Most of studies on PC method aim at the structural analysis and development of PC members, and studies on the construction management aspect are insufficient. Therefore, this study tries to investigate 'hallow PC column composite method(HPC composite method)' from the viewpoint of construction management and analyze the construction cost of the composite method. On the assumption that each comparative method was applied to the zone, the difference in construction cost between the two methods was analyzed. As a result, HPC composite method increased the initial investment cost because of its factor technology, but reduced transport cost, lifting cost, and installation cost through lightweight columns. This study analyzed only the difference in construction cost of HPC composite method so that it has the limitation in evaluating its economy. Therefore, to evaluate the economy of HPC composite method, it is considered to research more the construction cost of HPC composite method.
This paper presents the applicability of NATM Composite Lining method in domestic tunnel construction sites. Firstly, in order to produce high quality PC Panel, optimal steam curing condition is reviewed. And in preparation for fire inside the tunnel, the fire-resistance test of PC Panel is carried out. The constructability of NATM Composite Lining method and the drainage ability of light-weight foamed mortar is also evaluated through field construction test. And PC Panel combination program is developed to calculate the quantity of PC Panel efficiently. Besides, economic evaluation for NATM Composite Lining method is conducted. From this research, it is clearly found that NATM Composite Lining method is applicable to domestic tunnel construction site.

Most of studies on PC method aim at the structural analysis and development of PC members, and studies on the construction management aspect are insufficient. This study is a basic research in the construction management aspect regarding 'composite method using hollow-PC column' (HPC method), and is intended to develop assessment standards for the benefit·cost analysis of HPC method. Assessment standards for the benefit·cost analysis were composed of main-factors and sub-factors through interview with 4 experts. It was possible to classify main-factors into 4 major categories, i.e,. structural performance, construction performance, construction duration and construction cost. Sub-factors were composed of factors which were of high importance in assessing the two methods. And factors judged to be repeated or of little importance were excluded.

Green Frame is a method for Rahmen structure construction composed of composite PC members. The composite PC members of Green Frame which are based on in-situ production can reduce the construction cost and are more likely to secure quality when compared to production in factories. Previous studies developed forms for in-situ production of Green Frame composite PC members and proposed algorithms to arrange them on site. However, it requires not only their arrangement, but also calculation of an accurate production period to produce the required PC members in a limited space and supply them in a timely manner. In particular, it is necessary to clearly define the properties of detailed processes for in-situ production of PC members and to calculate the time required for respective process. To do so, this study is a basic research on calculating the time for in-situ production using a linear scheduling method.

Fiber-reinforced thermoplastic composites are applied to transport industries to lightweight of body, and applications will be expanded gradually. In this study, the impregnation and mechanical properties of continuous glass fiber (GF) reinforced polycarbonate (PC) composites were evaluated with different molecular weights of PC. The continuous GF reinforced PC composite were prepared by using GF fabric and PC film via continuous compression molding method. The melting flow index and tensile strength of PC matrix were evaluated with different molecular weights. Mechanical properties (tensile, flexural, and compressive) and pore rate of GF/PC composite were evaluated with different molecular weights of PC. The fracture behavior was analyzed to fracture surface of GF/PC composite using FE-SEM images. As these results, it was condition of representing the best mechanical property that the GF/PC composite was prepared by using PC of 20,000 g/mol as matrix.

Recently, as the concern for the development of a construction method for an environmental protection and for tall building is increasing, the use of the half precast concrete(PC) slab that has the solution of environmental problems and the advantage such as reduction of construction period is being demanded. However, there is shortcoming that the crack can occur easily while constructing, and these cracks can have a bad influence upon the structural performance of PC composite slab. However, there is little studies on the influence of these cracks on the structural performance of composite PC slab. In this study, the specimen caused the crack before pouring topping concrete in the half PC slab and the PC composite slab without the cracks were produced to investigate the structural performance of PC composite slab with crack.

Dynamic application lower mode response is of interest, however the higher modes of spatially discretized equations generally do not represent the real behavior. Some implicit algorithms, therefore, are introduced to filter out the high-frequency modes. The objective of this study is to introduce the P-method and PC ${\alpha}$-method to compare that with dissipation method and Newmark method through the stability analysis and numerical example. PC ${\alpha}$-method gives more accuracy than other methods because it based on the ${\alpha}$-method inherits the superior properties of the implicit ${\alpha}$-method. In finite element analysis, the PC ${\alpha}$-method is more useful than other methods because it is the explicit scheme and it achieve the second order accuracy and numerical damping simultaneously.
This paper presents the fundamental parameters for designing the NATM Composite Lining to be used in NATM tunnel construction. Firstly, the concept of NATM Composite Lining behaviour is introduced and reviewed in construction-performance. For the fundamental study, the optimal mix ratio tests and backfill material property tests to develop high-quality composite lining (PC panel lining) are fundamentally carried out. And the light-weight foamed mortar which is used for backfill material is developed. Full-scale loading tests to verify a performance of the NATM Composite Lining is also performed. From this research, it is clearly found that the NATM Composite Lining is very applicable method to considerably increase the stability and constructability of tunnel structure.
Multiscale hybrid composites, which consist of polymeric resins, microscale fibers and nanoscale reinforcements, have drawn significant attention in the field of advanced, high-performance materials. Despite their advantages, multiscale hybrid composites show challenges associated with nanomaterial dispersion, viscosity, interfacial bonding and load transfer, and orientation control. In this paper, carbon nanotube(CNT)/carbon fiber(CF)/polycarbonate(PC) multiscale hybrid composite were fabricated by a solution process to overcome the difficulties associated with controlling the melt viscosity of thermoplastic resins. The dependence of CNT loading was studied by varying the method to add CNTs, i.e., impregnation of CF with CNT/PC/solvent solution and impregnation of CNT-coated CF with PC/solvent solution. In addition, hybrid composites were fabricated through surfactant-aided CNT dispersion followed by vacuum filtration. The morphologies of the surfaces of hybrid composites, as analyzed by scanning electron microscopy, revealed the quality of PC impregnation depends on the processing method. Dynamic mechanical analysis was performed to evaluate their mechanical performance. It was analyzed that if the position of the value of tan ${\delta}$ is closer to the ideal line, the adhesion between polymer and carbon fiber is stronger. The effect of mechanical interlocking has a great influence on the dynamic mechanical properties of the composites with CNT-coated CF, which indicates that coating CF with CNTs is a suitable method to fabricate CNT/CF/PC hybrid composites.

In Half Precast Concrete Method, such as composite slab and composite wall, Interface between half PC plate and cast-in-place concrete is occurred. And this interface endure lastly in-plane shear which is occurred by external force. Therefore, test was executed to study in-plane shear strength of interface between half PC plate and cast-in-place concrete. In this test, Experimental parameters are finishing condition of the interface, cohesion of concrete, existence and nonexistence of re-bar truss, and angle and direction of lattice of re-bar truss. Comparing and analyzing experimental results, conclusions are obtained as follows. (1) In-plane shear strength of wide interface in composite plate is more affected by the roughness of interface than re-bar truss. And cohesion of concrete contribute to increasing in-plane shear strength. Therefore it seems that the interface should be roughen and kept clean to improve in-plane shear strength. (2) It seems that shear friction equation in ACI code can be sagely available for design of in-plane shear of composite plate.
