A study of basic developmental model for experiential farm - Case study on the farm of Sucheong Village located in Gyeonggi Province - (농촌체험농장 개발모형 연구 - 수청마을농장을 중심으로 -)

  • The agricultural tourism is something that urban people can have an experience of the traditional culture and knowledge of the agriculture, so that it result the improvement of the agricultural profit and keep the special agricultural system. Recently, the demand of the agricultural tourism was increasing, but it was not really enough today that the practice of the tourism for essential farm experience or physical plan. The experiments were practiced by a land in Sucheong-li, Namjong-myun, Gwangju-si, Gyeonggi-do which provides the program for the basic plan and management of the experiential farm, so it shows a developmental model of that typical farm. The basic design of developmental model was formed by the analysis of the natural, civilized and visual environments. The site plan for the experiential farm was composed of a parking lot, public facilities, resting place, experiential site, sports facilities and pedestrian space. There was an examination that the activation of experiential farm should change the concept of the big production or labor-focused farm from a tourism-focused form.

  • 급격한 차량 수요의 증가로 인한 주차공간의 부족으로 인력기반 주차관리의 한계점을 이용한 여러 위법 행위가 발생함에 따라 관리자의 정기적인 순찰 및 관리의 필요성이 증가하고 있다. 기존 인력기반 주차관리 시스템은 관리자에게 전적으로 의존하고 있어 관리의 정확도 및 효율성이 비교적 낮다. 본 논문에서는 엣지 컴퓨팅 기반의 클라우드 주차관리 시스템을 제안하며, 이는 효율적인 주차관리를 통한 시간과 노동력 절감에 기여한다. 본 시스템이 제공하는 주요 기능은 다음과 같다. 1) 주차구역 및 주차 차량 정보를 분석하여 입·출차를 관리하고 관리자에게 실시간 주차 현황 정보를 제공한다. 2) 추출된 차량 정보를 바탕으로 부정주차 여부를 감지하여 지정주차 구역 관리를 자동화한다. 3) 관리자에게 시간대별 주차구역 점유율 정보를 제공하여 거주자의 가용 주차공간을 확보한다. 4) 거주자의 선호 주차구역 및 시간대를 파악하여 거주자의 주차 편의성을 제공한다. 위 기능을 통해 기존 주차관리의 비효율성을 개선하고자 한다.

An Optimization Model for Determining the Number of Military Cargo-plane (군용 수송기 소요 산정 최적화 모형)

  • In contemporary global warfare, the significance and imperative of air transportation have been steadily growing. The Republic of Korea Air Force currently operates only light and medium-sized military cargo planes, but does not have a heavy one. The current air transportation capability is limited to meet various present and future air transport needs due to lack of performance such as payload, range, cruise speed and altitude. The problem of population cliffs and lack of airplane parking space must also be addressed. These problems can be solved through the introduction of heavy cargo planes. Until now, most studies on the need of heavy cargo plane and increasing air transport capability have focused on the necessity. Some of them suggested specific quantity and model but have not provided scientific evidence. In this study, the appropriate ratio of heavy cargo plane suitable for the Korea's national power was calculated using principal component analysis and cluster analysis. In addition, an optimization model was established to maximize air transport capability considering realistic constraints. Finally we analyze the results of optimization model and compare two alternatives for force structure.

Parcel Locker Locations and Dynamic Vehicle Routing Problem with Traffic Congestion (교통 체증을 고려한 물품 보관함 위치 및 동적 차량 경로 문제)

  • Due to the complexity of urban area, the city vehicle routing problem has been a difficult problem. The problem has involved factors such as parking availability, road conditions, and traffic congestion, all of which increase transportation costs and delivery times. To resolve this problem, one effective solution can be the use of parcel lockers located near customer sites, where products are stored for customers to pick up. When a vehicle delivers products to a designated parcel locker, customers in the vicinity must pick up their products from that locker. Recently, identifying optimal locations for these parcel lockers has become an important research issue. This paper addresses the parcel locker location problem within the context of urban traffic congestion. By considering dynamic environmental factors, we propose a Markov decision process model to tackle the city vehicle routing problem. To ensure more real situations, we have used optimal paths for distances between two nodes. Numerical results demonstrate the viability of our model and solution strategy.

Improvement of Outdoor Spaces for the Children's Safety in Public Rental Housing (어린이 안전을 위한 공공임대주택단지 외부공간 환경개선에 관한 연구)

  • Public rental housing in Korea has been initially provided for residential stability of low-income household focusing on solving quantitative insufficiency since 1980s. In the process of early stage of designing and planning public rental housing, qualitative aspects of considering children were not primary concern. This study aims to analyze the priority of environmental improvement of outdoor spaces for children's safety in public rental housing. First, literature review was performed in the reference of local residential safety guidelines, Universal Design, and CPTED guidelines. In each guidelines, common safety planning factors for children were extracted within different types of outdoor spaces. Second, based on literature analysis, residents evaluated importance and satisfaction level by different safety types, outdoor space type, and environmental planning factors. In results, residents evaluated high importance and showed low satisfaction for crime and traffic safety. Through IPA, facilities and parking space was evaluated where improvement is needed for the first priority, and planning factors were mostly concerned with surveillance and safety management system. Result shows general concern of public rental housing residents, about weak facility management and security system, and about socially isolated environment which heightened the fear of crime safety. Overall, poor maintenance of the complex environment and decrepit facilities are constantly raising risk of safety accidents especially for children. Considering residents' concern, environmental improvement should be considered in perspective of not only physical repair, but also facility management and security system.

  • The KUH-1's Wheel Brake Assembly which is Brake System is an essential component to perform flight mission for pilot. It has function of taxing, differential braking and parking to sustain landing capability. However, the skid and abrasion of tire were occurred in mass-produce operation. Also, if it is occurred on the ground, the flight can not be performed. In this case, the defect is a major cause of the decrease in the operation rate of aircraft. In this paper, the cause of the defect in flight was identified and the failure process was organized. Also, it describes design improvements which was derived from troubleshooting and suggests verification results of flight test.

A Case Study on Active Usage of the Storage Space Outside Housing Unit of Residential Complex (공동주택 세대외부창고의 활성화 방안을 위한 사례 연구)

  • This study aims to analyze the cases of storage space outside housing unit and propose the activation plan. The issue of storage in residential complex has continued to be reported. This is more salient due to the recent preference trend for small houses, the constant increase of living goods and the limitation of the available space inside housing unit. Although more apartment houses are trying to have individual storage in the exterior space to address these issues, there is still a paucity of the related studies and more studies are required. In this study, we conducted on-site investigation and user interview of each case to propose active usage of the storage space outside housing unit. Result of this study shows that the most crucial factor to improve is 'accessibility' in order to activate the storage space. Storage room should be located close to each household or the individual parking space. The second factor is the size and the structure of the storage room. The sufficient space for keeping and taking large objects out are required. The front of the storage room should have a clogged structure to insure privacy. The third is the provision of suitable support programs such as the system that occupants can check remotely what items are in their storage rooms, garage sale, laundry service, auto cleaning system and rental program. Those programs are required for efficient management and activation of space. Another requirement is to improve environmental factors which include maintenance of optimal temperature and humidity, automatic ventilation system, control of individual lights, and security enhancement. Based on the results of the survey, we provide basic data which can be used for practical space planning to activate exterior storage space of the housing unit. Further surveys are required to develop this study by obtaining more data for generalization.

Design and Implementation of A Location Positioning System based on ZigBee Tags in Apartment (ZigBee 태그기반 아파트 위치인식시스템 설계 및 구현)

  • Location awareness is one of the key functions to build U-city. Recently, many of works for location-aware systems are emerging to commercially apply to on-going large-scale apartment complex. As dwellers or cars being attached with active tags are moving in the U-city complex, the active tags periodically broadcast their own identifiers mu routers fixed along the street or in a building use those information to calculate location of thorn. There are several issues to be considered for such an environment. In this paper we propose i) a new architecture for location-aware system considering such issues ii) technical issues to implement it using active tags, and iii) a mathematical analytic model to investigate overall performance and verify it by comparing with actual experimental results. Through mathematical analysis, we can show that it is more efficient for the routers to send location signals than the tags do. We also show that there are several additional services available in the apartment complex. We conduscted several experiments hi a real ease parking lot to show that our system can locate the location of dwellers or cars.

Therefore, in this paper it can inquire state of electronic, furniture devices through apartment complex web server and gear that control groove network at smart phone, and control, and confirms home state prevention of crimes state, and video inquiry of position that CCTV is placed in apartment complex was available. And it proposed integrated smart apartment with parking system and medical system using RFID system in ubiquitous environment.

A Study on Recognition of Both of New & Old Types of Vehicle Plate (신, 구 차량 번호판 통합 인식에 관한 연구)

  • Recently, the color of vehicle license plate has been changed from green to white. Thus the vehicle plate recognition system used for parking management systems, speed and signal violation detection systems should be robust to the both colors. This paper presents a vehicle license plate recognition system, which works on both of green and white plate at the same time. In the proposed system, the image of license plate is taken from a captured vehicle image by using morphological information. In the next, each character region in the license plate image is extracted based on the vertical and horizontal projection of plate image and the relative position of individual characters. Finally, for the recognition process of extracted characters, PCA(Principal Component Analysis) and LDA(Linear Discriminant Analysis) are sequentially utilized. In the experiment, vehicle license plates of both green background and white background captured under irregular illumination conditions have been tested, and the relatively high extraction and recognition rates are observed.
