밤 외피 경도가 화염박피 특성에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Flame Peeling Characteristics on the Hardness of the Chestnut Shells)

  • It was intended to investigate that how hardness of chestnut shell affects the flame peeling characteristics of Korean Chestnut. Effects of the hardness on the flame peeling characteristics need to be found to establish the optimum drying conditions for chestnut of various cultivars, sizes and harvested years. The equation based on the hardness of the chestnut shells was developed. It was found that the flame peeling characteristics of the corresponding to the various drying conditions did not differ significantly to the groups with the same hardness. The flame peeling characteristics of the chestnut with the same hardness were not influenced by cultivars, size, and harvested year, The peeling ratio and the heating depth were increased by decrease of the hardness of the chestnut shells. On the other hand, the peeling ratio and the heating depth were increased as the flame temperature was increased with the same hardness. When the heating depth was limited to 2.1 mm regarding the process characteristics and the damage ratio, the proper hardness and peeling ratio of chestnut shells were 1,369.8 g/$\textrm{mm}^2$ and 83.9%, respectively, at the flame temperature of $700^{\circ}C$. And also 1,517.7 g/$\textrm{mm}^2$ and 80.7% at 75$0^{\circ}C$.

젖산과 글리콜산을 이용한 화학적 필링, 물리적 필링(다이아몬드 필링과 크리스탈 필링)에 따른 피부개선 효과 (Skin Improvement Effects of Chemical Peeling Using Lactic Acid and Glycolic Acid, and Physical Peeling Using Diamonds and Crystals)

  • 본 연구는 미용적인 피부 관리를 위해 대표적으로 사용되는 다양한 필링중 화학적인 필링과 물리적인 필링이 여성들의 피부 개선에 미치는 효과와 장단점을 확인하여 대상자의 피부상태에 따른 올바른 적용법을 알아보고자 하였다. 연구를 위하여 2011년 11월 1일부터 12월 27일까지 복합성 피부를 가진 여성 20명을 대상으로 조사를 실시하였고, 이 중 10명은 화학적 필링 군으로, 10명은 물리적 필링 군으로 나누었다. 실험은 6주 동안 주 1회 총 6회를 진행 하였고, 시술시 마다 피부측정기를 이용해 수분과 유분, 각질, 모공, 주름, 색소에 대해 측정하였다. 실험결과 화학적 필링군의 경우 글리콜산 필링과 젖산 필링 모두 보습에 효과적으로 나타났다. 물리적 필링군의 경우 크리스탈 필링은 주름에 더 효과적이었고, 다이아몬드 필링은 각질과 색소개선에 더 효과적이었다. 매체에 따른 필링의 효과를 비교해 본 결과 더 많은 항목에서 물리적 필링이 더 효과적으로 나타났으나, 수분과 유분의 변화는 화학적 필링이 더 효과적인 것으로 나타났다. 결론적으로 두 집단 간에 시행했던 필링의 효과가 큰 차이가 나지 않는다면 시술 시 자극이 적고 만족도가 높은 필링 시술을 받는 것이 효과적인 피부 관리법 이라고 볼 수 있을 것이다.

  • A major cause of premature debonding of tension face plates is shear peeling (Jones et al. 1988, Swamy et al. 1989, Ziraba et al. 1994, Zhang et al. 1995), that is debonding at the plate ends that is associated with the formation of shear diagonal cracks that are caused by the action of vertical shear forces. It is shown in this paper how side plated beams are less prone to shear peeling than tension face plated beams, as the side plate automatically increases the resistance of the reinforced concrete beam to shear peeling. Tests are used to determine the increase in the shear peeling resistance that the side plates provide, and also the effect of vertical shear forces on the pure flexural peeling strength that was determined in the companion paper. Design rules are then developed to prevent premature debonding of the plate ends due to peeling and they are applied to the strengthening and stiffening of continuous reinforced concrete beams. It is shown how these design rules for side plated beams can be adapted to allow for propped and unpropped construction and the time effects of creep and shrinkage, and how side plates can be used in conjunction with tension face plates.

습식 마늘박피 시스템 개발 (I) - 고압 플런저 펌프와 부채꼴 분사노즐을 이용한 박피 실험 - (Development of a Garlic Peeling System Using High-Pressure Water Jets (I) - Peeling tests with high-pressure plunger pumps and flat-spray nozzles -)

  • This research was conducted to test the feasibility of utilizing high-pressure water jets of over 1.0㎫ as a means of breaking and peeling garlic bulbs. High-pressure plunger pumps and flat-spray nozzles of varying orifice diameters and spray angles were utilized to supply water jets into a prototype peeling chamber made of transparent acrylic plates. Water jets were discharged from a total of six nozzles installed in such a way that three parallel nozzles face the other three. The cross-sectional area of the peeling chamber and the installation angle of the nozzles had critical effects on peeling performance. Small cross-sectional area was required so that total impact force of water jets on garlic could be increased. The optimum installation angles were around 4, 8, and 16$^{\circ}$ for the nozzles having 15, 40, and 65$^{\circ}$ spray angles, respectively. Best performance with 61.4% of completely-peeled garlics was obtained at a pressure of 1.94㎫ and a flow rate of 9.07 $\ell$/min for each nozzle. The peeling efficiency of the system was generally unsatisfactory due to the limited flow rate of the plunger pumps utilized. For better performance, it is recommended to increase flow rate while reducing operating pressure by utilizing other type of pumps.

밤의 박피를 위한 산 및 알카리 처리 효과와 물리적 특성 (Effects of Acid and Alkali Treatment for Chestnut Peeling and Its Physical Properties)

  • 밤의 효율적 박피 방법을 개발하기 위하여 산 및 알카리 처리에 의한 내피 및 외피의 박피효과를 조사하고, 밤의 형태학적, 물리적 특성을 조사하였다. 알카리 처리에 의한 밤 내피의 박피 정도는 4%, NaOH 15분 처리시 박피가 가장 잘 되었으며, 산처리에 의한 박피는 3% HCIO$_4$ 농도로 5$0^{\circ}C$에서 30분 처리시 박피가 가장 잘 되었다. 그러나 이러한 화학적 처리시 온도가 높아지고 처리시간이 길어질수록 색상, 경도 등의 품질저하가 나타나 낮은 온도에서 단시간 처리가 요구된다. 축파와 은기 품종의 중량, 장경, 단경, 체적 및 내 외피 중량을 측정하고, 이들 두 품종의 물리적 특성치간의 상관성을 조사한 바 중량과 내ㆍ외피 중량간의 상관성이 다른 특성치들보다 높게 나타났으며 이러한 물리적 특성치로부터 내피 및 외피의 중량을 구할 수 있는 다중 회귀식을 구하였다.

작약근의 박피와 시료형태가 건조시간 및 Paeoniflorin 함량에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Peeling and Sample types on Drying Time and Paeoniflorin Contents of Peony Root)

  • 작약의 양질약재 생산을 위한 기초 자료를 얻고자 건조과정중 박피시간별 절단과 무절단 그리고 열풍건조 온도를 달리하여 시험한 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 박피시간이 길어질수록 건조시간은 통뿌리보다 절단한 것이 건조온도가 단축되었으며, $30^{\circ}C$에서 $60^{\circ}C$까지의 건조온도에서 건조온도가 상승할수록 온도상승의 효과는 감소하였다. 작약의 주 약용성분인 paeoniflorin 함량은 무박피 절단형태로 열풍온도 $30^{\circ}C$에서 건조한 작약이 3.48%로 가장 높은 함량을 유지하였고, 120분 박피후 통뿌리로 $60^{\circ}C$에 열풍건조한 작약은 2.29%로 건조과정중 많은 양이 손실되어 가장 낮게 나타났다. 건조작약의 외부색택은 통뿌리로 $60^{\circ}C$에서 열풍건조했을 때 흑갈색으로 변하는 정도가 가장 심했다. 따라서 작약 수확후 건조과정 중 건조시간 단축과 약효성분 그리고 색택면에서 건조전의 처리 방법은 무박피 절단형태가 장시간 박피 원형형태보다 우수한 것으로 판단된다.

  • Flexural test and parametric study by FEM analysis on 6.0m long reinforced concrete beams strengthened by GFRP are reported in these tests. The selected variables are strengthened plate length, plate thickness. The effects of these variables are discussed. The results generally indicate that the flexural strength of strengthened beams is increased. The results of FEM analysis show that the more strengthening GFRP is the more stress of GFRP is decrease when failure mode is peeling failure.

산약(山藥)의 품질인증(品質認證) 방안(方案) (Quilitative certificational plan of shanyao)

  • Now many sustitution and false articles is used in korea instead of shanyao. To use shanyao correctly, we will make a quilitative certificational plan of shanyao to investigate all of lieraturea, records and documents. And we could reach conclusions as folloews. 1) Source About a source of shanyao, though korea and china has a each other source, we think there is no problem in use of both. 2) Process In our country producing shanyao as medical use is a 'duanma', we can divide into peeling and non-peeling, drying at bulks and at briquets, steaming shanyao and fresh shanyao. Regardless of existence for peeling and steaming, a distributing shanyao is received a proper judgment. Like this result was expressed by insufficiency of standards about medical components or indicating components. We detected a reminding S02 more than 10 ppm. And this expresses that there ia a problum at a drying method. To suggest proper processing methods, a standard of quility will have to be made which the existence of peeling, difference of quility between 'changma' and 'duanma', drying method and exudation test with cutted thickness are adaptable. Besides, 'maoshanyao' and 'guangshanyao' of china is processed by various methods which decrease a medical effect such as too much soaking shanyao in water, steaming with a sulfur, too much peeling, So we must process shanyao like the next methods. (1) When harvesting, dig deeply not to cut off roots. (2) Not to peel, wash shanyao in a washing machine. (3) Dry to 50-60% degree at sunny place or drying machine. (4) To be easy for drying and exudation, cut off a thick piece with 5 mm (5) Dry perfectly at ding machine. 3) Quality3) Quality (1) Functional standards It is not Proper that 'guangshanyao' is used in china because it has a problem with quility on process of working, If they did not soak shanyao in water or heat with steam, it is the real situation that they cannot cutt off shanyao evenly. In conclusion, shanyao must be heavy, powdery with a perfectly non-peeling surface, section surface is yellow-white color, unequal and has no holes. (2) Physicochemical standards It is the real situation that we can not distinguish into quility of shanyao with established test because various workings which decrease medical effects is used. Therefore we suggest a testing standard of S02 which is used in bleaching. And testing standards relatived with decrease of medical effects must be established at once. It must that Dry on loss is less than 14.0%, content of ash is less than 6.0%. Content of acid-nonsoluble ash is less than 0.5%. Contens of heavy metal has to detect less than 30 ppm and there is no reminding agricultural medince.

탄소섬유쉬트로 보강한 R/C보의 전단거동에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Shear Behavior of Strengthened R/C Beams with CFS)

  • The purpose of this study is to evaluate shear strengthening effects of R/C beams with carbon fiber sheets. The major variables are shear reinforcement ratios, CFS strengthening ratios and strengthening methods of CFS. Following conclusions can be extracted. The shear capacity of beam strengthened with CFS is about 32~87% higher than that of beams without shear reinforcement. The strengthening effects of patch type is larger than those of strip type. The strain distribution in CFS intersected with shear crack is similar to that in stirrup and larger strain is observed in the middle of the shear span. It can be estimated that shear strength reduction factor ${\alpha}$=0.3 is appropriate for peeling effect of CFS.

리기다소나무 조재목(造材木)의 천연건조(天然乾燥)에 미치는 박피처리(剝皮處理)의 효과(効果) (The Peeling Effect on the Natural Seasoning of Pitch Pine Log)

  • 이 시험(試驗) 전남(全南) 광양연습림(光陽演習林)에 있는 약(約) 40여년생(餘年生)의 리기다소나무임분(林分)에서 하계벌(夏季伐)과 동계벌(冬季伐)을 실시(實施)한 다음 조재목(造材木)에 완전박피(完全剝皮), 외피박피(外皮剝皮)(내피부재(內皮付材)) 그리고 무박피처리(無剝皮處里)를 하여 이들이 천연건조(天然乾燥)에 미치는 박피처리(剝皮處理)의 효과(効果)를 구명(究明)하기 위(爲)하여 실시(實施)되었다. 이 시험(試驗)의 결과(結果)를 요약(要約)하면 다음과 같다. (1) 완전박피재(完全剝皮材)는 대체(大體)로 내피부재(內皮付材)나 무박피재(無剝皮材)에 비교(比較)하여 속(速)히 건조(乾燥)하나 건열피해(乾裂被害)를 많이 이르킨다. (2) 하계벌(夏季伐)을 실시(實施)한 완전박피재(完全剝皮材), 내피부재(內皮付材) 및 무박피재(無剝皮材)를 비교(比較)하면 완전박피재(完全剝皮材)와 내피부재(內皮付材) 및 무박피재간(無剝皮材間)에는 차이(差異)가 인정(認定)되어도 내피부재(內皮付材)와 무박피재간(無剝皮材間)에는 차이(差異)가 없다. (3) 동계벌(冬季伐)을 실시(實施)한 경우 내피부재(內皮付材)와 완전박피재간(完全剝皮材間)에는 차이(差異)가 없어도 완전박피재(完全剝皮材) 및 내피부재(內皮付材)와 무박피재간(無剝皮材間)에는 현저(顯著)한 차이(差異)가 있었다. 따라서 내피부재(內皮付材)의 건조효과(乾燥効果)는 완전박피재(完全剝皮材)의 효과(効果)와 같다고 생각(生覺)한다. (4) 이 시험(試驗)에서 하계벌(夏季伐)의 완전박피재(完全剝皮材) 그리고 동계벌(冬季伐)의 내피부재(內皮付材) 및 완전박피재(完全剝皮材)는 모두 4개월(個月) 이내(以內)에 평형함수량(平衡含水量)에 도달(到達)한다고 예상된다.
