머신러닝 기반 안면인식 기능을 포함한 비접촉 잠금장치 설계 및 개발 (Design and development of non-contact locks including face recognition function based on machine learning)

  • 감염 질병의 심각한 확산으로 인해 방역의 중요성이 점점 커지고 있다. 또한 방역 이슈가 없는 언택트 산업에 대한 관심도 늘어나고 있다. 본 논문에서는 등록된 사용자의 얼굴을 인식함으로써 비접촉 방식으로 출입을 통제하는 비용 효율적인 라즈베리파이 기반 도어락 시스템을 설계하고 개발한다. 우선, OpenCV의 Haar-based cascade를 사용하여 매우 단순한 특징들을 조합하여 객체를 찾고, 얼굴 인식을 진행한다. 그리고 LBPH (Local Binary Pattern Histogram)을 사용하여 이미지의 질감을 이진화하여 특징을 찾아낸다. 라즈베리파이 3B+ 보드, 초음파 센서, 카메라 모듈, 모터 등으로 언택트 도어락 하드웨어를 구현하고, 얼굴 인식 및 매칭 알고리즘을 포함한 소프트웨어를 기반으로 약 500장의 이미지 데이터를 학습시켜 실험한 결과, 최대 85.7%의 인식률을 보이며 사용자를 구분하는 성능을 검증할 수 있었다. 또한, Haar-cascade 알고리즘 성능의 광원에 대한 영향성을 파악하여 그 개선 가능성을 살펴보았다.

LMI-based Sliding Mode Speed Tracking Control Design for Surface-mounted Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motors

  • For precisely regulating the speed of a permanent magnet synchronous motor system with unknown load torque disturbance and disturbance inputs, an LMI-based sliding mode control scheme is proposed in this paper. After a brief review of the PMSM mathematical model, the sliding mode control law is designed in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). By adding an extended observer which estimates the unknown load torque, the proposed speed tracking controller can guarantee a good control performance. The stability of the proposed control system is proven through the reachability condition and an approximate method to implement the chattering reduction is also presented. The proposed control algorithm is implemented by using a digital signal processor (DSP) TMS320F28335. The simulation and experimental results verify that the proposed methodology achieves a more robust performance and a faster dynamic response than the conventional linear PI control method in the presence of PMSM parameter uncertainties and unknown external noises.

  • In general, the electromagnetic transient phenomenon always exists in induction motor(IM) with the torque change. The control performance of IM is very worse than that of D.C motor owing to this transient phenomenon. So many studies about the elimination methods of the transient phenomenon have been making progress. Interesting methods of them are the Field acceleration method(FAM) and the method of impulse addition on the input voltage at the time point of torque change. In this paper, first, the circuit equation of IM is derived from the phase segregation method. The torque equation consisted of the stator and rotor currents is derived from the solving of the circuit equation. As we well known, the transient terms exist in this the torque equation. The method of impulse addition on the input voltage at the instance of torque change is confirmed theoretically for the elimination of the transient phenomenon. With the base on it, the author proposed a real time algorithm to eliminate the transient terms. The control system is consisted of the PI controller with the feedforward of torque change. The author could confirm that the quick stepwise responses of torque and speed can be obtained from response simulations.

  • Recently, technical trend in machine tools is focused on enhancing of speed, accuracy and reliability. Such high speed usually results in thermal displacement and structural deformation. To minimize such thermal effect, most precision machine tools adopt high precision cooling system. This study proposes a temperature control for an oil cooler system using PI control with fuzzy logic. In a cooler system, the refrigerant flow rate is controlled by rotational speed of the compressor, where the outlet oil temperature is selected as the control variable. The fuzzy control rules iteratively correct PID parameters to minimize the error, difference between the outlet temperature and the reference one. Here, the ambient temperature is used as the reference one. To show the effectiveness of the proposed method, a series of experiments are conducted for an oil cooler system of machine tools, and the results are compared with the ones of a conventional PID control. The experimental results show that the proposed method has advantages of smaller overshoot and smaller steady state error.

IMV를 이용한 굴착기 작업장치 궤적제어 (Trajectory Control of Excavator Actuators Using IMV)

  • The IMV is a combination of four two-way valve systems which replace a conventional four-way spool valve to improve efficiency mostly in excavator hydraulics. As the environmental regulations for construction equipment have tightened, some overseas advanced companies have released commercial excavators in which the MCV is implemented with the IMVs. Development of the IMV type MCV relies on the control algorithm as well as the robust performance of proportional flow control valves. In this study, the IMV controller was designed and verified with experiments for the excavator working unit, which determines the IMV mode of operation and the extent of the valve opening in consideration of the load conditions on hydraulic actuators. First, the open-loop controller was designed with a joystick command vs. a PSV reference current map comprising several control parameters in to compensate for the different flow characteristics and non-linearities of two-way flow control valves. Second, the closed-loop controller was designed with the PI control fed by the actuator displacement and outputs actuator percent effort equivalent to the operator's joystick command. Finally, the performance of the IMV type MCV was verified with the trajectory control of position references derived from the energy consumption test standard. Experimental results showed the control performance of the IMV developed in this study, and suggest that future studies to be conducted to advance technical progress.

  • 최근 센서 디바이스들의 기술이 발달하고 있다. 그에 따라 기기들의 크기가 소형화 되고 다양한 기능들을 적용 할 수 있다. 그 중에서도 영상처리 기술을 이용하여 사용자의 주거 공간의 상황을 주시하고 데이터베이스에 저장된 위험 상황을 탐지한다. 위험 상황을 탐지 할 경우 다른 통신 디바이스에게 정보를 전달하여 사용자에게 즉시 경보를 울릴 수 있도록 M2M 환경을 구축한다. 본 논문에서는 OpenCV의 색깔추적 알고리즘과 라즈베리파이를 이용해 M2M환경을 구축하고 사용자에게 화재 발생 시 경보를 울리고 후속조치에 대한 정보를 제공하는 솔루션을 소개하고자 한다.

  • This paper presents a new approach to obstacle avoidance for mobile robot in unknown or partially unknown environments. The method combines two navigation subsystems: low level and high level. The low level subsystem takes part in the control of linear, angular velocities using a multivariable PI controller, and the nonlinear position control. The high level subsystem uses ultrasonic and IR sensors to detect the unknown obstacle include static and dynamic obstacle. This approach provides both obstacle avoidance and target-following behaviors and uses only the local information for decision making for the next action. Also, we propose a new algorithm for the identification and solution of the local minima situation during the robot's traversal using the set of fuzzy rules. The system has been successfully demonstrated by simulations and experiments.

  • This paper describes the implementation of the vector control schemes for a variable-speed 131kW PMSM (Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor) in super-high speed application. The vector control with synchronous reference frame current regulator has been implemented with the challenging requirements such as the extremely low stator inductance$(28^{\mu}H)$, the high dc link voltage(600V) and the high excitation frequency(1.2kHz). Because the conventional position sensor is not reliable in super-high speed, a vector control scheme without any position sensor has been proposed. The proposed sensorless algorithm is implemented by processing the output voltage of the PI current regulator, and hence the structure is simple and the estimated speed is robust to the measurement noise. The experimental system has been built and the proposed control has been implemented and evaluated. The test result, up to the speed of 60,000 r/min, shows the validity of the proposed control.

  • <구일집>은 9장으로 이루어진 조선 후기의 대표적인 산학서이다. 473개 이상의 문제와 그에 대한 풀이가 주를 이루는 이 책의 내용을 분석함으로써 당시의 전문 산학 자에 의한 수학적 활동을 음미할 수 있다 그 중, 측정 단위와 소수 표기, 원주율 및 원의 넓이와 구의 부피, 거듭제곱 명명법, 계산 도구인 산대의 이용, 남거나 모자라는 양에 대한 계산법인 영부족술, 연립방정식의 해법인 방정술, 다항식의 표기법인 천원술, 고차방정식의 해법인 개방술 등은 오늘날의 수학 지식 및 방법과 비교할 때 특히 주목할 만하다. 이러한 분석에 기초하여 학교 수학에서의 교육적 활용 가능성을 타진해 본다.

  • The pumped storage power plants have excellent load following characteristics. It can also be committed quickly for synchronous reserve when it is in the generating mode because it can readily increase its generating power and, consequently, increases the overall system reliability. There are strong incentives for standing the system reliability. Additionally, $CO_2$ emission can be typically impacted due to operation of pumped generators. The increase or decrease of $CO_2$ depends on the generation mix. This paper proposes evaluation of reliability, economy and environment of power system considering pumped generator. This paper describes three case studies of the reliability and economy and environment according to capacity factor and storage capacity of pumped generators. The probabilistic production simulation model is used in this paper. The practicality and effectiveness of the proposed approach are demonstrated by simulation studies for a real size power system model on the $5^{th}$ power plan in Korea.
