Purpose - Corporate activities for enhancing and improving corporate performance can largely be divided into exploration and exploitation. The purpose of this study is to examine the impact of implementing organizational ambidexterity in SMEs, including distribution firms, by reviewing the extant literature and deriving the basis on which this strategy affects the managerial performance. Research, design, and methodology - The study uses a systematic review methodology, which employs a structured process to discern trends and meaningful themes across a wide body of literature on specific subjects and research questions. This qualitative study examined the influence of ambidextrous strategies of SMEs on firm performance, and the results were synthesized from the literature. Results - Organizational ambidexterity in SMEs is related to the firm's managerial performance. However, it is crucial to know that there are many ways to generate an ambidextrous organization, and decisions about what method to choose should be based on the environmental aspects of the enterprise. Conclusions - The following aspects should be considered for execution; : making practical decisions based on accurate information about the resources the firm has, considering the organizational level of human resources for implementing organizational ambidexterity, and sharing specific performance goals.
Purpose: This study demonstrated and analyzed the role of distributive justice and procedural justice in explaining the organizational effectiveness of flight attendant. In addition, analyzing the role of the airline type in the coordination between reward justice and organizational effectiveness. Research design, data and methodology: An abstract is the impact relationship between the reward justice and organizational effectiveness of flight attendant and the adjustment effect of the airline type was reviewed. To examine these research models, samples were collected from 281flight attendants during Nov, 2019. Results: Reward justice has a positive effect on organizational effectiveness, and the types of airlines have a meaningful adjustment effect in terms of the effect of reward justice on organizational effectiveness. Conclusions: Procedural justice and distributive justice have positive influence on two sub factors of organizational effectiveness of the flight attendant. It suggests that the standards, procedures and processes of compensation must be fair, the degree of effort, the stress or the tension of the flight attendant should be considering, and it is necessary for the airline to respect the personality of the flight attendant and provide them with accurate compensation information in a timely manner. This will increase the awareness of reward.
Purpose: To evaluate the relationship between organizational socialization and intention to leave, and to identify factors affecting on intention to leave in operating room nurses. Methods: This study used a descriptive design. Seventy operating room nurses recruited from three hospitals under the same management style, in-service educational system, and working conditions agreed to participate in this study, and completed self-administered questionnaires of the organizational socialization and the intention to leave questionnaire. Respondents were classified by career as advanced beginner, competent practitioner, proficient practitioner and expert practitioner by Benner's stages of nursing proficiency. Data were analyzed with t-test, ANOVA with multiple comparisons, Spearman correlation, and multiple regression analysis. Results: Nurses unsatisfied with the current in-service continuous education had lower organizational socialization and higher intention to leave. In advanced beginners, job performance was lowest and organizational commitment was highest. In expert practitioners, intention to leave was highest. Organizational commitment, interpersonal relationship, identity and burnout were associated with intention to leave. Mutual trust, burnout, and interpersonal relationship were predictors of intention to leave explained 20.8% of variance. Conclusion: The career ladder program to enhance nurses' organizational socialization and intention to stay should be established and expanded for well-experienced operating room nurses.
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify the effects of service orientation on the organizational commitment and management performance of public health center workers. Methods: A cross-sectional survey design was used. A convenience sample of 280 workers was recruited from six public health centers in J province, South Korea. Data were collected by self-report questionnaires, including general characteristics, service orientation, organizational commitment, and management performance. Data were analyzed with descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation coefficients, independent t-test, one-way ANOVA, and hierarchical regression using the SPSS 22.0 program. Results: The service orientations explained 34.1%of the variance in organizational commitment and explained 31.4% of the variance in management performance. The service orientation was a significant predictor of organizational commitment and management performance. Conclusion: The results of this study suggest that better strategies for service orientations will be helpful to enhance organizational commitment and management performance in the public health center.
Purpose: This study aimed at exploring the impacts of organizational conflict and job satisfaction on the turnover intention among dental technicians. Methods: This study utilized a descriptive research design. A structured questionnaire was administered to 159 dental technicians. Of the collected questionnaires, data from 127 valid questionnaires were analyzed using t-tests, analysis of variance, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and hierarchical multiple regression using the IBM SPSS 20.0 statistical package. Results: A positive correlation was identified between organizational conflict and turnover intention (r=0.46, p<0.001); however, a negative correlation was shown between job satisfaction and turnover intention (r=-0.50, p<0.001). A hierarchical multiple-regression model was employed to analyze working hours, unfair treatment from dentists and dental hygienists, organizational conflict, and job satisfaction, which contributed to providing an explanation to 39% of the turnover intention of dental technicians (F=14.16, p<0.001). Furthermore, organizational conflict (β=0.32, p<0.001), job satisfaction (β=-0.31, p=0.003), and working hours (β=0.21, p=0.010) were all shown to affect turnover intention. Conclusion: The impact of the negative consequences of organizational conflict and working hours on the turnover intention should be considered within core strategies for increasing the turnover periods for dental technicians.
Employees of sales departments of apparel makers play an important role in the success of a fashion-related business because they provide service through the direct contact with customers. This research tests several hypothesized relationships between internal marketing and its determinants, such as job satisfaction and organizational and job commitment, along with sales goal orientation. The subjects in this study were salespeople who worked at fashion stores in Yeosu and Sunchon. To measure the hypotheses, 200 questionnaires were handed out and 185 were collected. Finally, 163 questionnaires were used for the analysis, as 22 were found to be invalid. Frequency analysis, factor analysis, reliability analysis, and multiple regression techniques were used after coding and cleaning the data with the software SPSS 18.0. It was found that job satisfaction in the subjects is affected by organizational and job commitment and by their sales goal orientation. Second, it was found that both organizational and job commitment have a significant impact on sales goal orientation. According the results of this study, the higher the salesperson's job satisfaction, the higher the organizational and job commitment are. This was also true for their sales goal orientation. Moreover, higher organizational and job commitment was correlated with a stronger sales goal orientation. On the basis of the results, marketing strategies related to personal management can be established.
Purpose- This research's purpose is to give implications on how to increase employee satisfaction and organizational commitment of Korean employees using internal marketing. To do that this study analyzes relationships among variables and analyses mediating effect of satisfaction. Also, this study wants to analyze economic performance change of business as a moderator so group comparison between an economic slump and economic recovery is included. Research design, data, and methodology- To analyze relationships among internal marketing, employee satisfaction and organizational commitment of Korean employees, this study used the 7th KRIVET's HCCP data of employee and firm's financial statements data. And conducted CFA, SEM and group comparison analysis by using AMOS 21. Result- According to the empirical results, employee satisfaction mediates between internal marketing and organizational commitment. However, trust was the only significant antecedent that give a positive influence on employee satisfaction. And employee satisfaction increases organizational commitment. Also, economic performance change of business does significantly deteriorate relationships. Conclusion- Based on this study result, implications to manage the organizational commitment of Korean employees are discussed. Especially, the effect of employee satisfaction and trust discussed. Also, economic performance group which is an economic slump and economic recovery differentiation is highlighted. Purpose - Once individuals in an organization don't comprehend with each other's culture and their interaction context differ, there is a bigger danger of poor communication in the organizations. Therefore, people must have a sufficiently comparable interpretation of data, communicative acts and the office itself. For this reason, the purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between organizational culture and employee communication. Research design, Data, and methodology - The present researcher used categorization matrix development to review data for content. Additionally, the present researcher coded the data to correspond with the identified categories. The role of the categorization matrix is to ensure that the categories hardly represent the concepts and thus validating the findings of the study. Result - The findings from prior resources shows that the role of organizational culture on employee communication satisfaction is a pertinent issue that must be addressed and analyzed to help organizations make the desired profits and productivity. This study provides five solutions between organizational culture and employee communication satisfaction. Conclusion - This study concludes that every employee performs well where they think they are being appreciated and their efforts are rewarded. On the other hand, different organizations have instilled different organizational cultures to ensure they promote the level of satisfaction of their employees in order to yield them an improved employee performance and overall organizational performance.
Purpose - This study is a study on the factors affecting job satisfaction of foreign migrant workers (focusing on domestic automobile industry workers) to examine the impact of foreign workers on the corporate management of Korean manufacturers in Korean society. Design/methodology/approach - A survey was conducted on 152 foreign laborers who lived in Korea. First, an exploratory factor analysis was performed to confirm reliability and validity. Second, an multiple regression was conducted based on the reliability and exploratory factor analysis results. Third, the mediation regression by checking the effect of organizational commitment. Findings - The acculturation and organizational fairness were found to have a great influence on job satisfaction, and this study found that perceived acculturation had an effect on job satisfaction through the mediating effect of organizational commitment. In addition, organizational fairness was also found to have an effect on job satisfaction as a mediating effect of organizational commitment. Research implications or Originality - It was to provide meaningful implications for foreign workers in the current Korean labor market. Based on the results, the corporate competitiveness of Korean manufacturers should be further secured.
