This paper is a study on the design of the solar lamp bank which is a very important part of the solar simulator with the commercial metal halide lamps and infrared lamps. Lamp Bank is designed by the lamp bank design program based on point light source theory. The reliability of the program for lamp bank design is verified through irradiance variation experiments of a kind of lamp according to horizontal distance. Solar lamp bank facilitates heat distribution and satisfies the irradiance in the three wave length which test guidelines require. The shape of the ceiling board next to the lamp bank to promote the lamp cooling efficiency and to reduce temperature deviation and air velocity deviation in the chamber is so creative. The ceiling board of partial closed type is the best among several types.

복합화력발전소 에너지절감 사업으로 폐열회수용 흡수식 히트펌프가 설치됨에 따라 부분부하(Partial Load)에서의 성능 데이터 확인을 위해 성능시험을 실시하였다. 부분 부하에서 히트펌프 가동에 따른 운전 데이터 변화는 다음과 같다. 기기냉각수(CCW) 배열 및 배열회수열교환기(HRSG)로부터 공급되는 저압증기(LP STM)의 일부가 히트펌프의 열원으로 공급되므로 지역난방열 생산이 증대된다. 그러나 증기터빈으로 공급되는 저압증기의 유량감소에 따라 증기터빈 출력이 감소된다. 또한 고압 지역난방열교환기(HP-DH) 및 저압 지역난방열교환기(LP-DH)로 공급되는 고압터빈(HPT) 배기증기의 유량 저하에 따라 HP-DH 및 LP-DH의 열생산량도 감소한다. 부분부하에서는 정격부하 대비 히트펌프에 운전에 따른 터빈 출력 저하가 큰 것으로 나타났으며, 이에 따라 부분 부하에서는 발전소 전체의 열 생산 증가량, 전기출력 감소량을 종합적으로 고려하여 히트펌프 운전 여부를 결정해야 한다.

Background: Closed reduction of nasal fracture with various instrument is performed to treat nasal fracture. Depending on the type of nasal fracture and the situation in which it is being operated, the surgeon will determine the surgical tool. The objective of this study was to investigate whether a periosteal elevator (PE) was a proper device to perform closed reduction for patients with simple nasal fractures. Methods: From March 2018 to December 2018, 50 cases of simple nasal bone fracture underwent closed reduction performed by a single surgeon. These patients were divided into two groups randomly: nasal bone reduction was performed using only PE (freer) and nasal bone reduction was performed using Walsham, Asch forcep, and Boies elevator (non-freer, non-PE). Results: The paranasal sinus computed tomography was performed on patients before and after operation to carry out an accurate measurement of reduction distance at the same level. According to the results, the interaction between instruments and fracture types had a significant influence on reduction distance (p = 0.021). To be specific, reduction distance was significantly (p= 0.004) increased by 2.157 mm when PE was used to treat patients with partial displacement compared to that when non-PEs were used. Conclusion: Closed reduction using PE and other elevator is generally an effective treatment for nasal fracture. In partial-displacement type of simple nasal fracture, closed reduction using PE can have considerable success in comparison with using classic instruments.

Seven patients had undergone repair of endocardial cushion defect from Jan. 1977 to Dec. 1984 at National Medical Center. Most patients had no associated anomalies except one who had PFO, and mortality case was absent. Five patients had partial ECD and two had complete ECD [Rastelli type A]. In P-ECD patients, the atrial septal defect was closed with patch in all cases and mitral cleft was approximated with 2-3 direct stitches. In two cases of C-ECD, atrial and ventricular septal defect was closed with single patch in one case and atrial septal defect was closed with patch but ventricular septal defect was closed with patch but ventricular septal defect was closed it direct suture in the other case. Atrioventricular cleft was approximated with 2-3 direct sutures. Postop. transient A-V block was noted in 2 cases but returned to regular sinus rhythm after 2 to 6 months.

Let X be a complex manifold of dimension n $n{\geqslant}2$ and let ${\Omega}{\Subset}X$ be a weakly q-convex domain with smooth boundary. Assume that E is a holomorphic line bundle over X and $E^{{\otimes}m}$ is the m-times tensor product of E for positive integer m. If there exists a strongly plurisubharmonic function on a neighborhood of $b{\Omega}$, then we solve the ${\bar{\partial}}$-problem with support condition in ${\Omega}$ for forms of type (r, s), $s{\geqslant}q$ with values in $E^{{\otimes}m}$. Moreover, the solvability of the ${\bar{\partial}}_b$-problem on boundaries of weakly q-convex domains with smooth boundary in $K{\ddot{a}}hler$ manifolds are given. Furthermore, we shall establish an extension theorem for the ${\bar{\partial}}_b$-closed forms.

A class of autonomous control systems with fixed unknown parameters is considered to be stabilized with respect to only a part of the variables. A certain type of such systems can be recursively adaptively partially stabilized. The bifurcation analysis reveals the nature of the closed loop system.

Twelve patients had undergone repair of atrioventricular septal defects. Age at operation ranged from 2.4 years to 17 years[mean, 8.25 years]. Five patients were male and seven were female. Three patients had complete atrioventricular septal defect[Rastelli type A] associated with Down`s syndrome. One of the three patient with complete atrioventricular septal defect had tetralogy of Fallot. Three patients had the intermediate form and seven patients had the partial form. The primum atrial septal defect was closed with pericardial patch. The atrioventricular valve septal commissure[mitral cleft] was closed with pledgeted sutures. Three complete atrioventricular septal defect were undergone by two-patch technique. A crescent-shaped Dacron patch was used to occlude the ventricular septal defect. One patient of partial form was sudden death 5 days postoperatively. There were no another complications after surgery. One patient underwent reoperation for opened mitral cleft 2.5 years postoperatively. New York Heart Association functional class of patients was improved postoperatively.

Thirteen patients underwent repair of atrioventricular septal defect [AVSD] from January 1980 to July 1989 at Kyungpook National University Hospital. Two patients had complete AVSD [Rastelli type A] and eleven patients had partial AVSD [ostium primum atrial septal defect and cleft of anterior mitral leaflet]. In all the patients of partial AVSD, atrial septal defect was closed with Dacron patch and the mitral cleft was approximated with interrupted simple sutures. In one patient of complete AVSD, one patch technique was used to close the atrial and ventricular septal defect, and in the other patient of complete AVSD, two patch technique was used. In six patients, there were associated anomalies; four had isolated ostium secundum ASD, two had patent foramen ovale. Postoperative complete A-V block was noted in a patient of partial AVSD, but it was returned to 1st degree A-V block 30 months later and in another case of partial AVSD, severe congestive heart failure [NYHA functional class IV] due to residual mitral insufficiency was developed postoperatively, but this patient was recovered to the state of functional class I after receiving mitral valve replacement. There was one hospital death [8 %] resulting from low cardiac output.

In this paper, we introduce a new concept of partial ordering which permits us to compare pairs of the dependence structures of a new hitting times for POD multivariate vector process of interest as to their degree of POD-ness. We show that POD ordering is closed under convolution, limit in distribution, compound distribution, mixture of a certain type and convex combination. Finally, we present several examples of POD ordering processes.

Let D be an arbitrary domain in $\mathbb{C}^n$, n > 1, and $M{\subset}{\partial}D$ be an open piece of the boundary. Suppose that M is connected and ${\partial}D$ is smooth real-analytic of finite type (in the sense of D'Angelo) in a neighborhood of $\bar{M}$. Let f : $D{\rightarrow}\mathbb{C}^n$ be a holomorphic correspondence such that the cluster set $cl_f$(M) is contained in a smooth closed real-algebraic hypersurface M' in $\mathbb{C}^n$ of finite type. It is shown that if f extends continuously to some open peace of M, then f extends as a holomorphic correspondence across M. As an application, we prove that any proper holomorphic correspondence from a bounded domain D in $\mathbb{C}^n$ with smooth real-analytic boundary onto a bounded domain D' in $\mathbb{C}^n$ with smooth real-algebraic boundary extends as a holomorphic correspondence to a neighborhood of $\bar{D}$.
