은행원의 Big5 성격요인이 창업의도에 미치는 영향: 디지털미디어 활용역량의 매개효과 (A Study of Influence of B anker's Big5 Personality Traits on Entrepreneurial Intention: Mediated Effect of Digital Media Utilization Capability)

  • 본 연구는 선행 연구를 바탕으로 5개의 시중은행(KB국민은행, 신한은행, 우리은행, KEB하나은행, NH농협은행)에 종사하는 은행원의 성격특성을 Big5 성격요인으로 분석하고, 그 성격 요인에 따라 창업의도와 디지털미디어 활용역량에 미치는 영향에 대하여 알아보았다. 또한 Big5 성격요인과 창업의도 사이에서 디지털미디어 활용역량의 매개효과가 있는지에 대한 분석도 진행하였다. 그 결과 첫째, Big5 성격요인 중 외향성, 개방성이 창업의도와 정(+)의 관계를, 성실성은 부(-)의 관계를 나타내었다. 둘째, Big5 성격 요인과 디지털미디어 활용역량과의 관계에서 친화성, 성실성, 개방성은 콘텐츠 활용역량에 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤으며 커뮤니케이션 활용역량은 개방성과 정(+)의 상관관계를 보였다. 셋째, 디지털미디어 활용역량인 콘텐츠 활용역량과 커뮤니케이션 활용역량이 창업의도에 미치는 영향에서는 커뮤니케이션 활용역량이 창업의도에 정(+) 영향을 미쳤다. 넷째, Big5 성격요인과 창업의도 사이에 디지털미디어 활용역량의 매개효과를 검증한 결과 커뮤니케이션 활용역량이 개방성과 창업의도를 매개하였다. 창업에 관심이 있는 은행원을 대상으로 은행원의 특성에 맞는 체계적이고 실질적인 창업 교육을 함으로써 퇴직 후 실제 창업에 도움을 주는 것이 필요하다. 또한 창업교육을 통하여 커뮤니케이션 활용역량을 강화함으로써 창업에 필요한 다양한 정보를 수집하고, 나아가 수집한 정보를 바탕으로 새로운 가치를 창출하여 실제 창업으로 이어질 수 있도록 교육을 활성화 할 필요가 있다는 결론을 도출하였다.

감정표현불능증과 우울의 관계에서 성격 5요인의 조절효과 탐색 (Exploring the Moderating Effect of Big Five Personality Traits on the Relationship between Alexithymia and Depression)

  • 기존의 정서연구들에서는 감정표현불능증이 우울의 중요한 예측변인이라는 점을 반복적으로 제시하고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 이러한 두 변인의 관계가 성격요인에 의해 조절될 수 있는지를 성격 5요인을 중심으로 살펴보았다. 312명의 대학생을 대상으로 감정표현불능증, 우울, 성격 5요인을 포함한 온라인 설문을 실시하고 조절효과를 확인해 보았다. 분석 결과, 감정표현불능증은 우울을 예측하여 기존 연구 흐름과 맥을 같이 하였다. 또한, 조절효과를 검증한 결과, 우호성, 정서적 안정성, 개방성은 감정표현불능증과 우울 간의 관계를 조절한 반면, 외향성과 성실성은 조절하지 않았다. 본 연구의 결과는 자신의 감정을 제대로 인지하지 못하고 표현하지 못하는 것이 우울을 높일 수 있는데, 이를 완화하는 데는 우호적이고 정서적으로 안정적이며 개방적인 성격이 도움이 된다는 점을 제시하였다. 본 연구는 감정표현불능증에 의해 우울이 증가하는 과정에서 어떤 구체적인 성격특질이 조절변인으로 기능하는지를 변별적으로 제시하였다는 중요한 함의를 갖고 있다.

사상 유형학의 성격심리학적 고찰 (Sasang Typology from a Personality Perspective)

  • Objectives : The objective of this study was to examine the biopsychological traits of each Sasang type from a personality theory perspective. Methods : A review of different theories of personality is provided, in addition to review of ten previous studies on the psychological characteristics of the Sasang types. Results : 1. Similarities and differences were found between Sasang typology and Western theories of personality. 2. The prevalence of Sasang type was 28:36:36 (So-Yang:Tae-Eum:So-Eum), and the majority of the study sample were males in their twenties. 3. The Yin-Yang and Large-Small axes of Sasang typology were comparable to Eysenck's Extraversion and Neuroticism dimension. So-Yang type showed high extraversion and low neuroticism, and So-Eum type exhibited low extraversion and high neuroticism. Tae-Eum type was extravert and neurotic, and highly distinctive in such physical traits as Body Mass Index and blood triglyceride concentration. 4. We make recommendations for future studies on Sasang typology within a biopsychosocial and cognitive framework. Conclusions : This study demonstrates the possibility of Sasang typology being explicable from a cross-cultural biopsychosocial theory.

여고생들의 의복행동과 성격특성과의 상관연구 (The Relationship between Clothing Behavior and Personality Traits among High School Girls)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between three aspects of clothing behavior ana three personality traits. Personality traits were measured with Chung's Personality Scale. 1 The questionnaire measuring clothing behavior consisted of items designed to assess clothing conformity, importance, and self-concept regarding clothing, This questionnaire was composed of items designed for this study in addition to items selected from questionnaires of such researchers as Sin, Lee, Chung, creekmore, Cheek, and Kim. These questionnaires were administered to 323 high school girls in Seoul. Statistical analysis consisted of correlation and t-test. The results were : 1) Dominance was positively related to self-concept regarding clothing and negatively related to clothing conformity. 2) Emotional stability was positively related to clothing modesty. 3) Sociability was positively related to self-concept regarding clothing. 4) There was no significant difference in clothing behavior between early adolescents and late adolescents.

Individual Differences in Online Privacy Concern

  • We examined the effects of socio-demographics and personality traits on online privacy concern. We investigated this relationship in general and across different Internet functions. Using a large, diverse, population-representative sample (N = 5,242), we found that females, educated, and wealthier individuals tend to be concerned with online privacy to a greater extent. Among personality traits, agreeableness and conscientiousness were generally associated with an increased probability of being concerned with online privacy. These results imply that socio-demographics and personality traits provide explanatory insights into online privacy concern.

MMPI에 나타난 한의대 졸업반 학생의 성격특성에 대한 연구(1) (Study about Personality Traits of Oriental Medical Students in Graduating Class on MMPI (1))

  • Objectives : The purpose of this study was to investigate personality traits of oriental medical students in graduating class by using the Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory (MMPI). Methods : The subjects of this study were 164 (male 108, female 56) oriental medical students in Busan. MMPI scores were analyzed about validity scales, clinical scales and personality disorder scales in aspects of whole student, attendant year, gender and ages. Results & Conclusions : First, The average scores of MMPI scales showed that oriental medical students in graduating class lay within the range of normal. There was no difference among attendant years, and averages of each year made little difference to whole student. The students belonged to 'defensive group' that were doing adaptive defense relatively Second, in comparison with gender, female students got more social adaptability and less stress than male students. In comparison with ages, group of $28{\sim}42$ years old tended to make up themselves with defensive attitude.

과학영재들의 사고양식과 5 인성 요인간의 관계 (Relationship between Thinking Styles and the Big-Five Personality Traits of scientifically-gifted students.)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 과학영재들을 대상으로 사고 양식과 5인성 요인간의 관계를 규명하는 것이다. 현재 과학영재 교육 프로그램에 참가하고 있는 265명의 중학생들을 대상으로 Sternberg의 정신자치제에 기초한 사고양식 검사와 5요인 인성검사를 동시에 실시하여 그 관계를 살펴보았다. 연구 결과는 사고 양식과 성격 구인간에 어느 정도 의미 있는 상관이 발견되었지만, 5요인 성격 검사에서 신경증과 친화성 요인, 사고 양식 검사에서 수준 차원(전체적, 지엽적)과 형식 차원(군주제, 계급제, 과두제)은 각 검사가 독특하게 측정하는 내용으로 나타났다.

  • Since personality lead to relatively consistent responses to one's own environment, consumers' distinct personality influences their buying behavior. In order to understand the relationship between consumer's personal characteristics and purchase behavior, the study investigated the effect of consumers' personality trait on the clothing selection criteria and preferred clothing image. Survey was utilized to collect the data and subjects were 333 high school students. Measures consisted of three main constructs: Consumer's extroversion and openness based on the Big-Five personality trait, clothing selection criteria, and preferred clothing image. The data were analyzed using PRELIS 2, LISREL 8.8, and SAS 9.2. The subjects was classified into three groups; Group 1 was a group of intermediate-level in openness and extroversion while Group 2 was a group of high-level in both personality traits. Group 3 was a group of high-level in openness but of low-level in extroversion. Clothing selection criteria were confirmed to have five constructs: other-directed, aesthetic, fashion & conformity-oriented, brand-oriented, and practical. In the buying situation, Group 1 prioritized fashion & conformity-oriented and brand-oriented criteria but regarded other-directed and aesthetic as less important than other groups did. Group 2 considered that all of the clothing selection criteria were important except practical. "The were six factors in the clothing image: elegance, simple, ethnic, masculine, active, and modem. The result showed a significant difference between groups in preferred clothing images. Group 2 liked most of the clothing images but group 3 did not. Group 3 preferred simple clothing image more than masculine or ethnic ones. Overall, the study concluded that the openness and extroversion of Big-Five personality traits could serve as a predictor of clothing selection criteria and preferred clothing image.

지방자치단체 공무원의 성격특성이 직무소진에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (서울특별시 강남구 공무원을 중심으로) (On the Effect of Big5 Personality Traits of Local Government Officials on Job Exhaustion (Based on government officials in Gangnam-gu, Seoul))

  • This study aims to investigate the effect of personality traits (Big5) of local government officials on job exhaustion. First, we examine the correlation between personal characteristics of individual employees and self-efficacy and the correlation between factors of civil servants' personality characteristics and job stress. Also, it was confirmed whether self-efficacy had a significant effect on job exhaustion and whether job stress had a significant effect on job exhaustion. In order to empirically study this research model, we held a survey based on the employees of Gangnam-gu, Seoul. The main results of this study are as follows : First, it was confirmed that sincerity among personality characteristics affects positive self-efficacy and neuroticism affects negative self-efficacy. However, it was confirmed that extroversion, affinity, and openness were not correlated with self-efficacy. Second, neuroticism has a positive influence on job stress and openness has a negative effect on job stress. However, there was no correlation between extroversion, affinity, sincerity and job stress. Third, the relationship between self-efficacy and job exhaustion turned out to give a negative effect. Finally, job stress was positively influenced by job exhaustion. Therefore, it is necessary to apply the study on personality characteristics (Big5), job stress, and job exhaustion, which have been studied based on service industries, to local government officials. The purpose of this study is to suggest job training for enhancing personality traits that can help reduce the job burden of local government officials.

초·중·고등학교 학생들의 창의력과 성격 간 상관 연구: 창의력 올림피아드 참가 학생을 중심으로 (A Cross-Sectional Study between Creativity and Personality of Elementary, Middle and High School Students)

  • 개인의 성격은 창의적 능력을 발휘하는 데 있어 유의미한 상관관계를 가지는 안정적인 예측 변인 중 하나이다. 하지만 성격과 창의력 간의 관계가 발달과정에서 동일한 패턴을 유지하는가에 대한 연구는 미비한 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 영어권 이외의 사람들의 성격에 따른 행동 양식을 예측/설명하는 데 더욱 효율적이라고 알려진 HEXACO 성격검사를 사용하여 성인기 이전의 발달 과정에서 개인의 고유한 성격 변인과 창의적 능력 검사와의 상관관계가 어떻게 변화하는지 살펴보고자 탐색적 연구를 진행하였다. 국제학생창의력올림피아드 한국대회에 참여한 초 중 고등학생 230명에 대해 성격검사인 HEXACO와 확산적 사고를 측정하는 대안적 용법 검사(AU) 원격 연합 검사(RAT)의 상관분석을 실시한 결과 성격 변인과 창의적 능력 검사 간의 유의미한 상관을 관찰했으며, 이러한 상관관계가 학력 수준에 따라 서로 다른 양상으로 나타나는 것을 확인하였다.
