평면 및 수직 운동하는 카메라에서 유용한 영상 역투영 속성들 (Useful Image Back-projection Properties in Cameras under Planar and Vertical Motion)

  • Autonomous vehicles equipped with cameras, such as robots, fork lifts, or cars, can be found frequently in industry sites or usual life. Those cameras show planar motion because the vehicles usually move on a plane. Sometimes the cameras in fork lifts moves vertically. The cameras under planar and vertical motion provides useful properties for horizontal or vertical lines that can be found easily and frequently in our daily life. In this paper, some useful back-projection properties are suggested, which can be applied to horizontal or vertical line images captured by a camera under planar and vertical motion. The line images are back-projected onto a virtual plane that is parallel to the planar motion plane and has the same orientation at the camera coordinate system regardless of camera motion. The back-projected lines on the virtual plane provide useful information for the world lines corresponding to the back-projected lines, such as line direction, angle between two horizontal lines, length ratio of two horizontal lines, and vertical line direction. Through experiments with simple plane polygons, we found that the back-projection properties were useful for estimating correctly the direction and the angle for horizontal and vertical lines.

Magnetic Orientations of Bull Sperm Treated by DTT or Heparin

  • This paper describes the magnetic orientation of the intact and demembranated bull sperm treated by DTT or heparin in a 5,400 G static field. Semen samples collected from four bulls (Japanese Black) were mixed to the same sperm density. One percentage triton X-100 was used to extract the plasma membrane. The intact and demembranated sperm suspensions were treated with 20, 200, 2,000 mM DTT, 100, 1,000 or 10,000 units heparin solutions at $4{^{\circ}C}$ for 6 days. The decondensation of the sperm nuclei treated by DTT or heparin was examined by measuring the sperm head area at 1, 3, and 6 days. After measuring the area, each sperm sample was exposed to a 5,400 G static magnetic field generated by Nd-Fe-B permanent magnets for 24 hours at room temperature. Results showed that the decondensation of bull sperm nuclei was not induced by the heparin treatment, however, incomplete decondensation was induced by the DTT treatment. During the magnetic orientation, bull sperms treated by DTT or heparin had low percentages of long axis perpendicular to the magnetic lines of force. However, different aspects were obtained for long axis perpendicular orientations following treatment of DTT or heparin. Through the DTT treatment, the decline of long axis perpendicularly oriented percentages was due to the increase of long axis parallel orientation with the head of the flat plane perpendicular to the magnetic lines of force, whereas, using the heparin treatment, the decline of long axis perpendicular orientation was due to the increment of long axis parallel orientation with the head of the flat plane parallel to the magnetic lines of force. Also, percentages of the head of the flat plane perpendicular were decreased by the heparin treatment. These findings suggest that maintaining the structure of protamine in the chromatin is necessary for the sperm head to orient with its flat plane perpendicular, and maintaining the disulfide bond in the chromatin is necessary for the long axis of sperm to orient perpendicularly.

비규칙 종속성을 가진 루프의 확장된 세지역 분할 방법 (Extended Three Region Partitioning Method of Loops with Irregular Dependences)

  • 본 논문은 비규칙 종속성을 가진 내포된 루프의 수행 속도를 향상시키기 위해서 Extended Three Region Partitioning Method 라는 효과적인 루프 분할 방법에 대해서 연구하였다. 본 논문에서 제안된 루프 분할 방법은 변수 재명명에 의해서 역종속성을 가진 내포된 루프를 제거한 후 네 개의 선중에 하나 혹은 그 이상의 적절한 선을 선택하는 알고리즘을 개발한다. 한 개의 선이 선택되면 선택된 선에 의해서 전체 영역은 두 개의 병렬지역으로 분할된다. 한 개 이상의 선이 선택되면 그 선들에 의해서 하나의 순차지역과 두 개의 병렬지역으로 분할한다. 제안된 분할 방법은 기존의 분할 방법보다 성능이 우수함을 성능 분석에서 보여준다.

화학적 빔 에피탁시에 의한 평면구조에서의 InP/InGaAs 다층구조의 선택적 영역 에피 성장 (Selective Epitaxy Growth of Multiple-Stacked InP/InGaAs on the Planar Type by Chemical Beam Epitaxy)

  • Chemical beam epitaxy 성장법으로 InP/InGaAs 다층구조의 선택적 영역 에피성장 (selective area epitaxy)을 하였다. <011> 방향에 평행한 직선패턴에서는 선폭이 작아지고, <01-1> 방향에 평행한 직선패턴에서는 선폭이 증가하는 현상이 나타났는데 이는 InGaAs의 <311>A와 B면이 <01-1> 방향에 평행한 직선패턴에서 성장되었기 때문으로 설명되었다. 성장속도가 $1\;{\mu}m/h$인 조건에서 5족 가스의 압력이 감소할수록 (100) 면 위에서 평평한 에피층이 성장되었는데 이는 5족 가스의 과포화현상에 의한 3족 원소의 표면이동으로 설명하였다.

CPW와 Offset 결합 전송선로를 이용한 비대칭 다단 분배기 (Unequal Multi-Section Power Divider using CPW and Offset Coupled Transmission Lines)

  • 본 논문은 1:3과 1:4 분배 비율을 갖는 비대칭 분배기를 CPW와 offset 결합 전송선로를 이용하여 다단 구조로 구현한 것이다. 이 분배기는 다단 구조의 전송선로와 캐패시터와 저항이 병렬로 연결된 회로로 구성되어 있다. 다단 전송선로는 임의의 임피던스로 종단된 ${\lambda}/4$ 단일 전송선로를 분해하여 그것을 $90^{\circ}$ 전기적 길이보다 짧은 다단 전송선로로 정합시키는 방법으로 구현하였고, RC 병렬회로는 출력 포트의 반사계수와 출력 포트 사이의 고립 특성을 얻기 위해서 전송선로 사이에 연결하였다. 이러한 방법으로 2 GHz에서 설계된 전력분배기는 각 단의 전송선로는 ${\lambda}/4$보다 짧게 구현되어 기존 것 보다 최소 27% 작게 구현하였고, 광 대역 특성을 얻을 수 있음을 확인하였다.

초등학교(初等學校) 교사동(校舍棟) 유형(類型)에 관한 조사연구(調査硏究) - 충북지역(忠北地域) 공립학교(公立學校)를 중심(中心)으로 - (A Survey on the Block Type of Elementary School Buildings - Focused on Chungbuk Province in Korea -)

  • The purpose of this study is to clarify the block type of school buildings based on present conditions, by picking up elementary school buildings of Chungbuk Province in Korea. The summary of the block types can be given below. 1) Elementary school buildings(495) in Chungbuk Province are almost built in an average block of 1.7school(290). 2) The block types of school buildings are classified with "-", "ㄱ", "ㄷ", and parallel type. There are many "-" types over and parallel types in the second place of them. 3) The "-" block types are uniformly distributed with 166 elementary schools, below 6 classroom, 7through 24classrooms, beyond 25 classrooms. The "ㄱ" block types are 8 schools, and built as the wing of "-" block type in a limited space. The parallel types are classified with 2 3 lines according to the numbers of paralleled school buildings. The 2 parallel types are firstly represented with more than 95 classrooms, and 5 schools of "ㄷ" types, built as the wing of 2 parallel types, are only represented over 25 classrooms. The 3 parallel types are only 16 schools of all. They are uniformly seen in old and new school buildings.

  • A fault location algorithm that is suitable for parallel transmission line which contains a teed circuit is presented. The method uses only the local end voltage and current signals. Zero sequence currents of other lines are calculated by distribution factors, and distance equations are solved by recursive calculation.

  • New measurement method of coupled transmission line characteristics is described. This method presents precision calculated values of even- and odd-mode impedances and effective dielectric constants of mictostrip parallel coupled lines from the scalar quantities obtained by transmission coefficients at two different resonance frequencies. Measured impedances and effective dielctric constants are good agreement with predicted values.

  • This paper presents a single vision-based sel(-localization method in an corridor environment. We use the Hough transform for finding parallel lines and vertical lines. And we use these cross points as feature points and it is calculated relative distance from mobile robot to these points. For matching environment map to feature points, searching window is defined and self-localization is performed by matching procedure. The result shows the suitability of this method by experiment.

  • This paper reviews calculating of induced voltage onto a communication line from 22.9kV-Y Distribution Lines. The coexistence of both power line and communication line in parallel generates the induction of significant longitudinal voltage in the weak current line. In order to evaluate a precise induced voltage, this paper indicated some problems about coefficient and numerical formula. It also presents some induced voltage production technology standard application.
