몰드형 계기용 변압기의 소손원인 해석에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Deteriorated Cause Analysis of Mold Type Potential Transformer)

  • In this paper, we intend to establish the judgement of electrical fire through analysis of PT(Potential Transformer) using the power installation. The columnar structure and the void generated by abrupt heat grew at the tenter of boundary-face on the metallurgical microscope analysis. The detection of OK lines was confirmed by EDX(Energy Dispersive X-ray spectroscopy) as melting and recombination due to the layer-short of the wiring. We found that the thermal-weight decrease occurred at 300$^{\circ}C$ in case of being the thermal-deterioration on the base of the result that analyzed the insulated-materials by using TGA, and the thermal reaction limited-value of PT insulator was about 300$^{\circ}C$ on the DSC curve. As this analysis, we confirmed what the layer-short appeared in the wiring of PT.

  • This paper described the development example of optical CT(Current Transformer) and optical PT (Potential Transformer) which is measurement system of current and voltage of electric power line using Electro-Optic effect and Magneto-Optic effect. We designed the optical CT of 22KV class and 154KV class and an optical PT of 22KV class. And now the filed testing is in progress in a KEPCO's substation.

  • High accurate and stable 132 kV potential transformers (PTs) including 66 kV & 22 kV PT with stability of less than 0.0033 % for 13 month and with ratio error within $\pm$ 0.024 % at full rated voltage have been developed. The PTs are useful as the reference PT of the PT comparator system in the voltage range of 11 kV to 132 kV PT.

  • This paper describes the analysis results on the PT ferroresonance at 154 kV GIS (gas Insulated substation by EMTP (Electro-magnetic Transient Program). We had simulated the PT ferroresonance between a potential transformer(PT) and an open circuit breaker's grading capacitance. The ferroresonance leads to very large power frequency overvoltages on PT bus and subsequent insulation failure. The large power can be supplied to the PT by the high voltage on the opened circuit due to the grading capacitance and equivalent capacitance of the buses during the ferroresonance. The damping circuit connected on the secondary winding were considered in the model. The actual countermeasure include a saturable inductor and a resistor series-mounted, but the 2 ohms of damping resistance was used in the computational model.

  • Bulky iron-core potential transformers (PT) are installed in a tank of gas insulated switchgears (GIS) for a system voltage measurement in power substations. In this paper, we studied an electronic voltage transformer (EVT) embedded in a spacer for miniaturization, eco-friendliness, and performance improvement of GIS. The prototype EVT consists of a capacitive probe (CP) that can be embedded in a spacer and a voltage Follower with a high input and a low output impedance. The CP was fabricated in the form of a Flexible-PCB to acquire the insulation performance and to withstand vibration and shock during operation. Voltage ratio of the prototype EVT is about 42,270, and the frequency bandwidth of -3 dB ranges from 0.33 Hz to 3.9 MHz. The voltage ratio error evaluated at about 6%, 12% and 18% of the rated voltage of 170 kV was 0.32%, and the phase error was 12.9 minutes. These results were within the accuracy for the class 0.5 specified in IEC 60044-7 and satisfy even in ranges from 80% to 120% of the rated voltage. If the prototype EVT replaces the conventional iron-core potential transformer, it is expected that the height of the GIS could be reduced by 11% and the amount of SF6 will be reduced by at least 10%.

  • 본 논문에서는 디젤발전기의 병렬운전에 대해 소개하고 병렬운전을 수행하기 위한 조건들을 확인한다. 먼저 디젤발전기의 전달함수를 검토하고 디젤발전기의 특성을 용량별로 분석하여 일반화하며 주파수제어기를 설계한다. 계기용변류기(CT: current transformer)와 계기용변압기(PT: potential transformer)를 이용한 전류, 전압측정 회로를 설계하고 시뮬레이션을 통하여 타당성을 검토하고 3상 전력과 주파수를 제어하는 병렬운전제어기의 설계 방안을 제안한다.

  • Ferroresonance is a resonance condition between a nonlinear iron core of a potential transformer (PT) and a capacitance. It can lead to PT voltages several times the normal equipment ratings, and cause the isolation broken and damage to equipments near the PT. This paper proposes a analysis method of PT ferroresonance in the time domain. Based on the simplified equivalent circuit, a differential equation was found and the flux was calculated when ferroresonance generates. The forced response and natural response were also analyzed. The performance of proposed analysis method was verified with the EMTP-RV generated data. The method can help analysis chaotic ferroresonance and periodic ferroresonance.

  • In nuclear plants, UVR (under voltage relay, 27r) of 1E bus, which protected and supplied power to essential loads, to safety trip of reactor and supplied to starting signal of EDG (emergency diesel generators) automatically. therefore UVR tolerances setting and calculation method has been important to nuclear facility. If calculation and tolerances values differ or ignore, may induced power loss and economical loss by protective failure. This paper show results for calculation methods, and whether dependant or independent methods for factors. included whether PT (potential transformer/voltage transformer) tolerance or not adapted, and based on UVR setting method within a difference minimum and maximum of rated voltage to safety operation in nuclear plants.
