Solder paste is widely used as a conductive adhesive in the electronics industry. In this paper, nano and microsized mixed lead-free solder powder (Sn-Ag-Cu) is used to manufacture solder paste. The purpose of this paper is to improve the storage stability using different types of solvents that are used in fabricating the solder paste. If a solvent of sole acetate is used, the nano sized solder powder and organic acid react and form a Sn-Ag-Cu malonate. These formed malonates create fatty acid soaps. The fatty acid soaps absorb the solvents and while the viscosity of the solder paste rises, the storage stability and reliability decrease. When ethylene glycol, a dihydric alcohol, is used the fatty acid soaps and ethylene glycol react, preventing the further creation of the fatty acid soaps. The prevention of gelation results in an improvement in the solder paste storage ability.

Recently, Pb free solder technologies are developed, and start using for many packaging items. But this technology contains many problems. They are very high re-flow temperature and high cost than normal solder paste. Specially, high re-flow temperature effects heavy damage to packaging and occur many crack to packaging. We developed special ACI (anisotropic conductive ink) that becomes substitution of solder paste. This technology cans adhesive lower temperature such as $120\~150^{\circ}C$. Adhesion time is very short, too. This technology is suitable for mass production.
Detailed finishing of the occlusion is a clinical skill that has become difficult with the development of fixed appliances. Accuracy of bracket placement definitely improves with indirect technique, Several methods for the placement of orthodontic brackets on dental casts are currently used in the indirect bonding technique. These include attachment by means of bonding resins, adhesive tapes or sticky wax. This article presents the indirect procedures of our clinic, which use paste-paste chemically cured composites. Detailed laboratory and clinical procedure for dual tray method and other application of indirect bonding will be presented.
A carbon-based hybrid resistor was fabricated using carbon nanotube (CNT) paste as an adhesive layer to establish electrically continuous ohmic contacts between CNT sheets and different CNT sheet or copper based metal alloy plates, and its electrical properties were evaluated. CNT sheets were fabricated using vacuum filtration with a CNT solution dispersed in isopropyl alcohol (IPA) solvent. The electrical characteristics of these carbon-based hybrid resistors were investigated. The CNT paste fulfilled the requirements for forming ohmic contacts between CNT sheets and metal alloy plates, which was attributed to the lowest work function difference and excellent wettability at the interface.
A thermal transfer method was developed novel method to form the phosphor screen for monochrom VPT. This method have advantages of simple process, clean environment, saving raw material and running-cost. But now applying phosphor screen for thermal transfer method has been formed three layers (phosphor layer, ITO layer and thermal adhesive layer) on the PET film as substrate. This is complex process, consumption of raw-material and require of high cost. Also ITO paste at present has been imported from Japan. To improve these problems, we have developed ITO paste as conductive paste by using ITO sol and binder resin (AA3003). Ito paste as developed in this study has both conductive and excellent thermal transfer abilities. Thus we could manufacture phosphor screen formed two layers (phosphor layer and ITO layer).
In this study, the MMA-modified paste mixed waste rubber powder, which has a small elastic modulus and a large modification, was produced by using the soft unsaturated polyester resin(UP) as a binder. Then the adhesive properties according to the matrices in both underwater and air-dry conditions and the hardening shrinkage according to the contents of shrinkage reducing agent(SRA) and of MMA were surveyed. The experimental results show that, regardless of humidity of matrices the adhesive strength of polymer concrete was larger than cement concrete. the adhesive strength of MMA content of 20% was larger than MMA content of 30%. regardless of matrix materials the adhesive strength in water condition were $20{\sim}30%$ comparing with the air-dry condition. The case of MMA content of 20% showed the largest adhesive strength. In the hardening shrinkage experiment, the hardening shrinkage reduced as MMA and SRA contents increased, and the decrease of the hardening shrinkage by SRA was larger.
Currently, functional patterns are formed by screen printing on stretchable films, and they are applied to wearable and stretchable devices. In this study, three types of silver paste were prepared using three polyester binders with different Tg and molecular weights in order to impart elasticity to the conductive pattern itself. Rheological properties and DSC measurements were performed for each silver paste. Then, each silver paste was screen printing and cured by an IR dryer to evaluate adhesive strength, pencil hardness, resistance and surface shape change according to strain. As a result, it was found that the silver paste using a binder with a low Tg and a high molecular weight has the smallest resistance change depending on the strain. Namely, it was found that it is most preferable to use a binder with a low Tg and a high molecular weight as the stretchable electrode.
In this experiment, we have manufactured thermal-curable silver pastes for direct printing. And to enhance conductivity, printability, adhesion and hardness during polymer direct-gravure prints, we have manufactured Ag pastes by adding variety of filter contents. Then we have investigated characteristics of rheology in paste according to the gravure printability and the properties of printed conductive patterns. Depending on a variety of Ag powder, there was a big difference in sharpness of printed pattern. And also by the use of carbon, there was a big difference in amount of solvent used, conductivity and in hardness. We could improve doctoring and the sharpness of a pattern by adding Ag paste in carbon particle, but as we have used nano-sized particle, there was an increase in the amount of solvent used and also we have found out that it gives a bad effect as adhesive and hardness becomes weaker. Even though Ag particle has the same spherical shape, the surface treatments could differ from one another. And by the appropriate choice and with the suitable combination of Ag powder, excellent printability and conductivity could be obtained.
We have manufactured low-curable silver pastes for gravure printing out of roll to roll printing process. When printing, the pastes be used different silver powder shape because of the printing characteristics. The pastes were prepared with silver powder by silver powder shape, polyester resin, solvent and homogenized on a standard three-roller mill. And the pastes exhibited a shear-thinning flow at viscosity profile. Moreover the adhesive strength and resistivity of silver film had good characteristics. With the manufactured paste in this study, RFID antenna circuit had flexible is manufactured and it had $10^{-4}{\sim}10^{-5}{\Omega}{\cdot}cm$.
A novel thermal transfer method was developed to form the phosphor screen for VPT(Video Phone Tube). This method have advantages of simple process, clean environment, saving raw material and running-cost comparison of electrodeposition, spin coating of conventional methods. But now applying phosphor screen for thermal transfer method has been formed three layers (phosphor layer, ITO layer and thermal adhesive layer) on the PET film as substrate. This is complex process, run to waste of raw-material and require of high cost. Also ITO paste at present has been imported from Japan. To improve these problems, we have manufactured phosphor screen formed by two layers (phosphor layer and ITO layer). We have developed ITO paste that had both conductive and excellent thermal transfer abilities, made it of domestic raw-material.
