as 'visuality', 'advantage', 'response', 'dependability' and 'buying-confidence'. (3) internet shopping adoption was perceived as 'usefulness' and 'convenience'. T-test revealed that consumer's buying intention, re-entry intention, and store attitude were differed concerning all sub-factors including 'usefulness' and 'convenience' in adoption of Internet shopping dimension. As a result of LISREL, clothing buying intention path model was set up as following path. (1) 'artistry', 'sociality' and 'practicality' of clothing quality affected clothing value perception positively. (2) 'visuality', 'advantage', 'response' and 'buying-confidence' of web service quality affected web service value perception positively. (3) clothing and web service value perception affected store attitude positively. (4) store attitude affected clothing buying intention positively. However, Adoption of Internet shopping dimension that was perceived as usefulness and convenience did not affect clothing buying intention path model. Therefore, consumers buying, intention model in internet circumstance could be used nearly the same as real market circumstance.

EMLA크림 도포가 소아암환자의 피하매몰 중심정맥포트 바늘삽입 시 통증인지와 통증반응에 미치는 영향 (Effects of EMLA Cream Application on Pain Perception and Pain Response of Children with Cancer During Implanted Venous Access Port Needle Insertion)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify effects of EMLA (Eutectic Mixture of Local Anesthetics) cream application on pain perception and pain response during insertion of implanted venous access port needle in children with cancer. Methods: From December 2010 to August 2011, at U university hospital, 20 patients scheduled for implanted venous access port needle insertion were recruited, and randomly assigned to receive either EMLA or a placebo cream 1 hour before the implanted venous access port needle insertion. While conducting needle insertion, changes in pulse and oxygen saturation on the pulse oxymeter monitor were measured and pain behavior reaction was also measured during needle insertion in the treatment room. After conducting needle insertion, self-reported pain reaction, and mothers' perception of the children's pain reaction were measured. Collected data were statistically processed using SPSS version 17.0 for Windows, and analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test. Results: Children's self-reported degree of pain, degree of pain as perceived by mothers and pain behavior reaction decreased significantly in the EMLA application group compared with the placebo group. Conclusion: Findings indicate that application of EMLA cream is effective in relieving pain in these children during implanted venous access port needle insertion.

Latent Profile Analysis of High School Students' Fire Safety Awareness

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the types of latent profiles of high school students' fire safety awareness and to identify the characteristics of related variables. For this purpose, a survey was conducted from March 22 to May 25, 2021 for 1054 high school students (male; 569, female; 485) in 3 cities, in Jeollabuk-do. The latent profile was analyzed using a scale consisting of 4 sub-factors: 'fire prevention', 'fire preparedness', 'indirect fire response', and 'direct fire response'. It was checked whether there were differences according to the inter-individual differences of the latent group. As a result of the analysis, fire safety awareness of high school students was classified into three latent profiles. The three groups were named 'High Perception Type', 'Moderate Perception Type', and 'Low Perception Type' according to their types. In fire safety awareness, there is a significant difference in the individual differences according to the gender and academic achievement of the latent profile. These results are meaningful as the first study to analyze the latent profile of high school students' fire safety awareness, and it is also meaningful to provide a useful basis for the contents and methods of customized fire safety education by identifying the tendencies of spontaneous groups and their fire safety awareness.

아이마라어 화자들의 한국어 발성유형 인지 연구 (A study on the perception of Korean phonation types by Aymara subjects)

  • The present study investigates the perception of Korean phonation types by native speakers of Aymara. Perception tests were conducted on two sets of Korean speech materials to determine correspondence between Korean and Aymara 3-way contrasts and to find out which of the consonantal and vocalic part of the syllable is more influential in the perception of Korean phonation types. A set of manipulated stimuli, as well as a set of 12 spontaneous words, were prepared for the tests. The first syllable of the 12 Korean bisyllabic words of 3 series of phonation types(Lenis, Aspirated, and Fortis) in 4 places of articulation were split into consonantal and vocalic parts. And then the two parts were combined to form 9 tokens of CV sequences respectively for each place of articulation. Native speakers of Aymara were forced to match Korean stimuli with one of the 15 Aymara words which represent 3 series of consonant types(plain, aspirated, and ejective) in 5 places of articulation(bilabial, alveolar, palatal, velar, and uvular). Results showed that the consonantal part is more influential than the vocalic part to the Aymara subjects' perception of Korean phonation types when the consonantal part is Aspirated in its phonation type, but the vocalic part is more influential than the consonantal part when the consonantal part is Lenis or Fortis in its phonation type. Response analysis showed that Aymara subjects tend to match Korean stops to Aymara ones in such a way that Lenis corresponds to aspirated, Aspirated to aspirated, and Fortis to plain.

Comparison of the Capability of proprioception perception between collegiate golfer and non-golfer

  • The purpose of this study was to verify prprioception perception and compare between collegiate golfers and non-golfers using tilting platform. Thirty golfers and twenty-eight non-golfers were participated. All participants were performed perception test on the tilting platform. Frequency analysis was performed using SPSS(ver. 24.0) to determine the perception response according to the grade, and performed using independent t-test. Most participants were perceived from $1^{\circ}$ to $2^{\circ}$ of slopes and perceived left-right slope than forward-backward slope. Repeated practice such as walking on the uneven ground or standing on sloped ground might help to improve proprioception perception. Future research using a tilting platform will be to develop the training program.

신규 간호사의 투약오류 인지 및 경험에 대한 조사 연구 (Perception and Experience of Medication Errors in Nurses with tess than One Year Job Experience)

  • Purpose: This study was carried out to investigate perception and experience of medication errors by nurses. Method: Data collection through a survey was performed using structured questionnaires over the period of September 1 to October 15, 2004. Questionnaire were delivered to 222 nurses from 15 hospitals; thereafter, 205 questionnaires were responded (i.e., 92% response rate). The subject in the study was a nurse who had been working in the hospital for less than one year. Results: The average perception rate was 87.5%. The perception rates of subjects in medication errors from four areas are 62% in wrong dosage form for drug administration, 61.5% in air into an IV set, 63% in crystals in an IV lines, and 83.5% in wrong time. The experience rates of subjects in medication errors from four areas are 85.5% in wrong time, 39.5% in wrong injection site, 34.5% in omission error, and 28% in wrong patient. Conclusion: The average perception rate and experience rates of medication errors were 87.5% and 23.5%, respectively. Education about the Five right in medication and knowledges about drugs would improve the perception of medication errors of nurses whose work experience is less than one year, and prevent them from medication errors.

The Effect of Driving Simulator Program on Elderly Drivers

  • The purpose of the present study was to present evidence for driving interventions for the elderly by conducting programs that can improve visual perception and cognitive function in a driving simulator for elderly drivers and analyse their effects. Three elderly subjects who were 65 years or older, did not have physical and cognitive impairments, and were able to drive themselves participated in the present study. A total of 12 intervention sessions, of which subjects participated in 10 sessions of nine different visual perception and cognitive function programs available in a driving simulator, were conducted and pre- and post-program assessments were conducted (two assessments in total). The assessments included the evaluation of visual perception, frontal lobe function, concentration, safe driving behaviour, and self-efficacy. The results showed positive effects of the driving simulator program on the visual perception, frontal lobe function, concentration, safe driving behaviour, and self-efficacy of all subjects. Changes in the simulator results showed remarkable improvement in the response evaluation, judgment evaluation, and predictive power evaluation, but showed difficulties in interference tasks and depth perception in common. The results showed positive effects of driving simulator training on the driving ability of the elderly, and consistent provision of such training is expected to improve the quality of life of the elderly by securing the safety of driving and actively supporting social participation.

From Recognition to Defense Responses in Rice Plant

  • When plants are infected by plant pathogens, rapid cell responses are initiated for further inhibition from fast invasion of pathogens. Hypersensitive response (HR) of plant is well known defense response stopping pathogenesis process through rapid cell death. However, informations on the signaling pathway from reception of pathogen by host plants to appropriate resistant responses are very limited to date. Efficient perception of infection by pathogens and well-programmed signalling mechanism for appropriate responses are important for survival of plants. Plant have developed a sophisticated network(s) of defense/stress responses, among which one of the earliest signalling pathways after perception (of stimuli) is the evolutionary conserved Rop GTPase and mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK) cascade.(중략)

어린이의 공감성립(共感成立)에 있어서의 요인분석(要因分析) (Several Factors Influencing on Children's Empathic Behavior)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the effects of both social-status and mode of stimulus-presentation on children's empathic behavior, where empathy is defined as either the comprehension and recognition of an affective state in stimulus persons (others) or the empathic response to that perception. Middle-and lower-class kindergarten children were presented with a series of either short-sentence stories or short-pictorial stories. The subjects were asked to indicate how the child in each situation felt by selecting a "happy", "sad", or "angry" face to complete the picture accompanying each story. Immediately following the first question, children were asked to state verbally how the child in the picture might feel. The main results were (1) The mean empathy scores for the comprehension and recognition of an affective state in others and the empathic response to that perception was higher in middle-class children than in lower-class children. (2) There were differences in empathy scores to the three affective situations, i.e. the mean score for both happiness and sadness was significantly greater than for aggression, and (3) The empathy scores in the pictorial-stories were greater than in the sentence-stories.

Cellular machinery for sensing mechanical force

  • For mechanical force to induce changes in cellular behaviors, two main processes are inevitable; perception of the force and response to it. Perception of mechanical force by cells, or mechanosensing, requires mechanical force-induced conformational changes in mechanosensors. For this, at least one end of the mechanosensors should be anchored to relatively fixed structures, such as extracellular matrices or the cytoskeletons, while the other end should be pulled along the direction of the mechanical force. Alternatively, mechanosensors may be positioned in lipid bilayers, so that conformational changes in the embedded sensors can be induced by mechanical force-driven tension in the lipid bilayer. Responses to mechanical force by cells, or mechanotransduction, require translation of such mechanical force-induced conformational changes into biochemical signaling. For this, protein-protein interactions or enzymatic activities of mechanosensors should be modulated in response to force-induced structural changes. In the last decade, several molecules that met the required criteria of mechanosensors have been identified and proven to directly sense mechanical force. The present review introduces examples of such mechanosensors and summarizes their mechanisms of action.
