  • Customer behavior pattern discovery is the fundament for conducting customer oriented services and the services management. But, the composition, need, interest and experience of customers may be continuously changing, thereof lead to the difficulty in refining a stable description of their consistent behavior pattern. This paper presented a new method for the behavior pattern discovery from a changing collection of customers. It was originally inspired from the swarm intelligence of ant colony. By the adaptive clustering, some typical behavior patterns which reflect the characteristics of related customer clusters can extracted dynamically and adaptively.

  • In a high power laboratory, artificial lines are used for SLF tests of circuit breakers. The line side PTRV is affected by the stray capacitances of testing and measuring equipment as well as the circuit parameters of artificial lines. The changing pattern of PTRV was examined, and the circuit parameters of artificial line for some examples were compensated using the changing pattern to satisfy test conditions specified.

  • Rapid economic development has led seafood consumption to its quality - oriented pattern as well as consumer's in China. This study concerns about The First, China is Seafood development background. The Second, China become emboldened seafood causes. The third, seafood consumption has characteristic. The fourth, seafood consumption has the organization of society. The study shows that there are economic developmental periods Chinas has three time. The First time$(1961\sim1983)$ is rapid growth. The Second time$(1984\sim1998)$ is growth accumulate. The third time$(1999\sim)$ is changing on seafood consumption as the consumption of seafood is changed according to economic variables changes in income, price, tastes and population. This changing pattern of seafood consumption is based on economic variables appears toward luxury and convenience seafoods. Consumption of food is also affected by non - economic variables. The most typical non - economic variables leading to changes of seafood consumption is local, seafood culture, $et{\ldots}$ Recently seafood consumption pattern shows that consumers paying more money to get their seafood preference for pursuing its hight growth and varienty.

  • This paper deals with PWM patterns for harmonic reduction in inverter fed traction motors and the gear changing techniques for the variable speed drive of traction motor. GTOs are used as switching device of inverter because traction motor is a large load. To derive PWM rattern which can minimize the harmonics with the limited switching frequency, the output current and torque characteristic of SPWM and SHE PWM was analyzed. GTO inverter used for traction motor drive includes harmonics in the output current and torque by the limitation of switching frequency. However, the hybrid PWM method that adopt SPWM in the range of low frequency and SHE PWM in upper frequency range can achieve less harmonic characteristics in GTO inverters. If the traction motor is driven in variable speed by the proposed PWM pattern, 7 times of gear changing is needed. At the instant of the mode change, magnetic flux and torque may be altered and the large current flow. To reduce such an undesirable transient behavior, it is also presented the technique for the gear changing of inverter fed traction motor drive operated with the hybrid PWM. The results are verified by simulations and experiments.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the dweller's housing needs through the connection between dwellers' living pattern and space usage. The objectives were (1) to examine how to eat and cook in the eating and cooking spaces, (2) to examine how to alter the original housing, (3) to research the dwellers' housing needs for the eating and cooking spaces, and the changing process of dwellers' housing needs, and (4) to classify the type of eating and cooking spcaces. The results of this study were (1) there were changed in eating pattern of space usage according to the season. The eating activities were a Korean living pattern : sitting on the floor and eating at the BAB SANG. (2) There was a difference in the pattern of space usage and the activity for main cooking and KIM CHI. (3) AN BANG (eating space for winter) as well as MARU (eating space for summer) has changed to a larger space. (4) By the changing of living patterns, BU AUK (a main cooking space ) has showed a various alternations: function, dimension of space, facilities, floor materials and floor level. (5) The dwellers' housing needs for eating space were a multipurpose room, and a dining kitchen of western living pattern (using a dining table and chairs) with the present changing life styles. (6) The dwellers' housing needs for cooking space were a multipurpose room of working area, a seperation of heating area, a western living pattern, a plan of flat fllor level and a dining kitchen. (7) BU AUK of eating and cooking spaces was classified into 4 types: a traditional type, a mixing type, a modernized type, and a western type.

  • We propose dynamic file allocation method in distributed database management system with changing access patterns. There are a lot of studies on file allocation problem in D-DBMS, and those studies deal with off-line analysis and optimization. Those works are well for systems with static database access patterns, but are inadequate for systems that have changing access patterns. In these systems, dynamic file allocation along with access pattern is more proper. In advance, Brunstrom et al. studied on this area, but they dealt a extremely simplified model. So, we make more practical models to simulate real system. In these models, many factors that were disregard in the advance study are considered. These models are composed with the non-replication system and the replication system. In addition to, we deal with CPU workload balancing in such system in order to improve performance of systems. Our methodology is very simple and realistic, therefore we think that it will give a lot of improvement in D-DBMS with changing access pattern.

  • Observation of changing pattern of blood pressure and pulse rate of enflurane anesthesia for 200 cases operations, performed during the past 4 years(1983~1986) in Yeungnam University Hospital have been evaluated clinically. In order to observe the influence of enflurane upon the blood pressure and pulse rate during general anesthesia, the authors prepared a formula, expressing changing of blood pressure and pulse rate by time series and analyzed the types and distribution pattern in the experiment. The results obtained were as follows : 1. Blood pressure and pulse rate were increased at the time of intubation. 2. Generally, blood pressure and pulse rate were increased at the time of intubation and then stabilized withing 20 minutes. 3. Most common patterns were identified, ADEE type was 73~74%, Which is most common type and AEEE type was about 40%.

  • Nanoscale block copolymer (BCP) patterns have been pursued for applications in sub-30 nm nanolithography. BCP self-assembly processing is scalable and low cost, and is well-suited for integration with existing semiconductor fabrication techniques. However, one of the major technical challenges for BCP self-assembly is limited tunability in pattern geometry, dimension, and functionality. We suggest methods for extending the degree of tunability by choosing highly incompatible polymer blocks and utilizing solvent vapor treatment techniques. Siloxane BCPs have been developed as self-assembling resists due to many advantages such as high etch-selectivity, good etch-resistance, long-range ordering, and reduced line-edge roughness. The large incompatibility leads to extensive degree of pattern tunability since the effective volume fraction can be easily manipulated by solvent-based treatment techniques. Thus, control of the microdomain size, periodicity, and morphology is possible by changing the vapor pressure and the mixing ratio of selective solvents. This allows a range of different pattern geometry such as dots, lines and holes and critical dimension simply by changing the processing conditions of a given block copolymer without changing a polymer chain length. We demonstrate highly extensive tunability (critical dimension ~6~30 nm) of self-assembled patterns prepared by a siloxane BCP with extreme incompatibility.

  • Now in the 21st century, all the industries in our world are rapidly changing, including fashion trends and customers' needs as well. Fashion textile planning is also developing towards the direction where it could satisfy the merged sensitivity and incentive of the customers through an idea. The purpose of this study is to accentuate the importance of fashion material planning in fitting conventional patterns and eco-benign fabric materials. Accordingly, this study is mainly focused on the reflection of fabric planning characteristics to show tradition containing comfort and naturalness. As mixing with established fabrics and blending with natural/functional fabrics, and conforming to the trend of the seasonal fabric, it has developed a new structure and pattern by changing the basic source of traditional patterns to a computer aided design system. Therefore, four different types of items were basically up-graded by fitting it in with traditional patterns.
