Forward형 고압펄스 전원장치를 적용한 오존발생 시스템 의 개발 (Development of Ozone Generating System Applying Forward Type High Voltage Pulse Power Supply)

  • This paper presents a forward type high voltage pulse power supply for high voltage small current, which can be designed as a simple circuit configuration and managed easily using Power-MOSFET in the view of commercialization. According to the switching frequency, coupling factor(k) and duty ratio(D), the Principle of basic operation and the characteristics of the proposed pulse power supply are estimated. Simulation results have demonstrated the feasibility of the proposed pulse power supply. Also experimental results are presented to verify theoretical discussion with a lamp type ozonizer as a load. For studying the application at the part of environment of water, When ozonizer gas reacts with a colon bacillus, the sterilization characteristics of a colon bacillus according to the ozone concentration and response time have been investigated. This proposed pulse power supply will be able to be practically used as a pulse power supply in various environment improvement facilities like sterilization of colon bacillus, deodorization, and Nox gas elimination.

UV/Ozone 복합 살균기의 살균력 개선 연구 (Improvement of a UV/Ozone Duplex Sterilizer)

  • We investigated sterilization characteristics of UV lights by counting the number of bacteria units with varying sterilization time and distance from the light source. We focused on an idea that UV light of 184.9 nm could generate ozone and developed a new sterilizer. The UV-ozone duplex system sterilized bacteria faster than UV-only sterilizers. To reduce shadowing effects by target objects, we used UV transparent quartz plate as a support and put a reflecting plate. Distribution of UV irradiation intensity and ozone supply were analyzed by a 3D model and measured by a semiconductor UV sensor. But even with an Al reflector, multi-layered pens could not be treated properly from UV irradiation only. Ozone generating lamp could treat more uniformly multi-layered pens with a stirring fan by supplying ozone to shadowed surfaces.

오존과 광촉매를 이용한 Geosmin 제거 및 부산물 생성에 관한 연구 (A Study on removal of Geosmin by Ozonation and Photocatalysis and Generation of by-products)

  • This study was carried out comparing with ozone oxidation and photocatalytic degradation for removal of geosmin. In the change of pH, Ozonation, UV-Germicidal lamp and Halogen lamp irradiation and Halogen $lamp/TiO_2$ Powder was very slowly changing, but UV-Germicidal $lamp/TiO_2$ Powder was rapidly changed from 7.0 to 7.7 until 300min of irradiation time, and varied a little after. Geosmin degradation ratio was as following, UV-Germicidal $lamp/TiO_2$ $Powder(200mg/L){\geq}O_3$ > UV-Germicidal $lamp/TiO_2$ $Pw(100mg/L)$ > UV-Germicidal lamp > Halogen lamp. The result of investigation of generated by-products were 3-Heptanone, two sort of aldehydes and three sort of alcohols by ozonation. But It was not generated by photocatalytic degradation.

  • Recently, our country's piggery has been becoming large-sized and crowded gradually in scale. Thus, the environment in a piggery is getting worse, which leads to a drop in livestock's immunoactivity. Therefore, livestocks are exposured to many diseases(stress, hypertension, stomach ulcer etc.). In this paper, our intention is to design a low cost ozone-generating device with high capacity to maintain a reasonable ozone level, that is necessary for cleaning the environment in a piggery, but is not too high to cause any harmful influence to human beings and livestock. The results showed that the UV-lamp tube with baffle has an increase of 25% in ozone generation efficiency compared to without baffle and the short retention time of air or high inlet air rate shows high level of ozone.

  • 본 연구는 한약재 살균 및 장기간의 저장에 따른 한약재 변질 원인을 제거하고, 고품질 유지를 위한 새로운 저장 장치를 개발하고자 하는 것이다. 본 연구에서는 '살균선 및 오존선을 방사하는 저압 자외선 램프'(이하, OZ-Lamp)의 방사 특징을 이용한 약재 보관장치를 제작하여, 오존발생 및 전기적 특성 연구 및 오존처리 보관 유무에 따른 약재의 특성 평가를 병행 연구하였다.

  • Global Environment Laboratory at Yonsei University in Seoul ($37.57^{\circ}N$, $126.95^{\circ}E$) has carried out the ozone layer monitoring program in the framework of the Global Ozone Observing System of the World Meteorlogical Organization (WMO/GAW/GO3OS Station No. 252) since May of 1984. The daily measurements of total ozone and the vertical distribution of ozone amount have been made with the Dobson Spectrophotometer (No.124) on the roof of the Science Building on Yonsei campus. From 2004 through 2006, major parts of the manual operations are automated in measuring total ozone amount and vertical ozone profile through Umkehr method, and calibrating instrument by standard lamp tests with new hardware and software including step motor, rotary encoder, controller, and visual display. This system takes full advantage of Windows interface and information technology to realize adaptability to the latest Windows PC and flexible data processing system. This automatic system also utilizes card slot of desktop personal computer to control various types of boards in the driving unit for operating Dobson spectrophotometer and testing devices. Thus, by automating most of the manual work both in instrument operation and in data processing, subjective human errors and individual differences are eliminated. It is therefore found that the ozone data quality has been distinctly upgraded after automation of the Dobson instrument.

  • The power semiconductor switching devices(PSSD) continuously developed, Power Electronic Technology using PSSD is gradually extended. The high frequency inverter to generate the large power high frequency subject to power electronic technology pursuit various application. Since ozone and ultraviolet applications have tendency to spread widely in industry, the development of efficient and low-cost power supply for such systems is a task of great impotency. This paper introduces high-frequency inverter type mode power supply designed for ozone generation tube and ultraviolet generation excimer lamp and considerations on this inverter and pulse density modulation control strategy applied in it.

주요 한약재의 오존처리저장 특성 (Ozone Processing Storage Characteristic of Main Herb Medicines)

  • 최근 한약재의 저장 중 품질 유지를 위한 다양한 방안이 검토되고 있으며, 그 방안의 하나로 한약재의 유해 세균 및 잔존 농약을 분해, 처리하여 저장하는 방법을 연구하였다. 오존발생기에 관한 선행 연구를 통해 오존이 박테리아 및 비루스에 대한 살균효과가 우수함을 확인하고, 오존을 이용하여 한약재 살균처리 및 저장(이하 OPS)에 적용하는 방법을 연구하였다 본 연구에서는 현재 시중에 많이 유통되어 사용되고 있는 4종류의 약재를 선정하여 한약재 특성 평가를 실시하였다. 즉 오존 램프를 이용하여 한약재 살균 특성을 조사하였고, 장기간 오존 저장 후 한약재의 품질 및 고유 성분이 유지되는지를 조사하기 위하여 한약재의 일반성분 및 생리활성물질의 정량분석 평가를 하였다.
