Heater interlock by-pass로 인한 위험분석 및 사고방지에 대한 연구 (A Study on Risk Analysis and Acident Prevention Heater Interlock By-pass)

  • 본 연구에서는 국내 석유화학공장에서 운전되고 있는 CDU plant heater, NCC plant heater, CO plant Heater, aromatic plant heater 등 15개 plant heater를 대상으로 조사하였으며, 세부 내용으로는 heater 사고 예방을 위한 공정운전 표준, alarm 작동시 조치 및 setting 변경, 시운전 점검사항, interlock system 분석, interlock by-pass 운전현황, heater 주요 사고$\cdot$사례 등을 분석하였다. interlock 방지 및 시설개선 대책으로 실시간 monitoring 설치, local 압력계 및 온도계추가설치, 초기 운전시 점검방법, interlock by-pass 관리, 오작동 계기 sensor maker 변경, 운전 mode 변경시 주요 현장확인사항, DCS alarm 관리방법 등을 제시하였다. heater interlock에 관련되는 국내외 연구자료가 거의 없어서 주로 석유화학업체 운전 절차서, 공정trouble 일지, 부서장 및 현장 운전원의 의견을 반영하여 연구하였다. 연구의 결과에 따라 interlock 방지 및 시설개선 대책을 운전 절차서에 반영한다면 interlock으로 인한 사고를 크게 줄일 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

중소 제조기업의 글로벌 품질경쟁력 강화 및 경영성과 창출을 위한 품질혁신 표준방법론 개발 (Development of Standard Method for Quality Innovation to Strengthen Global Competitiveness and Create Management Performance of Small and Medium-sized Manufacturing Firms)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to develop quality innovation techniques specialized for the small and medium-sized businesses. which account for the majority of Korean companies, were having a hard time utilizing the widely recognized quality innovation techniques due to resource constraints. Methods: First, we do review the existing Single PPM and 6 Sigma. And investigate the utilization of these methods including Toyota Production System. Second, we devised a four-step problem-solving methodology based on recent trends in quality innovation such as Simple, Speedy, and Smart. Third, we do survey on frequently used tools for quality innovation. Many opinion leaders including quality consultants and professors answered and gave us valuable comments about our selected quality tools. Finally, we do specify and map tools to each step of PASS. Results: In 2017, 167 companies participated in the quality innovation support business for small businesses according to the Korea Chamber of Commerce & Industry. We conducted performance checks on 167 companies that had completed the "PASS" projects. For the purpose of evaluating improvement performance, the survey was carried out using a structured questionnaire during the field visit of these companies mentioned above. For the reference, 165 out of 167 companies (98.8 % response rate) responded to the questionnaire and conducted performance analysis based on it. According to the survey, 97.6 percent of the respondents were very satisfied with their overall satisfaction with the quality innovation support projects for small and medium sized enterprises in 2017. Also, 93.3 % of the respondents were satisfied with the results of level of the target achievement. As a result, 160 companies (97.0 % of the participating companies) hope to partic ipate in the quality improvement project using "PASS" once again. Conclusion: In this paper, we introduce the new quality innovation methodology, which is named as 'PASS', It could support the long-range business plan of the small and medium-sized businesses to achieve total customer satisfaction resulting in increased market share and improved profit margin. The most small companies can use this "PASS" technique more easily, quickly and most efficiently than their existing known quality innovation techniques such as Six Sigma and Single PPM, etc.

고속도로 단차로 하이패스차로 용량 검토에 관한 연구 : 부트스트랩 기법 활용 중심으로 (A Study on the Capacity Review of One-lane Hi-pass Lanes on Highways : Focusing on Using Bootstrapping Techniques)

  • 현재 고속도로 설계지침에서는 단차로 하이패스차로의 용량을 본선형 영업소는 2,000대/시, 나들목 영업소는 1,700대/시로 제시하고 있다. 그리나 2010년도 초반에 수행되었던 연구에서는 본선형 영업소는 1,476대/시/차로~1,665대/시/차로, 나들목 영업소는 1,443대/시/차로 정도로 제시하였다. 이에 본 연구는 현재 제시되고 있는 고속도로 단차로 하이패스차로의 용량의 타당성을 검토하였다. 단차로 하이패스 갠트리에서 수집되는 2021년도 개별차량 통과 자료를 기반으로 속도-교통량 관계 그래프와 차두시간을 활용하여 용량을 산정하고 비교하였다. 또한 차 두시간 활용에 있어 부트스트랩 기법을 도입하여 수집데이터의 새로운 가공 방안에 대해 검토하였다. 분석 결과 단차로 하이패스 용량은 나들목 영업소는 1,700대/시/차로로 제시할 수 있었으며, 본선형 영업소는 적어도 1,700대/시/차로 이상으로 추정할 수 있었다. 또한 차두시간 자료 이용 시 부트스트랩 기법을 활용하면 관측용량과 유사한 추정용량을 제시할 수 있었다.

TanDEM-X bistatic SAR 영상의 2-pass 위성영상레이더 차분간섭기법 기반 수치표고모델 생성 방법 개선 (Improvement of 2-pass DInSAR-based DEM Generation Method from TanDEM-X bistatic SAR Images)

  • 2-pass DInSAR (Differential Interferometric SAR) 기법을 이용한 DEM 생성 방법은 SAR 영상쌍 간의 정합, 간섭도 생성, 위상 unwrapping, DEM오차 계산, 좌표계 변환 등 복잡한 단계가 필요하다. 이러한 각 단계별 자료처리 정확도는 최종적으로 생성되는 DEM의 성능에 영향을 미치게 된다. 본 연구에서는 TanDEM-X bistatic SAR 영상의 2-pass DInSAR 기법 기반 DEM 생성 방법에 대한 성능 향상을 위한 개선된 방법을 개발하였다. 개발된 DEM 생성 방법은 unwrapped 위상 내의 DEM 오차와 좌표계 변환 시 발생할 수 있는 DEM오차를 현저히 줄일 수 있는 방법이다. 개발된 알고리즘의 성능 분석은 GPS 측량으로부터 생성한 지상기준점(Ground Control Point, GCP)을 이용하여 기존의 방법과 새로 제안된 알고리즘 적용 결과의 수직정확도(Root Mean Square Error, RMSE)를 비교하여 수행하였다. 실제 unwrapped 위상 및 좌표계변환 오차에 대한 보정을 수행하지 않고 생성한 DInSAR 기반 DEM의 고도 오차는 수직정확도는 39.617 m로 관측되었고, 제안한 방법을 통하여 생성한 DEM의 수직정확도는 2.346 m로 향상됨을 확인할 수 있었다. 제안하는 2-pass DInSAR 기법을 통해 reference로 사용한 SRTM 30 m DEM(수직정확도 5.567 m)에 DInSAR로 관측한 SRTM DEM 오차를 보상하여 최종적으로 공간해상도는 약 5배, 수직 정확도는 약 2.4배 향상된 DEM을 생성할 수 있었다. 또한, 제안한 방법을 통하여 생성한 DEM의 공간해상도를 SRTM 30 m DEM과 TanDEM-X 90 m DEM과 일치시키고 수직정확도를 비교한 결과 각각 약 1.7배 및 1.6배 향상되어 제안하는 2-pass DInSAR 기반 DEM 생성 방법으로 보다 정확한 DEM 생성이 가능함을 확인할 수 있었다. 빈번한 형태학적 변화를 갖는 지역에 대한 DEM의 지속적인 업데이트를 위하여 본 연구에서 도출한 방법을 이용한다면 저비용으로 빠른 시간 내에 효과적으로 DEM을 갱신할 수 있을 것이다.

Sliding Wear Behavior of UHMWPE against Novel Low Temperature Degradation-Free Zirconia/Alumina Composite

  • The sliding wear behavior of ultra high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) was examined on a novel low temperature degradation-free zirconia/alumina composite material and conventional alumina and zirconia ceramics used for femoral head in total hip joint replacement. The wear of UHMWPE pins against these ceramic disks was evaluated by performing linear reciprocal sliding and repeat pass rotational sliding tests for one million cycles in bovine serum. The weight loss of polyethylene against the novel low temperature degradation-free zirconia/alumina composite disks was much less than those against conventional ceramics for all tests. The mean weight loss of the polyethylene pins was more io the linear reciprocal sliding test than in the repeal pass rotational sliding lest for all kinds of disk materials. Neither the coherent transfer film nor the surface damage was observed on the surface of the novel zirconia/alumina composite disks during the test. The observed r,'stilts indicated that the wear of the polyethylene was closely related to contacting materials and kinematic motions. In conclusion, the novel zirconia/alumina composite leads the least wear of polyethylene among the tested ceramics and demonstrates the potential as lhe alternative materials for femoral head in total hip joint replacement.

스마트톨링 서비스 이용의도에 영향을 미치는 요인에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Factors Affecting the Intention to Use of Smart Tolling Service)

  • Smart tolling, which improved the drawbacks of the existing high-pass system, was developed and built through the Smart Highway R & D project in 2007. In order to successfully introduce and spread Smart Tolling, it is need to analyze factors that affected by intent to use. This study conducted research based on literature studies and empirical studies, and developed a research model to analyze factors affecting the users' intention of smart tolling system based on technology acceptance model (TAM) and value based acceptance model. The main variables of the research model are service characteristics (convenience, reliability), technical characteristics (flexibility, stability), environmental characteristics (switching cost, effectiveness of policy) and intention to use. To test the hypotheses set in this study, frequency analysis, exploratory factor analysis, and confirmatory factor analysis were performed using the SPSS 22.0 program statistical package and AMOSS 18.0. The convenience and reliability presented by service characteristics did not affect the intention to use of smart tolling service.

SCM435 강의 고온마찰계수 계산 (Computation of High Temperature Friction Coefficient of SCM435 Steel)

  • In this study, an approach designed to compute high temperature friction coefficients for SCM 435 steel through a pilot hot rolling test and a finite element analysis, is proposed. Single pass pilot hot flat rolling tests with reduction ratios varying from 20 to 40% were carried out at temperatures ranging from 900 to $1200^{\circ}C$. In the proposed approach, the friction coefficient is calculated by comparing the measured strip spread and the roll force with the simulation results. This study showed that the temperature and reduction ratio had a significant influence on the friction coefficient. As both material temperature and reduction ratio become higher, the friction coefficient increases monotonically. This finding is not in agreement with the Ekelund model, which is widely used in the analysis of the hot rolling process. In the present work, the friction coefficient at a reduction ratio of 40% was found to be 1.2 times greater than that at a reduction of 30%. This higher friction coefficient means that an increment of the roll thrust force is expected at the next stand. Therefore, a roll pass designer must understand this phenomenon in order to adjust the reduction ratio at the stands while keeping the driving power, the roll housing structure and the work roll strength within the allowable range.

Thruster Control Unit 하우징, PCB의 정적 및 진동 해석

  • 본 논문은 KSLV-I의 추력기 제어기로 사용되는 TCU(Thruster Control Unit)의 하우징과 PCB의 정적 및 진동해석에 관한 것이다. KSLV-I(Korea Space Launch Vehicle-I)에 장착되는 전자유닛들은 KSLV-I의 비행환경을 모사하는 환경시험을 통과하여야만 비행환경에서 기능 및 성능에 문제가 없다는 가정 하에 장착이 된다. 이 중 가장 문제가 되는 진동 및 충격시험에 대한 설계기준을 제시하였으며 설계된 하우징과 PCB가 이 설계 기준에 타당한지를 검토하였다. 설계기준을 만족하기 위해서 하우징을 재설계하였으며 검토결과 주어진 환경시험에 파손되지 않고 정상 작동할 것이라는 결론을 얻었다.

Wave shape analysis of seismic records at borehole of TTRH02 and IWTH25 (KiK-net)

  • The KiK-net by NIED is a vertical array measurement system. In the database of KiK-net, singular pulse waves were observed in the seismic record at the borehole of TTRH02 during the mainshock (the magnitude of Japan Meteorological Agency (MJ) 7.3, MW 6.8) and aftershock (Mj 4.2) of Tottori-ken Seibu earthquake in 2000. Singular pulse waves were also detected in the seismic records at the borehole of IWTH25 during the Iwate-Miyagi Nairiku earthquake in 2008 (MJ 7.2, MW 6.9). These pulse waves are investigated by using the wave shape analysis methods, e.g., the non-stationary Fourier spectra and the double integrated displacement profiles. Two types of vibration modes are discriminated as the occurrence mechanism of the singular pulse waves. One corresponds to the reversal points in the displacement profile with the amplitude from 10-4 m to 10-1 m, which is mainly related to the fault activity and the amplification pass including the mechanical amplification (collision) of the seismograph in the casing pipe. The other is the cyclic pulse waves in the interval of reversal points, which is estimated as the backlash of the seismograph itself with the amplitude from 10-5 m to 10-4 m.

극후판 다층 FCAW 맞대기 용접부의 잔류응력 특성에 관한 연구 (A Study of the Residual Stress Characteristics of FCAW Multi-Pass Butt Joint for an Ultra-Thick Plate)

  • The goal of this work is to establish the reliability of FCA welded joints for high strength EH36-TMCP ultra thick plate. For this, heat conduction and thermo elasto-plastic analyses have been conducted on a multi-pass, X-groove, butt-joint model to clarify the thermal and mechanical behavior (residual stresses, magnitude of the stresses, and their production and distribution mechanisms) of the weld joint. In addition, the results of the welding residual stress obtained from thermo elasto-plastic analysis was verified and compared with results obtained by XRD analysis.
