This study was objected to figure out the soil microarthropod fauna in forests with different flora, and to elucidate how environmental factors affect the diversity of soil microarthropods. Relationships between the distribution density of soil microarthropods and environmental factors were correlated positively with organic matter and C/N ratio. By the calculation of the contribution coefficients, organic matter, amount of precipitation, C/N ratio, and soil moisture were found to be major environmental factors that affect the distribution of soil microarthropods.

In adaptive fuzzy control, fuzzy systems are used to approximate the unknown plant nonlinearities. However, because of the approximating error introduced into the feedback loop, it is difficult to guarantee the stability of the adaptive control algorithm. This paper presents a robust control algorithm against the reconstruction error and uniform boundedness of the all signals is estabilished in the Lyapunov sense.

The paper discussed for energy saving technology of electric arc furnace (EAF) in steel making industry. The energy of EAF in steel making process is nearly 10% of total manufacturing cost. This paper is shown new trand of energy saving technology and future study analysis of technological evolution of the EAF by 2010 issued IISI.

This paper addresses the problem of designing robust adaptive output tracking control for a class of MIMO nonlinear systems which have different number of inputs and outputs The stability of the whole closed-loop system is guaranteed in the sense of Lyapunov and uniformly Itimately boundedness of the tracking error vector as well as estimated parameters are shown. In addition, we show that the restrictive assumptions on input gain matrix which is presumed in the past works can be eliminated by using proposed control law.

Pepper anthracnose is one of the major limiting factors in pepper production. Boring last over 10 years, Colletotrichum gloeosporioides has been known as the most prevalent species among five Colletotrichum spp. involved as anthracnose causing agents. Recently, however, the change of major species with pepper anthracnose has been proposed. Identification study was peformed on 12 test isolates collected from anthracnose disease symptoms on pepper during 2001-2002 and 25 reference isolates obtained from several other host plants. The identification of the isolates with morphological observation and IfS region sequence comparison resulted that 11 ones from 12 test isolates colleted from pepper anthracnose during 2001-2002 were identified as C. acutatum. PCR using species-specific primers designed from ITS region sequence suggested a rapid diagnosis method in identifying C. acutatum from C. gloeosporioides.
