전해연마한 슈퍼오스테나이트 스테인리스강의 해수온도에 따른 전기화학적 특성 연구 (Investigation of the Electrochemical Characteristics of Electropolished Super Austenite Stainless Steel with Seawater Temperature)

  • Electropolishing technology uses an electrochemical reaction and improves surface roughness, glossiness, and corrosion resistance. In this investigation, electropolishing was performed to improve the corrosion resistance of super austenitic stainless steel. As a result of electropolishing, surface roughness (0.16 ㎛) was improved by about 76.5% compared to mechanical polishing (0.68 ㎛). In addition, the electropolished surface was smooth because the average and variance values of the depth histogram were small. Tafel analysis was performed after a potentiodynamic polarization experiment with seawater temperature, and the microstructure was compared and analyzed. The corrosion current density at 30 ℃, 60 ℃, and 90 ℃ was reduced by 0.083 ㎂/cm2, 0.296 ㎂/cm2, and 0.341 ㎂/cm2, respectively. Pitting occurred in the mechanical polished specimen at 30 ℃, but partial intergranular corrosion was observed in the electropolished specimen, and pitting occurred predominantly at both 60 ℃ and 90 ℃. In addition, the damage depths of the electropolished specimen were shallower than those of mechanical polishing at 30 ℃ and 60 ℃, but the opposite result was seen at 90 ℃.

Prediction of moisture contents in green peppers using hyperspectral imaging based on a polarized lighting system

  • In this study, a multivariate analysis model of partial least square regression (PLSR) was developed to predict the moisture content of green peppers using hyperspectral imaging (HSI). In HSI, illumination is essential for high-quality image acquisition and directly affects the analytical performance of the visible near-infrared hyperspectral imaging (VIS/NIR-HSI) system. When green pepper images were acquired using a direct lighting system, the specular reflection from the surface of the objects and their intensities fluctuated with time. The images include artifacts on the surface of the materials, thereby increasing the variability of data and affecting the obtained accuracy by generating false-positive results. Therefore, images without glare on the surface of the green peppers were created using a polarization filter at the front of the camera lens and by exposing the polarizer sheet at the front of the lighting systems simultaneously. The results obtained from the PLSR analysis yielded a high determination coefficient of 0.89 value. The regression coefficients yielded by the best PLSR model were further developed for moisture content mapping in green peppers based on the selected wavelengths. Accordingly, the polarization filter helped achieve an uniform illumination and the removal of gloss and artifact glare from the green pepper images. These results demonstrate that the HSI technique with a polarized lighting system combined with chemometrics can be effectively used for high-throughput prediction of moisture content and image-based visualization.

국소의치용 티타늄 합금의 부식 특성 (Corrosion Characteristics of Ti alloy for Removable Partial Denture)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 저탄성계수 Ti-30Ta 합금에 Zr 원소를 첨가하여 표면 특성 및 부식 거동을 조사하였다. 저탄성계수 Ti-30Ta-xZr(x : 3, 7, 15 wt %)합금은 아크 멜팅기로 제조하였고, 아르곤 분위기에서 $1000^{\circ}C$ 24시간 동안 열처리하였다. 합금의 미세구조는 FE-SEM 그리고 XRD를 이용하여 조사하였다. 전기화학적 특성은 시편 작업전극, 고밀도 탄소 보조전극 그리고 포화칼로멜 기준전극의 통상적인 3상을 이용하여 수행하였다. Ti-30Ta-xZr 합금의 분극 거동 결과, 균질화 처리된 Ti-30Ta-15Zr 합금의 부동태 전류밀도가 다른 합금에 비해 낮았다.

$YMnO_3$ 강유전 박막의 열처리 분위기가 결정화거동과 전기적 특성에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Annealing Atmosphere on Crystallization and Electrical Properties in $YMnO_3$ Ferroelectric Thin Films)

  • YMnO3 thin films were prepared on Pt/Ti/SiO2/Si substrate by chemical solution deposition method. The films were crystallized by heat-treatment at 85$0^{\circ}C$ for 1 hour. Effects of an annealing atmosphere(O2, Ar, vacuum) on the crystallization behavior and electridcal properties were investigated. YMnO3 thin films annealed under Ar atmosphere showed a superior crystallinity and a very strong c-aix preferred-orientation which was a polar axis. Leakage current density of the films decreased with lowering oxygen partial pressure of the annealing atmosphere. C-V and P-E ferroelectric hysteresis were observed only in the thin film heat-treated under Ar atmosphere.In order to prepare YMnO3 thin films having both low leakage current and ferroelectricity, the annealing atmsphere should be kept under a proper oxygen partial pressure which was about 1 Pa in this work. Leakage current density at 1 volt, dielectric constant($\varepsilon$r), remanent polarization(Pr), and coercive field(Ec) were 1.7$\times$10-8 A/$\textrm{cm}^2$, 25, 1.08$\mu$C/$\textrm{cm}^2$, and 100 kV/cm, respectively.

Application of Generalized Transmission Line Models to Mixed Ionic-Electronic Transport Phenomena

  • Application of a generalized equivalent circuit including the electrode condition for the Hebb-Wagner polarization in the frequency domain proposed by Jamnik and Maier can provide a consistent set of material parameters, such as the geometric capacitance, partial conductivities, chemical capacitance or diffusivity, as well as electrode characteristics. Generalization of the shunt capacitors for the chemical capacitance by the constant phase elements (CPEs) was applied to a model mixed conducting system, $Ag_2S$, with electron-blocking AgI electrodes and ion-blocking Pt electrodes. While little difference resulted for the electron-blocking cell with almost ideal Warburg behavior, severely non-ideal behavior in the case of Pt electrodes not only necessitates a generalized transmission line model with shunt CPEs but also requires modelling of the leakage in the cell approximately proportional to the cell conductance, which then leads to partial conductivity values consistent with the electron-blocking case. Chemical capacitance was found to be closer to the true material property in the electron-blocking cell while excessively high chemical capacitance without expected silver activity dependence resulted in the electron-blocking cell. A chemical storage effect at internal boundaries is suggested to explain the anomalies in the respective blocking configurations.

  • $700-900^{\circ}C$의 온도범위와 여러 산소분압 조건에서 고체전해질 연료전지의 양극인 $La_{0.9}Sr_{0.1}MnO_3$에서 산소의 환원반응특성을 조사하였다. AC 임피던스법과 전류중단법에 의해 산소환원반응의 전하전달저항을 측정하였는데 두 방법으로 구한 간이 서로 잘 일치하였다. 전기화학적 산소환원반응의 활성화에너지는 대기압 조건에서 174kJ/mol의 값을 보였고, 산소분압에 따른 전하전달저항의 측정결과로 부터 이 전극에서 전기화학적 산소환원반응의 율속단계는 전하전달과정임을 알 수 있었다.

  • In this paper, efficiency estimation of toxicity fee fire resistance cable experiments was measured smoke density of toxicity free fire resistance polyolefin insulation material and electric field dependence of tree shape in low density polyethylene (LDPE). One of the most serious causes of failure in high-voltage cables, can be an electrical discharge across an internal gab or void in the insulating material. Treeing due to partial discharge is one of the main causes of breakdown in the insulating materials and reduction of the insulation life. Therefore the necessity for establishing a method to diagnose the aging of insulation materials and to predict the breakdown of insulation and research of the fire resistance character has become important. First, we have studied on electric field dependence of tree shape in LDPE about treeing phenomena occurring on the high electrical field. Second, the measurement method is the attenuation quantity of irradiation by smoke accumulating with in a closed chamber due to non-flaming heat decomposition and flaming combustion. A main cause of fire-growth and generating toxic gas when, it bums, should be dealt with great care in life. safety design. The fire gases were occurred carbon monoxide and decomposition than in polyolefin due to incomplete combustion of PVC, which has high content of carbon in chemical compound.

  • This test was performed to assess the correlation between insulation diagnostic tests and breakdown voltage strength of the stator winding of 6.6kV class induction motor in insulation deterioration condition which have been in service for 5 years after being installed in 1998. The insulation diagnostic tests include resistance, polarization index(P.I), dissipation factor(${\triangle}tan{\delta}$), maximum partial discharges(Qmax) and AC breakdown test. we evaluated the correlation between insulation diagnostic test and AC breakdown test for stator winding of high voltage induction motor.

  • Ferroelectric properties and reliability characteristics of(111) and (100) preferentially oriented tetragonal Pb(Zr0.2Ti0.8)O3 (PZT) thin film capacitors have been investigated as a function of the top electrode thickness. The (111) preferentially oriented film exhibits 180$^{\circ}$domain switching process with better squareness of hysterisis loop and abrupt change of small singal capacitance-voltage comparing to the (100) preferentially oriented film having 90$^{\circ}$ domain switching process. The domain swithcing process of tetragonal phase PZT is different from that of rhobohedral phase. The film with thinner top electrode shows less initial switching polarization due to less compressive stress but it exhibits better endurance characteristics due to enhancing partial switching region.

  • This paper is purpose to understand the dissipation factor properties of the oil-filled large transformer according to the oil filtering. In order to know the insulation characteristic change by insulating oil filtering, we carried out the insulation diagnostic test for the same transformer before oil filtering and after. The insulation diagnosis tests are consist of the megger, the polarization index, the AC current test, the dissipation factor test and the partial discharge test, Especially we took notice of dissipation factor change, we analyzed and made a comparison of the two cases test result.
