저전력 소모와 테스트 용이성을 고려한 회로 설계 (A study on low power and design-for-testability technique of digital IC)

  • In this thesis, we present efficient techniques to reduce the switching activity in a CMOS combinational logic network based on local logic transforms. But this techniques is not appropriate in the view of testability because of deteriorating the random pattern testability of a circuit. This thesis proposes a circuit design method having two operation modes. For the sake of power dissipation(normal operation mode), a gate output switches as rarely as possible, implying highly skewed signal probabilities for 1 or 0. On the other hand, at test mode, signals have probabilities of being 1 or 0 approaching 0.5, so it is possible to exact both stuck-at faults on the wire. Therefore, the goals of synthesis for low power and random pattern testability are achieved. The hardware overhead sof proposed design method are only one primary input for mode selection and AND/OR gate for each redundant connection.

  • Often ESOP(Exclusive Sum of Products) expressions provide more compact representations of logic functions and implemented circuits are known to be highly testable. Motivated by the merits of using XOR(Exclusive-OR) gates in circuit design, ESOP(Exclusive Sum of Products) expressions are considered s the input to the logic synthesis for random pattern testability. The problem of interest in this paper is whether ESOP expressions provide better random testability than corresponding SOP expressions of the given function. Since XOR gates are used to collect product terms of ESOP expression, fault propagation is not affected by any other product terms in the ESOP expression. Therefore the test set for a fault in ESOP expressions becomes larger than that of SOP expressions, thereby providing better random testability. Experimental results show that in many cases, ESOP expressions require much less random patterns compared to SOP expressions.

  • 한글 자음을 sona-grap로 부터 얻은 음성 pattern으로 주파수분석적인 방법으로 정밀분석한다는 것은 지극히 곤란한 것이며 주파수합성적인 방법으로 연구해야 할 문제임을 알았다. 그래서 자음 주파수영역을 분석추출하였으며, 전자음에 후독하는 $\mid$$\mid$의 format가 조음방법과 조음위치와 대응해서 변화하는 상태를 주로 관찰하였다.

  • 2-Bromopropane has been implicated to be the reason for the mass intoxication of workers at an electronic company in Korea. 2-Bromopropane deposition and pattern of DNA replication in mouse fetuses were analyzed after intravenous injection of 2-bromopropane. Injections were administered to pregnant ICR mice in order to cytogenetically evaluate transplacental 2-bromopropane. The results are summarized as follows; 1. A dose-dependent effect on DNA replication was observed equally in the lung, liver and kideneys of fetuses has been exposed to 2-bromopropane transplacentally as reductions of the labeling index. 2. Deposition of transplacentally administred 2-bromopropane in the fetus was lower than placenta.

  • The DNA replication of human Iyrnphocvtes was studied using Bromodeo3fyuridine incorporation. The characteristic patterns of dvnamlc banding were analysed. Human chromosomal ONA was synthesized in a segmental but highly coordinated fashion. Each chromosome replicates according to its innate pattern of chromosome structure (bandinsl. R-positive bands are demonstrated as the initiation sites of DNA synthesis, and G-bnads initiate replication after it has been completed in the autosomal R-bands. Many researchers demonstrated that developmental or induced methvlation of DNA can inactivate the associated gene loci. Such DNA methylation can be reversed and specific genes reactivated by treatment with 5-azacvtidine. We treated the hvpomethvlating agent 5-azacvtidine and tested for changes of DNA replication pattern. Treatment with 5-azacytidine causes an advance in the time of replication. These observed changes in timing of replication suggest that DNA methvlation may modify regional groups of genes in concert.

  • We fabricate poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiopene patterns using liquid-bridge-mediated nanotransfer (LB-nTM) printing via vapor phase polymerization (VPP). LB-nTM printing method can simultaneously enable the synthesis, alignment and patterning of the nanowires from molecular ink solutions. Two- or three-dimensional complex structures of VPP-PEDOT were directly fabricated over a large area using many types of molecular inks. VPP method is a versatile technique that can be used to obtain highly conducting coatings of conjugated polymer on both conducting and non-conducting substrates. The PEDOT patterns has analyzed crystallinity from X-ray diffraction pattern and select-area diffraction patterns. In addition, the PEDOT pattern has high conductivity compared other conducting polymers.

화학적 습식 합성법에서 친환경 슈거 환원제 및 젤라틴 캡핑제에 의한 주석계 나노입자의 제조 (Tin-Based Nanoparticles Prepared by a Wet Chemical Synthesis using Green Reducing and Capping Agents)

  • Tin(II) acetate 전구체를 사용한 습식 환원 합성법으로 나노입자를 제조하는 공정에서 친환경 환원제(슈거) 및 캡핑제(젤라틴)를 사용하여 합성 조건 및 합성 시간에 따른 주석 나노입자의 합성 특성을 분석하였다. 글루코스 환원제를 사용하여 $70-110^{\circ}C$의 온도에서 합성 시 불규칙한 사슬 형태로 군집체를 이루면서 배열된 환원 나노입자들이 관찰되었다. FFT 패턴 분석으로부터 이러한 나노입자들은 $SnO_2$ 상으로 분석되었다. 수크로오스 환원제로 사용하여 $110^{\circ}C$에서 합성을 실시한 경우에서는 3시간의 합성 시간에서 평균 약 10 nm급의 미세한 구형 나노입자들을 형성시킬 수 있었으나, 합성 시간을 9시간으로 증가시킨 경우에서는 불규칙하게 뭉친 나노입자들 외에도 사슬 형태의 나노입자 군집체들이 국부적으로 형성되는 거동이 관찰되었다. 그러나 $130^{\circ}C$ 합성 시에는 사슬 형태의 나노입자 군집체들만을 관찰할 수 있었다. 그 결과 구형의 나노입자는 순수 Sn 상으로, 사슬 형태 나노입자 군집체들은 $SnO_2$ 상으로 각각 분석되었다.

불국사 석가 다보 두 탑의 "내용과 형식"에 관한 연구 (On "Matter and Form" of two pagodas -in the Temple Bulguksa-)

  • This study aims to explain the image of historic objects in matters of the artistic impulse. Two Pagodas in the Temple Bulguksa, those have a concrete character of the "matter & form" in the structure and buddhistic background, are chosen for this study. With analysis and synthesis of the form and structure, those must be handled by overlaping, lifting and comparing in plan, elevation and mass, the structural pattern of them can be theoretically explained and aesthetically interpreted. Conclusively, this study would be expected to make some references to the historic scene of the Temple Bulguksa.

  • IC testing plays a very important role in IC manufacturing process. Modern complex ASIC chips making it difficult for gate level and RLT level test generation techniques to generate good test vector in resonable time. In this paper we proposed new test pattern generation method in VHDL description to detect manufacturing faults. This method based on software testing can easily generate test vector and independent to synthesis result.

Synthesis and characterization of starch$^Na+$-montmorillonite clay nanocomposites

  • Native corn starch and montmorillonite caly nanocomposites were prepared using the glycerol as the plasticizer. These were characterized by mechanical analysis, X-ray diffraction, infrared spectroscopy, differential scanning calorimetry, and scanning electron microscopy. The tensile strength increased with the clay content to a maximum point and then decreased due to gapping between the two phases. Dispersion of the layered silicate within the starch was verified using X-ray diffraction pattern. Examination of these materials by scanning electron showed that intercalates have good wetting to the starch surface.
