The purpose of this study was to investigate the clinical application of oriental medical therapy and Art-therapy to the panic disorder patient. We treated the patient with OMT(oriental medical therapy) and Art-Therapy. Art-Therapy helped the patient to solve the problems related with her family and OMT helped to improve the patient's symptoms. The application of Art-Terapy and OMT has positive effects on the patient with panic attack.

1. Objectives The purpose of this study was to examine the regional cerebral blood-flow(r-CBF) difference between OMT(Oriental Music Therapy) group and control group using brain SPECT, to evaluate the effect of OMT in ischemic stroke patients Classified by Sasang Constitutional. 2. Methods We selected 10 ischemic storke patients, classified groups into OMT group or control group. r-CBF of two groups were examined by brain SPECT. in all group we applied SCM(Sasang constitutional medicine)treatment for 4-5 weaks, and additionally in OMT group We applied OMT for 4-5 weaks. after that all the r-CBF of two groups took brain SPECT again. r-CBF difference and change before and after SCM treatment and OMT were quantified and analyzed using SPM. 3. Results r-CBF of OMT groups were increased compared to control groups. 4. Conclusions This study demonstrated that Sasang Constitutional OMT increased regional cerebral blood perfusion to the corresponding brain areas in ischemic stroke patients.

Objectives: The purpose of this study was to investigate the clinical application of oriental medical therapy(OMT) and psychotherapy to a somatoform disorder patient with chronic pelycalgia and hemiparesis. Methods: We treated the patient with psychotherapy such as relaxation therapy and suggestion. OMT that we used is represented by retention enema therapy. The recovery of the pelycalgia was evaluated by Visual Analogue Scale(VAS). Results: Following the treatment the patient's pelycalgia and hemiparesis was improved. The sum of VAS score was rapidly decreased(from 113 to 28). Conclusion: OMT and psychotherapy have positive effects on the patient with chronic pelycalgia and hemiparesis.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the clinical application of oriental medical therapy(OMT) to Speech retardation complained problems of Articulation & Reading fluency. We treated the patient with OMT & others. The recovery of Speech retardation was evaluated by Articulation correction test(ACT) & Reading fluency test(RFT). The applicability of OMT & other therapy has positive effects on the patient with Speech retardation complained problems of Articulation & Reading fluency. The scores of ACT & RFT were increased.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the clinical application of oriental medical therapy(OMT) and Myers-Briggs Type Indicator(MBTI) to Bipolar disorder. We treated the patient with OMT and Counseling. Counseling with the MBTI helped the patient to solve the life stress induced by the spouse conflict. Following the treatment, the patient's symptoms(somatic & mental) were improved. The applicability of Counseling with the MBTI has positive effects on the patient with Bipolar disorder.

Objectives : This study was peformed to evaluate the actual state and the effects of Smoking Prevention or Stop-Smoking Programs (Sp/SSP) for middle school students and to confirm students' needs for Oriental Medical Treatments (OMT) in SP/SSP. Methods : Thirty-nine middle school students who took part in the SP/SSP of the Public Health Center (PHC) in July 2004 answered the questionnaire. There were twenty students in $PHC{\alpha}$, and 19 students in $PHC{\beta}$. Resillts : 1. At the elementary school, SP/SSP is not enough, compared with middle school (p=.000). 2. Subjects preferred tile documents from PCH to those from school $(PCH{\alpha}: p-value=.002,\;PCH{\beta}: p-value=.004)$ 3. There was no mention of OMT in school SP/SSP. 4. The degree of thinking about need of teaming OMT in SSP has a positive correlationship (p-value=.000) with intention to be treated with auricular acupuncture therapy. Results : The SP/SSP for middle-school students must be improved to be more active, more experimental and more individual. Also, a more various, positive approach in OMT is required toward the Stop-Smoking Program.
