Orientation Control of $SrBi_2Ta_2O_9$ Thin Films on Pt (111) Substrates

  • The a-axis and c-axis prefer oriented SBT thin films could be deposited on Pt(111)/Ti/$SiO_2$$650^{\circ}C$). The c-axis preferred orientation of SBT film can be obtained by Sr deficiency and high compressive stress. However, the a-axis-oriented grains can be formed under stoichiometric Sr content and nearly stress-free state.

Automated detection of panic disorder based on multimodal physiological signals using machine learning

  • We tested the feasibility of automated discrimination of patients with panic disorder (PD) from healthy controls (HCs) based on multimodal physiological responses using machine learning. Electrocardiogram (ECG), electrodermal activity (EDA), respiration (RESP), and peripheral temperature (PT) of the participants were measured during three experimental phases: rest, stress, and recovery. Eleven physiological features were extracted from each phase and used as input data. Logistic regression (LoR), k-nearest neighbor (KNN), support vector machine (SVM), random forest (RF), and multilayer perceptron (MLP) algorithms were implemented with nested cross-validation. Linear regression analysis showed that ECG and PT features obtained in the stress and recovery phases were significant predictors of PD. We achieved the highest accuracy (75.61%) with MLP using all 33 features. With the exception of MLP, applying the significant predictors led to a higher accuracy than using 24 ECG features. These results suggest that combining multimodal physiological signals measured during various states of autonomic arousal has the potential to differentiate patients with PD from HCs.

PT를 이용한 파이프내면 육성용접부 표면결함 진단시스템 개발에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Development of Diagnosing System of Defects on Surface of Inner Overlay Welding of Long Pipes using Liquid Penetrant Test)

  • 액체침투탐상법(PT)을 이용한 직경 1 m, 길이 6 m의 초장대형 파이프내면 육성용접부의 표면결함 진단시스템을 개발하였다. 우선 CATIA를 사용하여 주요 유닛 및 PT machine 전체를 3D 모델링하였으며, 이를 구조강도 및 변형 해석에 사용하였고 또한 각 유닛의 동작 간섭현상을 체크하여 2차원 제작도면 생성으로 제작에도 사용하였다. ANSYS를 사용하여 구조강도 해석 및 변형 해석한 결과, 최대 등가응력은 44.901 MPa 발생하였고, 이는 PT machine의 재질인 SS400의 항복인장강도 200 MPa 보다 작으므로 안전하다고 판단되며, 또한 최대 변형은 0.15 mm 발생하였고, 이는 하중이 제거되면 원래대로 돌아간다고 판단된다. 개발된 장비의 성능을 검증하기 위하여 공작물의 최대이동속도 7.2 m/min., 최대회전속도 9 rpm, 반복위치정밀도 1.2 mm, 검사속도 $1.65m^2/min$. 등을 확인하였으며, 이 모든 검사 항목은 개발 목표치를 만족하였다. ASME SEC. V&VIII의 방법에 따라 육성용접층의 균열, 기공, 인더컷 등의 표면결함 유무를 확인하기 위하여 개발한 PT 자동검사시스템을 사용하여 PT검사를 실시한 결과, 표면층의 결함은 관찰되지 않았다. 부가적으로 육성용접부를 평가하기 위하여 ASTM G48-11의 방법으로 Ferric Chloride pitting test에 따라 육성용접층의 부식시험을 실시한 결과 weight loss는 $0.3g/m^2$으로 만족하였으며, 또한 ASTM A751-14의 방법에 따라 육성용접층의 화학성분을 분석 결과 모든 성분이 규격을 만족하였다.

IN SITU STRESS MEASUREMENTS OF Co-BASED MULTILAYER FILMS

  • We have constructed an apparatus for in sity measurement of stress of the film prepared by sputtering using an optical noncontact displacement detector. A Change of the gap distance between the detector and the substrate, caused by stress of a deposited film, was detected by a corresponding change of the reflectivity. The sensitivity of the displacement detector was $5.9\;{\mu}V/{\AA}$ and thus, it was turned out to be good enough to detect stress caused by deposition of a monoatomic layer. The apparatus was applied to in situ stress measurements of Co/X(X=Pd or Pt) multilayer thin films prepared on the glass substrates by dc magnetron sputtering. At the very beginning of the deposition, both Co and X sublayers have subjected to their own intrinsic stresses. However, when the film was thicker than about $100{\AA}$, constant tensile stress in the Co sublayer and compressive stress in the X sublayer were observed, which is believed to be related to a lattice mismatch between the matching planes of Co and X.

Hepatoprotective Effects of Paecilomyces tenuipes Against Carbon Tetrachloride-induced Toxicity in Primary Cultures of Adult Rat Hepatocytes

  • Paecilomyces tenuipes (PT), one of the Ascomycetes family, has been used for medicinal purposes due to its broad pharmacological activities. The present study was undertaken to investigate the hepatoprotective effects of PT water extracts against $CCl_4$-induced hepatotoxicity in primary cultures of adult rat hepatocytes. When the extract of PT was directly added into the culture medium at 1, 2, and 5 mg/ml, the extracts not only reduce the $CCl_4$-induced elevation of aspartate aminotransferase (AST), alanine aminotransferase (ALT), lactate dehydrogenase, and lipid peroxide, but also protect cultured hepatocytes from $CCl_4$-induced reduction of reduced glutathione, glutathione reductase, glutathione-S-transferase, glutathione peroxidase, catalase and superoxide dismutase. In addition, the effects of PT water extracts on cytochrome P450 enzymes were relatively marginal, indicating that the hepatoprotective effects of PT extract against $CCl_4$-induced toxicity might not be due to the inhibition of $CCl_4$ activation. In conclusion, the PT extracts were effective in protecting against $CCl_4$ induced hepatotoxicity in hepatocyte cultures, at least in part, by scavenging free radicals, and by modulating enzyme systems involved in cellular oxidative stress.

애기장대에서의 벼 유래의 고친화성 인산 운반체 유전자들의 기능 분석 (Functional Analysis of the High Affinity Phosphate Transporter Genes Derived from Oryza sativa in Arabidopsis thaliana.)

  • Phosphate, a favorable phosphorous form for plant, is one of major nutrient elements for growth and development in plants. Plants exhibit various physiological and biochemical responses in reaction to phosphate starvation in order to maintain phosphate homeostasis. Of them, expression of high affinity phosphate transporter gene family and efficient uptake of phosphate via them is a major physiological process for adaption to phosphate deficient environment. Although the various genetic resources of high affinity phosphate transporter are identified recently, little is known about their functions in plant that is prerequisite information before applying to crop plants to generate valuable transgenic plants. We demonstrated that Arabidopsis transgenic plants over-expressing two different high affinity phosphate transporter gens, OsPT1 and OsPT7, derived from rice, exhibit better growth responses compared with wild-type under phosphate starvation condition. Specially, OsPT7 gene has proven to be more effective to generate Arabidopsis transgenic plant tolerant to phosphate deficiency than OsPT1. Furthermore, the expression level of AtPT1 gene that is one of reporter genes specifically induced by phosphate starvation was significantly low compared with wild-type during phosphate starvation. Taken together, these results collectively suggest that over expression of OsPTl and OsPT7 genes derived from monocotyledonous plant function efficiently in the dicotyledonous plant, relieving stress response caused by phosphate starvation and leading to better growth rate.

  • This work investigates the device degradation p-channel PD SOI devices at various applied voltages as well as stress temperatures with respect to Body-Contact SOI (BC-SOI) and Floating-Body SOI (FB-SOI) MOSFETs. It is observed that the drain current degradation at the gate voltage of the maximum gate current is more significant in FB-SOI devices than in BC-SOI devices. For a stress at the gate voltage of the maximum gate current and elevated temperature, it is worth noting that the $V_{PT}$ Will be decreased by the amount of the HEIP plus the temperature effects. For a stress at $V_{GS}$ = $V_{DS}$ . the drain current decreases moderately with stress time at room temperature but it decreases significantly at the elevated temperature due to the negative bias temperature instability.

자폐스펙트럼 장애 영유아 어머니의 양육 스트레스 수준에 따른 심리적 증상의 차이 (The Differences of Psychological Symptoms According to the Level of Parenting Stress for Mothers of Infants With Autism Spectrum Disorder)

  • 목적 : 본 연구에서는 자폐스펙트럼 장애(ASD) 영유아의 어머니를 대상으로 양육 스트레스 총점, 부모영역 및 아동영역 수준에 따라 MMPI-2를 통해 어머니가 경험할 수 있는 양육 스트레스 수준에 따른 다양한 심리적 증상의 차이를 검증하였다. 연구방법 : 서울 소재의 종합병원 소아정신과, 재활의학센터, 발달 장애 클리닉 등에서 2010년에서 2015년까지 ASD로 진단을 받은 만 1세에서 5세까지의 영유아 어머니 72명을 대상으로 실시되어 축적된 한국판 부모 양육 스트레스 척도(K-PSI)와 다면적 인성검사 II(MMPI-2) 자료를 최종분석에 사용하였다. 결과 : 양육 스트레스 총점과 부모영역은 MMPI-2의 여러 임상 척도들과 유의한 상관관계를 나타냈지만, 아동영역은 유의한 상관관계를 나타내지 않았다. 또한, 양육 스트레스 총점 수준에 따른 심리적 증상의 차이를 검증한 결과, 위험 수준 집단이 정상 범위 집단보다 MMPI-2의 임상 척도 중 건강염려증(Hs), 우울(D), 편집증(Pa), 강박증(Pt), 조현병(Sc)이 유의하게 높았다. 양육 스트레스 부모영역에서는 위험 수준 집단이 정상 범위 집단보다 MMPI-2의 임상 척도 중 건강염려증(Hs), 우울(D), 히스테리(Hy), 반사회성(Pd), 편집증(Pa), 강박증(Pt), 조현병(Sc), 경조증(Ma), 내향성(Si)이 유의하게 높았다. 반면에 양육 스트레스 아동영역에서 위험 수준 집단과 정상 범위 집단 간의 차이는 유의하지 않았다. 결론 : 양육 스트레스 총점과 부모영역에서 위험 수준 집단의 심리적 증상이 유의하게 높았다는 것을 확인하였다.

혈액투석 치료 불이행 환자의 스트레스와 대처유형에 관한 연구 (A Study of The Treatment Related-Stressors and Stress Coping Methods of Hemodialysis Noncompliant)

  • Purpose: Purpose of the this study is to define the hemodialysis treatment-related stressors and stress coping methods in hemodialysis noncompliant patients. Method: Hemodialysis treatment-related stressors scale and stress coping style scale were used with 178 patients that received continuous hemodialysis treatment, met the noncompliance criteria. Collected data were analyzed by using the SPSS 12.0 program. Result: In hemodialysis noncompliant patients, Psychosocial stress were higher than physical stress, 'aesthetic thinking' was the most used. As recognition of health status was lower, hemodialysis treatment-related stressors were higher. In terms of causative disease, 'hypertension' pt used more 'problem-focus coping' and 'social support pursuit' than the other groups. As subjective recognition level of health status was higher, 'problem-focus coping' and 'social support pursuit' were more used. It was showed positive correlation between psychosocial stressors and 'aesthetic thinking'. Conclusion: Hemodialysis noncompliant patients had high psychosocial stress, accordingly, used 'aesthetic coping'. It means that they has negative coping to disease and hemodialysis treatment. Therefore, Nurses need to manage psychosocial aspects, which influence on noncompliant behaviors.

In situ Stress Measurements with Submonolayer Sensitivity As a Probe of Coherent-to-incoherent Matching at an Interface in Ultrathin Magnetic Films

  • In situ stress changes at interfaces of ultrathin magnetic films were measured by means of a non-contact optical fiber bundle displacement detector. A bending of the substrate due to stress of a deposited film was detected in cantilever geometry. The highest sensitivity of 134 mV/$\mu$m for the displacement detector was realized with a help of computer simulation. The detector was applied to in situ stress measurements of Co/Pt and Ni/Pd magnetic multilayer films prepared on the glass substrates by dc magnetron sputtering. The detector turned out to have a submonolayer sensitivity that enables to observe coherent-to-incoherent transition in these mismatched multilayers and even detect the stress changes within the monoatomic coverage. This highly sensitive detector paves new way to probe the stress relaxation at an interface in ultrathin films.
