A study on an algorithm based on sensitivity method for alleviating overloads in power networks (송전선로 과부하를 해소하기 위한 민감도에 근거한 알고리즘 연구)

  • In this paper, a new algorithm based on sensitivity method for alleviating overloads in power networks is presented to find the switching branches effectively. Preferentially the switching of shunt reactive devices such as shunt reactor and shunt capacitors is performed. If overloads are not eliminated, the ranking of switching branches is calculated according to the algorithm based on sensitivity method and the switching of the ranked branches is performed in the order of ranking until overloads are eliminated. In order to show the effects of this algorithm, it is applied to a small scale power system of IEEE 39-bus test system.

  • This paper proposes an effective smart plug system capable of monitoring power, cutting off standby power and overload current. The key design concept is focused on measurement accuracy, self power consumption and controlling via smart phone application. The system is composed of several plugs and a hub, and adopts a star-topology-styled TDMA wireless protocol for communication between plug and hub. The test result shows that the implemented smart plug system meets K10026 regulation and is worth in electrical safety, energy saving, easy living.

  • This paper presents the development of 15G(Integrate Starter Generator). The ISG is the crank shaft mount type and it is installed at tile flywheel. The wide operating range of ISG requires large constant power speed ratio, good overload performance and high efficiency. High saliency ratio permanent magnet motor is developed for the ISG applications and 500A MOSFET inverter is designed to derive the ISG.   • In mixed model assembly lines, products are assembled seqeuntially that have different combination of options specified by customers. In just in time (JIT) environment, production smoothing becomes an important issue for sub-lines which supply the necessary parts to each workstation of the assembly line. Another important issue is to avoid line stopping caused by work overload in workstations. To find a sequence which minimizes the costs associated with line stoppage and the option parts inventory level, a nonlinear mixed integer programming is formulated. Recognizing the limit of the Branch and Bound technique in large sized problems, a heuristic solution procedure is proposed. The performance of the heuristic is compared with the Branch and Bound technique through randomly generated test problems. The computational results indicate that on the average the heuristic solutions deviate approximately 3.6% from the optimal solutions.

  • As a lot of information and media are given to users in Internet space nowadays, users feel disoriented or "lost in space" intensively. So it is suggested that we have the system to reduce information overload and to propose effective and efficient information. In this study we present a visualizing technique which uses fisheye views on data adjacency to combine global context and local details for presentation of many results in limited space. Data Adjacency on graph theory is applied to set up degree of interest which is main focus in fisheye views. Graph theory is useful to solve the problem resulted from various combinational optimization, especially it has advantages to analyze issues in information space like Internet. To test the usability of the proposed visualization technique, we compared the effectiveness of different visualization techniques. Results show that our method is evaluated with respect to less time and high satisfaction for a task accomplishment.

  • 과적차량은 도로 및 교량 구조물과 도로 횡단 시설물 등에 손상요인으로 작용하며 기존의 단속 시스템은 축조작 및 인력부족등 많은 문제점을 내포하고 있어서 이에 대한 대처방안이 요구되고 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 주행중인 과적차량의 지능형 임베디드 단속 시스템 개발을 위하여 유전자 알고리즘 기법을 적용, 도로자체를 저울로 하여 주행중인 차량의 하중 및 주행정보를 분석을 연구하였으며 이를 통하여 효율적인 과적 단속이 이루어 질 수 있다고 판단된다. 또한 USN구성을 위한 임베디드 센서와 함께 Internal/External Network의 무선화 시스템을 통한 사용자 중심의 시스템을 구축하는 것이 최종 목적이므로 향후 WCDMA/HSDPA를 이용한 External Network의 구성과 실제 과적 단속 적용을 위하여 Test Bed를 통한 실험이 실시되어야 할 것이다.

  • Effects of strain hardening exponents on the behavior of fatigue crack propagation are experimentally investigated. The retardation effect of fatigue crack propagation after single overloading is investigated in relation to strain hardening exponent and crack closure. A relationship between crack opening ratio and strain hardening exponents is inspected through an examination of the crack closure behavior. An empirical equation relating retardation effect of fatigue crack propagation after single overloading, percent peak load and strain hardening exponent of materials is proposed.

  • The retardation effect of fatigue crack propagation after cyclic overloading seems to be affected by strain hardening exponent. Namely, for the material with high values of n, the delay effect is found to be severe. We proposed a modified crack retardation equation which may apply the retardation of fatigue crack growth after a cyclic overloading, as (da/dN)'$_{cyc}$=($\mu$n+λ)B $\Delta$ $K^{q}$ /[(1- $R_{eff}$) $K_{cf}$$\Delta$K]. where, $R_{eff}$ is effective stress ratio [=( $K_{min}$-K, os)/( $K_{max}$$K_{res}$)] The constants $\mu$=-0.5 and λ=0.6, and the values are found to be identical for materials such as aluminum (A 1060), steel (SS 34), brass ( $B_{s}$ SIB) and stainless steel (SUS 304) used in this investigation.   • This paper presents a new algorithm for the countermeasure to alleviate the line overloads in a power system. This method utilizes network sensitivity factors which are establised from DC load flow solutions. The line outage distribution factors(LODF) are formulated using changes in network power generations to simulate the outaged line from the network. The proposed algorithm has been validated in tests on a 6-bus test system.

  • The purposes of this research are to modelize test system of SM TESTING by ARENA, software, input several items of specimen's testing process, resources of system and transfer loop, etc, give a hypothesis and then, obtain results reducing the efficiency of the whole system finally by overload of specific facilities in the testing system through the simulation so as to obtain several materials such as specimen and testing facility, transfer loop, etc. by simple and various forms without any necessity of numerical modelization. It will add facilities of over load and reduce facilities with low operation rate, so increase the efficiency of the system.
