황색종 잎담배의 후숙과정 중 유리당, 비휘발성 유기산 및 지방산의 변화 (Changes of Free Sugars, Non-Volatile Organic Acids and Fatty Acids in Flue-cured Leaf Tobacco during Aging)

  • This study was carried out to investigate the changes of free sugars, non-volatile organic and fatty acids in flue-cured leaf tobacco during aging. The threshed leaf tobacco(B1O and C1L) produced in 2002 crop year was aged for 21 month in warehouse of Oc-Cheon Leaf Tobacco Processing Factory. The leaf tobacco were sampled at three month intervals for analysis of free sugars, non-volatile organic and fatty acids. The major free sugars of flue-cured were glucose and fructose regardless of tobacco grades. After aging period of 21 months, the contents of glucose and fructose showed a tendency to slightly decrease, and there was no appreciable change in the contents of sucrose in B1O and C1L grades. The major compound of non-volatile organic acid and fatty acid were malic, oxalic and citric, linolenic, linoleic and palmitic acid regardless of tobacco grade. After aging period of 21 months, the contents of malic, malonic, oxalic and fumaric acid showed a tendency to slightly decrease, whereas succinic acid was slightly increased, and maleic acid was not changed in B1O and C1L grades. The decreases in fatty acid contents in B1O and C1L grade tobacco loaves after 21 month aging were 16.5% and 9.8%, respectively. The decreases in linolenic acid contents in two grades were the highest, showing 22.1% and 12.0% reduction after 21 month aging.

포화 수산화칼슘 수용액 내에서의 무기계 및 유기계 방청제의 전기화학적 방식 특성평가 (A Study on the Anti-corrosion Properties of Organic and Inorganic Inhibitor by Electrochemical Evaluation Method in Saturated Aqueous Solution of Calcium Hydroxide)

  • 본 연구에서는 부동태피막형 무기계 방청제와 흡착형 유기계 방청제를 대상으로, 시멘트세공용액을 모사한 포화 수산화칼슘 수용액내에서 염화물이온 농도와 방청성분 몰비를 변수로 하여 Potentiostat을 사용하여 부식전위, 부식속도, 분극저항을 측정하여 방식성능을 평가하였다. 그 결과, 무기계 방청제는 방청몰비 약 1.2 이상에서 방식성능을 확보하는 것으로 나타났고, 유기계 방청제는 방청몰비 약 0.3 이상에서 방식성능을 확보하는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 부식속도와 분극저항, 부식속도와 부식전위의 관계는 선형 반비례 경향을 나타냈고, 분극저항과 부식전위는 선형 비례하는 것을 알 수 있었으며, 부식전위, 부식속도, 분극저항과의 상관관계는 유기계와 무기계 방청제에서 큰 차이가 없는 것으로 나타났다.

경안천 유역의 강우 시, 비 강우 시 난분해성 유기물질 유출 특성 (Runoff Characteristics of Refractory Organic Matters from Kyongan River Watershed during Rainfall Event and Dry Season)

  • This research investigates the runoff characteristics of refractory organic matters from Kyongan river watershed. Samples were taken 27 times during dry season, 4 times during rain events and analyzed into flow rate, Dissolved Organic Carbon (DOC), Particulate Organic Carbon (POC), Refractory Dissolved Organic Carbon (R-DOC), Refractory Particulate Organic Carbon (R-POC). R-DOC during dry season was the lowest in winter and showed a rising tendency in spring and R-POC changes less than R-DOC. The mass loading of Refractory Total Organic Carbon (R-TOC) in summer takes approximately 80% of 1 year mass loading. During rainy season, EMC of R-DOC was similar to R-DOC in dry season. But maximum EMC of R-POC was 12 times higher than that of R-POC in dry season. Results of the survey show that enhanced management of R-DOC in dry season and R-POC in rainy season is needed.

  • ORMOSIL was synthesized with inorganic precursor, TEOS and organic precursor, PDMS, and the variation of composite properties according to the concentration of HCl, solvent content and reaction time were studied. As the concentration of HCl increased, condensation reaction was well proceeded and more regularly distributed network was observed. Increase in reactivity was found with the amount of solvent, and composite had a tendency of forming more porous microstructure as reaction time was increased, which had no influence on the bonding degree.

It has great influence in all aspects of nature, especially 'Eco-friendly design' that takes not only health life of present but also affluent life in the future into consideration became an inevitable trend in almost all industries including the apparel and distribution industry worldwide. Therefore, this study is an eco-friendly tendency in fashion that are hot issue in the world and focused on advertisement and collection since 2000. The aim of this is to classify eco-friendly fashion design study presented in contemporary fashion brand. In result, it was analyzed fourth tendencies as follows : eco-friendly tendency with organic material, upgradation of recycle fashion, green campaign and well-being LOHAS fashion. In this aspect, eco-friendly tendency that is expanded to overall society, culture and living shows in present.

생선류 섭취양상에 따른 모발중 수은 함량 (Mercury Contents of Human Scalp Hair by the Consumption Pattern in Fish)

  • This paper was conducted to examine the level of total and organic mercury in the scalp hair by the consumption pattern of fish. The scalp hair samples were collected from the occipital part of 101 in coastal, 106 in rural. The total and organic mercury contents of adult scalp hair increased with age up to the forties and slightly decreased in the fifties. (p<0.01) The mercury contents of the persons who were favorite dishes of fish were most high, and who prefer fish were 2 times higher than those of the persons who prefer vegetables and broiled. The contents of total and organic mercury in scalp hair showed a increasing tendency with the intake frequency of raw and cooked fish. (p<0.01) The total and organic mercury contents in the raw fishes were over 2 times higher than those in the boiled fishes.

Microplastic release from damaged commercial teabags

  • The use of plastics in our everyday lives have been drastically increased during the last few decades. However with the usage of commercial plastic products there is a possibility of microplastic consumption, due to the fragmentation of the products. Additionally, the potential for microplastic ingestion may also be increased by using damaged products. Hence, the current study was conducted to understand the potential release of micro/nano plastics and organic matter from damaged teabags. To check the leakage tendency, the amount of damage to the tea bags from 1-10 cm were tested along with temperatures of 25-70℃, and exposure times from 5 min to 1 hr was tested. Release of fibrous micro/nanoplastics, and organic leachate from the damaged teabags were observed to understand the outflow conditions. Results showed that with the increased degree of damage, temperature, and exposure time increased the release of fiberous matter, where the increase of temperature, and exposure time increased organic leachate. Additional analysis confirmed the leachate of nylon polymers into the heated water.

  • The paradigm of contemporary times became different from paradigm of modem times. The change of paradigm is caused by the side effect of paradigm of pre-times. It could be said that contemporary paradigm is pluralism. In the forms of contemporary building and interior design, the informal form is the result of pluralism. This study is researching and analyzing the informal design tendency in the interior space composition of contemporary architecture. the 1950's free form movement, 1960's Informal movement and pluralism after 1970's affected the latest informal forms. The tendencies of contemporary informal design are organic-degital tendency and deconstructive tendency. Along this two kinds of tendencies, I studied the specific characters in expression and analyzed some natural-degital, deconstructive building.

유기셀레늄강화버섯 폐배지의 급여수준에 따른 거세한우 채끝육의 육질특성 (Effects of Organic Selenium Supplementation on Meat Quality of Hanwoo Steers)

  • The current study was conducted to investigate the effect of organic selenium in mushroom cultured media (MCM) on beef quality. Each five of 20 Hanwoo steers(20 - 24 month, approximately 613 kg) were assigned to four levels of the selenium content(O.l, 0.3, 0.6, 0.9 dry matter based ppm), and the feeding treatments were enforced for 12 weeks. The results showed that m. longissimus from the 0.1 ppm feeding supplementation had greatly higher intramuscular fat content than other treatments(13.1 %). In meat color, the 0.1 ppm treatment showed the lowest lightness(CIE $L^*$)(P< 0.05) and had a tendency to have lower redness(CIE $a^*$). The treatment had no noticeable effect on moisture, protein, and ash content, cooking loss, water-holding capacity and purge loss. The 0.3 ppm treatment resulted in the toughest meat(assessed by WB-shear force) with 4.54 kg / inch', while other groups showed a similar toughness ranging from 3.3 to 3.7 kg/ inchl . Sensory characteristics in juiciness and flavor intensity had a tendency of increasing as organic selenium concentration increased, but tenderness was not influenced by the contents. The result indicated that the organic selenium feeding affects meat qualities to different extent, and further study is required to examine anti-oxidant effect of selenium in vivo.

근대건축공간의 생태적 디자인 특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Characteristics of Ecological Design in Modern Architecture space)

  • Ecological traces appearing in contemporary architecture are based on modern architecture and most aspects on the contemporary architecture are related with the successive trend or break of the modern architecture. The concept of environment in the modern age has established clear destination, as it has been considered as nature. The architecture under a mechanical world view in the modem age has sustained the opposing connection with nature as environment. However, there have been architects maintaining the sympathy with nature in that vortex. This trend has been regarded as same context as ecological architecture and estimated to the outpost of ecological characteristics appearing in the contemporary architecture. This study is to make it clear that the ecological manifestation in the contemporary architecture is based on the ecology in the modem architecture through considering ecological ideals of architects in the modern architecture and considering space composition and structural properties in the modern architecture of ecological paradigm. The scope of this study contains spacial analysis, design strategy, and design types of organic architecture in nature, which has appeared from the modern age. First, the division into period is carried out according to the organic tendency of non-mainstream in the modern architecture: Arts and Crafts Movement, Art Nouveau, Sezession, Expressionism, Organic Architecture, Regionalism, Internationalism. Therefore, this study is significant to be on the search for a start to suggest ecological point of view to architectural space in modern architecture and is search organic characteristics for ecological characteristics in modern architecture; organic relation, thermal buffer space, regionalism, multi-layer, energy efficiency.
