In this paper, we suggest theoretical grounds on the problem of R&D portfolio with different option premiums utilizing the Real Options Model, which has received intensified attention as the method of assessment of R&D project with high risk. Even though there have been many studies focused on the evaluation of option value of single project from technology valuation's perspective. there are few study on the portfolio of multiple technology investment by option value using. This paper bears practical importance by showing simple examples with the option value of investment alternatives and the valuation of related risk, the construction of optimum portfolio in technology investment alternatives.

Vibration localization characteristics of open loop repeated structures with mistuning are investigated in this paper. Mistuning of a periodic structure often creates significant non-uniformity in vibration responses. As a result of the localization, critical fatigue problems often occur in repeated structures. Therefore, it is of great importance to predict the vibration response of the mistuned repeated structures accurately. In this paper, a simplified model for the open-loop repeated structure is introduced and dimensionless parameters which influence the localization characteristics are identified. The effects of the parameters on the localization characteristics are investigated through numerical study.

In this paper, oscillation and stability of nonlinear neutral impulsive delay differential equation are studied. The main result of this paper is that oscillation and stability of nonlinear impulsive neutral delay differential equations are equivalent to oscillation and stability of corresponding nonimpulsive neutral delay differential equations. At last, two examples are given to illustrate the importance of this study.

We have already proposed an extended fuzzy clustering algorithm which considers the importance of the data to be classified in a previous paper. In this paper, we suggest the extended fuzzy clustering algorithm based new method to slove a multiple peak detection problem, and prove experimently that this algorithm can detect the multiple peak adaptively to the noise and the shape of peaks.

Information management of products and services in every industries is gaining importance for resource planning and maintenance. In this paper, we analyzed the information classification systems for railway industry. International and domestic classification systems, such as HS, UNSPSC, eCl@ss and ISIC, are reviewed; as a result this paper presents the findings and the various issues. We proposed to-be images in adopting and utilizing the classification systems. Using the integrative information classification systems could make efficient electronic procurement, supply chain management and e-Business of railway services.

This paper describes firstly a prediction for desirable features of the machine tool in the year 2015 and beyond, and then delineates something definite in relation to some representative machine tools, which could be realised in very near future. The paper depicts furthermore another aspect of future machine tools, I. e., innovative structural designs. In addition, author asserts the importance of grass root-like knowledge, when predicting the desirable feature of machine tools future together with showing some evidences.

The relation of culture and development is complicated and multilayered. Inclusive development has been the national strategy of the government of President Benigno Aquino III. However, the role the culture is scarcely mentioned. This paper will try to contextualize development in Philippine history to further show the importance of national consciousness, ethnic cultures, indigenous cultures and modern culture,. This paper concludes that inclusive development of the Philippines will be achieved through glocalization, based on the creative reconstruction of cultures in and out of the Philippines.

본 논문에서는 폐암의 발생에 관여하는 유전자 데이터인 SNP 데이터의 중요도 평가와 SVM 학습법을 이용하여 폐암 감수성을 예측하는 방법을 제안한다. 학습에 사용될 폐암 관련 양성 데이터에 비하여 음성 데이터의 수가 훨씬 많은 이유로 각 양성 데이터에 대하여 같은 성별과 적은 나이 차를 갖는 음성 데이터를 찾아서 쌍이 되도록 한다. 또한 각 SNP가 발병 예측에 미칠 영향력을 계산하는 수식을 도입하여 각 SNP의 중요도를 평가하고 SNP를 중요도에 따라 서열화 한다. 실험에서는 학습에 사용되는 순위별 SNP 개수에 따라 변화되는 예측률을 관측하였고, LOOCV 테스트 결과 제안된 방법은 실험 데이터에 대하여 최대 65.0%의 예측 정확도를 보였다.
