북한의 고속도로 전망 및 AHP기법을 활용한 투자우선순위 결정 (An Extensive View on the Highway Network in North Korea and the Determination of Investment Priority Using AHP Analysis)

  • 본 논문에서는 북한의 인구현황, 도로현황, 도로의 기능 및 역할을 살펴보았다. 또한, 남한과 중국의 도로망 및 Asian Highway와 연계할 수 있는 도로에 대해 남북축과 동서측 $5{\times}5$로 전망하였다. 추가적으로, 도로의 투자우선순위를 결정하기 위하여 평가항목 및 가중치를 산정하고 전문가그룹의 설문조사를 바탕으로 AHP 분석방법을 활용하였다. 분석결과 축별 우선순위는 남북축은 남북2축(개성~평양~안주~중국),남북5축, 남북1축, 남북3축, 남북4축 순으로 선정되었으며 동서축은 동서2축(남포~평양~원산), 동서1축, 동서3축, 동서4축, 동서5축 구간이 투자우선순위가 높은 것으로 분석되었다.

Heuristics for Job Shop Scheduling Problems with Progressive Weighted Tardiness Penalties and Inter-machine Overlapping Sequence-dependent Setup Times

  • This paper presents new scheduling heuristics, namely Mean Progressive Weighted Tardiness Estimator (MPWT) Heuristic Method and modified priority rules with sequence-dependent setup times consideration. These are designed to solve job shop scheduling problems with new performance measures - progressive weighted tardiness penalties. More realistic constraints, which are inter-machine overlapping sequence-dependent setup times, are considered. In real production environments, inter-machine overlapping sequence-dependent setups are significant. Therefore, modified scheduling generation algorithms of active and nondelay schedules for job shop problems with inter-machine overlapping sequence-dependent setup times are proposed in this paper. In addition, new customer-based measures of performance, which are total earliness and progressive weighted tardiness, and total progressive weighted tardiness, are proposed. The objective of the first experiment is to compare the proposed priority rules with the consideration of sequence-dependent setup times and the standard priority rules without setup times consideration. The results indicate that the proposed priority rules with setup times consideration are superior to the standard priority rules without the consideration of setup times. From the second experiment and the third experiment to compare the proposed MPWT heuristic approach with the efficient priority rules with setup times consideration, the MPWT heuristic method is significantly superior to the Batched Apparent Tardiness Cost with Sequence-dependent Setups (BATCS) rule, and other priority rules based on total earliness and progressive weighted tardiness, and total earliness and tardiness.

우선순위기반 동적 프로그래밍을 이용한 직접부하제어 (Direct Load Control Using Priority Based Dynamic Programming)

  • 현재 운용되고 있는 직접부하제어 알고리즘은 직접부하제어 사업에 참여에 따른 수용가의 개별 부하별 우선순위가 고려되지 않고 있고, 또한 제어 시간도 수용가의 불편을 고려되지 않고 획일적으로 일정 시간대에 일률적으로 수용가의 부하를 제어함으로써 참여 수용가의 불편 증대로 참여율이 저조한 실정이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 참여 수용가의 불편을 최소화시키고 또한 개별 부하에 대한 우선순위 요구를 최대한으로 반영하기 위해 우선순위 기반 동적 프로그래밍을 이용한 직접부하제어 알고리즘을 제시한다. 제시되는 알고리즘은 직접부하제어가 발생되기 1시간 전에 참여 수용가가 스스로 해당 부하의 우선순위를 결정하여 직접부하제어 센터로 I-Mail 등으로 보네면 센터에서는 현재 부하의 전력량과 우선순위 그리고 OFF주기 등을 고려하여 동적 프로그래밍을 수행하여 OFF되어야 할 부하들을 선택하게 된다.

동적 우선순위 제어방식을 사용한 ATM 스위치의 성능분석 (Performance Analysis of ATM Switch Using Dynamic Priority Control Mechanisms)

  • In this paper, we proposed two kids of dynamic priority control mechanisms controlling the cell service ratio in order to improve the QOS(Quality of Service). We also analyse theoretically the characteristics of cell loss probability and mean cell delay time by applying the proposed priority control mechanisms to ATM switch with output buffer. The proposed priority control mechanisms have the same principles of storing cells into buffer but the different principles of serving cells from buffer. The one is the control mechanism controlling the cell service ratio according to the relative cell occupancy ratio of buffer, the other is the control mechanism controlling the cell service ratio according to both the relative cell occupancy ratio of buffer and the average arrival rate. The two service classes of our concern are the delay sensitive class and the loss sensitive class. The analytical results show that the proposed control mechanisms are able to improve the QOS, the characteristics of cell loss probability and mean cell delay time, by selecting properly the relative cell occupancy ratio of buffer and the average arrival rate. conventional DLB algorithm does not support synchronous cells, but the proposed algorithm gives higher priority to synchronous cells. To reduce synchronous cell loss rate, the synchronous cell detector is used in the proposed algorithm. Synchronous cell detector detects synchronous cells, and passes them cells to the 2nd Leaky-Bucket. So it is similar to give higher priority to synchronous cells. In this paper, the proposed algorithm used audio/video traffic modeled by On/Off and Two-state MMPP, and simulated by SLAM II package. As simulation results, the proposed algorithm gets lower synchronous cell loss rate than the conventional DLB algorithms. The improved DLB algorithm for multimedia synchronization can be extended to any other cells which require higher priority.

자율주행차용 우선순위 기반 다중 DNN 모델 스케줄링 프레임워크 (Priority-based Multi-DNN scheduling framework for autonomous vehicles)

  • 최근 딥러닝 기술이 발전함에 따라 자율 사물 기술이 주목받으면서 드론이나 자율주행차 같은 임베디드 시스템에서 DNN을 많이 활용하고 있다. 클라우드에 의지하지 않고 높은 인식 정확도를 위해서 큰 규모의 연산이 가능하고 다수의 DNN을 처리할 수 있는 임베디드 시스템들이 출시되고 있다. 이러한 시스템 내부에는 다양한 수준의 우선순위를 갖는 DNN들이 존재한다. 자율주행차의 안전 필수에 관련된 DNN들은 가장 높은 우선순위를 갖고 이들은 반드시 최우선적으로 처리되어야 한다. 본 논문에서는 다수의 DNN이 동시에 실행될 때 우선순위를 고려해서 DNN을 스케줄링하는 프레임워크를 제안한다. 낮은 우선순위의 DNN이 먼저 실행되고 있어도 높은 우선순위의 DNN이 이를 선점할 수 있어 자율주행차의 안전 필수 응용의 빠른 응답 특성을 보장한다. 실험을 통하여 확인한 결과 실제 상용보드에서 최대 76.6% 성능이 향상되었다.

수변녹지 조성을 위한 토지매수 우선순위 산정 방안 연구 (A Study on Land Acquisition Priority for Establishing Riparian Buffer Zones in Korea)

  • The Korean government has purchased land properties alongside any significant water bodies before setting up the buffers to secure water qualities. Since the annual budgets are limited, however, there has always been the issue of which land parcels ought to be given the priority. Therefore, this study aims to develop efficient mechanism for land acquisition priorities in stream corridors that would ultimately be vegetated for riparian buffer zones. The criteria of land acquisition priority were driven through literary review along with experts' advice. The relative weights of their value and priorities for each criterion were computed using the Analytical Hierarchy Process(AHP) method. Major findings of the study are as follows: 1. The decision-making structural model for land acquisition priority focuses mainly on the reduction of non-point source pollutants(NSPs). This fact is highly associated with natural and physical conditions and land use types of surrounding areas. The criteria were classified into two categories-NSPs runoff areas and potential NSPs runoff areas. 2. Land acquisition priority weights derived for NSPs runoff areas and potential NSPs runoff areas were 0.862 and 0.138, respectively. This implicates that much higher priority should be given to the land parcels with NSPs runoff areas. 3. Weights and priorities of sub-criteria suggested from this study include: proximity to the streams(0.460), land cover(0.189), soil permeability(0.117), topographical slope(0.096), proximity to the roads(0.058), land-use types(0.036), visibility to the streams(0.032), and the land price(0.012). This order of importance suggests, as one can expect, that it is better to purchase land parcels that are adjacent to the streams. 4. A standard scoring system including the criteria and weights for land acquisition priority was developed which would likely to allow expedited decision making and easy quantification for priority evaluation due to the utilization of measurable spatial data. Further studies focusing on both point and non-point pollutants and GIS-based spatial analysis and mapping of land acquisition priority are needed.

Relationship between biofilm formation and the antimicrobial resistance in the Staphylococcus spp. isolated from animal and air

  • Biofilm has been described as a barrier, which produced by microorganisms to survive and protect themselves against various environments, like antibiotic agents. Staphylococcus spp. is a common cause of nosocomial and environmental infection. Thirty-six and thirty-five Staphylococci were isolated from animals and air, respectively. Based on the biofilm forming ability of the bacterium reported in our previous report, relationship between biofilm formation and antibiotic-resistance was investigated in this study. Regarding antibiotics susceptibility, cefazolin was the most effective agent to the bacteria. Strong biofilm-forming Staphylococcus spp. isolates might have a higher antibiotic resistance than weak biofilm isolates regardless of the presence of antibiotic resistance genes (p < 0.05). This result suggested that the chemical complexity of the biofilm might increase the antibiotic resistance due to the decrease of antibiotic diffusion into cells through the extensive matrix.

돌발적인 도착이 있는 우선순위 이산 큐잉 모델 (A discrete Time Priority Queueing Model with Bursty Arrivals)

  • 이 논문에서는 서비스 우선순위가 다른 2개의 독자적인 입력 스트림을 가지는 큐잉 모델을 연구하였다. 구체적으로 head-of-line 우선 순위가 적용되는 IBP+BP/D/I시스템을 분석하였는데, 여기에는 IBP는 Interrupted Bernoulli Process를 BP는 Bernoulli Process를 표시한다. BP 스트립은 IBP 스트립에 대하여 서비스 우선권을 가진다. 본 논문은 이 우선 순위 큐에 대하여 시스템 상태의 안정상태분포와 각 클래스 별 고객의 대기 시간분포 및 출발시간 간격분포를 구할 수 잇는 정확한 분석방법을 제공하고 있다. 우선 순위가 다른 두 입력스트림의 다양한 파라미터들이 시스템의 성능에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 보여줄 수 있는 수치적 예들도 제시하였다.

Faultless Protection Methods in Self-Healing Ethernet Ring Networks

  • Self-healing Ethernet rings show promise for realizing the SONET/SDH-grade resilience in Carrier Ethernet infrastructures. However, when a ring is faulty, high-priority protection messages are processed in less time than low-priority data frames are processed. In this situation, any delayed data frames either being queued or traveling through long ring spans will cause the ring nodes to generate incorrect forwarding information. As a result, the data frames spread in the wrong direction, causing the ring to become unstable. To solve this problem, we propose four schemes, that is, dual flush, flush delay timer setting, purge triggering, and priority setting, and evaluate their protection performance under various traffic conditions on a ring based on the Ethernet ring protection (ERP) method. In addition, we develop an absorbing Markov chain model of the ERP protocol to observe how traffic congestion can impact the protection performance of the proposed priority setting scheme. Based on our observations, we propose a more reliable priority setting scheme, which guarantees faultless protection, even in a congested ring.

중요도-만족도 격차분석을 이용한 품질 속성의 우선순위 결정 (Prioritizing quality attributes using I-S Gap analysis)

  • Purpose: To obtain the area for improvement, the Importance-Performance analysis(IPA) uses relatively simple questions, that is, satisfaction and importance at attribute level. However, no attempt has been made to consider the gap between own company's performance and those of competitors in IPA, in the field of quality management. This study is aimed to suggest a new prioritizing method for improvement and to test for validity of the proposed technique. Methods: This study used data collected from Song and Lim(2015), which is satisfaction of employees, customers and competitors as well as importance data for 7 quality attributes of K animal hospital. A correlation comparison with other priority methods such as Bacon(2003)'s model and Matzler and Hinterhuber(1998)'s QI index is conducted. Results: The priority results by the proposed method shows better in correlation coefficient with customer perceived priority for improvement than other methods. Conclusion: From the result of the current study, it can be concluded that the result of the proposed method is valid, while it is relatively easy to understand and analyze, and therefore no additional survey is necessary for improvement priority.
