The data were analyzed by Cronbach's ${\alpha}$, factor analysis, t test, ${\chi}^2$ test, ANOVA and Duncan's multiple range test, using SPSS program. The results were as follows. University students highly preferred black and gray color and deep tone on knitwear items, while they generally preferred blue and black color, and deep and pastel tone. The chromatic color combination was perceived as warm and conspicuous, but unattractive image. The achromatic color combination was perceived as cold and ordinary, but attractive image. • Thailand has a rapidly growing pharmaceutical sector, which is the eighth largest in the Asia-Pacific region and one of the largest and most developed among the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) countries. This study examines how to provide the most appropriate approach to enhance Thailand's pharmaceutical services to dispense medicine to end consumers. The main objective is to determine the most appropriate corporate image for Thai Pharmacy Retail Stores (PRSs) for entering the ASEAN market community. An exploratory mixed-method design characterized by qualitative and quantitative phases of data collection and analysis and the linking of data from these two separate data strands was adopted to conduct an in-depth interview with pharmacists and the owner of pharmacy retail stores as well as 405 respondents who had visited a pharmacy retail store and interacted with pharmacists during the previous year. The multiple linear regression (MLR) was applied to analyze the relative influences of perceived service quality and the cultural dimension on the corporate image. Findings reveal that the perceived service quality and cultural dimension contribute 50% towards the corporate image, and the perceived service quality had more effect than cultural dimension. This study mainly focuses on PRSs in Thailand, while the findings show other analyses concerning how to successfully create and promote an effective PRS image for ASEAN markets.

  • This study investigated foreign consumers' perceived brand image of Korean food by applying the factor analysis research method. Questionnaires were distributed to 600 foreigners visiting Korea, from September 1 to 21, 2008. A total of 416 questionnaires were returned, of which 70 unusable questionnaires were excluded and 346 were used in the final analysis. SPSS 12.0 was employed for the statistical analysis. According to the factor analysis results, the brand image of Korean food were classified into four factors, 'premium concerns', 'novelty concerns', 'health concerns', and 'popularity concerns', where 'health concerns' had the highest mean score among the factors. The results also showed that the respondents perceived Korean food as 'healthy' and 'organic', but not as 'feminine' or 'high-grade', particularly respondents who were Japanese and Chinese. Additionally, the respondents were divided into two groups by degree of preference for Korean food. No significant differences existed between the two groups except for the attribute 'family-oriented'. Overall, the results suggested that the representative brand image of Korean food is 'healthy', which also corresponds with recent food consumption trends and Korean food characteristics.

  • Branding strategy is important in the hyper-competitive luxury industry. In digitalized market environments, it is critical for luxury brands to transfer their established brand equity from the offline market to the online market. The purpose of this study is to examine the causal relationships between offline brand equity (i.e., brand awareness, brand image, and perceived quality)toward online consumer responses, including satisfaction and loyalty, in the context of luxury brands. In addition, this study investigates the moderating effects of offline brand trust on the relationship between offline brand equity and online satisfaction and loyalty. Data was collected via online surveys. For empirical validation of the proposed hypotheses, a structural equation modeling technique was employed. The results show that offline luxury brand awareness, brand image, and perceived quality have a positive effect on consumers' online satisfaction. Also, offline brand image has a positive effect on online consumer loyalty. The results indicate that there is a significant moderating effect of offline brand trust on the relationship between brand image and e-loyalty. The results of the present study provide implications for luxury brand managers and retailers to develop effective online sales strategies.

  • The purpose of this paper is to explore how the country-of-origin image mediates the effect of national stereotypes along two dimensions of perceived competence and warmth, on consumers' consumption behaviors, especially in today's environment, the capricious COVID-19 and the deepening and expanding "The Belt and Road" initiative. Research design, data, and methodology: After collecting 1500 primary data from twelve countries along the 21st - Century Maritime Silk Road, this paper conducts ANOVA and SEM in SPSS25.0 and AMOS 24.0 separately to analyze measurements, structural models, and hypotheses via using 1277 final samples. The mediation results illustrate the asymmetric dominance of the two dimensions of national stereotypes, indicating that the country-of-origin image shows the complementary mediation in the effect of perceived competence on purchase intention; whereas, the country-of-origin image holds the indirect-only mediation in the impact of perceived warmth on purchase intention. The results of the moderation show that the effect of country-of-origin image on purchase intention is more significant for consumers who perceive COVID-19 in China to be of lesser severity than those who believe it to be of higher severity. Based on the paper's results, some implications for practice and theory are highlighted.
