The aim of this study is to explore the effect of injustice perception on work alienation and the mediating role played by the employee's cynicism between injustice perception and work alienation in the healthcare sector in Oman. By utilizing a simple random sampling technique, data were collected using a questionnaire consisting of 306 nurses working in private healthcare providing organizations in Oman. The collected data was then analyzed using AMOS program through the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The results of study show that the levels of perception of injustice and cynicism of nurses in the private healthcare centers were low, while the work alienation was found to be at moderate level in these healthcare organizations. The findings of the empirical study reveal that injustice perception and employee's cynicism significantly affect work alienation. The impact of injustice perception in creating employee's cynicism was also observed. The hypothesis that the mediating role played by employee's cynicism in injustice perception and work alienation relationship was partially supported. Moreover, injustice perception and cynicism directly affect work alienation, therefore, these hospitals should consider organizational policies and procedures to achieve equality and justice among nursing personnel, and to eliminate the factors that cause cynicism and work alienation.
In a rapidly changing corporate environment, the relationship among organizational justice, job attitude, and cynicism as factors influencing exit, voice, loyalty, and neglect that can promote the performance improvement of organizational members was analyzed with the PLS (Partial Least Squares) structural equation in two stage approach. Organizational justice constitutes a formative secondary factor by the first order of distributional justice, procedural justice, and interactional justice, and job attitude is a formative secondary factor of job satisfaction and organizational commitment. We analyze the direct and indirect effects by mediating relationships of cynicism and job attitude on the factors such as exit, voice, loyalty, and neglect. From the perspectives of knowledge management, we analyzed how the perception of organizational justice affects the overall performance of the organization through the improvement of the employees' performance.
This paper attempted to explore the plausible reasons why change activities to build up organizational trust might be often short-lived, even though it can become the most valuable social capital for an organization. Based upon a reference data collected from a large company in various methods, retrospective rationalization, difficulties embedded in the processes of realizing the five bases of organizational trust (such as openness, consistence, fairness, consideration, and pride), and top management's negative conviction were identified and discussed as fundamental reasons for the distrust in the usefulness of organizational trust. In addition, middle managers' overcautiousness about their superiors' feeling and organizational cynicism as contributing factors for the distrust in the form of vicious circle were discussed.

This study was conducted to investigate the effects of trust in supervisor, work intensity, and organizational cynicism on organizational silence of clinical nurses. Data were collected from 134 nurses in 6 hospitals in two cities in February 2018. The data were analyzed by t-test, one-way ANOVA, $Scheff{\acute{e}}$ test, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and stepwise multiple regression using SPSS 25.0. There were significant correlations between trust in supervisor, work intensity and organizational silence, r=-.32(p=<.001) and r=.18(p=.043), respectively. The factors that significantly influenced organizational silence were trust in supervisor (${\beta}=-.36$, p<.001), the length of career in current hospital (over 10 years, ${\beta}=-.67$, p=.002), type of work (day only, ${\beta}=-.79$, p<.001; 3-shift, ${\beta}=-.64$, p<.001). In order to reduce clinical nurses' organizational silence, programs should be provided to increase trust in supervisor and to offer changes in work types and work intensity.

Results: The mean of OCB was $5.21{\pm}.59$. The OCB had statistically significant differences according to age(F=1.706, p=.007), tenure duration (F=3.450, p=.009), choice of nursing department(t=1.651, p=.000), marriage(t=2.341, p=.020) and religion(F=2.578, p=.038). The OCB was positively correlated with high-level need(r=.303, p=.000), neuroticism(r=.155, p=.020), task interdependence(r=.433, p=.000), age(r=.172, p=.010) and tenure duration(r=.190, p=.004); negatively with cynicism (r=-.310, p=.000). The task interdependence(18.7%), cynicism(7.7%) and tenure duration(1.9%) explained 28.3% of the variance for OCB in nursing organization. Conclusion: It is necessary to enhance the task interdependence, increase tenure and understand the characteristics of nurses to increase the OCB in clinical nurses. In this study, various conflicts in the maritime police organization were diagnosed and police subculture, which is different from dominant mainstream maritime police culture, was concluded to cause conflicts. In addition, maritime police conflicts and conflicts due to the balance, confrontation, and contradiction between bureaucratic and democratic values in the maritime police organization itself are discussed. The results of analysis on the effects of Maritime police subculture on organizational conflict are as follows: First, the influence of cynicism on functional conflict was explored. The higher the level of lies of the persons under investigation, the more functional conflict appeared. Also, if a person showed a low level of credibility among the police, this also led to functional conflict. In addition, if an individual showed low levels of cooperation and credibility with the police, this resulted in hierarchical conflict. Second, the influence of machismo on functional conflict was also explored. It was found that female officers experienced conflicts because of poorer job performance compared to male counterparts. In hierarchical issues, female officers experienced conflict over the reduced scope of tasks assigned to them and lower job performance ability. Third, the effect of non-acceptance of change in functional conflict was not statistically significant. An aggressive attitude toward crime control and rejecting jobs unrelated to crime influenced functional conflict, and an aggressive attitude and performing jobs unrelated to crime lead to functional conflict.
