This thesis proposed a method that connecting step motor to image send board which can acquire image to move and remote controlling via streaming image board of PDA(personal digital assistant) based on embedded Linux which is using wireless network There are three embedded Linux system to embody movable image send board. First, though the wireless network a signal of PDA is transmitted to the board which has embedded Linux and a system which is controlled by the expansion I/O port of the board. Second, it's a system streaming realtime image at a PDA which has embedded Linux. The last is a system which controls a process of image board using TCP/IP communication and image send board at PC. These are the system which can use industrial settings and homes. It can also make use of an embodiment method about travelling image robot.

Instead of existing cell phones, PDAs are observed as leading wireless Internet devices recently Numerous applications are developed by extended usage of PDAs and it should be installed appropriately according to devices. Furthermore, when battery is discharged, all data stored in RAM(Random Access Memory) becomes obsolete. So it should be recovered or reinstalled from flash memory, backup media or something. In this paper, we present an automatic application installation system(PAIS : PDA Automatic Installation System) to solve problems that users have to install applications by themselves whenever it is necessary. With this system, users feel comfortable by saving time and effort to install each applications and application development companies save cost needed to make materials illustrating installation process. Consequently PAIS may flourish wireless Internet business.

컴퓨터만을 이용하던 데이터 통신의 개념이 이제는 흠 네트워킹 개념으로 확대되었고 통신 방법도 전력선, 광케이블, 무선 등을 이용하는 방식으로 발전되고 있으며, 핸드폰을 이용한 통신에서 노트북이나 PDA를 이용한 무선 네트워크로 바뀌고 있는 실정이다. 이러한 변화는 일반사회에서는 Ad-hoc 네트워킹에 대한 연구를 발전시키고 있으며, 군사적으로는 C4I, Spider 체계등 군사적 목적의 무선 네트워킹 개념이 연구되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이런 무선 네트워킹을 AX.25 Protocol을 기반으로 한 TNC와 PDA를 이용 모바일 무전기 데이터 통신 시스템을 구현하고, 이에 대한 성능평가를 통해 Ad-hoc 통신망에서 TNC를 이용한 PDA 무전기를 제안한다.

In this paper, We propose a target tracking filter which utilizes the PDA for data association in a clutter environment and also propose an analytic solution for ideal filter covariance which accounts for all the possible events in the PDA. Monte Carlo simulation for the proposed filter in a clutter environment indicates that the proposed analytic solution forms the true error covariance of the PDA Filter.

본 논문은 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 환경 기반에서의 얼굴과 서명을 이용한 다중생체인식 시스템을 제안한다. 이를 위해서 얼굴과 서명 영상은 PDA로 획득하고, 취득한 영상은 무선랜을 통해 인증 서버로 전송하여 서버로부터 인증된 결과를 받도록하였다. 구현한 다중 생체 인식 시스템의 구성은 두 부분으로 나눌 수 있는데, 먼저 클라이언트 부문인 PDA에서는 임베디드 비주얼 C++로 작성된 사용자 인터페이스 프로그램을 통하여 사용자 등록과 인증 과정을 수행한다. 그리고, 서버 부문에서는 얼굴인식에서 우수한 성능을 보이는 PCA와 LDA 알고리즘을 사용하였고, 서명인식에서는 구간 분할 매칭으로 구간을 분할 한 후 X축과 Y축의 투영값을 Kernel PCA와 LDA 알고리즘에 적용하였다. 얼굴과 서명영상을 이용하여 제안된 알고리즘을 평가한 결과 기존의 단일 생체인식 기법에 비해 우수한 결과를 보임을 확인할 수 있었다.

This paper represents the mobile robot control system remote controlled by PDA(personal digital assistance). So far, owing to the development of internet technologies, lots of remote control methods through internet have been proposed. To control a mobile robot through internet and guide it under unknown environment, We propose a control method activated by PDA. In a proposed system, PDA acts as a user interface to communicate with notebook as a controller of the mobile robot system using TCP/IP protocol, and the notebook controls the mobile robot system. The information about the direction and velocity of the mobile robot feedbacks to the PDA and the PDA send new control method produced from the fuzzy inference engine.

기존의 예약 시스템을 보게 되면 주로 뿔을 이용한 정보 검색 및 예약을 하는 일이 많았다. 하지만 요즘 들어서는 사용자들이 웹과 더불어 모바일 디바이스 즉, 핸드폰, PDA(Personal Digital Assistant), 스마트 폰 등의 사용률이 급격하게 증가하고 사회가 급변하게 돌아가기 때문에 언제 어디서든지 접할 수 있는 모바일 디바이스를 이용한 예약 시스템이 필요로 하게 된다. 그렇기 때문에 본 논문에서는 마이크로소프트 사의 닷넷 프레임워크 중에서 모바일 닷넷 프레임워크 또는 컴팩트 프레임워크를 기반으로 한 예약 시스템을 설계 및 구현 해보았다.

본 논문에서는 TCP/IP 기반에서 JPEG 변환과 마이크로프로세서 8051을 이용 원거리에 있는 Device를 PDA로 제어하는 영상감시 시스템에 대해 연구하였다. 우선 서버는 카메라를 이용하여 영상을 획득하고 획득한 영상에 대해 JPEG Encoding을 한 후, 인터넷을 통해 PDA로 전송한다. PDA는 수신한 JPEG Data를 가지고 Decoding을 하고 사용자에게 영상을 보여주게 된다. Device는 카메라, 서보모터, 마이크로프로세서 8051로 구성되어 있으며 8051에 의해서 서보모터를 제어해서 카메라의 방향을 변경한다. 사용자는 서버에서 보내는 영상을 PDA로 수신 실시간으로 영상을 감시한다. 그리고 용 원거리에 있는 서버에 제어신호를 보내 자신이 원하는 방향으로 카메라의 위치를 제어 할 수 있는 시스템을 구현하였다.

현재 각 나라의 항만관련 부서는 자국의 항만을 국제항으로 발돋움시키기 위하여 항만보안 시스템을 구축하고 있는 실정이다. 최근 인천항에서도 감시체제가 인력경비에 의존하던 방식에서 벗어나 영상보안 시스템을 활용하는 중앙감시체제로 바뀔 전망이다. 이러한 인천항의 항만보안 시스템은 각 출입문과 인천항 보안 울타리에 CCTV 카메라를 설치하여 영상보안 시스템을 구축하여 인력과 비용을 크게 줄이며, 감시체제의 효율화를 꽤하고 있다. 따라서 본 논문은 유비쿼터스 환경에서 IP카메라를 활용한 PDA 기반의 영상보안시스템을 설계 및 구현하였다. 본 시스템은 중앙통제실을 벗어난 요원도 PDA를 통하여 어떤 장소, 어떤 시간에서도 실시간 영상모니터링이 가능하기 때문에 기존의 시스템에 비해 비상체계 운영에서 효율을 극대화 할 수 있으며, 인력과 비용에 있어서도 큰 장점을 가지고 있다.

진료와 간호가 발생하는 현장에서 직접 임상자료를 효과적으로 활용하기 위하여, 최근 모바일 컴퓨팅기술을 의료분야에 접목시키고자하는 시도가 있었다. 이러한 시도의 하나로서 PDA를 이용한 간호정보시스템이 제안되었으며, 이는 기존의 병원정보시스템과 데이터베이스를 공유하여 사용되도록 구성되었다. 본 논문에서는 간호정보시스템이 병원정보시스템의 데이터베이스 스키마 구조에 독립적으로 연동이 가능하도독 하는 스키마사상 모듈을 제안한다. 또한, 간호정보시스템을 활용할 경우, 간호 업무를 위해 PDA와 메이저를 동시에 가지고 다녀야 하는 불편함을 해소하기 위해 페이저의 기능이 추가된 PDA를 활용하여 실시간으로 간호사에게 메시지를 전송하는 모듈을 제안하고 구현한다
