본 논문의 목표는 디지털 방송 수신과 아날로그 방송 수신 및 방송 컨텐츠를 녹화, 저장, 재생이 가능할 뿐만 아니라 각종 멀티미디어 컨텐츠를 즐길 수 있고, 양방향 데이터 방송이 가능하며, 저장된 콘텐트를 스트리밍으로 개인 멀티미디어 플레이어로 스트리밍 이 가능한 다기능 일체형 개인 녹화기를 개발하는 것이다. 고품질 디지털 방송과 기존의 아날로그 방송을 고품질의 디지털 컨텐츠로 변환하여 저장하고, 이를 원하는 시점에 언제든지 볼 수 있을 뿐만 아니라 인터넷 접속하여 어디 서든지 개인 형 멀티미디어 플래이어를 이용하여 스트리밍으로 저장된 컨텐츠를 즐길 수 있다. 이러한 기능을 수행하기 위하여 상당한 성능의 MPU가 필요로 하게 된다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 조건을 만족시키기 위하여 Zoran의 G9Ellite라는 SOC를 채택하였다. 개발된 시스템을 테스트하기 위하여 현재 각 방송사들의 방송을 수신하고 요구된 기능을 테스트 하였다.

The personal video recorder is a consumer electronics device that records television shows to a hard disk in digital format. In this paper, we propose an implementation method of personal video recorder for digital TV. The proposed personal video recorder includes cpu and system control modules, graphics and display module, audio DSP module, digital I/O module, NIM module, graphic software library, and embedded software modules for providing a lot of PVR functions such as live or reserved recordings, browsing of recorded content list, trick play and time shifting. Especially, combining trick play with time shifting makes much more convenient functions such as pausing live TV, instant replay of interesting scenes, and skipping advertising.

This paper describes a article how to protect from illegal indiscriminate copy of digital broadcasting content using DRM and CCI. With the start of terrestrial / satellite digital broadcast and the preparation of Digital Cable broadcast, we can view HD digital contents through the various channel. Also we can record, play, redistribute digital contents in PVR. The protection of Digital Contents Right became of the important issue to protect CopyRight. In this paper, we implement a manager that prevents indiscriminate digital contents redistribution of the digital broadcast contents. For protection of Digital contents Right, we use BF(Broadcast Flag) and CCI (Copy Control Information) which we can control viewing or copy digital contents with.

Although extracorporeal circulation (ECC) has been routinely used for cardiovascular surgery, hyperoxemia during ECC may produce oxygen toxicity and cellular injury. This study was performed to investigate the clinical influences of hyperoxemic ECC during cardiovascular operation. 40 adult patients scheduled for elective cardiovascular surgery were classified into normoxemic (arterial oxygen tension: 115 mmHg, n＝20) and hyperoxemic (arterial oxygen tension: 380 mmHg, n＝20) ECC. At preoperative and postoperative period, total leukocyte and neutrophil counts, platelet counts, iron, glucose, aspartate aminotransferase (AST), alanine aminotransferase (ALT), blood urea nitrogen (BUN), and creatinine in peripheral arterial blood, malondialdehyde (MDA) and troponin-T concentration (TnT) in coronary sinus blood, pulmonary vascular resistance (PVR), and postoperative blood loss volume (BLS) were measured and compared between groups. Hyperoxemic group had postoperatively higher total leukocyte and neutrophil counts, MDA, TnT, PVR total BLS, iron, glucose, AST, ALT, BUN, and creatinine than normoxemic group (p<0.05).0 conclusion, hyperoxemic ECC results in greater inflammatory response and oxidative damaging effects on the heart lung, liver and kidney, probably being adverse to postoperative patient recovery. For reducing these deleterious effects and improving postoperative outcomes, management lowering oxygen tension during ECC is recommended.

본 연구는 HD 복합TV 사용자의 시청행태 및 사용자 니즈 분석을 통해 사용자 시나리오를 도출하여 실제 제품에 적용할 수 있는 DTV 인터페이스 디자인의 일반적인 원리를 발견하고 대형 DTV 화면에 적합한 OSD디자인을 개발하여 디지털 복합 TV에 적합한 새로운 디자인 가이드라인을 제안하는 것을 그 목적으로 하고 있다. 이를 위해 DTV 시청환경을 기반으로 PVR, EPF, 녹화, 1394 등 다양한 기능에 대한 사용 시나리오를 정의하고 유저 내비게이션 특성을 반영한 OSD디자인 방향을 검토하였고 개발환경인 50인치 PDP 화면에 적합한 레이아웃을 제작하여 사용자조사를 통해 검증하였다. 사례연구로 최근 이슈가 되고 있는 타임머신 기능 X Canvas PDP의 OSD 디자인을 개발하여 양산용 제품에 적용할 수 있었다. 대표적인 특징으로 복합 TV 의 Gateway 인 홈메뉴, PVR 기능의 핵심인 프로그래스바, 모든 컨텐츠에 일관되게 적용할 수 있는 목록화면, 녹화관련화면에 공통적으로 적용할 수 있도록 폰트,칼라,레이아웃,위젯 정의를 수행하여 각 기능별 화면들이 Package개념으로 Identity를 갖추면서 사용하기 편리하도록 구성하였다. 그리고 이를 통하여 DTV Application Design에 일반적으로 적용할 수 있는 메뉴구조 및 화면디자인 가이드라인을 도출하였고 세계최초로 자사에서 개발한 하드디스크 내장 HD TV Application GUI 의 사용성 및 심미성 측면을 모두 만족시키는 등 DTV GUI 분야에서 주목할 만한 성과를 거두었다.

심장수술에 따른 백혈구의 활성화는 여러 염증성 물질을 생성시켜 수술 후 병태생리에 깊이 관여한다. 본 연구는 심장수술 동안 백혈구의 과립성분인 myeloperoxidase의 농도 변화와 심장 및 폐에 대한 영향을 규명하기 위해 시행되었다. 심장수술 전후로 말초혈액 총 백혈구 수 및 분획세포 수와 관상정맥 혈액의 myeloperoxidase 농도 (MPO) 및 troponin-T 농도 (TnT), 그리고 폐혈관 저항을 측정하였다. 수술 직후, 호중구 수의 상승에 기인한 총 백혈구 수의 증가가 있었고 (p＜0.01), MPO 및 TnT 역시 증가하였으나 (p＜0.05), 폐혈관 저항은 감소하였다(p＜0.05). 수술 후, MPO는 TnT, 총 백혈구 수, 호중구 수, 그리고 심장수술 소요시간과 각각 양의 상관관계가 있었다(p＜0.05). 수술 후 폐혈관 저항은 총 백혈구 수 및 호중구 수와 각각 음의 상관성이 있었다(p<0.05). 본 연구의 결과들은 심장수술이 호중구로 부터 MPO 분비를 증가시키며, 유리된 MPO는 폐보다는 심장에 유해한 효과를 미칠 수 있고 호중구의 또 다른 기전이 수술 후 폐 손상에 관여할 수 있음을 시사하고 있다.

본 논문은 우리말 연속음성에 대한 음절단위 분할법을 제안한다. 이 방법은 다음 3단계로 이루어진다: (1) 음성의 시간영역 분할 파라메터인 피치, 에너지, ZCR, PVR을 이용하여 음성데이터를 자음, 자음. 묵음 단위로 라벨링하여 토큰 (Token)을 형성, (2) 형성된 토큰을 유한상태오토마타를 이용하여 한국어 음절구조로 파서 (Parser)를 설계하여 스캐닝 (Scanning), (3) 의사 음절핵 정보를 이용하여 두개 혹은 여러 개의 음절을 가지는 음성부분에 대한 재분할을 통하여 음절단위 분할 완성. 제안된 방법에 대한 성능 평가를 위해서 문장과 단어단위 연속음성에 대한 분할 실험결과 각각 73.7％와 85.9％의 분할률을 얻었다.

Eighteen infants with a large ventricular septal defect[VSD] underwent primary surgical repair from January 1986 to December 1992. Operation was done because of failure to thrive, medically intractable heart failure, recurrent pneumonia, increased pulmonary vascular resistance[PVR]. Four patients[22.2%] died in the early postoperative period. Relief of heart failure and normalization of growth and weight gain was evident in all survivor. There was no late postoperative death. The results of primary surgical repair of VSD in infancy are compared with those of palliative pulmonary artery banding[PAB] and of VSD closure after PAB. Twenty-seven patients with isolated VSD or with VSD associated with atrial septal defect, patent ductus arteriosus, or coarctation of the aorta underwent initial palliative PAB. There were 3 early postoperative deaths[11.1%]. Severe elevation of PVR persisted in two patients. Closure of VSD and pulmonary artery debanding was done in twenty patients, with 2 early postoperative deaths[10.0%]. Placement of the PAB too close to the pulmonary annulus necessitated trasannular patching in one patient, but any problem caused by migration of the band was not developed. It is concluded that primary surgical repair of VSD in infancy is reasonable and that PAB is indicated only for those patients less than 6 months old with a complicated defect or in an emergency situation.
