The purpose of this study is to investigate nonlinear behavior and estimate ultimate resistance of the wall structure against seismic loading. Experimental data for RC coupling elements are used for specifying the strength deterioration and stiffness degradation factor of hysteretic model. Modified coupling element models are used in the push over analysis and time history analysis. In the time history analysis, three earthquake waves are used in the analysis and their peak ground accelerations are changed to be 0.2g. The conclusions of this study are as follows : (1) In the push over analysis, yielding of coupling elements occurred at lower story with small story drift ratio as 0.3%. (2) In the time history analysis, the story drift ratio is sufficient for the requirement of Korean Code, But coupling elements at most stories of the buildings occurred yielding. i. e. the earthquake resistant capacity of shear wall structures is not sufficient at 0.2g.

본 논문에서는 perVC-Queuing 기반의 버퍼관리알고리즘을 제안한다. 제안된 알고리즘은 서비스 율 측정과 동적 VC 임계치를 사용하여 GFR VC에 네트워크 자원을 공정하게 분배하고 모든 VC가 요구하는 MCR을 보장한다. 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션결과 제안된 알고리즘이 GFR 서비스 클래스가 요구하는 QoS를 보장하고 TCP의 성능을 향상하였다.

This paper presents a new approach to the design of neural control system using digital signal processors in order to improve the precision and robustness. Robotic manipulators have bevome increasingly important in the field of flexible automation. High speed and high-precision trajectory tracking arre indispensable capabilities for their versatile application. the need to meet demanding control requirement in increasingly complex dynamical control systems under sygnificant uncertainties leads toward design of implementing real time neural control to provide an enhanced motion control for robotic manipulators. In this control scheme the ntworks intrduced are neural nets with dynamic neurouns whose dynamics are distributed over all the network nodes. The nets are trained by the distributed dynamic are distributed over all the network nodes. The nets are trained by the distributed dynamic back propagation algorithm. The proposed neural network control scheme is simple in structure fast in computation and suitable for implementation of real-time control, Performance of the neural controller is illustrated by simulation and experimental results for a SCAEA robot.

Cryptography provides an effective solution to secure the communication over public networks. The communication over public networks that includes electronic commerce, business and military services, necessitates the requirement of simple and robust encryption techniques. In this paper, a novel image encryption method which employs calligraphy based hybrid scan and random number is presented. The original image is scrambled by pixel position permutation with calligraphy based diagonal and novel calligraphy based scan patterns. The cipher image is obtained by XORing the scrambled image with random numbers. The suggested method resists statistical, differential, entropy, and noise attacks which have been demonstrated with a set of standard images.

The purpose of study is a development of the high reliance electric driven water-pump that fuction is forcing the movement of water using basic design, proto sample and test at the cooling system. It was important to supply a coolant quickly and accurately for the requirement of flow rate at the system when we carried out the designs for BLDC Motor, Controller and water pump(Impeller, Volute Casing, Sealing Device) First, we attained ours purpose that the target efficiency for water pump was over 40% and then we are doing the optimum design for Brushless Motor and Controller that its target is over 55% of efficiency.

In this paper, we propose methods for designing the Virtual Private Network (VPN) which guarantees a strict Quality of Service (QoS) over A TM networks. The required Quality of Service is a very strict Cell Loss Probability, and it is guaranteed by pro riding equivalent bandwidth which is computed so that the provided bandwidth is sufficient to guarantee that requirement. We consider two network architectures for constructing VPM, the customer pipe scheme and the Hose scheme, and we propose a method to compute the amount of the required bandwidth for the two schemes. Finally, we investigate the implication of the scheme via numerical experiments.

Crashworthiness design concept in the helicopter development is still under evolutionary stage. Survivability in the event of a crash was remarkably improved and this fact can be recognized by the analysis results on the AH-64 Apache and UH-60 Black Hawk crash accidents. Those two models are the first ones in which the crashworthiness design concept was applied with a full-scale requirement. Here we need to notice that under-design of the system results in unexpected injuries and deaths while over-design of the crashworthy elements result in unnecessary weight and costs. If landing gear system would be verified to have enough energy absorption capability in the specified vertical velocity interval, then design requirements of the airframe, fuel system and seats could be modified positively. In this paper, the right and systematic crashworthiness design concept is reviewed on the assumption that design requirements of some crashworthy elements could be partially tailored.

Railroad a field of basic industries in Korea had developed as representative transportation means in the interior. But since the 1970s, its transport requirement decrease had influenced in reduced earning. Thus railroad try to find a various subsidiary earning creations. Among the various subsidiary earning creations, a plan of privately financed station buildings is constructing and using. For the mean time the privately financed station have been constructed by in a narrow sensible development. But now like a Yongsan areas surrounding stations development, comprehensive development think over surrounding stations in a wide sensible development. Yeongdeungpo Station the traffic center of the south part in Seoul had been constructed by privately financed station of Lotte Shopping Co. after 1987. Yeongdeungpo Station constructed station building is a successful example for profitable. The successful instance of Yeongdeungpo privately financed station investigates and devises comprehensive development as thinking over surrounding stations for more and more benefits.

Voice over Internet Protocol(VoIP) is expected to be a major application on the Internet in the future This paper propose an approach to VoIP that uses Differentiated Service and Multi-protocol Label Switching(MPLS) to provide quantitative QoS guarantees over an IP network. An algorithm that determines QoS-constrained routes is proposed and a framework that uses such an algorithm for traffic engineering is outlined. the key component of this framework is a Centralize Resource Manager(CRM) responsible for monitoring and managing resources within the network and making all decisions to route／reroute traffic according to QoS requirement

Inspired by the growth of the Internet, electronic commerce(EC) has grown rapidly over the last few years and has become a major Internet application domain. EC encompasses various profit-oriented activities such as purchase of goods and services over the network, banking, and business-to-business trade. The purpose of this research is to develop an electronic commerce merchant server for the small and medium size business. The proposed solution is designed to meet a cheap, simple, extensible, and interoperable requirement. Also, our solution supports one-to-one marketing concept by using matching technology. We expect that our solution makes the small and medium size EC market more easily.
