Geographic Information System (GIS) is a method of expressing objects in a space. Currently, many research and developments are being conducted to implement 3D GIS. In previous studies, 3D GIS applications have been developed using Unity 3D, which is a 3D engine with good development accessibility. However, it requires manual work to enter various formats of GIS data, making it difficult to immediately reflect GIS data that change frequently. To improve this problem, this study developed a method for automatically reading and outputting various GIS data from the existing Unity 3D application. The improved application could read Satellite Images, Aerial Photographs, Digital Elevation Models (DEM) and Shapefiles with no transformation through other commercial programs, and they could be implemented as 3D objects. This study automated the GIS data conversion which had been manually performed and as a result, the manpower, time, and resources required for 3D GIS implementation can be saved.
As Our society's environmental awareness and concern the significant increases, the importance of the legal system for environmental conservation such as the Prior Environmental Review System, Environmental Impact Assessment is growing increasingly. but, still critical issues are present such as reliability. Though there could be various causes such as the system or procedures etc. Above all, basically the environmental data problem is the critical cause. Therefore, this study was trying to improve the environmental data accuracy using the high-resolution color aerial photography, LiDAR data and Object Oriented Classification method. And in this study, classification based on coverage percentage of a particular species was attempted through the multi-resolution segmentation and multi-level classification method. The classification result was verified by comparison with 11 points local survey data. All 11 points were classified correctly. And even though the exact coverage percentage of the particular species did not be measured, It was confirmed that the species was occupied similar portion. It is important that the environmental data which can be used for the conservation value assessment could be acquired.

3D stereoscopic viewing of large scale imagery, such as aerial photography and satellite images, needs different parallaxes relative to the display scale. For example, when a viewer sees a stereoscopic image of aerial photography, the optimal parallax of its zoom-in image should be smaller than that of its zoom-out. Therefore, relative parallax adjustment according to the display scale is required. Merely adjusting the spacing between stereo images is not appropriate because the depths of the whole image are either exaggerated or reduced entirely. This paper focuses on the improving stereoscopic viewing with a single remote sensing image and a digital surface model (DSM). We present the parallax adjustment technique to maximize the 3D realistic effect and the visual comfort. For remote sensing data, DSM height value can be regarded as disparity. There are two possible kinds of methods to adjust the relative parallax with a single image performance. One is the DSM compression technique: the other is an adjustment of the distance between the original image and its stereo-mate. In our approach, we carried out a test to evaluate the optimal distance between a single remote sensing image and its stereo-mate, relative to the viewing scale. Several synthetic stereo-mates according to certain viewing scale were created using a parallel projection model and their anaglyphs were estimated visually. The occlusion of the synthetic stereo-mate was restored by the inpainting method using the fields of experts (FoE) model. With the experiments using QuickBird imagery, we could obtain stereoscopic images with optimized parallax at varied display scales.

As primary source data toward the systematic and efficient management of national land, the aerial photographs have been utilized in many different areas. However, the quality of aerial photographs does not meet the requirement of the users due to unidentified miscellaneous reasons. Aiming for the improvement of the quality of aerial photographs, we first investigated the current status of domestic rules and working procedures related to aerial photographing and film processing in great details. In addition, we investigated and analyzed those of advanced nations such as U.S.A., Canada, G.B. and so on. It was drawn from the comparison and analysis that the poor quality of domestic aerial photographs resulted from lack of the quantitative and objective standards on aerial photography specification as well as poor condition and aging problem of equipments such as aerial camera and film developing equipment. In this paper, we proposed a stepwise strategic plan which consists of the aerial photography specification and quantitative quality control standard taking into consideration the current status of domestic rules and working procedures.
Recently efforts to extract information about forests by using remote sensing techniques for efficient forest management have progressed actively. In terms of extraction of tree information using single remote sensing data, however, the accuracy of tree recognition and the quantity of extracted information is limited. The objective of this study is to carry out tree modeling in domestic environment applying the latest core technique for tree modeling using color aerial photographs and LiDAR data and to estimate the result of tree modeling. A small-scale coniferous forest was investigated in Daejeon. It was 0.77 that the $R^2$ of accuracy test of tree numbers that estimated with color aerial photography and LiDAR data. In terms of tree height, there was no difference between the estimated value and the field measurements in the case of the group accuracy test of the recently unchanged area. Moreover $R^2$ was 0.83 in the case of the individual accuracy test.
The purpose of this paper is to explore that what is the consideration when using photographs as data sources for historic costume research. So in other to achieve the study, first of all, I have to think over about the new media, photography, and then review the articles and studies how they have been used by scholars outside or our field. The considerations are the followings: 1. What kind of information can be found in historic photographs? The kind of information that may only be found in historic photographs and not in any other data source. What types of photographs are there; how the information varies by type of photograph. 2. What photographs can provide as data sources? How photographs can be used quantitative versus qualitative information; how to collect this information from one or more photographs, the criteria for the use of photographs. 3. Limitations of using historic photographs and what kind of information cannot be found in historic photographs. Be sure to discuss investigating the reliability of assigned dates;the importance of and suggestions on how could be done as part of the criterial for use of photographs. So, by asking and understanding these questions, we will use photographs better as a visual resource forward.
This research is to examine the formative of patterns and characteristics of expression in Danzhai Miao batik of Guizhou China and to reveal the cultural factors and characteristics of artistic expression inherent to it. As the research methodology, theoretical study was done by utilizing the preceding research data, literature data at home and abroad, photo data, and Internet data, and as the empirical research, field trip was made to Guizhou China and investigation and experiment of dyeing techniques, purchase of dyeing craftworks, photography shooting, and interviews were conducted. The results of this research showed that ancient Chinese batik began in Miao in the Jinhan era and the three types of Miao's traditional batik, i.e. Danzhai batik, Huangping batik, Anshun batik. Danzhai Miao batik obtained indigo blue white patterns through traditional production techniques and natural dyeing batik and represented Miao batik of Guizhou. In the expression of Danzhai Miao batik, based on the cultural backgrounds, the formative such as symbolic of patterns, tradition, primitive, reality, abstract, and decorative of dress designs and high dignity of artistry of creative batik patterns be found from the aspect of expressing magnanimous nationality.

The purpose of this study is to reveals spatial relationships between landslides and geospatial data set, map the landslide susceptibility using the relationships and verify the landslide susceptibility using the landslide occurrence data in Bosun area in 1998. Landslide locations were detected from aerial photography and field survey and topography, soil, forest, and land use data sets were constructed as a spatial database using GIS. As the landslide occurrence factors, slope, aspect, curvature and type of topography, texture, material, drainage and effective thickness of soil, type, age, diameter and density of wood and land use were used. Is extract the relationship between landslides and geospatial database, Bayesian probability methods, likelihood ratio and weight of evidence, were applied and the ratio and contrast value that is W$\^$+/- W$\^$-/ were calculated. The landslide susceptibility index was calculated by summation of the likelihood ratio and contrast value and the landslide susceptibility maps were generated using the index. As a result, it is expected that spatial relationships between landslides and geospatial database is helpful to explain the characteristics of landslide and the landslide susceptibility map is used to reduce associated hazards, and to plan land use and construction.
Land use statistics calculation is very informative data as the activity data for calculating exact carbon absorption and emission in post-2020. To effective interpretation by land use category, This study classify automatically image interpretation by land use category applying forest aerial photography (FAP) to deep learning model and calculate national unit statistics. Dataset (DS) applied deep learning is divided into training dataset (training DS) and test dataset (test DS) by extracting image of FAP based national forest resource inventory permanent sample plot location. Training DS give label to image by definition of land use category and learn and verify deep learning model. When verified deep learning model, training accuracy of model is highest at epoch 1,500 with about 89%. As a result of applying the trained deep learning model to test DS, interpretation classification accuracy of image label was about 90%. When the estimating area of classification by category using sampling method and compare to national statistics, consistency also very high, so it judged that it is enough to be used for activity data of national GHG (Greenhouse Gas) inventory report of LULUCF sector in the future.
