임산부를 위한 주차구획의 규모설정에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Size Planning of Parking-Block for Pregnant Women)

  • Purpose and Methods: Currently, Korea has the lowest fertility rate among OECD countries. It is also true that from the aspect of encouraging childbirth policy, as the use of automobiles has increased, the interest in securing parking spaces has also become more important. However, there are efforts and researches on the supplying parking spaces for the general public in society not to the positive discrimination such as elders or pregnant women. On the other hand, there is a growing need for a dedicated parking space for pregnant women due to the changing social environment and increasing number of female drivers. At this point, proper design of the maternity parking spaces is essential. Therefore, this study is analyzing the characteristics of pregnant women such as measurements and certain actions and case studies of domestic and oversea. Through the analysis of these factors, the following results were derived. Results: First, it was determined that the important factor in the planning of the parking-block for pregnant women was the human body size of pregnant women. And the required dimensions of movement of pregnant women were derived. Second, the dimensions of automobile were analyzed and applied from the most used vehicles in the family composition. Third, after the observations, the status of the parking spaces of the pregnant women and observations showed that the drivers not only the pregnant women but others were using the spaces improperly. Fourth, at certain conditions of the parking spaces, in order to improve the efficiency of the parking spaces, it is necessarily considered that the usage of designated accessible parking spaces can be used together by not only the disabled but also to the passengers who are classified as 'transportation weak' such as pregnant women. Implications: In this study, the researcher will propose the shape and size of the parking-block for pregnant women considering the elements derived above.

잔디주차장 시공을 위한 잔디블록 활용방안 (Practical Use of Vegetated Porous Pavement for the Construction of Grass Parking Lot)

  • The vegetated porous pavement can be installed as an alternative way to replace the traditional pavement, which contributes less to the water circulation system in the urban area. This study aims to an investigation based on the shadow and pressure of the vehicle system, where the turfgrass get grown and the green block get constructed on the grassy parking lot. This study might achieve these conclusions, in the case of use 'green block' makes grass parking lot, plant a kind of 'zenith' and takes sod thickness 40 mm are more efficient for turfgrass growth in the early times. In the case of parking over 8 hours in a day, after 5 weeks turfgrass growth would come into reduce. So over 4 hours parking and after 9 weeks, we need consider to setting up green block in grassy parking lot. The grassy ground would get pressured by the vehicles' load and it would bring into some damage due to the load after 3 weeks. So we should put the grass's growth root point under the designed a top of 'green block' level. When the vehicle amounts and parking density is in a low level, it could be an environmentally friendly product.

  • There are several ways to solve parking problem in the downtown. One of them is to manage parking efficiently, that is, to raise use-efficiency of parking place and to help in the block efficiently, it can prevent disproportion that some parking space is over capacity and the other parking one is under. It causes not only the disproportion of economic efficiency but also the congestion of local road. The precondition to manage parking efficiently is to analyse the parking characteristics. In this paper we build up total D/B by collecting every information about parking space. We developed the Parking Management System by using RFID and Sensor. The efficient Parking Management System is for convenience of drivers and efficient usage of parking space. And this system is also the basic study to be developed as the total Parking Management System by upgrading every information.

And this system is also the basic study to be developed as the total Parking Management System by upgrading every information.

한국과 일본의 가구형 집합주택의 거주후평가 비교연구 (A Comparative Study on the Block Housing of Korea and Japan by Post Occupancy Evaluation)

  • In modern Asia major cities had same problem with lack of affordable housing for families. So they had to concentrate to the mass supply of housing and made some physical counter effects like high density of cities, limitation of parking space. Also people who lived in those cities could suffer from broken traditional community culture. To rebuild traditional community and increase land usage, Block housing is suggested as a new kind of multi-family housing for old town redevelopment. Now some governments are trying to make urban code to give some initiative for new block housing development in old city blocks. They expect this new housing type can help to solve serious problems like lack of parking area, green space and context of block. Also they hope that block housing development can help to increase safety of town and reduce cost of development. The purpose of this study is to review the establishment and development process of Block Housing and to confirm the aspect which has been changed with urban organization together. Also this study tried to find out the intentional characteristics of similarities and differences with comparison of Korea and Japan. And as a result we could find critical physical viewpoint, and provide considerations for future study and plan. Several cases of block housing in Korea and Japan were reviewed for comparative study and Post Occupancy Evaluation (POE) survey was examined to find satisfaction factors and problems which were expected to improved.

주차 지정된 공용 환경에서 도심 생활자의 주차 관리시스템 연구 (A Study on The Parking Management System for Urban Residents in Designated Parking Space Environment)

  • 본 연구에서, 개인 차량이 주차할 수 있는 지정 공간 및 정의된 개인사용 시간에 다른 차량이 주차하여 있는 경우 초음파 물체 인식 센서를 활용하여 차량 진입을 파악하고, 그리고 카메라 센서가 번호판을 인식한다. 만일 개인 차량 소유자가 인정한 차량이 아닌 경우, 어플리케이션 서버의 "개인 주차장 운영 블록"은 경찰청의 차량 번호정보 조회 Open API를 근거로 개인의 전화번호를 받는다. 이후 주차 처리시 비권리권자는 주차 권리권자의 승인을 받아서 인정되는 시간만큼 주차를 하고 주차요금을 시청 공공 계좌에 입금한다. 본 연구를 통하여, 시청이 인정해준 개인 주차 공간에서 도심의 주차관리를 가장 효과적으로 할 수 있는 운영 처리 방법을 찾을 수 있었다.

투수성 잔디블록 포장 하부 토양의 물리성 (Physical Properties of Soils under the Grass Block Porous Pavements)

  • Impervious pavement is primary contributor to the malfunctioning of the urban water circulation system. The aim of this research is to provide basic information and data for new pavement materials and paving technology which could enhance the urban water circulation system. For the study purposes, physical properties of soils sampled from 16 stations were analyzed. The sampling spots were paved with grass block porous pavement material. The findings from the analysis are as follows. The hardness of soils under the pavement was $17{\sim}22mm$ for thoroughfare and $6{\sim}32mm$ for parking areas. The bulk density was $1.42{\sim}1.81g/cm^{3}$ for thoroughfare and $1.38{\sim}1.75g/cm^{3}$ for parking area. The solid phase ration was $46.9{\sim}62.5m^{3}/m^{3}$ for thoroughfare and $45.6{\sim}61.3m^{3}/m^{3}$ for parking area. The porosity was $37.5{\sim}53.1m^{3}/m^{3}$ for thoroughfare and $38.7{\sim}54.4m^{3}/m^{3}$ for parking area. The saturated hydraulic conductivity was $8{\sim}164mm/hr$ for thoroughfare and $14{\sim}201mm/hr$ for parking area. The saturated hydraulic conductivity of the H sample area (the area was completed three months ago) and that of the other area were compared. There was up to 80% decreases of the saturated hydraulic conductivity within one year after the completion of pavement. After the first year, decrease in the saturated hydraulic conductivity was modest. Also there are changes in both surface and under soil physical properties of the grass block porous pavement depending on compaction. The extent of change depends on the degree of compaction. All these factors are combined to influence the permeability of the soil under the pavements. The results of this suggest that it is required to develop a new pavement technology which ensures both the durability and porosity of the pavement to improve the water circulation system by applying Ecological Area Rate.

주차원단위 산정 모형 개발에 관한 연구 -광주광역시 공동 주택 아파트를 대상으로- (Development of Estimation Models for Parking Units -Focused on Gwangju Metropolitan City Condominium Apartments-)

  • 도시의 급격한 팽창과 함께 주택부족 현상이 나타나게 되자, 정부는 주택부족 문제 해결을 위해 대규모 택지개발을 통하여 주택보급을 확대시켰다. 이러한 현상으로, 공동주택은 우리나라 전체 주택의 83% 수준을 유지하고 있고, 그 중 아파트가 차지하는 비중은 50%로 꾸준한 증가 추세를 보이고 있다. 이로 인해 아파트의 경우 입주민들의 승용차 보유 증가에 따른 아파트 단지 내 주차공간 부족문제 등 제반 주차 관련 문제가 발생하고 있다. 특히, 주차계획대수 수립 시 교통영향평가의 주차수요예측 중 전용면적을 고려한 주차원단위 산정 방법은 기존 계획보다 세대수는 증가하여도 전용면적이 작아지면 계획주차대수는 감소하는 것으로 나타나, 보다 현실적인 주차원단위 산정이 필요한 실정이다. 이에 본 연구는 공공주택 아파트를 대상으로 현실에 적합한 주차원단위를 산정하고자 한다. 현장조사 및 설문조사를 실시하고, 구득자료에 대한 분석을 수행함으로써, 기존 교통영향평가의 주차원단위 산정 문제점을 도출하였다. 또한, 주차수요예측에 영향을 미치는 요인 선정을 통해 주차원단위 산정모형을 개발하였다. 마지막으로 실제 조사된 아파트 주차원단위 자료를 통해 기존 교통영향평가의 주차원단위 산정과 본 연구에서 제시한 주차원단위 산정모형을 비교 분석하였다. 향후 본 연구에서 개발된 주차원단위 산정모형은 주차장법 기준 정립은 물론 보다 현실적인 주차수요예측 수행에 적극 활용될 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

A New Vehicle Detection Method based on Color Integral Histogram

  • In this paper, a novel vehicle detection algorithm is proposed that utilizes the color histogram of the image. The color histogram is used to search the image for regions with shadow, block symmetry, and block non-homogeneity, thereby detecting the vehicle region. First, an integral histogram of the input image is computed to decrease the amount of required computation time for the block color histograms. Then, shadow detection is performed and the block symmetry and block non-homogeneity are checked in a cascade manner to detect the vehicle in the image. Finally, the proposed scheme is applied to both still images taken in a parking lot and an on-road video sequence to demonstrate its effectiveness.

  • Recently, the maintenance period of sidewalk pavement proposed in Ministry of Construction & Transportation to be extended by more than 10 years. Therefore it takes many interests in Durability and the maintenance. Beside sidewalk pavement, block pavement happened problems in parking and road less than 20km/hr about bearing capacity and durability, the maintenance. It interests about importance of environmentally friendly sidewalk pavement. It compared engineering characteristics about strength and durability through general pavement comparison with stone block pavement. It estimate bearing capacity in actual si-tu site and test site. It experimented plate bearing test and field density test. It verified about durability of pavement by construction availability of geosynthetics that is constructed by purpose of filter. Stone block pavement evaluated about application of sidewalk/road pavement on the basis of result.
