  • 최근 급속한 하드웨어 및 소프트웨어 기술의 발달로 인하여 PC기반의 분산제어 시스템들이 산업계에 모습을 보이고 있다. 발전소 시뮬레이터는 발전소의 모든 운영을 통제하는 중앙제어실과 똑같은 형태 및 동작특성을 갖춘 설비로 운전원들이 정상적 상황은 물론 가상적인 사고상황에서도 긴급 대응할 수 있도록 훈련에 이용되는 모의훈련 시스템이다. 본 논문에서는 제어 자동화 통신망으로 떠오르고 있는 필드버스와 함께 시뮬레이터 판넬에 설치된 수만개에 달하는 각종 입출력 신호들을 분산된 PC 시스템에서 수집하고 이 신호들을 실시간 통신기술을 이용하여 원격의 현장(시뮬레이션 컴퓨터)까지 송수신해 주는 입출력 제어 시스템의 설계에 관한 내용을 소개한다. 특히 분산된 PC 시스템 구조와 각 시스템에 탑재될 소프트웨어 모듈들 그리고 TCP/IP를 대신하여 사용하고 있는 필드버스 프로토콜 드라이버의 설계에 관한 내용을 중심으로 소개하고자 한다.

  • The hydraulic loading system real-time simulator using a PC and I/O interface board is developed to simulate the dynamic characteristics of hydraulic loading system in real time. The simulator receives the digital on-off control signals generated by the operator through the D/I channels, updates the state and output variables of the hydraulic loading system responding to the input signals and draw the moving pictuters of the lift cylinder, lift arm and loading box on the PC monitor in real time. Also, the operator can observe the displacement and pressure of cylinder, the rotatinal angle, reaction force, and safety factors of lift arm representing the operation of hydraulic loading system through the PC monitor in real time. The real-time simulator can be a very useful tool to design industrial dynamic systems and feel the goodness of the system operation since the operator can observe the moving pictures of the operating system in real time as he operates the real time simulator.

  • This paper deals with the analysis of the PC communication service system performance which will be installed as a gateway between PSTN and PSDN. Firstly, we classify the data traffic pattern into interactive, conversational, and file transfer type from the actual statistics. Secondly, we model the system structure as a closed queueing network model with multiservers and multiple customer classes and derive the analytic method to be able to measure the system performance using Mean Value Analysis. Finally, the simulation results indicate that the analytic method obtained is a good approximation method to measure the system performance of the PC communication service system as a gateway between PSTN and PSDN.

  • This paper shows the development process for measuring three-dimensional flow velocity components in a web-browser. The system is developed in an embeddable C/C++ interpreter Ch and Ch-CGI toolkit. The interface for the web-based measurement system consists of a set of web HTML files and Ch files for CGI. All of data in web browser are passed to Ch-CGI script to generate the output of new HTML file. PC-Server and PC-Client can submit measurement parameters and receive the text/graphical results each other. PC-Client can control the test equipment by using a parameters that received from PC-Server. It also can pass the test results between the web-based measurement system. In summary, the designed measurement system is evaluated, the outputs shown well on the web browser.

  • Mobile computers can process large amounts of data at high speeds, and it is feasible and easy to implement a remote monitoring system utilizing mobile computers. Because of their portability and convenience, these computers have been employed in various research areas to develop such monitoring systems. Existing monitoring system is a bit difficult to real time monitoring the scattered offshore facilities. So this paper compensate the existing system by using mobile computers such as a tablet PC-based monitoring system. Also, the scattered offshore facilities can be monitored in real-time through the tablet PC. The developed monitoring system is a fully Internet-based monitoring platform that enables one to monitor and control remote oceanic applications at any time and any place where it is possible to access the Internet. It can be applied to many oceanic applications as well as the unmanned systems and remote monitoring systems on land.

  • 컴퓨터 실습실에서 사용되고 있는 씬 클라이언트 PC는 개인별로 할당된 것이 아니라 다수의 사용자들이 공유하기 때문에 씬 클라이언트 PC를 관리하기 위한 별도의 관리시스템(Management System)이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 컴퓨터 실습실 환경에서 가상머신에 원격으로 접속된 씬 클라이언트 PC의 전원관리를 효과적으로 할 수 있는 방법을 제안한다. 사용자가 이용하는 씬 클라이언트 PC에 대해 일정시간 동안 키보드/마우스의 입력이 없으면 해당 씬 클라이언트 PC로 메시지를 전송하여 사용 여부를 확인하고 해당 사용자로부터 아무런 응답이 없을 경우 씬 클라이언트 PC를 Shutdown 한다. 이러한 관리 방법은 사용되지 않는 씬 클라이언트 PC에 대해 불필요하게 낭비되는 전력을 줄일 수 있어 효율적으로 컴퓨터 실습실을 운영할 수 있을 것으로 예상된다.

  • 인터넷의 발전과 함께 많은 성장을 하고 있는 멀티미디어 응용서비스의 중의 하나인 인터넷폰은 PSTN이 아닌 인터넷의 U(Internet protocol)을 통해 전화와 관련된 기능을 구현하는 일련의 통신서비스 기술로서 인터넷을 이용하여 음성을 전달하기 위한 기술이 요구된다. 그리고 인터넷폰 시스템은 통화하고자 하는 착발신 단말의 종류에 따라 PC-to-PC, PC-to-Phone, Phone-to-PC 인터넷폰 시스템으로 구분되어 질 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 우선 사내 전화교환기인 사설교환기(PABX) 없이 동일한 UM 상의 임의의 두 PC간의 통신과 서로 다른 MU 상의 임의의 두 PC간에 통신이 가능하도록 PC-to-PC 인터넷폰 시스템의 호제어 메시지 처리, 상태전이도 등의 교환기 및 단말기 시스템의 설계 및 구현에 관해 연구하였다. 향후 PC-to-Phone과 Phone-to-PC 인터넷폰 시스템에 관한 연구를 지속적으로 수행할 것이다.

  • Stateless computing supports a mobility of computing environment easily. It is becoming a major technology for securing personal user's information on shared computing environment. With the advance of virtualization technology and cloud computing, stateless computing is an essential part of personal computing environment connectivity (user's setting and data is stored in remote server or some storage, and it can be restored at any computing environment) In this paper, we propose uPC player that supports stateless computing execution environment on Windows. uPC player provides Windows operating system to user by using an uPC OS virtualization module. In this paper, we leverage how uPC player is designed and implemented for supporting a stateless computing execution environment. uPC player provides a desktop switch between host-system execution environment and uPC virtual execution environment. And it needs just one second for loading uPC virtual execution environment by using OS virtualization-based technique.

  • Current VOD embodiment way is embodied using PC base. However, achieved research that embody this by Embedded System that PC base is not.   • It is extremely important to minimize network access time in constructing a high-performance PC cluster system For an SCI based PC cluster it is possilbe to reduce the network access time by maintaining network cache in each cluster node, This paper presents a CC-NUMA card that utilizes network cache for SCI based PC clustering The CC-NUMA card is directly plugged into the PCI solot of each node, and contains shared memory network cache, and interconnection modules. The network cache is maintained for the shared memory on the PCI bus of cluster nodes. The coherency mechanism between the network cache and the shared memory is based on the IEEE SCI standard. A CC-NUMA prototype card is developed to evaluate the performance of the system. According to the experiments. the cluster system with the CC-NUMA card showed considerable improvements compared with an SCI based clustser without network cache.
