Effect of Intercropping of Spring-Sowing Rye for Organic Soybean Cultivation (콩 유기재배시 춘파호밀 간작의 효과)

  • This study was conducted to investigate the sowing time and sowing methods of the Rye(Secale cereale L.) for an organic soybean farming system. It can be seen that there was no significantly differences on soil chemical properties in the rhizosphere due to the Rye's sowing season. A soil chemical properties due to the Rye's sowing date in spring, O.M.(g $kg^{-1}$) contents was increased at a late Rye's sowing dat, while on the other pH, Avail. $P_2O_5$(mg $kg^{-1}$) and CEC(cmol+ $kg^{-1}$) were decreased. A highest yields of soybean was achieved at the plot which the Rye was sowed on 20th March with two-line, 5 row and 70cm row-space.

  • Organic semi-conductive materials have characteristics such as the advantages of easy formability, low-cost and diversity along with moderate semi-conductive properties. In this paper, we developed a flexible organic-inorganic hybrid solar cell fiber. First, we made a solar cell on the glass and attached the solar cell on the glass fiber similarly. In the latter case, thermal deposition method was employed in order to effectively apply ITO onto fiber surface. The amount of ITO was controlled by varying the temperature from 25, 150 to $300^{\circ}C$. Optimum result was obtained at $150^{\circ}C$ where maximize the deposition amount without significant decomposition of ITO. Despite of maximum open circuit voltage of 0.39V, the resulting current was quite unstable and weak, limiting realistic applications. It was, however, concluded that the flexible solar cell fiber developed showed a possibility of low-weight application from functional clothing for military to space suit mainly due to flexibility and thus wear ability.

  • Fractal geometry based upon the latest complex theory shows different features of design pattern quite different from the past. It is not yet sure which kind of effects it would bring about in the future, we think that it would help to create various spaces and organic design vision.   • Contemporary space design has based on the framework of academic standards on a number of scientific propositions in order to find out correlation of human and environment and closely examine approaches of a normative design. However the contents are enormous and introductory and have limitation of application to practical business affairs so that we will have to understand them as a thinking to explain the design with,. Therefore this study is an experimental research making use of concrete design approaches applicable to the area of space design ad cinematic construction as a medium. The purpose and significance of it lies in examining its validity and contributing to the future development of space design. Accordingly this study conducted the research through a literature survey for the understanding of space perception in the cinema deduced the language of design concept according to it examined the basic unit of cinematic construction then analyzed the cases of practical architectural spaces. The findings of this study indicate that human's perception to space and the cinema is deduced as a common conceptual language characterized by the ideas of articulation scenery and timeness. These concepts are very organic and interdependent and can probably become a means for human to appropriately analyze an behavior attribute type of investigating environment with. Also in composing space the basic units of cinematic construction can be as instrument to be easily applied to practical affairs as they are correlated with the function of space and a constituent language to be reasonably designed.

  • The aim of this study to present useful information on effective space composition by understanding education process of a preschool for children's education and required interior space for this process. The 6th education process of a preschool as the criteria on this study would be classified into 5 spheres as follows : Health life, Social life, Expression life, Language life. survey life. And the required interior space would largely be classified into interesting sphere and home sphere. As a result of analyzing the space composition, we can draw conclusion as follows : First, the interior spaces for properly doing children's education process have close relations. So, each sphere too independent or too unified is not good. That is to say, each sphere has closely organic connection for enhancing efficiency. Secondly, children's service spaces are considered to in children's education process. And the space had better be made for children only considering their physical states. Finally, we have to in advance process. And the space had better be made for children only considering their physical states. Finally, we have to in advance understand educational aim and program because space composition can be changed according to the aim of education process.

A study on the ideological structure of palace space in Josun period (조선시대 궁궐공간의 관념적 구성에 관한 연구)

  • It has been general view to Josun palace space that the Kyongbok palace, a main palace, is arranged with symmetric geometrical composition principles and, unlikely main palace, sub-palaces such as Changduk, Changkyong and Kyonghee palace are placed in organic structure adapted to natural land form. With that view, there are no common factors to be considered between these palace, main and sub palace, in composting principles of the space. In this study, because of same ideological period, although there is external difference of that palaces, that common ideological principles are projected to these two palaces types through compositing space is assumed. On this hypostasis, this study has been focused on finding the ideological principles projected to these palace space commonly. As result of study, some of them are considered as common principles; Firstly, they are arranged in the text of contents through the way of naming to building, enterence and so on. The second point is ; it is viewed that the Oheung and symmetric arrangement method based on Oheung are used in compositing of palace space. The third is ; through analizing central space of Kyongbok palace, it is analized that oneness composition principles, which are based on the theory of Umyangheong, are projected to different palace space commonly.

Measurement of Organic Solvent from Painting Work Inside the Steel Box Girder of Bridge (교량 스틸박스거더 도장공사의 유기용제 측정 실험)

  • This study is to find out how organic solvent will be propagated from painting inside the steel box girder of bridge. $2.9m{\times}3.0m$ of inside size of steel box girder is not suitable for painters to do his work comfortably and hygienically. Substance density(ppm)inside the space of the box unsatisfactory hygienical condition. Most of organic solvent(mainly toluene) came down to 0.5m in two minutes and 53sec. But personal protection for painter should be properly kept against flying this heavy organic solvent. longitudinally 27.1m in length is a cell unit of the whole length of bridge. Model XP-3l6A made in Japan is a main instrumentation adjusted to sense organic solvent especially toluene which can be measured up to 10,000ppm. Scenario analysis by computer program, safer release 2.0 has been performed first to estimate how the organic solvent will be propagated. And then actual test was done as a model. This has been measured for approximately five(5) minutes, with 30 sec interval. Actual measurement results showed much higher $10{\sim}20%$ than result analyzed by the computer program, meaning that this painting work can give worse effect to the worker who is painting inside the box girder of the bridge. The first meas urement level over the floor set up at 30cm height from the floor, because organic solvent was estimated to stay at the level. and then, they were measured at 1.0m, 1.5m level respectively, more.

유류오염대수층에서 고온 공기분사공정법을 통한 TPH, VOCs, $CO_2$ 변화에 관한 특성인자 연구

  • In-situ Air Sparging (IAS, AS) is a groundwater remediation technique, in which organic contaminants are volatilized into air as it rises from saturated to vadose soil zone. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of environmental conditions on the degradation of VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds) and $CO_2$ in the unsaturated zone and TPH (Total Petroleum Hydrocarbons) in saturated zone of sandy loam. In the laboratory, diesel (10,000 mg TPH/kg)-contaminated saturated soil. After heating the soil for 36 days, the equilibrium temperature of soil reached to $34.9{\pm}2.7^{\circ}C$ and TPH concentration was reduced to 78.9% of the initial value, Volatilization loss of VOCs in TPH was about 2%, The reduction gradient of $CO_2$ concentration was 0.018/day in air space and 0.0007/day in unsaturated zone.

  • By cation-exchange-reaction long-chain organic cationic tensides can be intercalated in the montmorillonite layer space, and thus intercalations-complexes of montmorillonite with different properties of materials can be obtained. Such intercalations-complexes are finding strong technical appliances in many areas and are also used very often as model-systems for studying behaviors of materials. Therefore in this research intercalations-complexes of montmorillonite with organic cationic tensides ad model-systems were synthesized and their behabiors under various different conditions were studied.

Electrical Conduction Mechanism in ITO/Alq3/Al Organic Light-emitting Diodes

  • We have used ITO/Alq$_3$/Al structure to study electrical conduction mechanism in organic light-emitting diodes. Current-voltage-luminance characteristics were measured at room temperature by varying the thickness of Alq$_3$ layer from 60 to 400mm. We were able to confirm that there are three different mechanisms depending on the applied voltage region; ohmic, space-charge-limited current, and trap-charge-limit-current mechanism. And the maximum luminous efficiency was obtained when the thickness of Alq$_3$ layer is 200nm.
