  • Let $Y{\subset}{\mathbb{P}}^3$ be a degree d reduced curve with only planar singularities. We prove that $h^i({\mathcal{I}}_Y(t))=0$, i = 1, 2, for all $t{\geq}d-2$. We use this result and linkage to construct some triples (d, g, s), $d>s^2$, with very large g for which there is a smooth and connected curve of degree d and genus g, $h^0({\mathcal{I}}_C(s))=1$ and describe the Hartshorne-Rao module of C.

  • Photosynthetic parameters of Scendesmus quadricauda, such as the maximum photosynthetic rate ($P_{max}$), photosynthetic efficiency (α) and the initial saturation intensity of irradiance for photosynthesis ($I_K$) were obtained using photosynthesis-irradiance (P-I) curve in a phosphorus-limited chemostat. S. quadricauda exhibitied no photoinhibition until at 200 μmol·$m^{-2}$ . $P_{max}$ (r=0.963, P=0.002) and $I_K$(r=0.904, P=0.013) showed linear relationships with growth rate. Chlorophyll-α concentration and cell dry weight decreased at higher growth rates, ut chlorophyll-α content per cell dry weight increased. The increase in photosynthetic rates at higher growth rates was due to the increase of $P_{max}$ and $I_K$ which was caused mainly by the increase in the absolute amount of chlorophyll-α rather than the increased photosynthetic efficiency of individual chlorphyll-α. The α did not show a significant relationship with growth rate (r=0.714, P=0.111). The cell quota of carbon (r=0.554, P=0.254) was not correlated with growth rate, but cell quota of nitrogen (r=0.818, P=0.047) and phosphorus (r=0.855, P=0.030) exhibited linear correlations with growth rate.

유량-부하량관계식을 이용한 지석천 유역의 부하지속곡선 적용 및 유황별 유달율 산정 (Application of Load Duration Curve and Estimation of Delivery Ratio by Flow Durations Using Discharge-Load Rating Curve at Jiseok Stream Watershed)

  • This study has been carried out to clarify the characteristics of discharge and pollutant loading according to flow conditions at jiseok stream watershed (JSW). A flow rate and pollutant load in the study watershed were estimated by equation of stage-discharge and discharge-loads rating curve. By using the methods above, I've evaluated the water quality (WQ) of the JSW if it is satisfied with the standard target. I've collected the data of BOD and T-P from the JSW every 8 days for the duration of 12 months. And then, I've schematized the data upon the load duration curve and the results showed me that the WQ of JSW was satisfied with the standard target. I've also collected the same data every each day for the duration of 12 months from JSW and have schematized the data again. And the results showed that it also was satisfied with the standard target. To be concluded, I've determined that point pollution sources of JSW gives more significant impacts to the WQ than non-point pollution sources of JSW and hence, as time goes, point pollution sources will keep depriciating the WQ of JSW. Therefore, further efforts will be required to JSW to maintain the WQ.

Bailey-Paar 최적확장체 연산의 개선 (Improvement on Bailey-Paar's Optimal Extension Field Arithmetic)

  • 최적확장체(Optimal Extension Field: OEF)는 유한체의 일종으로서, 타원곡선 암호시스템의 소프트웨어 구현에 있어 매우 유용하다. Bailey 및 Paar는 $P^i$ 거듭제곱 연산을 비롯하여 다수의 효율적인 OEF 연산 알고리즘을 제안하였으며, 또한 암호 응용에 적합한 OEF를 생성하기 위한 효과적인 알고리즘을 제안하였다. 본 논문에서는 Bailey-Paar의 $P^i$ 거듭제곱 알고리즘이 적용되지 않는 반례를 제시하며, 또한 그들의 OEF 생성 알고리즘은 실제로 OEF가 아닌 유한체를 OEF로 출력하는 오류가 있음을 보인다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제들을 해결한 개선된 알고리즘들을 제시하고, OEF의 개수에 관한 수정된 통계치를 제시한다.

  • In the present paper, we give some characterization of the L2 maximal estimate for the operator Pta,γf(Γ(x, t)) along curve with complex time, which is defined by $$P^t_{a,{\gamma}}f({\Gamma}(x,t))={\displaystyle\smashmargin{2}{\int\nolimits_{\mathbb{R}}}}\;e^{i{\Gamma}(x,t){\xi}}e^{it{\mid}{\xi}{\mid}^a}e^{-t^{\gamma}{\mid}{\xi}{\mid}^a}{\hat{f}}({\xi})d{\xi}$$, where t, γ > 0 and a ≥ 2, curve Γ is a function such that Γ : ℝ×[0, 1] → ℝ, and satisfies Hölder's condition of order σ and bilipschitz conditions. The authors extend the results of the Schrödinger type with complex time of Bailey [1] and Cho, Lee and Vargas [3] to Schrödinger operators along the curves.

  • 순수한 SrB $i_2$T $a_2$$O_{9}$ 세라믹스와 도너와 억셉터가 치환된 S $r_{0.99}$B $i_2$(T $a_{0.99}$ $W_{0.01}$)$_2$$O_{9}$ 와 SrB $i_2$(T $a_{0.99}$ $Ti_{0.01}$)$_2$ $O_{8.99}$ 세라믹스를 제조하고 미세구조, 강유전 P-E 이력특성, 상전이 온도를 조사하였다. 입자크기는 SrB $i_2$T $a_2$$O_{9}$ 세라믹스의 강유전 이력곡선에는 영향을 주지 않았다. 도너를 치환한 S $r_{0.99}$B $i_2$(T $a_{0.99}$ $W_{0.01}$)$_2$$O_{9}$ 세라믹스는 순수한 SrB $i_2$T $a_2$$O_{9}$ 세라믹스보다 잔류 분극이 크고 더욱 포화된 강유전 P-E 이력곡선을 보였으며, 억셉터가 치환된 SrB $i_2$(T $a_{0.99}$ $Ti_{0.01}$)$_2$ $O_{8.99}$ 세라믹스는 잔류분극이 크게 감소하여 가운데가 잘록한 모양을 보였다. 도너가 치환된 S $r_{0.99}$B $i_2$(T $a_{0.99}$ $W_{0.01}$)$_2$$O_{9}$ 세라믹스의 강유전 분극이 순수한 SrB $i_2$T $a_2$$O_{9}$ 세라믹스보다 더 큰 것은 Sr 공공의 생성에 의하여 분역벽 이동이 용이해졌기 때문이다.동이 용이해졌기 때문이다.동이 용이해졌기 때문이다.동이 용이해졌기 때문이다.

척추 측만증 환자에서의 척추 만곡과 경추 및 요추 전만각, Ferguson각의 상관관계에 대한 고찰 (A Study on the Relationship Scoliotic Curve and Cervical Lordosis, Lumar Lordosis and Ferguson Angle in Spinal Scoliosis Patient)

  • Objectives : This study is designed to find out the relationship of scoliotic curve, cervical lordosis, lumbar lordosis and Ferguson's angle. Method : The study was composed of 46 scoliosis patients who had single curvature(Group I) on their lumbar spine(Group I-A) or thoracic spine(Group I-B) and 38 patients who had double curvature(Group II) on their lumbar and thoracic spine. The patients were evaluated with X-ray findings of full spine AP and Lateral views and statistically analyzed. Results : 1. Group II showed a significant increase in scoliotic curve angle as compared with Group I(P<0.05). 2. Scoliotic curve has a negative relationship with cervical lordosis in group II. Conclusion : 1. The patients who has double curvature of spine had higher scoliotic curve angle compared with who has single curvature. 2. The Scoliotic curve and cervical lordosis was statistically concerned on patients who has double curvature of spine.

위배출 신티그래피에서 수학적 모델을 이용한 지연영상 시간의 단축 (Reducing the Scan Time in Gastric Emptying Scintigraphy by Using Mathematical Models)

  • 목적 : 위배출신티그래피는 일반적으로 15분 간격으로 2시간 동안 촬영된다. 본 연구는 수학적 함수를 이용하여 90분까지 얻은 위잔류율 측정치를 가지고 비선형 곡선을 구한 후, 120분의 위잔류율을 예측함으로써 90분 이후의 지연영상 촬영시간을 절약할 수 있는지에 대하여 알아보았다. 대상 및 방법 : 환자들은 74 MBq (2 mCi) Tc-99m DTPA가 들어 있는 계란찜을 섭취한 직후 촬영을 시행하였다. 환자들을 반위배출시간에 따라 두 군으로 나누어 후향적으로 연구하였다. Group I은 반위배출시간이 90분 이하($T_{1/2}\;{\leq}90\;min$)인 51명(남자 21명, 여자: 30명, 평균나이: $44.6{\pm}13.5$세)이었고, Group II는 90분 초과 120분 이하($90\;min)인 45명(남자: 15, 여자:30, 평균나이 $45.6{\pm}15.9$)이었다. 0, 15, 30, 45, 60, 75, 90분에서의 위잔류율을 측정하여 비선형 곡선인 단순지수함수, power exponential function, modified power exponential function을 구하였고, 또한 50, 75, 90분의 측정치로 후기 단순지수함수를 구하였다($MATLAB^{\circledR}$ 5.3). 얻어진 함수식을 통해 120분에서의 위잔류율 예측치를 구한 후, 120분 측정치와의 상관관계를 알아보았다. ($MedCalc^{\circledR}$ 6.0). 결과: 120분 위잔류율의 측정치와 예측치의 상관계수(r)는 각각의 함수식에 따라 다음과 같다; 단순지수함수 (Group I: 0.8858, Group II: 0.5982, p<0.0001), power exponential function (Group I: 0.8755, Group II: 0.6008, p<0.0001), modified power exponential function (Group I: 0.8892, Group II: 0.5882, p<0.0001), 후기 단순지수함수 (Group I:0.9085, Group II:0.6832, p<0.0001). Group I에서만 함수식 모두에서 측정치와 예측치 간에 통계학적으로 의미있게 강한 상관관계를 보였다. 각 상관계수 간에 유의한 차이는 없었으나 후기지수함수식이 다른 함수식에 비하여 변수(parameter)와 입력될 측정치의 개수가 적어 예측치를 구하기가 간편하였다. 결론: 반위배출 시간이 90분 이하인 경우에 120분에서의 위잔류율을 예측할 수 있어 90분 이후의 촬영시간을 절약할 수 있다. 또한, 후기지수함수식이 다른 함수식에 비하여 예측치를 구하기가 간편하므로 임상적으로 더 유용하다.

Inelastic two-degree-of-freedom model for roof frame under airblast loading

  • When a roof frame is subjected to the airblast loading, the conventional way to analyze the damage of the frame or design the frame is to use single degree of freedom (SDOF) model. Although a roof frame consists of beams and girders, a typical SDOF analysis can be conducted only separately for each component. Thus, the rigid body motion of beams by deflections of supporting girders can not be easily considered. Neglecting the beam-girder interaction in the SDOF analysis may cause serious inaccuracies in the response values in both Pressure-Impulse curve (P-I) and Charge Weight-Standoff Diagrams (CWSD). In this paper, an inelastic two degrees of freedom (TDOF) model is developed, based on force equilibrium equations, to consider beam-girder interaction, and to assess if the modified SDOF analysis can be a reasonable design approach.

  • Various Models of the moisture content-capillary pressure hysteresie based on the approach of domain concept in porous media are compared with each other, Model III-1(Mualem, 1984) is superio to others as expected. A new model based on Model III-1 is proposed of which asuumption is the linearization of P$$($\theta$) accounting for the pore blockage effect against air-entry. The feature of this model is that only one branch of boundary curve is needed to calibrate it, which is the advantage to Model III-1. The prediction of boundary drying curve from boundary wetting curve using this model is better than that using Model I-1, II-1 compared with the experimental data. This model is to simulate scanning curves, while Model I-1, II-1 is not.
