  • While contacting directly with ground, the tire tread part is in shape of complex patterns of variable ASDs(anti-skid depth) for various tire performances. However, owing to the painstaking mesh generation job and the extremely long CPU-time, conventional 3-D tire analyses have been performed by either neglecting tread pattern or modeling circumferential grooves only. As a result, such simplified analysis models lead to considerably poor numerical expectations. This paper addresses the development of a systematic 3-D mesh generation of tires considering the detailed tread pattern. Basically, tire body and tread meshes are separately generated, and then both are to be combined. For the systematic mesh generation, which consists of a series of meshing steps, we develop in-house subroutines which utilize the useful functions of I-DEAS solid modeler. The detailed pattern mesh can be imparted partially or completely.

  • 최근 들어, 테스트 시간과 하드웨어의 축소를 위한 많은 내장형 자체 테스트 구조가 연구되고 있다. 대부분의 패턴 생성에 대한 내장형 자체 데스트 구조는 결정 패턴 생성을 위한 것이다. 본 논문에서는 테스트시간과 하드웨어 오버헤드를 줄일 수 있는 새로운 의사 임의 패턴 내장형 자체 테스트 기법을 제안한다 본문에서는 의사 임의 패턴 내장형 자체 테스트 기법의 하드웨어 오버헤드의 축소 가능성에 대한 이론을 간단한 예제와 함께 설명하고 실험 결과를 통해 기존의 방법에 비하여 제안하는 방식을 이용할 경우 하드웨어 오버헤드가 줄어드는 것을 알 수 있으며, 기존의 방법과 제안한 방법의 테스트 시간 비교를 보여 준다.

성인 애착 표상의 세대간 전이 : 미주 한인 1세대 어머니와 대학생 자녀를 중심으로 (Attachment Representations in Korean-American Mothers and Their College Students : Intergenerational Transmission)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the first generation Korean-American mothers' attachment representation as well as the attachment representation of their second generation Korean-American college students. The subjects consisted of 25 first generation Korean-American mothers and 27 second generation college students residing in Los Angeles. The Adult Attachment Interview (George, Kaplan, & Main, 1985) was used for assessing attachment representation patterns. The results of this study were as follows. First, 36% of the subject mothers were classified as secure, 64% were insecurely attached and there was no unresolved/disorganized pattern in the insecure group. Second, 33% of the subject students were classified as secure. 67% were insecure on the AAI, and there was 4% unresolved/disorganized patterns in the insecure group. Third, a difference of 76% was found between the correspondence between the first generation Korean-American mothers' attachment representation pattern and the attachment representation of the second generation Korean-American college students.

  • These days, the aging population is becoming a critical social issue; the activation of the silver industry for the Y-O generation, meaning the young-old group of aged 55-64, is accelerating now. Pants are very important item to this generation, since they pursue active life with an exercise and leisure activities. Therefore, the physical, psychological, and social characters as well as the changed life style of women in the Y-O generation were reviewed, based on former studies and books. The consumer's patterns and actual wearing conditions about slacks were researched and analyzed through the survey toward 300 women aged 55-65 living in Seoul. Based on this research, information was provided for the development of slacks pattern which is suitable to the deformed body and aesthetic consciousness of the Y-O generation.

트윈세대 여학생을 위한 토르소 원형의 개발에 관한 연구 - 초등학교 5, 6학년을 중심으로 - (A Study on the Development of Torso Pattern for the Schoolgirl of a Tween Generation - Focused on the Elementary School Students of Fifth and Sixth Grades -)

  • The purpose of this study was to develop a new torso pattern for the schoolgirl of a tween generation who had different somatotype from children and teenagers. The subjects in this study were female elementary school students of fifth or sixth grade. Through a sensory evaluation of four existing torso patterns, the first research torso pattern was developed. Drafting methods of each item, which closed to the optimum value three, were selected. The differences between the values of the selected drafting methods and the optimum three were verified through a Wilcoxon's ranked sum test. The final research torso pattern was developed through adjusting the drafting methods according to the deviation from the optimum value three. The schoolgirl of a tween generation is at the time to show the remarkable breast development compared with a waist circumference, so the bust drafting was defined as B/4+ 1.25cm separately front and back. The drafting of a waist circumference was defined as W/4+1cm separately front and back which taken the ease amounts of the somatotype into consideration of the schoolgirl of a tween generation. A princess line was used instead of a waist dart because their hip circumference was more developed than a waist circumference. The crossed amount of a front hemline was 0.3cm and that of a back hemline was 0.7cm. and the princess line of the position was drawn with a straight line at a right angle of the back waistline. The armhole depth was determined B/4-1cm in consideration of the aesthetic and the trend, although the effective movement of upper arm was required.

  • 본 논문에서는 다단 논리회로의 고장을 완벽하게 검출할 수 있는 테스트 패턴 생성기를 설계하였다. 이 테스트 기법은 테스트 패턴 생성 논리회로를 사용하여 생성하였다. 생성된 테스트 패턴은 기존의 전체 테스트 방법에 비해 패턴을 크게 감소시켰다. 이 테스트패턴 생성기는 다단 논리회로에서의 모든 고장을 검출할 것으로 본다. 여러 가지 I.C 테스트 방법 중에서 어떤 방법을 선택할 것인지는 고장검출 속도에 영향을 준다. 가장 중요한 것은생산단가이며 설계된 테스트 패턴 생성기는 저가형이다.

  • 3D geometric modeling of an object of interest has been intensively investigated in many fields including CAD/CAM and computer graphics. Traditionally, CAD and geometric modeling tools are widely used to create geometric models that have nearly the same shape of 3D real objects or satisfy designers intent. Recently, with the help of the reverse engineering (RE) technology, we can easily acquire 3D point data from the objects and create 3D geometric models that perfectly fit the scanned data more easily and fast. In this paper, we present 3D geometric model generation based on a stereo vision system (SVS) using random pattern projection. A triangular mesh is considered as the resulting geometric model. In order to obtain reasonable results with the SVS-based geometric model generation, we deal with many steps including camera calibration, stereo matching, scanning from multiple views, noise handling, registration, and triangular mesh generation. To acquire reliable stere matching, we project random patterns onto the object. With experiments using various random patterns, we propose several tips helpful for the quality of the results. Some examples are given to show their usefulness.

  • In case of favourable irradiation conditions, the ratio of irradiation to the total irradiation went up and then the irradiation increased in the area with high angle of inclination. The study showed that on a clear day with the irradiation of more than $800[W/m^2]$, the pattern of alternating current power change in the fixed system was similar with that in the single-axis tracker. On the contrary, in case of unfavourable irradiation conditions, the ratio of diffuse irradiation to the total irradiation went up and then the horizontal irradiation increased. In the demo system, the fixed system, the single-axis tracker and the dual-axis tracker all had low generation power and similar generation pattern with each other. The study showed the generation power varied with the irradiation in the fixed system, while in the single-axis tracker and the dual-axis tracker, the amount of the generation power variation was much more than the irradiation variation. The demo system was operated from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM for generating power, during which time, 46[%] to 56[%] of the total generation power was produced. In this study. the generation power was increased by 147[%] in the fixed system, by 136[%] in the single-axis tracker, and by 164[%] in the dual-axis tracker, and the pattern of generation power was similar with the generation power variation in the situation where the irradiation increased by 140[%] in the spring with plenty of insolation. The alternating current power was more sensitive to variation of the irradiation than to that of the surface temperature of a module. The variation of the irradiation had a more positive effect on the generation power than the type of array.
