Uniaxial tensile test are generally much simpler than uniaxial compressive test. Uniaxial compressive test is experimentally more difficult because of the low buckling resistance of a sheet of paper. In order to avoid buckling, many researchers have applied various lateral restraint techniques to investigate paper uniaxial compression behavior. Adding unnecessary force to inhibit compressive deformation of the sheet is unwanted, but sufficient force must be used to inhibit buckling. This study has been carried out to develop new uniaxial compressive standard test method without exerting unnecessary force to paper specimen to prevent buckling.

Due to the close relation between cointegration test and multiple unit roots test multiple unit roots test are greatly studied by many researchers,. In this paper we suggest the symmetric type unit roots test which is an adjusted method of Shin (1999) Also we have a small Monte-Carlo simulation study to compare the power of the statistic developed in this paper with those of Shin (1999) and adjusted Fuller statistic(1996)

Knowing the number of unit roots is important in the analysis of k-dimensional multivariate autoregressive process. In this paper we suggest simple multiple unit roots test statistics based on least squares estimator for the multivariate AR(1) process in which some eigenvalues are one and the rest are less than one in magnitude. The empirical distributions are tabulated for suggested test statistics. We have small Monte-Calro studies to compare the powers of the test statistics suggested by Johansen(1988) and in this paper.

In this paper, we use the moments of order statistics derived by Lieblein (1955) to develop the correlation goodness-of-fit test for the Rayleigh distribution. In such we simulate the percentage points of the test statistics for the one-parameter and two-parameter cases. In addition, we calculate the power of the proposed tests based on some alterative distributions. Finally, we apply the procedures developed in the paper to some real data.

In the present IEC 60427(2000), reduced applied voltage can be used for synthetic short-circuit making current tests if the maximum pre-arcing time of the test circuit breaker is less than $1/{\omega}$. But in the near future IEC, only the making tests with full test voltage shall be allowed. To meet this trend, KERI is preparing synthetic making test facilities using step-up transformer, ITMC and plasma making switch. This paper presents analytical characteristics of KERI's synthetic short-circuit making test circuits. The results of this paper can be useful for effective and adequate tests.

Power dissipated during test application is substantially higher than power dissipated during functional operation which can decrease the reliability and lead to yield loss. This paper presents a new technique for power minimization during test application in full scan sequential circuits. This paper shows freezing of combinational logic parts during scan shift operation in test mode. The freezing technique leads to power to minimization. Significant power reduction in the scan techniques is achieved on ISCAS 89 benchmarks.

This paper presents the procedure and the results of modal identification testing of a seismic monitoring system central processing unit cabinet for a nuclear power plant. This paper also provides a model updating for making effective analytical modeling of cabinet-type electrical equipment by comparing the test results with the analysis results. From the test results and their interpretation, modal properties (modal frequency, mode shape, and modal damping) of the specimen were satisfactorily identified. However, the analysis results may need to study further to find the effective and presentative model for the cabinet-type electrical equipment. This paper just presents the first stage of the research project "Development of dynamic behavior analysis technique of dynamic structure system" which is trying to build the lumped mass beam stick model even their results do not agree well with the test results.

The appointment of medical officials during the Joseon Dynasty was conducted through medical testing. To date, most of the research done on these tests has focused on the testing system and its formal qualities without any study of actual test cases. This paper considers the significance of the medical examination format and contents through a test paper contained in the book "Joseonuihaksageupjilbyeongsa (朝鮮醫學史及疾病史)" by MikiSakae (三木榮). The literature confirms that the medical exam paper is the same format as "Gangji (講紙)," and that the test format called "Gangseo (講書)" is a very high-level test. Therefore, analysis of the case suggests that the format of the medical examination reflects the demand for high-quality medical learning for applicants. This consideration is meaningful because existing medical test papers are very rare.

일반적으로 테스트 데이터 생성 방법들은 테스트 데이터를 자동으로 생성하기 위해서 완전한 프로그램 경로를 기술한 것을 요구한다. 이 논문에서는 프로그램 경로를 완전하게 명시하지 않아도 테스트 데이터를 자동으로 생성하는 새로운 방법을 제안한다. 이를 위해 이 논문에서는 테스트 대상 프로그램을 1차 관계 논리 언어인 Alloy로 변환하고 Alloy 분석기를 통하여 테스트 데이터를 생성하는 방법을 제안한다. 제안된 방법은 사용자로 하여금 프로그램 경로를 선택하도록 하는 부담을 덜어줄 뿐만 아니라 다양한 테스트 적합성 기준에 따라 테스트 데이터를 생성하는 일을 용이하게 한다. 간단하지만 설명에 도움이 될 수 있는 예들을 통하여 제안한 방법에 대해 설명한다.

OSI 모델에 입각한 기능확인 위주의 종래의 단순한 프로토콜 시험기법은 성능시험, 적합성시험, 상호접속시험으로 세분화되고 대상 프로토콜도 일대일, 일대다수(Point-to -multipoint)로 확장되었다. 본 논문에서는 시험항목 생성부분과 시험결과 분석기능을 공통 플랫폼으로 하고 시험 대상 프로토콜의 성격과 시험목적에 따라서 모듈화된 시험수행기부분을 선택적으로 변경하는 다기능 프로토콜 시험시스템을 제시하였다. 본 논문은 다기능 시험시스템 설계에 입각한 예로서 망루팅 프로토콜 시험시스템, 트랜스포트 프로토롤 시험시스템의 구조를 보인다.
