광폭면 분무를 위한 2유체 노즐의 분무 특성에 관한 연구 (An Experimental Study on the Spray Characteristics by Twin-Fluid Atomizer for Wide Band Spray)

  • To develop the twin-fluid atomizer having the excellent performance of painting, the spray characteristics of how a wide area can be painted efficiently by one time spraying were studied in this paper. Spray phenomena are affected by the many factors determining the spray field such as the spraying pressure of gas, the spraying pressure and viscosity of liquid paints, the opening duration of needle valve, the design dimension of nozzle, and so on. As the results of experiments, these factors affecting on spray characteristics were suggested as followings; 1) The optimum spraying pressure of gas was $0.015{\sim}0.02\;kPa$, and the appropriate spraying pressure of liquid paint was 0.01kPa, In these situations, the setting up pressures must be compensated as much as the losing amount of pressure because a decompression occurred when operating valves. 2) The duration of opening the needle valve must be sustained for $1{\sim}2$ seconds to inject gas after spraying the liquid paint. This operating of the needle valve was necessary to avoid the affect on the changing of liquid column length, and to prevent the droplet deposit at the initial time of spraying. 3) The spray tip penetration was gained form the experimental equation, and the effective spraying angle was $85^{\circ}{\pm}5^{\circ}$ just at he appropriate spraying pressure of gas. The distribution of the area sprayed had the variation in $350{\pm}50\;mm$ because of the spraying pressure of gas, the its distance from the spray tip, and the lift of the needle valve.

영화 <게이샤의 추억>을 중심으로 본 게이샤복식 표현에 관한 연구 (A Study on Geisha's Dress Expressions in the Movie Focused on )

  • Geisha's gorgeous kimonos and grotesque make-up was the object of envy to Japanese women. There is a line in the movie like "Kimonos to the Geisha is the same as colors to the painter." Likewise, splendid patterns and colorful kimonos were an indispensible method or symbol for showing their artistic accomplishments. The purpose of this study is to investigate concept and origin of Geisha and their dress and decoration, analyze the dress of the people which appear in the movie, , arrange the expression of Geisha's dress as a movie costume, compare the difference of the dress by the career of Geisha and look back the disappearing aesthetic sense of Geisha. First, since Geisha appeared for the first time in Kyoto in 1751, it has become the world-wide representative of Japanese woman's images so that its existence oneself has become the tradition. Second, Geisha created fashion of various clothes, adornments, and hair styles as a creator of the popularity. Third, the strict regulation without exception is applied in Geisha's clothing, make-up, and motion tuned Samisen, Japanese traditional strings, and there is some difference in their hair style and dress by age of Maiko. Fourth, it is famous for unique make-up that Geisha makes up their faces, necks, and shoulders white, newly paints eyes, nose, lip line like drawing a picture in a pure white paper. Geishas put a little make-up as they have a higher position. Fifth, a heroin, Chiyo, shows clothing as a maid, an apprentice Geisha-Maiko- and a formal Geisha according to time flow. The length of kimono, textures, and hair decorations are longer, more splendid, and are more various as time goes. On the other hand, her make-up is lighter.

  • An International Convention on the control of harmful anti-fouling system on ships(AFS Convention) was adopted on 5 October 2001 at Diplomatic Conference in London, and is expected to be presently effectuated with ratification of more than 25-member nations possessing about 25% of total world tonnage. This convention regulates the operation of harmful anti-fouling system and especially prohibits the use of organotin compounds contained in anti-fouling paint. Organotin compounds have a tendency to be easily extracted by specific solvents and have high polarity and low volatility as specific characteristics. This drives us to attempt of going through the process named derivatization that is required in analysis using a gas chromatography(GC). This study was conducted to determine the proper pre-treatment method, ethylation in comparison with hydridization on the analysis of tributyltin in organotin compounds and to verify the application of the method through the experimental analysis practically used anti-fouling paint and painted layer sample of the served ship.

새집증후군 현상 및 유해가스 제거방안 연구 (Research on the phenomenon of sick house syndrome and how to remove harmful gases)

  • 새 집으로 이사를 가거나 집, 사무실 등의 벽지나 바닥재를 바꿨을 때, 인테리어 공사를 한 뒤에 나타날 수 있는 코를 찌르는 매캐한 냄새와 눈이 따가워지는 등의 현상이 새집증후군으로 새집을 장만한 기쁨을 누리는 것도 잠시 뿐이다. 새 건축물이나 새 가구에 사용되는 건축자재, 접착제, 벽지, 페인트 등에서 나오는 휘발성 유기화합물들은 거주자들의 건강과 실내 생활의 불쾌감을 유발시킨다. 이 휘발성 유기화합물들은 대표적 물질인 포름알데히드를 비롯하여 벤젠, 톨루엔, 아세톤, 스틸렌 등이 포함되어 있고 이러한 물질들은 장시간에 걸쳐 서서히 방출되어 거주자들에게 급성 또는 만성적인 질환을 야기한다. 유기 휘발성 물질들의 제거 방법으로는 흡착을 이용한 물리적 방법과 휘발성 물질을 다른 물질로 전환시키는 화학적 방법 또는 두 가지가 혼합된 방법이 주로 사용된다. 본 논고에서는 반응물질의 반응속도와 생성물의 방출을 제어하는 방법으로 얻어지는 서방형의 이산화염소 젤팩과 최적화된 홀 경을 가진 제올라이트 흡착제를 혼용하여 공기 중에 부유하는 포름알데히드를 흡착, 분해시켜 제거하는 효과적인 방법에 대하여 제안하는 바이다.

환경 친화적 학용품 사용에 관한 초등학생의 인식 조사 및 환경교육 프로그램의 개발 (The Perceptions of Elementary School Children Regarding Environmentally Friendly School Supplies and the Development of Environmental Education Program)

  • School is an excellent place for children to loam environment-conscious behavior and for teachers to bring up environmental education. School has a plenty of teaching materials such as school building, pond, school forest, waste and school supplies. Especially, the environmental education for and with school supplies can be very effective, as it is mostly the first products for children to learn the buying and consumption in their daily life. In this study we conducted a survey on the environmental attitude of two groups of 5th graders towards environmentally friendly school supplies. The experimental group received environmental education on school supplies and the control group did not. The survey results showed that almost 50% of the children did not consider the environmental impact, but rather the price, design and function when buying the school supplies. However, more than 70% of children were willing to use the recycled school products, implying that they are aware of environmental Issues and want to contribute to the preservation and improvement of the environment. The children recognized paper/notebooks and paints/crayons as the major environmental problems. Writing appliances such as pens, pencils, highlighters and markers were also considered as environmental concerns, since most of them are made of plastics and they are not easily biodegradable nor refillable. We also exemplify a lesson-plan for environmental education program on school supplies and make suggestions to encourage the use of those eco-friendly school materials.

4HBA 변성 하이솔리드 아크릴 우레탄 도료의 반응성 및 물성 연구 (A Study on the Reactivity, Performance of 4HBA Modified High Solid Acrylic Polyurethane Paint)

  • 본 연구에서는 2액형 아크릴 우레탄 도료에 있어서 바인더로 사용되는 하이솔리드 아크릴 폴리올 수지를 개발함에 있어서 핵심요소인 반응 개시제로 TAPEH (t-amyl peroxy 2-ethyl hexanoate)를 선택하였다. 그리고 하이드록시 모노머는 Tone M100 (caprolactone acrylate), 4HBA (4-hydroxy butyl acrylate), 2HEMA (2-hydroxy ethyl methacrylate)를 사용하였다. 앞의 물질을 2액형 아크릴 우레탄 도료용으로 응용함에 있어서 적용성과 VOC 저감을 위하여, 알리파틱 폴리이소시아네이트 경화제 종류에 따른 반응성과 도막물성을 검토하였다. 또한 최근 주석계 촉매의 사용 억제에 따라 저독성 금속촉매와의 반응성 및 물성도 비교 시험하였다. 이상의 결과로부터 2액형 하이솔리드 폴리우레탄 수지 도료의 응용에 필요한 기초자료 확보로 도막물성과 작업성 개량 및 친환경 도료개발에 효과적으로 응용 할 수 있는 것을 검토하였다.

견운모가 함유된 에어필터가 디젤자동차 연비에 미치는 영향 (Effect of an Air Filter Containing Sericite on Diesel Vehicle Fuel Economy)

  • 견운모는 도자기와 페인트 등의 원료로 쓰이고 있으며 근래에는 흡착제로서 폐수 내 중금속 제거에도 널리 이용되고 있다. 견운모에 함유되어 있는 성분들이 공기 중의 습기와 반응하여 산소를 배출한다는 원리를 이용하여 견운모 분말이 포함된 에어필터를 개발하였다. 새로 개발된 에어필터가 실제로 디젤자동차에 장착되었을 때 연비를 향상시키는지에 대하여 시험하였다. 그 결과 시험에 이용된 디젤자동차가 워밍업이 되었을 때 기존 에어필터를 장착했을 때와 비교하여 연비는 10~17% 증가하는 것으로 나타났다. 하지만 개발된 에어필터가 배출가스(HC, CO, NOx) 배출량에 미치는 영향은 아직 조사되지 않았으며 차후 이에 대한 연구가 필요하다.

그래핀 기반 지능형 나노복합소재를 이용한 고감도 임팩트 페인트 센서 개발 연구 (Development of Novel Impact Paint Sensor by Using Graphene based Smart Nano Composite)

  • This paper presents a novel impact sensor which can be fabricated with smart paint made of grapheme. This smart nano paint can be easily installed on structures using a spray-on technique and that can make the sensor low cost and practical. The graphene effectively improves the piezoresistivity of the smart paint and that is available to achieve sensitive impact sensor with high gauge factor. The nano smart-paint can detect sufficient impact to cover the damaged energy range of the composite around 1~3J. The voltage outputs from the sprayed paints show fairly linear responses after signal processing. The impact makes deformation of the structure and it brings change of piezoresistivity of the paint and those converts into voltage output consequently by means of a simple signal processing system. The nano smart paint is lightweight and easily applied to the structural surface, and there is no stress concentration. The nano smart paint is expected to be a cost effective and sensitive multi-functional sensor for composites and other damage monitoring applications in the field of structural health monitoring.

현미 자외/가시광선영역 분광광도계에 의한 미세시료의 분석 (Identification of the Trace Evidence by UV/VIS Microspectrophotometry)

  • 페인트, 섬유, 잉크 등은 범죄현장에 유류되는 많은 증거물 중 가장 빈번하게 접하게 되는 법과학 증거물로서 이들에 대한 분석 결과는 범죄현장과 피해자 또는 피의자, 피해자와 피의자간의 상황 재구성 및 인과관계, 도주 용의 차랑 등의 추적에 결정적인 역할을 하고 있다. 그러나 이들 시료는 육안으로 거의 확인이 되지 않을 만큼 극미량의 미세한 시료가 대부분이므로 법과학분야에서 미세시료에 대한 체계적인 분광학적 분석법이 대두되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 현미 자외/가시광선 현미분광광도계를 이용하여 섬유 14종, 국내 자동차 차체 페인트 2개 색상 44종 및 3개 회사의 컬러 프린트용 잉크로 인쇄한 4개 색상 12종에 대해 자외선/가시광선 영역(240-780nm)에서 투과 및 반사 측정법으로 측정하였으며, 각각 특징적인 흡수대로 섬유, 페인트 및 잉크의 이동식별이 가능하였다.

작업환경측정 결과를 활용한 벤젠 노출 매트릭스에 대한 연구 (Benzene Exposure Matrices Using Employees's Exposure Assessment Data)

  • Objectives: The aims of this study were to set up benzene exposure matrices according to industry and process and to assess the risk of those occupational exposure to benzene. Methods: The benzene exposure matrices were assembled depending on industry and process, based on an exposure database provided by KOSHA(the Korean Occupational Safety and Health Agency), which was gathered from a workplace hazards evaluation program in Korea. These exposure matrices were assessed by Hallmark Risk Assessment tool. Results: The benzene was treated 412 industries sector(36%), 2,747 business places, and 471 industrial processes according to database. The arithmetic mean of past decade 8 hours time-weighted average of airborne benzene concentrations in the workplace was 0.10722 ppm. 1.07% of the total sample were greater than OEL, and 59.8% were showed less than the limit of detection. The highest risk values(Danger Value) were seen 36 industries including manufacture of general paints and similar product and 12 processes, such as other painting of manufacture of metal fabricated members. Exposure matrices based on employee exposure data base may provide exposure histories and can be used in epidemiological studies. Conclusions: It was found that more attentions should be paid to 36 among 412 industries and 12 of 471 processes, with a higher risk value.
