The Albuginales (Oomycetes) consist of obligate biotrophic pathogens, none of which is culturable on artificial media. This group causes white blister rust disease in diverse angiosperm plants, including many economically important crops such as sunflower, horseradish, rape, radish, spinach, and wasabi. Recent advances in molecular phylogenetic tools and findings of new morphological characters have advanced our knowledge on their diversity, evolution, and systematics. This review introduces the white blister rusts and discusses recent innovations resulting from studies on Albuginales.

The genus Hypocrea, a member of the Hypocreales, has yellow to pale yellow-ochre, perithecial stromata and angular to cuboid ascospores. The isolate of Hypocrea microrufa collected on decayed tropical wood at Malaysia is compared with H. rufa and H. microsplendens. This isolation of H. microrufa will be the first record from tropical region and the first description with scanning electron microscopy. The ornamentation of ascospores used one of main taxonomic keys for identification.

Chemical retarders applied to the form surface make It possible to remove surface mortar and expose the aggregate after forms have been removed. Variation in finish may also be achieved by grinding, chiseling, hammering, and sandblasting after the concrete has set. Precast panels as forms or liners may provide the desired surface finish; sometimes a combination several of these techniques is used.

Ralph Rucci, the first American designer who presented official collections at Paris Couture since Mainbocher, is known for his innovative dressmaking techniques and sculptural forms. Accompanied by literature survey, this study examines the aesthetics of Ralph Rucci's designs by content analysis of his works, Rucci's designs since his debut collection of 1994 until he left the Chado Ralph Rucci label in 2014 and his returning collection under the new label, RR331, in 2016. Ralph Rucci developed his creative designs by the following strategies: First, he reinvents the couture tradition of Balenciaga and $Gr{\grave{e}}s$ into progressive and functional American couture in that he gives consideration to a wearer's movements and comforts. Second, Rucci constructs architectural volume based on human anatomy and architectonic strategies, with the attention to three-dimensional quality of the space built between the body and a garment. Third, he conducts engineered construction summarized by his original 'suspension' techniques, which function as both ornamentation and construction.

Comparative morphology among species of the genus Calostoma, including C. cinnabarina, C. ravenelii, and C. japonicum, was investigated by scanning electron microscopy and atomic force microscopy. Spore morphology of C. cinnabarina and C. ravenelii showed no dramatic differences by light microcopy and scanning electron microscopy. To differentiate these species, atomic force microscopy was employed. Quantitative analysis of the surface roughness of basidiospores revealed subtle differences in height fluctuation at the nanometer scale between the species of Calostoma. Basidiospores of C. cinnabarina had a relatively rougher surface than those of C. ravenelii at $2.0{\times}2.0\;{\mu}m^2$ scan areas.

Slashes, deprived from the Crusaders' military uniforms, take their places among the fashion terms in modern fashion, and they are represented with some techniques such as fraying fabrics or making holes. Slashes are also used in various ways across all the fashion areas including clothing to accessaries. Slashes, which were once used to represent a solid body and to make a body move suitably, are used not only to express the formative of clothing but also to allow wearing sensations and functionality to wearers depending on their daily lives and the movements of their activities in modern fashion design. Optical illusions of fashion, image variabilities, functionality and ornamentation, and design principles, which were once represented with materials, colors, and details mainly used in fashion designs, are represented using slashes in modern fashion.

Canthocamptus morimotoi Miura, a cave-dwelling harpacticoid species belonging to C. mirabilis species group, is fully redescribed and illustrated on the basis of the material newly collected from the type locality, Simpigul Cave, South Korea. C. morimotoi is the only genuine subterranean species in the C, mirabilis group, and claimed to be a relict species restricted to its type locality. The sexually isomorphic ornamentation of the outer terminal seta on the distal exopodal segment of male leg 4 and the well-developed spines on the disteromedial corner of anal somite are the most significant features differentiating this species from ther members of the mirabilis-group.

Deutsche Werkbund, founded in 1907 and closed by Nazis in 1934, is affected on German economic growth and industry The purpose of the association was the improvement of industrial materials as emphasizing the close relationship between artists and industrialists. The group is developed within the contrast idea of Hermann Muthesius who wanted the standardization of industries and of Henry van der Velde who wanted the freedom of artistic expression based on individualism. The furniture of DWB in terms of function exemplifies remarkable structures compare to furniture existed eyer before. The use of such functional elements as shelves, casters and drawers in rectangular forms is notable. And the form make it possible to utilize in small spaces. Thus, the furniture of DWB represents such standards in industrial design as simple, and geometric forms without any ornamentation.
