Design of Fuzzy Control for High Performance of Induduction Motor Drive (유도전동기 드라이브의 고성능 제어를 위한 퍼지제어기의 설계)

  • For high performance induction motor drives such as mill drives, elevator, spindle drive, NC and so on, smart speed controls is usually required, that requires a precise current control. This paper is proposes design of fuzzy controller which makes use of the output voltage of the space vector PWM inverter. Also, proposes the performance fuzzy controller for high performance vector control of induction motor drive system. The performance of a fuzzy controller is compared with that of an PI controller in an internal loop. The validity of the proposed technique is confirmed by simulation results for induction motor drive system.

  • In this paper, we designed the adaptive fuzzy controller(AFLC) using neural network and tabu search. We tuned the weights of neural network changing adaptively input/output gain of fuzzy logic controller and the gain of fuzzy logic controller using tabu search. To evaluate the proposed method's effectiveness, we apply the proposed AFLC to the speed control of an actual AC servomotor system. The experimental results show that AFLC has the better control performance than PI controller in terms of settling time, rising time and overshoot.

  • In this paper, control schemes are developed for a propulsion system(Converter/Inverter) in electrical train. A robust controller for PWM converter is proposed. The converter controller consists of a PI controller for DC output voltage and a current controller using error-space approach for maintaining the sinusoidal current waveform and unity power factor. This proposed method is based on characteristic ratio assignment(CRA) method which has the advantage to design the optimal gain to meet the referenced response and overshoot within the limit range. Inverter system is controlled by vector control and slip frequency control. At low speed region, vector control scheme is applied to control instantaneous torque and slip frequency control is performed under overmodulation region and one pulse mode. Because output voltage of converter contains harmonics ripple at twice input ac line frequency, control scheme is developed to reduce the pulsating torque current. The performance of propulsion system will be verified by simulation and prototype experimental results.

  • 본 논문은 부하에 대한 빠른 응답특성을 보이는 새로운 토폴로지를 제안하였다. PI제어기 출력이 포화될 때 windup 현상이 나타나고 그 결과로 성능이 저하된다. 따라서 전동기의 가변속 제어성능을 위해 가속시에는 개선된 Anti-windup PI제어기만을 사용하고, 감속시에는 추가로 부하의 특성을 고려하여 braking 동작을 사용하였다. 시뮬레이션 및 실험결과는 속도성능면에서 제안된 방식이 종래의 다른 제어방식에 비해 우수함을 보여 준다.

  • It is very difficult to control a motor and apply a mathematical algorism using regular micro controller. However we can embody a program using the graphic language faster and easier than using another language and conveniently compose the plate based on a PC through the DAQ board included AD and DA converter. In addition, The controllable system is made due to GUI program. I verified appropriateness PI control and determining a speed of BLDC motor which is nomally used through this program.

  • This paper proposes a robust direct adaptive control system implementation using a 80286 microprocessor-based system for controlling the speed of a DC servo motor. In this paper, assuming that the unmodeled dynamics of the plant are sufficiently small in the low-frequency range, the plant as linear time-invariant system is the second relative degree, we construct the direct adaptive control system with the algorithm considering plant unmodeled dynamics and execute the experiment, and compare the characteristics with those of PI algorithm's. It shows that an easy implementation of the built controller is due to the usage of software for the algorithm.

  • In this paper, adaptive speed sensorless vector control, sliding mode observer to be present. Adaptive sliding mode observer of the motor stator coordinate system using the voltage equations of the rotor flux components are observed. Lyapunov function of the induction motor speed is estimated by the relationship further. In order to establish such a control scheme based on the way conventional PI controller and sliding mode observer annexing characteristics of the system through simulation and experiment were compared. Analyzed and compared according to the results presented confirmed the usefulness of the system.

  • This paper presents a new speed control scheme of the spindle induction motor (IM) using fuzzy-logic control in fold weakening region. The implementation of the proposed FLC-based spindle IM are investigated and compared to those obtained from the conventional PI controller based drive system, we have confirmed good simulation and experimental results at different dynamic operating conditions such as sudden change in command speed, step change, etc.

  • This paper proposes a fuzzy logic based vector control for the gearless traction machine drive systems using a permanent-magnet synchronous motor (PMSM). The performance of the proposed Fuzzy Logic Control(FLC)-based PMSM drive are investigated and compared to those obtained from the conventional PI controll-based drive system. We have confirmed theoretically and experimentally at different dynamic operating conditions such as step change in command speed, step change in load, etc. The comparative experimental results show that the FLC is more robust and, hence, found to be a suitable replacement of the conventional Pl controller for the high-performance elevator drive system.

  • In this paper, we consider variable speed wind turbine systems containing uncertain elements. Though PI controller is generally used for pitch control, it cannot guarantee a stability and performance of the complicated wind turbine systems. A robust pitch control scheme is proposed to regulate the electric power output above the rated wind speed. The pitch controller is designed in order to guarantee uniform boundedness and uniform ultimate boundedness based on the bound values of the set where the uncertainties are laid or moves. In order to verify the proposed control scheme, we present stability analysis and simulation results using Matlab/Simulink.
