압전변압기의 특성분석 및 적응성 제어를 위한 안정화 설계

  • Piezoelectric Transformer (PT) was emerged in device and material industry. PT has some advantages such as low profile and mechanical energy transfer with little electromagnetic interface (EMI). But, It is known that the maximum PT efficiency can be obtained when it operates near the resonant frequency of the PT. Also PT's resonant frequency moves according to the load conditions Therefore, As the operating frequency moves further from the resonant frequency, the PT efficiency decreases dramatically due to the increase of the circulating current. This paper proposes analyzes modeling of PT convert and propose a guide-line to adaptive control

A Study on Pyroelectric Characteristics of PZN-PT-PZ Ceramics (PZN-PT-PZ계 세라믹의 초전특성에 관한연구)

  • In this paper, xPb(Zn$\_$1/3/Nb$\_$2/3/)O$_3$-yPbTiO$_3$-zPbZrO$_3$-zPbZrO$_3$ (0.5wt%)MnO$_2$ ceramics were fabricated by the mixed oxide method sintered at 1250$^{\circ}C$ for 2[hrs] and then the dielectric and pyroelectric properties were investigated. In 0.10PZN-0.45PT-0.47PZ sample, dielectric constant was 829 and in the case of 01.5PZN-0.45PT-0.40PZ sample, pyroelectric current and pyroelectric coefficient were 0.95 x 10$\^$-7/ [A] and 7.6 x 10$\^$-1/ [C/$\textrm{cm}^2$$.$$^{\circ}C$]. Figure of merits of pyroelectric current and voltage and detectivity, in same sample, has shown good properties, that were 2.4 x 10$\^$-8/[C$.$cm/J], 5.5 x 10$\^$-11/[C$.$cm/J], 1.6 x 10$\^$-8/ [C$.$cm/J].

Anode processes on Pt and ceramic anodes in chloride and oxide-chloride melts

  • Platinum anodes are widely used for metal oxides reduction in LiCl-Li2O, however high-cost and low-corrosion resistance hinder their implementation. NiO-Li2O ceramics is an alternative corrosion resistant anode material. Anode processes on platinum and NiO-Li2O ceramics were studied in (80 mol.%) LiCl-(20mol.%)KCl and (80 mol.%)LiCl-(20 mol.%)KCl-Li2O melts by cyclic voltammetry, potentiostatic and galvanostatic electrolysis. Experiments performed in the LiCl-KCl melt without Li2O illustrate that a Pt anode dissolution causes the Pt2+ ions formation at 3.14 V and 550℃ and at 3.04 V and 650℃. A two-stage Pt oxidation was observed in the melts with the Li2O at 2.40 ÷ 2.43 V, which resulted in the Li2PtO3 formation. Oxygen current efficiency of the Pt anode at 2.8 V and 650℃ reached about 96%. The anode process on the NiO-Li2O electrode in the LiCl-KCl melt without Li2O proceeds at the potentials more positive than 3.1 V and results in the electrochemical decomposition of ceramic electrode to NiO and O2. Oxygen current efficiency on NiO-Li2O is close to 100%. The NiO-Li2O ceramic anode demonstrated good electrochemical characteristics during the galvanostatic electrolysis at 0.25 A/cm2 for 35 h and may be successfully used for pyrochemical treating of spent nuclear fuel.

소결 온도에 따른 비납계 NKN-BNT-BT 세라믹의 전기적, 구조적 특성

  • In this study, both structural, dielectric and piezoelectric properties of the NKN-0.96BNT-0.04BT ceramics were investigated. All samples of the NKN-0.96BNT-0.04BT ceramics were fabricated by conventional mixed oxide method with Pt electrodes. We report the improved dielectric and piezoelectric properties in the perovskite structure composed of the NKN, BNT and the BT ceramics. We investigated the effects of NKN, BT on the structural and electrical properties of the NKN-0.93BNT-0.07BT ceramics. The dielectric properties and piezoelectric properties of the NKN-0.93BNT-0.07BT ceramics were superior to those of single composition NKN, NKN-BNT and those values for the NKN-0.93BNT-0.07BT ceramics were 861 and 1.12%.

Field-Induced Strain and Polarization Characteristics of La-Modified PMN-PT Ceramics (La 변성 PMN-PT계 강유전체의 전계유기변위와 분극특성)

  • Pb(Mg$_{1}$3/Nb$_{2}$3)O$_{3}$[PMN]-PbTiO$_{3}$[PT]계 고용체의 상경계조성(MPB)영역에 대해 La을 첨가하여 변성시킨 La변성 (1-x)PMN-xPT(x=0.35) 고용체를 만들어 온도-유전율 특성, 전계유기 분극특성 및 변위특성을 조사하였다. PMN-PT의 상경영역의 조성인 x=0.35에 대해 La함량을 0-10at%까지 변화시켰다. PMN-PT계 고용체에서 PT 의 함량이 증가함에 따라 전계유기변위 및 히스테리시스 특성이 모두 증가하였다. 전계유기변위 값 $\varepsilon$ 는 능면정과 정방정의 공존영역인 MPB(x=0.35)조성에서 가장 높은 값($\varepsilon$ = 2 x $10^{-3}$)을 보여 주었다. MPB조성에 대해 La을 첨가한 계의 전계유기변위를 조사한 결과 La의 첨가량이 적을 때 (La=0-5at%)는 La의 함량이 증가함에 따라 히스테리시스 특성이 감소하였고 $\varepsilon$ 은 증가하여 고성능의 액튜에이터 재료에 적합한 조성물로 기대된다.

  • ln this study, x PSN - y PT - z PZ ceramics doped with w MnO$_2$were fabricated by the mixed oxide method at 1250[$^{\circ}C$] for 2[hr] and then the dielectric and pyroelectric properties were investigated. In the 0.05 PSN - 0.4 PT - 0.55 PZ specimen with 0.5[wt.%] MnO$_2$, the pyroelectric coefficient was 6.6${\times}$10$\^$-8/[C/cm$^2$$.$$^{\circ}C$], respectibly.

Design of the Piezoelectric Sounder Using the PMN-PT-PZ (PMN-PT-PZ 계 세라믹스를 이용한 압전 발음체 설계)

  • In this study, the physical properties of the piezoelectric sounder with metal-piezoelectric ceramics were analyzed. The dielectric and piezoeletric properties of 0.5wt% MnO$_2$ and NiO doped 0.1Pb(Mg$\_$1/3/Nb$\_$2/3/)O$_3$-0.45PbTiO$_3$-0.45PbZrO$_3$ ceramics were investigated aiming at acoustic transducer applications. The acoustic characteristics of a thin circular disc-type with metal-piezoceramics have been investigated. Also, the acoustic characteristics for the geometrical form of case were investigated. The piezoelectric sounder with 200kHz resonant frequency and 20kHz bandwidth was designed by considering the sharp directivity and the sound pressure.

  • x Pb($Sb_{1/2}Sn_{1/2}O_3-PbTiO_3-PbZrO_30.05{\leq}x{\leq}0.25$) ternary compound ceramics were fabricated by the mixed oxide method. The sintering temperature and time were 1200-1270[$^{\circ}C$], 2 hour, respectively. Increasing the PSS contents, the transition temperatures were decreased. The relative dielectric constant and Curie temperature of the 0.25 PSS-0.25 PT-0.5 PZ specimens were 450, 220[$^{\circ}C$]. The Pyroelectric coefficient of the 0.25PSS-0.25PT-0.50 PZ specimen was $5.20{\times}10^4$[C$\textrm{cm}^2$K].

  • In this study, the dielectric, structural and electrical properties of Pb(ZnS11/3TNbS12/3T)OS13T-BaTiOS13T-PbTiOS13T system ceramics were investigated with respect to the variation of YS12TOS13T addition amount. As the YS12TOS13T addition amount is increased, the resistivity at 100$^{\circ}C$ and the resonant/antiresonant frequencies and the frequency constant are slowly increased, and the grain growth is restrained until 0.4 wt% YS12TOS13T addition amount but continuously increased with the addition amount more than 0.4 wt% YS12TOS13T. As the YS12TOS13T addition amount is increased, the density, the diffuseness of dielectric constant and the induced polarization are increased until 0.4 wt% YS12TOS13T addition.
