  • ATC/ATO/TWC System is the used for the train operation instead of drivels. It is interfaced with train, train equipment, wayside facilities. In this paper described configuration signaling system, construction of signaling system software and structure of system safety.   • Generally, waterproof agent has been used only for the waterproof effect. But in this paper, through the durability test of concrete using inorganic waterproof agent, we recognized that the concrete using this agent is more excellent in some peculiar properties of durability than general concrete. In this paper, we did compressive strength test, permeability test, pore volume test, etc. And the conclusion is as followings. The concrete of using this agent is more excellent in economy, waterproof, durability, strength.

  • Objectives : The paper uses recitation test, one of the study and evaluation methods in the Korean Medical Classics, to provide a basis upon which thoughts can be given to the education of Korean Medicine, and furthermore the essence of education itself. Methods : 1. The paper reviewed how recitation tests were performed in Goryeo and Joseon. 2. The paper introduces the methods of applying recitation test to the education of the Korean Medical Classics and their results. The paper furthermore discussed possible improvements. 3. The paper pondered on the traditional aspects of the significances (principles) of recitation tests and their cognitive neuroscience aspects. Results : 1. The imperial examinations for medical officers during Goryeo and Joseon both performed recitation tests, and the subject of these tests were given more weight than other subjects. 2. Recitation test is a form of education that revolves around the learners. It requires a detailed plan of execution for it to be effective. 3. The significances (principles) of recitation test are reviewed from the aspect of cognitive neuroscience, and the deductions from the traditional aspects are made into "conceptual abstract, come to things & run out knowledge, and flash back." Conclusions : Recitation test was the humanity's way of conserving and conveying knowledge & wisdom from the times before the invention of letters. This method is the oldest education method of acquiring concepts that are generalized and made abstract through indirect experiences. This method is still effective today. In the education of the Korean Medical Classics, this method was used to supplement the public education method and create an education method that revolves around individual learner in a way that utilizes the strengths of education in apprenticeship.

Study on Influences and Elimination of Test Temperature on PDC Characteristic Spectroscopy of Oil-Paper Insulation System

  • Test temperature is an important factor affecting the measurement results of dielectric response of field power transformers. In order to better apply the polarization and depolarization current (PDC) to the condition monitoring of oil-paper insulation system in power transformers, the influences and elimination method of test temperature on PDC characteristic spectroscopy (PDC-CS) were investigated. Firstly, the experimental winding sample was measured by PDC method at different test temperatures, then the PDC-CS was obtained from the measurement results and its changing rules were discussed, which show that the PDC-CS appears a horizontal mobility with the rise of temperature. Based on the rules, the “time temperature shift technique” was introduced to eliminate the influence of test temperature. It is shown that the PDC-CS at different test temperatures can be converted to the same reference temperature coincident with each other.

A Study on the Development of Microorganism Test Strips (대장균군 검사용 간이 시험지 개발)

  • The objective of this study was to develop a paper strip which could determine E. coli qualitatively and quantitatively in water, wastewater, drinks, or food. This paper strip method was a simple and rapid test method that determine E. coli by visual identification. In this study, nutrient culture media were formulated and characterized for optimum conditions. Paper strips were then prepared by impregnating into the media and dried at $60^\circ$C. The test procedure is quite simple to use. The paper strip was dipped into a sample, and excess sample was removed. The strip was then incubated at $37^\circ$C for 16 to 20 hours and the number of colonies on the strip was counted. The color of the colony spots produced by microorganisms varied depending on the media formulation. Violet-red spots were produced by E. coli. The test method was simple, rapid and no special laboratory equipment was necessary for visual identification. Therefore, this test method is applicable to on-site tests such as field tests or home tests. The paper strip method was compared with the standard agar plate method and Japanese commercial product. The method of the economical preparation of test strips was studied for production on industrial scale.

  • The purpose of this study is to empirically investigate accuracy of paper-pencil test used in surveying control-display stereotype. For doing this, three paper-pencil tests dealing with stereotype for control-burner relationship of four-stove gas range, in which three different gas range images were provided, were performed and the results were compared with those of existing studies. The result of the paper-pencil test using simple image composed of line and circle was different from that of the real model simulation, while the results of the other two tests and a previous study providing more realistic images were the same as that of the real model simulation. Furthermore, the proportion of responses coinciding with the real model simulation increased as images used became closer to real range. It is concluded that the paper-pencil tests well designed using realistic images may produce the same stereotype as the real model simulation.

  • In this paper, the selection of a reliable accelerated life test code for a 2-ton forklift was accomplished by choosing the driving resistance coefficient failure-free test time based on a 10,000-hour B10 life. The overall life and average equivalent load of the vehicle were then calculated based on actual driving test conditions using the selected driving resistance coefficient. The gear train's accelerated life test code was selected by adjusting the equivalent load to a torque and rotation speed that did not exceed 125%(about 75HP) of the vehicle rated power. The safety of the test standards was validated by conducting an actual accelerated life test utilizing the proposed test method in this study and comparing the test result with the corresponding theoretical value. It is anticipated that the reliability of the accelerated life test in this paper will be enhanced, by incorporating actual driving performance data collected directly from the forklift and adjusting the conditions used in developing the accelerated life test code.

  • In this paper, we consider the entropy-based goodness of fit test (Vasicek's test) for a composite hypothesis. The test measures the discrepancy between the nonparametric entropy estimate and the parametric entropy estimate obtained from an assumed parametric family of distributions. It is shown that the proposed test is asymptotically normal under regularity conditions, but is affected by parameter estimates. As a remedy, a bootstrap version of Vasicek's test is proposed. Simulation results are provided for illustration.

  • Chitosan oligosaccharide, chitosan polysaccharide and monolaurin were used to impart the antimicrobial properties onto paper for food products . Staphylococcus aureus (ATCC 25923) was used as test microorganism and shake flask test was carried out in order to examine the antimicrobial activity of each sample. Chitosan oligosaccaride showed the greatest antimicrobial effect among them and gave the promising result even at the concentration of 0.005%. Its antimicrobial power was enhanced when it is used with nomolaurin together. Chitosan oligosaccharide improved the tensile strength of antimicrobial paper.
