LTE 특성과 개인의 혁신성이 LTE 스마트폰 수용에 미치는 영향 (Influence of LTE Characteristic and Personal Innovativeness on LTE Smart Phone Acceptance)

  • 본 연구는 LTE 스마트폰의 수용에 영향을 미치는 요인을 도출하기 위한 연구이다. LTE 스마트폰의 수용에 영향을 미치는 요인을 살펴보기 위해 확장된 기술수용모델을 사용하였으며, 변수는 선행연구를 고찰하여 LTE의 특징변수와 개인적인 특징에 관한 변수를 선정하였다. 본 연구는 설문조사를 통해 이루어졌으며, 설문대상은 LTE 스마트폰의 주 사용자 층을 감안하여 20대를 위주로 분석하였다. 연구결과, LTE 스마트폰의 수용에 영향을 미치는 요인은 개인의 혁신성, 속도, 가격 요인으로 나타났다. 본 연구결과를 토대로 향후 마케팅 전략을 입안함에 있어 속도뿐만이 아닌 개인의 혁신성 및 가격에 관한 사항을 자극할 수 있는 요소가 추가되어진다면 더욱 의미 있고 효과적인 마케팅 결과를 도출할 수 있으리라 판단된다.

고급형 아파트에 대한 소비자의 견해 및 선호경향 (A Consumer′s Opinion and Preference Trend in Luxurious Apartment)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze consumer's opinion and preference trend for luxurious apartments. Data were collected from 167 consumers visiting luxurious apartment model houses from Jan. 2000 to Nov. 2000. The findings of this study are as follows. 1) It is revealed that consumers are positive for luxurious apartments because of luxurious interior facilities and finishing materials convenient storage space and closet. It is found that they are willing to purchase the luxurious apartment if affordable. 2) It is revealed that consumers are negative in using imported materials in general. However, consumers are positive in using imported materials for kitchen and bathroom utilities because of better design and function. Also it is found that consumers are willing to purchase domestic materials if price and quality are same as imported one. 3) It is revealed that consumers prefer to have most spacious living room and master bed room which are facing South. They prefer to have built-in furniture in multi-in purpose room, children's bedroom and entrance hall in priority order. It is revealed that consumer want to choose their favorable interior plan and finishing materials among several options recommended by constructor.

Present Situation and Prospects of Sericulture in China

  • Since 1970, China has become the biggest cocoon producer in the world, and made the highest historical record of cocoon output for 759,800 tons in 1995. However, in 1996 cocoon production reduced sharply to 470,900 tons. After a ten-year adjustment and reform, sericultural areas have shifted from developed regions to developing regions and from the east to the west. From 2000, the cocoon output has started to increase restoringly. By 2004 it recovered to 547,091 tons. With the development of market economy, sericulture management has been changed, including mulberry fields concentrated to the specializated households and cooperatives, cocoons produced in larger scale instead of individuals, Silkworm egg producing enterprises gradually changed into non-governmental joint-stock ones. The mechanism of market cocoon price has been gradually established. The management model of combination of trade, industry and agriculture is pushing and improving. It is the fruit of modern science and technology, especially sericultural basic research, that provides China's sericulture with the opportunity and vital force. China's sericulture, therefore, will continue to develop steadily in future.

Multi-agent Negotiation System for Class Scheduling

  • The current class scheduling has difficulties in reflecting students' preferences for the classes that they want to take and forecasting the demands of classes. Also, it is usually a repetitive and tedious work to allocate classes to limited time and cesourres Although many research studios in task allocation and meeting scheduling intend to solve similar problems, they have limitations to be directly applied to the class-scheduling problem. In this paper. a class scheduling system using multi agents-based negotiation is suggested. This system consists of student agents, professor agents and negotiation agents each agent arts in accordance with its respective human user's preference and performs the repetitive and tedious process instead of the user The suggested system utilizes negotiation cost concept to derive coalition in the agent's negotiation. The negotiation cost is derived from users' bidding prices on classes, where each biding price represents a user's preference on a selected class. The experiments were performed to verify the negotiation model in the scheduling system. The result of the experiment showed that it could produce a feasible scheduling solution minimizing the negotiation cost and reflecting the users' performance. The performance of the experiments was evaluated by a class success ratio.

AHP를 이용한 OTT 평가요인에 관한 연구 (A Study on the OTT Evaluation Factors Using AHP)

  • Purpose Due to COVID19, the over-the-top media service (OTT) market is growing faster than expected at an annual average of 26.4%. In Korea, WAVVE, which integrated SKT's Oksusu and POOQ in September 2019, outperformed Netflix in the number of users immediately after its launch, but the number of users gradually decreased. Research on OTT investigated the spread of new media due to changes in regulations or policy, mostly in broadcasting media. On the other hand, OTT research in information systems began after the success of Netflix. It investigated consumers' satisfaction with information technology using the Information Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). This study investigates changes in consumer perceptions in the OTT market, which has grown after the Netflix's entry into Korea, the emergence of WAVVE and new OTT service providers, and the spread of COVID19. Design/methodology/approach This study selects contents, fees, service quality, and additional services as factors to evaluate consumer perception using AHP. Findings According to the 101 respondents, the content was the most important factor, followed by service quality, fees, and additional services. Contrary to previous findings that price is the determining factor in service adoption, this study reveals that consumers are willing to pay a reasonable amount for rich content and excellent service quality. Future research will use demographic analysis to reveal differences in consumer's perceptions of service selection.

산업군 내 동질성을 고려한 온라인 뉴스 기반 주가예측 (Online news-based stock price forecasting considering homogeneity in the industrial sector)

  • 주가 예측은 학문적으로나 실용적으로나 중요한 문제이기에, 주가 예측에 관련된 연구가 활발히 진행되었다. 빅 데이터 시대에 도입하면서, 빅 데이터를 결합한 주가 예측 연구도 활발히 진행되고 있다. 다수의 데이터를 기반으로 기계 학습을 이용한 연구가 주를 이룬다. 특히 언론의 효과를 접목한 연구 방법들이 주목을 받고 있는데, 그중 온라인 뉴스를 분석하여 주가 예측에 활용하는 연구가 주를 이루고 있다. 기존 연구들은 온라인 뉴스가 개별 회사에 대한 미치는 영향을 주로 살펴보았다. 또한, 관련성이 높은 기업끼리 서로 영향을 주는 것을 고려하는 방법도 최근에 연구되고 있다. 이는 동질성을 가지는 산업군에 대한 효과를 살펴본 것인데, 기존 연구에서 동질성을 가지는 산업군은 국제 산업 분류 표준에 따른다. 즉, 기존 연구들은 국제 산업 분류 표준으로 나뉜 산업군이 동질성을 가진다는 가정하에서 분석을 시행하였다. 하지만 기존 연구들은 영향력을 가지는 회사를 고려하지 못한 채 예측하였거나 산업군 내에서 이질성이 존재하는 점을 반영하지 못했다는 한계점을 가진다. 본 연구는 산업군 내에 이질성이 존재함을 밝히고, 이질성을 반영하지 못한 기존 연구의 한계점을 K-평균 군집 분석을 적용하여, 주가에 영향을 미치는 산업군의 동질적인 효과를 반영할 수 있는 방법론을 제안하였다. 방법론이 적합하다는 것을 증명하기 위해 3년간의 온라인 뉴스와 주가를 통해 실험한 결과, 다수의 경우에서 본 논문에서 제시한 방법이 좋은 결과를 나타냄을 확인할 수 있었으며, 국제 산업 분류 표준 산업군 내에서 이질성이 클수록 본 논문에서 제시한 방법이 좋은 효과를 보인다는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 본 연구는 국제 산업 분류 표준으로 나누어진 기업들이 높은 동질성을 가지지 않는 다는것을 밝히고 이를 반영한 예측 모형의 효율성을 입증하였다는 점에서 의의를 가진다.

Neural Network Analysis in Forecasting the Malaysian GDP

  • The aim of this study is to develop basic artificial neural network models in forecasting the in-sample gross domestic product (GDP) of Malaysia. GDP is one of the main indicators in presenting the macro economic condition of a country as set by the world authority bodies such as the World Bank. Hence, this study uses an artificial neural network-based approach to make predictions concerning the economic growth of Malaysia. This method has been proposed due to its ability to overcome multicollinearity among variables, as well as the ability to cope with non-linear problems in Malaysia's growth data. The selected inputs and outputs are based on the previous literatures as well as the economic growth theory. Therefore, the selected inputs are exports, imports, private consumption, government expenditure, consumer price index (CPI), inflation rate, foreign direct investment (FDI) and money supply, which includes M1 and M2. Whilst, the output is real gross domestic product growth rate. The results of this study showed that the neural network method gives the smallest value of mean error which is 0.81 percent with a total difference of 0.70 percent. This implies that the neural network model is appropriate and is a relevant method in forecasting the economic growth of Malaysia.

주택연금의 옵션가치 평가 연구 (A Study on the Evaluation of an Option on a Reverse Mortgage)

  • We estimate the option value embedded in reverse mortgages using the framework of European put option. The reverse mortgage is a very useful financial product for senior citizens who own homes but do not have a cash income while it is a high risk one from lender's perspective. One of benefits of the reverse mortgages is that the debt limit is restricted to the scope of the disposition price of the collateralized house, which is considered a put option to borrowers. The put option is evaluated using Black-Scholes model and a sensitive analysis is performed on variables such as discount rate, volatility, and time period. We confirm that the option value of reverse mortgages increases rapidly as the borrowers live longer than their life expectancy. The results of this study can be used to promote the reverse mortgage program more effectively in order to solve the problem of income shortage of the elderly homeowners.

  • Nuclear technology made a great contribution to the national economy and society by localization of nuclear power plant design, and by stabilization of electricity price, etc. It is very important to conduct the retrospective analysis for the nuclear technology contribution to the national economy and society, but it is more important to conduct prospective analysis for the nuclear technology contribution. The term "technology value" is often used in the prospective analysis to value the result of technology development. There are various definitions of technology value, but generally it means the increment of future revenue or the reduction of future cost by technology development. These technology valuation methods are widely used in various fields (information technology or energy technology, etc). The main objective of this research is to develop valuation methodology that represents unique characteristics of nuclear power technology. The valuation methodology that incorporates market share changes of generation technologies was developed. The technology valuation model which consists of five modules (electricity demand forecast module, technology development module, market share module, electricity generation module, total cost module) to incorporate market share changes of generation technologies was developed. The nuclear power technology value assessed by this technology valuation model was 3 times more than the value assessed by the conventional method. So it was confirmed that it is very important to incorporates market share changes of generation technologies. The valuation results of nuclear power technology in this study can be used as policy data for ensuring the benefits of nuclear power R&D (Research and Development) investment.

신재생에너지 보급량 예측을 위한 시스템다이내믹스 모델 개발 (The System Dynamics Model Development for Forecasting the Capacity of Renewables)

  • Korea is implementing strong regulatory derives such as Feed in Tariff to provide incentives for renewable energy developers. But if the government is planning to increase the renewable capacity with only "Price policy" not considering the investors behavior in the competitive electricity market, the policy would be failed. It is necessary system thinking and simulation model analysis to decide government's incentive goal. This study is focusing on the assesment of the competitiveness of renewable energy with the current Feed in Tariff incentives compared to the traditional energy source, specially coal and gas. The simulation results show that the market penetration of renewable energy with the current Feed-in-Tariff level is about 60-70% of the government goal under condition that the solar energy and fuel cell are assumed to provide the whole capacity set in the governmental goal. If the contribution from solar and fuel cell is lower than planned, the total penetration of renewable energy will be dropped more. Notably, Wind power turned out to be proved only 10% of government goal because of its low availability.
