  • In this research, the digital signal processing PC board which employs TI's TMS320C25 is implemented. The board can perform following functions. spectrum analysis of speech and repetitive signal, digital filters emulation by convolution, signal generation of sinusoidal wave, rectangular wave etc.. In this system, communications between PC and DSP board. program down-loading to DSP board and recording and graphic of acquired and processed data in DSP board are executed by PC. Parallel interface and buffer memory are used in communications. Data acquisition and operation are carried out in DSP board. Resultant data are transmitted to PC and output through DAC.

  • In this paper, we propose a small-scale Gigabit VLBI observing system for the Korean VLBI Network (KVN) under construction. The system consists of high-speed sampler, IP-VLBI board, PC-VSI board, and software correlator. Radio signal received by receiver is sampled by high-speed sample. at 1 Gsps (Gigabit sample per second) rate with 2 bits quantization. The digitized signal is recorded in PC and the software correlator does the cross correlation. IP-VLBI board will be used for the geodesy VLBI observation, while PC-VSI board is for the astronomical VLBI observation. The PC-VSI board adopts the VSI-H (VLBI Standard Interface Hardware). The proposed system is based on commercial PCs and therefore can be built inexpensively.

  • 본 논문은 시장 사용 조건에서 발생한 PC제품의 Main board 고장품이 회수 후 검토 시 정상적으로 기능하여 나타나는 NDF(No Defect Found) 판정 상황에 대한 효과적인 검토 방안을 제시한다. NDF 시료의 고장성 진위 여부를 가리기 위해 HALT(Highly Accelerated Life Test)기술을 응용한 결과 기존의 시험 검토 방법보다 높은 재현 효과를 보았다. 결함 제품의 잠재적인 취약부위를 단시간에 효과적으로 촉진하고 들춰내는 HALT 기술은 전자 제품의 NDF성 고장을 기술적으로 접근하여 개선할 수 있는 기초를 제공하는 유용한 가속 스트레스 시험 기술임이 입증되었다.

  • In this research, an Electronic White Board Control System is developed that stores and prints the data written on the white board. This control system is constructed using an embedded single board PC, whose function is the acquisition(from CCD image sensor system), processing and storing of the data on the screen. The properties of this system are as follows: 1. The system is able to move the screen on the right and left. 2. The system is able to output the data written on the screen to a connected printer. 3.   • When testing various images outdoors with an infrared imaging system, it is necessary to save the tested images for comparison. In addition, after the test, it should be possible to easily connect to the PC and download the stored data. With the recent development of the memory system, it is possible to design an infrared image storage board for an outdoor test by using the eMMC memory that can be easily used in the form of an on board. In this paper, we describe the design of a portable image storage board that can easily store and download infrared images, and describe the GUI program that can connect to a PC and download the stored images.

  • The implementation of the voice dodec is imjplemented by using TMS320C30, which is the floating point DSP chip from Texas Instrument. QCELP (Qualcomm Code Excited Linear Prediction) is used to encode and decode the voice. The QCELP code is implemented by the TMS320C30 C-dode. The DSP board is controlled by the PC. The PC program tranfors the voice file from and to the DSP board, which is also implemented by C-code. The voice is encoded by the DSP board and the encoded data is transferred to PC to be stored as a file. To hear the voice. the voice data file is sent to DSP board and decoded to synthesize audible voice. Two flags are used by both programs to notify the status of the operation. By checking the flags, DSP and PC decides when the voice data is transferred between them.

  • Previously, in order to send information from the local controller to the display board, the hardware or software had to be handled and run through 3-phases, which include the PC-card or PC-add Board, I-F card and Sub board. This study will attempt to design a board that handles information by connecting the USB port of the PC directly to the Sub board. In addition, an MPU will be attached to the previously complex hardware circuit to design a software drive engine module, which allows for the development of new products by modifying only the software engine and not the hardware.

  • This paper describes the design and implementation of a PC(personal computer) based open architecture machine tool controller. The hardware of open architecture CNC has generally a motion control board on a PC for controlling a servo motor. But this paper describes open architecture hardware that consists of a PC, a counter board a DAC board and a DIO board only. This makes it easy to generate CNC software module in a hardware-independent way. The proposed open architecture CNC software runs on the MS-Windows NT. The paper describes a method of con-trolling servo motors using a real-time timer of MS-Windows NT and a commercial real-time operating system on the MS-Windows. NT. An open and reconfigurable software module is made up of an object and an API(application programming interface). Using the object and the API a new CNC system can be quickly configured to control dif-ferent machine tools. The proposed open architecture CNC system is applied to 4-axis lettering center.
